1. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Match: Delta & Guerrero Maya Jr. defeat Rey Bucanero & Vangellys
The Arena Coliseo Tag Team Champions take the first and third falls in a good match to get the tournament started.
2. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Match: Mephisto & Ephesto defeat Fuego & Stigma
Los Hijos del Averno took this match in straight falls and looked impressive going into the next round.
3. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Match: Máscara Dorada & Dragon Rojo Jr. defeat Euforia & Niebla Roja
The tecnicos took the second and third falls after Roja took the first fall with a cristo faceslam. This was the most competitive match of the first round by far.
4. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Match: Mr. Niebla & Felino defeat Diamante Azul & Stuka Jr.
The rudos capped off the first round by taking the first and third falls with Niebla and Azul having several brutal sequences that screamed for a match in the future.
5. Negro Casas, Shocker & Cavernario defeat Blue Panther, Rey Cometa & Cachorro
The rudos take the second and third falls to get the win as Casas and Panther fought all over the arena. Cavernario and Cometa had several good sequences as well and may see more of each other down the road.
6. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Quarterfinals Match: Mephisto & Ephesto defeat Delta & Guerrero Maya Jr.
Los Hijos del Averno should have earned at least a challenge for the Arena Coliseo Championships if they should fall short in this tournament after taking the first and third falls from Delta and Maya Jr. This was a really good match and showed the growth of the tecnicos.
7. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Quarterfinals Match: Máscara Dorada & Dragon Rojo Jr. defeat Mr. Niebla & Felino
The tecnicos would take the second and third falls in a strong match that would see a great clash of styles as the veteran rudos have worked a mat based style in recent years.
8. Último Guerrero, Rey Hechicero & Gran Guerrero defeat Atlantis, Ángel de Oro & Dragon Lee
One of the better matches in this series as Hechicero and Ángel de Oro set a great tone and pushed each other from a bell to bell. Último Guerrero would rip at the mask of Atlantis at every opportunity but it would be the tecnicos who would lose the third fall by disqualification when Atlantis tossed Último's mask to the crowd.
9. NWA World Tag Team Championships Contenders Tournament Semifinals Match: Máscara Dorada & Dragon Rojo Jr. defeat Mephisto & Ephesto
The tecnicos pull a bit of an upset here as they take the second and third falls of a great main event from the much more experienced team. Mephisto set the tone by destroying Rojo Jr. with Demon Driller to take the first fall. A long second fall ended with Dorada using a springboard shooting star press to keep Ephesto down for the three count. The third fall was the longest and saw each team take control with dives to the outside. Mephisto worked towards another Demon Driller but Dorada would counter into an unbelievable vertebreaker to take the fall and move onto the finals in two weeks.
