TURNING POINT
Live on iPPV
Sound Stage 20, Orlando, Florida - November 14th, 2014
The show begins with a quick video package to the song "Hater" by Korn basically featuring the stars and major happenings here in NWA Florida and beyond that have lead up to this monumental occasion.
Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs. Kenny Omega & Finn BalorFrom there we head ringside where we see Josh Matthews and Matt Striker sitting in, ready to call all of the action for tonight. They go over a few points, but are interrupted as MVP makes his way out to the ring. He welcomes all of the fans, who give him a great ovation, and then gets down to business. He says there will be one major title defense tonight. Last week, two men made hugely impressive debuts, and that is Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins. Tonight, North American champion John Cena is here, and he wanted a fight, so tonight, he gets one, as he takes on BOTH MEN in a triple threat match for the belt! The fans approve of this, and that looks to be a big one.
He goes on to say things between Chris Jericho and AJ Styles have escalated, and with the words of Samoa Joe, he's decided one of them needs to get a shot at the Heavyweight champion, and we'll find out which that will be tonight. He says tonight, in the main event, Jericho and Styles will be going one-on-one in a Number One Contendership match! The fans go nuts for this, exploding with pro-AJ Styles chants.
He says the next order of business is this Number One contenders match for the World Tag Team titles. He says the World Tag champs are in the building, and they are here to check out the tag teams here in NWA Florida. MVP says they are going to get an eye full, because tonight will be a night that flips the tag team scene here in the NWA on its head! Unfortunately, two former World Tag Team champions couldn't make it tonight... the Rockstars and Hijos del Terror... the fans boo this, as they'd been expecting to see them in action. MVP then calls out The Juicy Product, who were also slated for that match. JT Dunn and David Starr make their way out, along with Kimber Lee. They seem flustered, asking what the Hell is going on, and MVP hushes them and continues, stating last week, they were attacked in cowardly fashion by the Young Bucks, and tonight, they'll have a chance at revenge, as they are one of the teams added to that match tonight!
And out come the Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson!
Matt has a mic in hand as they head into the ring. MVP gets in between these heated teams, and Matt begins. Matt says he's tired of promoters being afraid to push the best tag team alive, and that's the Young Bucks! He says he's just as tired of cookie cutter wanna-be's like the Juicy Product trying to step up and steal their spotlight! Last week, they sent them a message, and tonight, on live PPV, their going to show why they are, without a shadow of a doubt, they only tag team that matters in the NWA! And they are glad the Pistols are here to see it first hand, cause they are going to be handing those belts over sooner than later!
JT Dunn grabs the microphone from MVP and says he doesn't care what the Young Bucks think, tonight is going to be about the Juicy Product getting revenge and kicking some Jackson ass, and showing the world that they aren't just some flash in the pan, but they deserve to be competing on the global stage, and deserve to be the top tag team in professional wrestling!
Just then, a loud whistle can be heard and some western style music plays, and out from the back comes John "Bradshaw" Layfield! Layfield gets a decidedly mixed reaction. JBL says that, as the spokesman for the Office here in NWA Florida, he has an announcement to make. This three way tag team match is going to still be that, a three way match, with those two teams in the ring, and a tag team he himself hand picked for the match after speaking with a long time friend of his, and one of the greatest minds in the history of the sport. He says he'd like to introduce that man right now, the man he feels might lead this next team to greatness of the grandest of scales... a man by the name of Lord William Regal!
Out steps William Regal, who gets a big cheer, but the fans seem listless. When is this going to end? What is the payoff here? Regal keeps it short and sweet. Regal says he thinks both teams in that ring are a disgrace to what was once a proud sport, making it little more than gymnastics competition. He says his team are two men worthy of the sport, and worthy of the belts, and they may not be "Rockstars", but they rightfully can be called THE KINGS OF WRESTLING! "K.O.W. (Kings)" by Cody B. Ware can be heard blasting out, and the fans in the know go nuts as out from behind the curtain come Cesaro and Chris Hero, who do their signature pose, getting a big pop and both teams in the ring have eyes wide, and can't believe this announcement.
