Match#1 #1 contender for U.S. Heavyweight Title

Brian Cage defeats Caleb Konnely & Jake Manning w/ Zane Riley

This was good opening match, all three guys left there heart out in the ring. Cage & Manning took turns giving there best shots to Caleb. Caleb took everything, and came back for more. Cage takes Manning head off in the ring with a clothesline. Caleb then tries for a crossbody, but Brian catches him. Cage then hits the weapon X for the win.

Match#2 #1 Contender for the U.S. Tag Team Titles

Speed Kills( Jaxson James & Trevor Lee) defeats The Black Boots Society( Biff Busick & Timothy Thatcher

This was another good match for two young tag teams. Both teams had a chance to shine. The Boots that Lee in there corner for a while. Lee then got to tag James in all hell broke loose. Kills win the match when James hit a clothesline on Thatcher.

Match#3 Mid Atlantic Vs Impact Wrestling

Rich Swann & Shannon Moore & Tessa Blanchard defeats the Juicy Product ( David Starr & JT.Dunn & Kimber Lee)

This was a fun six person match. The Product was just there t shirt said over as fuck. Swann looked like he did not want to team with Moore or be in this match. With the product & Moore & Swann out on the floor left the girls in the ring. Blanchard hit tradition #2 (Belly to Belly Suplex )on Lee for the win.

Match#4 Mid Atlantic Vs Windy City

Sean Waltman defeats Anthony Henry

Waltman & Henry work well together. At every turn they had the crowd on his feet. Henry proves to everybody he belongs on the big stage. Henry hits a textbook release German he goes to the top rope frog splash, Sean knees where up. Sean goes for the X factor , Henry hits back drop. Henry goes for a forearm smash. Sean ducks rolls him up with a his foot on the ropes 1.2.3 Sean Waltman wins the match.

Match#5 Nwa World Tag Team Title Match

Matt Taven & Michael Bennett & Country Jacked ( Adam Page & Corey Hollis) wrestle to a 20 minute draw.

This match proved to be good for teams. Taven & Bennett prove that there winning the world title was no fluke. Country Jacked proved they are one of the best teams in the NWA. The finish comes when all four men took each other's team finish. Bennett & Taven hit in Stereo on Hollis. Page comes along in plow drives Taven. Bennett then spears Page out of his boots. Bennett turns around to be hit with a double knee to the face by Hollis cover 1.2 . Bennett kicks out. All four men get just there feet as the bell rings. Chris Shore tells the crowd that it is a time limit draw.

Matt Hardy Vs The Southern Savior John Skylar

Hardy and Skylar look at each other when bell rang. Hardy rushes Skylar hits a The Thez press followed by punches. Skylar then gets out of the ring. Hardy follows punching all over the outside. Skylar runs into the ring. Hardy followed him in the ring. John catches him with boot to the face. John then drops a knee to the face of Hardy. He then Irish whips Hardy, then hits a spine buster. He covers for a near fall. Skylar picks up Hardy for the Saving Grace DDT. Hardy counters with a back drop. Hardy then hits a inverted atomic drop, with a clothesline. Hardy goes to the top rope for a moonsault, but John moves out of the way. John then hits a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. John then looks at the ref. John then Irish whips Hardy to the corner. John rushes him, Hardy moves out of the way. Hardy then hits the twist of fate. The ref counted 1..2.. The ref was pulled out of the ring a man in a mask. Hardy then goes out to face the man. Hardy chased him, only to get jumped on by Skylar. Jeff Hardy comes down to run off the mask man. John throws Hardy back in the ring. Skylar climbs to the top rope. Hardy climbs the rope to meet him. Hardy then hits a Super Plex. Another masked comes from the crowd . He get to the apron when Hardy meets him with a fist. Hardy turns right into the Saving Grace DDT. Skylar wins 1.2.3. Skylar wins over Hardy, but it took two men plus him to do it.

Match#7 Main Event Nwa World Heavyweight Championship

Samoa Joe(c) defeats U.S. Heavyweight Champion Cedric Alexander

Joe and Alexander did good to keep the crowd into after two good match. Alexander gets two near falls with a Frog Splash, and a brainbuster. Joe gets a near fall with a muscle buster. Joe wins the match after hitting three muscle buster.

I think three Muscle Busters might have been a little excessive for the finish. I'd have probably went with a Cedric Alexander no sell on the second one, doing the fighting spirit thing, only to get hit with like a stiff Spinning Backfist/Chop or some kind of kick or knee to knock him out, or had Joe go for one of his other finishers, but that's just me. I think that just kind of makes the finisher look pretty weak, when it's been built up very well everywhere else. Alexander comes off looking strong, in any event, so that's good. I'd like to see a match between those two, for sure. I'm not sure I'm too huge on having two masked men come out for interference in one match. That seems like some serious overbooking, but hopefully there was a purpose there. Country Jacked look strong with a time limit draw, that's pretty good stuff. Surprised there weren't any "five more minutes" chants, as that seemed like it might have been a nice opportunity to have Dusty Rhodes come out and get face time by granting the fans their wishes, only to have them draw out again, but that's just a classic move. Your way works well, but with this territory being so old school, that could have been a good chance to give the fans some "American Dream" time. I was glad to see Jake Manning get some TV time.

Yeah, I have to agree on the main event. I think a better route for somebody like Cedric is him going on offense after a comeback, almost beating Joe with several near falls, Joe hits a muscle buster out of nowhere to win. Somebody taking 3 muscle busters like that is a finish that really requires a pretty detailed write up, if at all. I don't know if it makes the finisher look weak because it could read as Joe does it once, Cedric kicks out, then Joe just does it 3 more times in succession without trying a cover in there. At least that's what I took it as. Definitely excessive though.

Hardy vs Skyler, I will reserve judgment on the 2 masked men idea until the pay off. As for the match, it does what it should have, gives Skyler a big win over an established name. I don't know if it has the legs to go on, which would suck because it had the ability to get several matches out of them when it started. But you also may be adding a twist with the 2 masked men, presumably turning on Hardy if they're masked, so that could give it the new life it needs right now to get another match.

The tag team match was good. A draw is essentially a win for Country Jacked as it establishes them on that level. They are doing pretty well right now, hopefully you get them the right contenders for the future.

Booking Sean Waltman to go over Anthony Henry is a bit confusing. You said you were looking to get Henry into the title picture for Starrcade, but then effectively put over one of his 2 biggest competitors right now. If Waltman goes over Henry again in Windy City's #1 contender match on their Fight Night, dude's pretty much done for right now. I actually think this back and forth trading of wins here and the tag match you did is working to the benefit of Chase Owens, but we'll see. With Jay Lethal seemingly out of the picture, floor is wide open as they say.

I found it funny in the Juicy Product match, you devoted about a fifth of the write up to just describing their t-shirt lol.

Opener was also worth mentioning. Cage is coming along nicely. The match with him vs Cedric is set, and presumably now he steps up to the next level.
