1. Soberano Jr. & Star Jr. defeat Disturbio & Guerrero Negro Jr.
The young tecnicos take the match in straight falls and it looks as though this could be a permanent pairing.
2. Cavernario, Kamaitachi & Okumura defeat Fuego, Dragon Lee & Pegasso
The rudos take the first and third falls as Cavernario leads the foreigners to an unusual win.
3. Máscara Dorada, Ángel de Oro & Valiente defeat Hombre Sin Nombre, Pierroth & Sagrado
Sagrado made this an interesting match by scoring a quick pin in a short first fall as the remainder of the match was a tecnico highlight. Sagrado hasn't seen much change to his card placement since the rudo turn but he could use more help than this trio.
4. Blue Panther, Rey Cometa & Cachorro defeat Negro Casas, Felino & Puma
Panther got a measure of revenge a week after watching his son's leg being broken at the hands of the Casas family. The tecnicos took the first and third falls but it seemed anti-climatic as Felino blatantly fouled Cachorro to end the match as Panther and Casas battles at ringside.
5. Último Guerrero, Rey Escorpión & Niebla Roja defeat Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr. & La Máscara
The rudos were the same as three days ago in Guadalajara but the result was much better as they took the second and third falls. Everyone had strong sequences though Rojo and Escorpión clearly led the match. Guerrero and Atlantis stuck with the usual build to the mask pulling sequences though the other four did allow them to show a little more when they weren't directly against each other.
6. CMLL Universal Tournament Final Match: La Sombra defeats Titán
This match turned into a real classic as Sombra was forced to take on the unfamiliar veteran role and Titán is one of the few talents in CMLL who can keep up with Sombra. The pace was quick from the start and the first fall showcased how Sombra could use his experience to maintain the advantage over Titán. Sombra would reverse a tornado DDT attempt into a wicked Northern Lights suplex into the turnbuckles and pin a crumbled Titán to take the first fall. The second fall would see Titán push for the next level and the frustration continually pushed Sombra into a rudo position. With each near fall Sombra would start to utilize more aggression and eventually Titán would find his oportunity following a missed corkscrew plancha. Titán would seize the moment with his headstand rope flip moonsault and even the match at one fall apiece. The final fall would lift the career of Titán to the next level as the fans were clearly behind him with every offensive move and kick out. It was a back and forth third fall until Titán would miss with a somersault tope and Sombra would connect with a perfect corkscrew tope. Sombra controlled the match from there but it was the close near falls that took the spotlight and drove the fans insane. Sombra used a corner dropkick borrowed from Rush to nearly decapitate Titán but couldn't score a near fall as Titán was quickly back to his feet and looking for his own corner dropkick. Sombra would catch Titán but was quickly on the wrong end of a monkey flip. Titán looked for the advantage once again but somehow Sombra landed on his feet and then avoided the charging Titán, sending him shoulder first into the ring post. It was a devastating Brillante Driver and an academic three count that would allow Sombra to become the first man to ever win the Universal Tournament twice.