Hero takes the microphone and says he's seen both teams, heard everything they have to say, and neither he nor Cesaro are impressed. He says the Young Bucks want to wine about being ripped off, but nobody can jack the Kings style, not even guys like JT Dunn, trying to lift his nickname, lift his gimmick, calling himself the "New Knockout Kid", but he's going to find out tonight what a knockout really feels like... and they wrestling world is going to remember one simple truth that stands today like it has in years past, and that is...
"KINGS REIGN SUPREME!"
What an announcement! The announce team can't even believe it, and this whole game just changed in a big way. The Pistols can't be happy to hear about this, as both the Young Bucks and the Kings of Wrestling pose a huge threat to their reign, along with the Juicy Product, who are going to be fighting a much different battle than they anticipated tonight.
Matthews sends the attention to Jeremy Borash in the ring, who is ready to make some introductions.

Kidd and Omega squared off last week, and while Kidd was able to get the submission, Omega got the last laugh with a post match beat down. Tonight, Kidd looked to long time on again, off again partner Gabriel to take on Omega and man he faced off with a number of times in Japan, and now looked to for back up, in the debuting Finn Balor. The Irishman Balor was most recently tearing up the rings of NWA UK, but has come here tonight with a clear mission, and looked to impress and get the win. He and Omega seemed beyond driven to this goal, and would eventually achieve victory after Balor would save Omega from the dreaded Dungeon Lock that finished him last week, coming off the top with a precision Double Stomp to crush Kidd. Balor would follow up with his Bloody Sunday as Omega regained composure and held off Gabriel, getting the pinfall win in his debut.
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Forever Hooligans (Alex Koslov & Rocky Romero)
Forever Hooligans made a very solid debut last week, but that was against Dos Ben Dejos. Tonight, they have a much stiffer challenge in the way of the Motor City Machine Guns. This match was a real treat just from the view point of tandem offense and lightning quick reversals, but the Hooligans were able to make it mean that much more. Forever Hooligans would really get the fans behind the Machine Guns, using their taunting and shady tactics to put it into perspective who the fans should be rooting for. It looked like the Machine Guns might get the win when they delivered Made in Detroit to Rocky Romero, but Koslov would manage to hit a Springboard Splash to Sabin, who was going for the win, to break up the pinfall. Shelley would catch Koslov with a quick Enzuigiri, and then attempted the Sliced Bread #2, but Koslov would reverse it, rolling up Shelley with a Prawn Hold, and he's holding the tights! Forever Hooligans steal the win here, as Shelley protests the referee!
Shelley and Sabin get on the buckles and point and yell at Forever Hooligans, who dance and taunt, and you know these two teams will meet again.

"The One Man Nation" Uhaa Nation vs. "The Unbreakable" Michael Elgin
This is a battle of two bigger, powerful men who are extremely talented. Both men have impressive agility, but Uhaa Nation takes it further, having mastered the Standing Shooting Star Press, and Elgin was sage to try to avoid it, as if Nation hits that, it's sure doom. This was hard hitting, there were back and forth displays of power, butElgin would try to go for an end game, escaping from a Military Press from Nation, landing behind him and blasting him with a Spinning Backfist, followed by a Vertical Suplex into a Side Slam! Elgin called for the end and went for the Revolution Elgin Bomb, but Nation would reverse it with a Hurcanrana out of nowhere! Nation would kick Elgin and lift him up, hitting a Powerbomb of his own... and he holds on and hits another... and he holds on and lifts, trying for a third, but Elgin punches furiously and manages to escape, nailing a Lariat! Elgin calls for the end again, this time grabbing Nation's legs as he is down and deadlifting him up, spinning and nailing the Revolution Elgin Bomb, and it's all over! Michael Elgin gets the big win, and the fans are very satisfied by this display.
Elgin takes a microphone and proclaims that tonight, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho might be vying for a shot at Samoa Joe, but in this territory, the dominate male is Michael Elgin, and he'll be getting his shot one day, and there's nothing anybody can do about it!

The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) vs. reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly)
The rivalry between these two teams goes back years, and now it has come to the Florida region. There have been many great tag teams announced tonight, many who have stepped in the NWA Florida rings, but these two teams are two of the most dangerous and reputed around. Fish and O'Reilly would come into this pushing the action, while the Wolves wanted to bait them in, slow things down, and punish them on the mat. The fans would get behind reDRagon, as they can respect the skill of the Wolves, but didn't like their tactics here tonight, as they kept sowing things down and cutting off the ring, putting a real beating on O'Reilly as Fish reached in, desperately trying to get the tag. Eventually things would break down and things would head to the outside, get a little more dangerous. Edwards would nail a huge Tope to the outside, getting the fans back on the side of the Wolves. Back inside, Richards and Edwards would execute the Force of Nature on O'Reilly, thinking they had the win in hand, but Fish would come off the top with a beautiful Moonsault to break things up, smashing Edwards, who would roll out of the ring. Fish and Richards would have an awesomely stiff striking exchange in the ring, which Richards would come out on top of with a Spinning Roundhouse Kick, but O'Reilly would get back in it with a Jumping Knee strike, followed by some brutal elbows and kicks, staggering Richards before locking on a Guillotine Choke! Richards would rush finally and send O'Relly back first into the buckles before turning and hitting a Northern Lights Suplex into the corner! Richards stumbles up, clearly dazed, and gets caught by a Bobby Fish High Knee! Edwards rushes in from the outside as Fish is trying to position Richards for something, elbowing him to the back and staggering him. Richards gets up Fish on his shoulders and Edwards heads up top, and they attempted nail an Elevated Cutter, but Fish reverses it, shoving off Edwards and hitting a Reverse Huracanrana on Richards! O'Reilly is back in it and he picks up Edwards, and reDRagon proceeds to deliver Chasing the Dragon! O'Reilly thinks he has it, but Richards is able to get past Fish and somehow break up the pin attempt! The fans can't believe it, and reDRagon doesn't give Richards much of a chance to savor it. Fish tries to throw Richards out of the ring, but Richards fights back and then rushes, Handspringing off the ropes and hitting a Double Back Elbow to Fish and O'Reilly! Edwards tosses O'Reilly from the ring, and then heads over to lift up Fish, and they deliver the Force of Nature to Fish! Edwards pins, and Richards is able to stave off O'Reilly this time, and it's all over! The American Wolves win, but just barely! What a match!
"That was Awesome!" chants can be heard, but there is no handshake or show of respect between these two teams. They still hate each other, and that is that. The Wolves come off with a win, but both teams looked great here tonight.

Trent Barreta vs. "King of Flight" Kalisto
Barreta would get himself disqualified last week against Kalisto, smacking him with a chair as he flew from the ring apron, and now Kalisto knew the score and came in more cautious this week. Barreta also hit him with a big finishing piledriver variation on the floor after that match, and Kalisto seemed to favor his neck, and Barreta set it in his sights, targeting it throughout the contest. It's hard to be a luchadore the likes of Kalisto and be cautious, though, and it wasn't working very well to try to stay grounded, as that just played right into Barreta's strategy, and you could feel the frustration welling in the "King of Flight". Eventually, he had to try to break out and hit something big, fast, and dangerous, but Barreta was able to catch him with a High Knee from a Spinning Springboard, knocking him seemingly unconscious. Barreta thought he had it, but Kalisto kicked out, surprising everyone. Barreta would call for the end and attempted a Swinging DDT, but Kalisto would toss him off and hit a quick Huracanrana for a two count. Kalisto would deliver a big Spin Kick to his gut, and then delivered a Salida del Sol, thinking he had it, but Barreta would get his foot on the ropes to break the pin attempt! Kalisto would stay on him, but Barreta would hit a jawbreaker, followed by a clothesline, and then rolled out of the ring. Barreta grabs a chair again, and this time slides into the ring. Barreta measures up Kalisto, shoving the referee away from him and swings for the fences, but Kalisto ducks it and rushes up the buckles and dives backwards, kicking out with his right foot and sending the chair into Barreta's face with a Van Daminator variation, getting a pop from the crowd! The referee hasn't called the match, so Kalisto picks up Barreta and hits the Salida del Sol one more time, and this time he gets the win!
The crowd loves this lucha libre star, and they seem very pleased he was able to out smart the dastardly Trent Barreta here tonight.

Jay Lethal vs. "Bad Influence" Frankie Kazarian
These two have had a rivalry going on since they both debuted weeks ago. Jay Lethal took things further two weeks ago, attacking Kazarian after a match with Daniel Bryan, simultaneously pissing off the World Junior champion. Lethal and Chris Jericho were able to get a win over Kazarian and AJ Styles last week, but tonight, he would have to try to beat Kazarian one-on-one, a feat he has yet to be able to accomplish. Kazarian is a former World Junior champion, and he seemed very driven tonight, but Jay Lethal is very talented and cunning, and seemed to have a better game plan here tonight. Despite his shady tactics, Lethal was able to get the fans behind him by hitting a lot of big moves and showing great agility and stamina, something you just can't help but respect. Lethal would also show some heart, kicking out of a Flux Capacior at one point, but Kazarian knew he wouldn't kick out of the Fade to Black. Lethal would manage to avoid that move, reversing it a couple of times, and while Kazarian would manage to reverse the Lethal Injection the way he did last time, with a Back Stabber mid-move. Lethal would manage to avoid a Swinging Reverse STO, reversing it into a Belly-to-Back Suplex into a Neckbreaker, and then he headed up top. Lethal signals for it, and he comes off the top with his Hail to the King elbowdrop! Lethal hooks the leg, and it's all over! Lethal gets the win clean here, and he's looking stronger than ever now with a big boost of confidence to back up his recent claims to superiority.
North American Title
John Cena (c) vs. Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins
Cena just recently won his championship at Fall Brawl, and now he is looking to be seen as a fighting champion. This would be a very big challenge, as Zayn and Rollins are both dangerous in their own ways, and either man is more than capable of lifting the belt off of Cena. Cena would show spirit, but the fans were not behind him here tonight. The fans were actually pulling for the phenomenally talented Zayn, who would hit the move of the show thus far, diving through the ropes from the floor to the otherside of the floor, catching Rollins with a Swinging DDT! The pop for Zayn was deafening, as the announce team was speechless. Cena would try to capitalize, though, attacking Zayn from behind and hitting him with the FU on the floor, sending him the ring after that and going for the pinfall, but only getting a two count! Cena heads up top, maybe looking for his Diving Leg Drop, but Rollins is back up on the outside and he rushes up to the apron and up the buckles, catching Cena and shoving him off the top, sending him crashing into Zayn. Zayn is knocked out of the ring and Cena is on a knee, holding his head. Rollins springboards in and catches Cena with a knee strike, and it seems like it's over, but Cena kicks out at two! Rollins calls for the end and picks up Cena, nailing him with a Turnbuckle Powerbomb, and he's looking for the Blackout Stomp, but Zayn springboards in and grabs Rollins as he is running, hitting him with the Swinging DDT! Zayn has him down in a pin attempt, and it seems like it is over, but Cena comes to and grabs him by the foot, dragging him off of Rollins and right into the STFU! Rollins rolls out of the ring, obviously not sure where he is, and Zayn has no escape. Sami Zayn taps, and Cena gets the win!
The fans half cheer this, as they would have much rather seen Cena defeat Rollins, but that wasn't to be. Once Rollins realizes what happens, he grabs a chair and heads back into the ring. Rollins hits the celebrating Cena from behind with the chair, and then runs off the ropes, hitting the Blackout Stomp he was looking for earlier! Rollins grabs the North American title belt off of the mat, and holds it in Cena's face as he is down, yelling that he is nothing and that the title means nothing with him holding it, and the age of Rollins is beginning! The fans boo Rollins as he leaves, but he has certainly made a statement.

#1 Contender to the World Tag Team Titles
The Juicy Product (JT Dunn & David Starr) w/ Kimber Lee vs. Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) vs. Kings of Wrestling (Cesaro & Chris Hero) w/ Lord William Regal
The Pistols, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, made their way out prior to this match to do commentary. Matthews would try to be pleasant and asked what they thought about the action here tonight and the teams in this particular match, but of course both men dismissed all of it, calling every team subpar and envious of the Pistols.
This match was so interesting, as you had the Young Bucks, who can fly with the best of them and have so many amazing moves, taking on the Juicy Product, who can high fly but also hit hard, and then the Kings of Wrestling, who are strong, fast, hit hard, and can really do anything. William Regal would play a small factor in this, as he would toss wrestlers into the ring when they fell out if they were facing off with one of the Kings, or he would do little things like pull the ring ropes away from an opponent being stretched, acting like he didn't realize what he was doing. Just little heel tricks that actually would get the Kings positive heat, just because the whole package is so awesome. The Young Bucks can't be competed with when it comes to pure excitement, as these guys are so well choreographed, and have so many jaw dropping moves, you just can't believe what you are seeing. The Juicy Product would do their best to keep up, and they definitely kept up with the spots in the match and showed great heart, kicking out of a number of moves that it didn't seem likely they would. Chris Hero made good on his promise to Dunn earlier, though, ducking a Rolling Elbow from Dunn and catching him with a Cyclone Kill to knock him completely unconscious. The Jacksons would low bridged an on coming Cesaro in the end, sending him to the outside, and would follow up by grabbing David Starr in a Double Suplex, sending his legs onto the shoulders of Chris Hero, then putting him into a Tombstone position, kicking out Hero's legs and causing him to Tombstone Starr in a move that had the announce team marking out, all except the Pistols, who claimed the Young Bucks stole that from them. Hero would then get hit with Early Onset Alzheimer's, sending him out of the ring. They then perform their Crazy Dive sequence, with Nick flying out and landing on both Cesaro and Dunn on the outside. Matt would then springboard, flying in and hitting a 450 Splash on the fallen Starr, and he hooks the leg. The ref and the audience all count to three, and this match is over! Hero was trying to make his way back in to break it up, but he just two seconds short, and you could see the frustration on his face.
After the match, the Pistols would do exactly what you thought they would do and headed into the ring, trying to attack the Young Bucks with their title belts, but the Young Bucks were one step ahead, ducking in stereo and then catching Taven and Bennett with the Early Onset Alzheimer's! Bennett rolls out of the ring, but Taven is in and he gets the brunt of it. Matt picks him up, hitting the Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam, and that just sets off the sequence known as More Bang for Your Buck! The fans are chanting for the Young Bucks like crazy, as they hold up the World Tag Team titles, saying they will be theirs soon before tossing them at Bennett and the ailing Taven on the outside, mocking them and celebrating their win. The Pistols can't feel too good about the prospect of facing the Young Bucks now, and it shows all over their faces.

#1 Contender to World Heavyweight Title
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho
This match had a lot of heat to it and a lot of story, and both men played it up very well. Styles was clearly the man on fire, ready to get justice for the wrong doing imposed on him by Jericho, while Jericho had was looking to show he could still go and he could back up the reasoning behind why he did what he did to AJ Styles at Fall Brawl. The match would start out fast and technically sound, as Styles looked to prove something by out wrestling the highly reputed technician that is Chris Jericho, and this was what fans of WCW wanted to see. These two have had countless classic matches, traded World Heavyweight titles, and with all that has happened, this was about a lot more than a chance at a World Heavyweight title shot. Styles would show he was more than capable of besting Jericho on the mat, and Jericho would take a powder, not wanting any more of that. Styles would feint diving to the outside, before catching himself on the ropes and then flying off the apron onto the retreating Jericho, smashing him with an elbow that sent him into the crowd! From there, Styles runs and leaps like Superman into the crowd, smashing Jericho again! Styles sends Jericho over the railing and then leaps up, trying to fly onto him again, but Jericho shows his poise and catches Styles mid-flight with the Codebreaker! Jericho sends Styles into the ring and goes for the win, but Styles kicks out! Jericho calls for the end and tries to lock on the Liontamer, but Styles manages to kick him away and then Kips Up and hits a Huracanrana! Styles follows up by whipping Jericho, dropping down and then catching him with a big Dropkick, and it's vintage Styles here! Styles goes for the buckles, and he attempts the Asai DDT, but Jericho manages to reverse it and grab Styles, sending him chest first into the buckles and then coming off the ropes with a Bulldog, following up with the Lionsault, but it's only a two count! Jericho grabs up Styles, hitting him with a few forearms to the back and then Double Underhooks him, lifting him and nailing a Backbreaker! He calls for the end, and goes for the Liontamer again, and this time he gets it! Striker puts over just how painful this is, as Jericho leans back into it and bends Styles' neck in the hold. Styles manages to fight it, and nobody can believe how he's doing it, as a lesser man, any other man, would have given in by now as Styles manages to get Jericho off balance. Jericho shifts and starts stomping the back of Styles head, telling him to "GIVE UP!" but Styles keeps fighting for the ropes. Jericho lets go of the hold, and kicks Styles across the face, and he's looking for the Codebreaker now. Styles stumbles up holding his head, and then his back. Styles turns in a daze, and Jericho rushes in. Jericho tries for the Codebreaker, but Styles blocks it, and he sends Jericho down to his back as he continues standing and pulls him in! He tries for the Styles Clash, but Jericho flails and won't let his arms get trapped, eventually crunching up and grabbing Styles head! Styles pulls up Jericho into a Powerbomb, but Jericho reverses it, landing on his feet in front of Styles. Jericho tries for a clothesline, but Styles ducks it. Styles goes for the Pele Kick, but Jericho dodges it, grabbing the referee and pulling him into the kick! The referee is down and the fans are booing Jericho as Styles looks to attack. Jericho motions towards the back as he grabs him.
"What the Hell is this?" asks Josh Matthews.
And it's SETH ROLLINS! What is he doing? Why has Jericho brought him out!? Styles doesn't see him coming up from behind, and Rollins hits Styles from behind with an elbow strike, pulling him around and then delivering a Turnbuckle Powerbomb! Styles falls from the buckles and Rollins runs as the fans are booing and delivers the Blackout Stomp! Jericho is smiling in the corner, watching the decimation like a sick deviant. Rollins stands over the fallen Styles, also smiling, and out to the ring hobbles JOHN CENA! Cena is running, holding his ribs, and he slides in and he and Rollins are trading punches! Rollins swings wild, and Cena ducks, makes the "You Can't See Me" motion and blasts him with a big right hand that sends him out of the ring! Cena is hurt, but he shows he doesn't care, as he grabs the ropes and flies out onto Rollins, coming down on him and blasting him with repeated right hands, and these two brawl to the back!
Jericho manages to stay out of that fray, not wanting to take any undue damage. The question of why Rollins helped him is still up in the air, but more important than that, that attack has left Styles completely vulnerable. The referee has pulled himself up, and Styles is up to a knee, holding his head and face, obviously seeing double. Styles gets to his feet, barely, and Jericho rushes and hits it, the Codebreaker! Jericho hooks the leg, and it's over! The fans are booing the roof off as Jericho gets the three count!
Jericho gets on the buckles, smiling out of the side of his mouth as he looks down at the fallen Styles, and Matthews, voice full of anger and frustration, signs off for the commentary team as Turning Point 2014 comes to an end.
