1. CMLL World Minis Championship Match: Pequeño Olímpico vs. Eléctrico vs. Demus 3:16 vs. Astral
Great opener with more than its share of highlights from the tecnicos. Eléctrico and Demus had some amazing sequences and dominated the action at points. Astral showed some great growth through 2014 and it was on display here. Olímpico was as solid as usual but is beginning to slow down as he nears 50 as expected and it became somewhat expected that he was going to drop the Championship in this match. Things began to breakdown as the match neared its conclusion with Demus trying to take advantage of Olímpico and scoring a near fall. Eléctrico and Astral would have the best sequence of the match late as they traded counters and reversals to showcase their athleticism. The finish came with Olímpico catching Astral with a spinning back breaker counter and going for a moonsault while Eléctrico would crash and burn attempting a tope con giro to Demus on the outside of the ring. Demus would catch the Champion on the turnbuckles from the apron and then hit a devastating Valagueza (Muscle Buster) on the apron before dumping Olímpico through the ropes. A slingshot senton later and Astral being just a moment late breaking up the pin and Demus is the new CMLL Minis Champion.
2. Copa 81st Anniversario Cibernetico Match: Marcela, Estrellita, Princesa Sugehit, Goya Kong & Silueta vs. Amapola, Tiffany, Lluvia, Zeuxis & La Comandante
A good match that did a tremendous job of showcasing the talents of the women involved. Everyone gets the once go around before the first elimination comes a little after the six minute mark. In a big way to start the match, Goya Kong eliminated Comandante, hitting an unimaginable Goya Bomb on the 5'9" ruda. Zeuxis would eliminate Silueta next with a German suplex hold, followed shortly by Amapola taking out Sugehit with a backcracker. Lluvia would be the next to go thanks to a Michinoku Driver from Marcela and the field would be cut in half after Estrellita ended Tiffany's night with La Tapatia. Zeuxis would be the last ruda left after Goya Kong beat Amapola with La Nudo Lagunera. Things looked bad for Zeuxis with three tecnicas across the ring but things took a drastic turn when Goya Kong tagged in Marcela and then leveled her with a clothesline from behind. Goya Kong then destroyed Marcela with the Goya Bomb and left a shocked Zeuxis to make the uneasy cover. Estrellita seemed just as surprised as the crowd and there was a bit of a standoff before Estrellita and Zeuxis locked up to continue to the match. Estrellita would eliminate Zeuxis with The Star Cross but barely had time to get off the mat before Goya Kong grabbed her by that hair and began tossing her around the ring. Estrellita would fight back though and seemed to be gaining control until Goya Kong embraced her ruda ways and began choking Estrellita on the bottom rope following a running hip attack. Estrellita would battle back apace more though and had the advantage when Goya Kong reversed a hurricanrana into a Goya Bomb for the victory. Goya Kong was presented with a beautiful trophy and when asked about the match she ignored the question and challenged Estrellita to a match for the Mexican National Women's Championship.
3. Caballero vs. Caballero Match: Rey Cometa vs. Cavernario
The first of three big stipulation matches on the night and this one set the bar fairly high as both young men could use this match as a stepping stone for sure. Cometa set the tone for the match with an awesome moonsault from the entrance set but Cavernario would take the first fall after a crucifix powerbomb into the turnbuckle and a springboard splash. The second fall would feature more dives from Cometa and a fair amount of brawling outside the ring. Cavernario got in some high impact offense but Cometa would even the falls with a 450 splash. Cavernario would take control of the third fall after an amazing suicide dive from the apron. Cometa would counter later with a hurricanrana from the top rope and score a string of near falls until Cavernario would catch Cometa and hit a cradle belly to belly suplex. Cometa would catch Cavernario with a dropkick, sending him to the floor and following up with a corkscrew plancha. Cometa would follow up with a Spanish Fly but Cavernario rolled his should at the last possible minute. Cavernario would counter Cometa once more and hit another crucifix powerbomb into the turnbuckle. Cavernario then tossed Cometa to the floor and hit a huge splash from the turnbuckle that caused both men to struggle to beat the count back into the ring. Once in the ring, Cavernario pummeled Cometa before locking in the Cavernaria for the biggest win of his career thus far. Cometa cut his own ponytail before handing the scissors to Cavernario, who cut a few souvenir locks that he showed the crowd. Cometa was crying as his head was then shaved in the center of the ring by a local barber while Cavernario celebrated on the entrance set.
4. Copa Memorial de Paco Alonso Cibernetico Match: Volador Jr., Máscara Dorada, Dragon Rojo Jr., Diamante Azul, Ángel de Oro & Titán vs. Shocker, La Sombra, Mr. Niebla, Felino, La Máscara & Rey Bucanero
Sombra & Máscara were placed on the rudo side to even things out as expected but they have been tagging with tecnicos up to this point so that had the potential to play into the match. Everyone took a turn in the ring before the match picked up and eliminations started happening. Ángel de Oro would strike first by eliminating Máscara with La Mecedora and the tecnicos would take a commanding lead when Titán followed up his great CMLL Universal Tournament by pinning Felino with the Titanics. The rudos would battle back though with consecutive eliminations of their own, Shocker using La Reienera on Dragon Rojo Jr. and Sombra taking out Ángel de Oro with a corkscrew splash. Volador Jr. would end Shocker's night with the Ataque Depredador before Niebla would use La Nieblina to eliminate Titán. Bucanero continued his good showing by eliminating Máscara Dorada with the Bucanero Driver as the match began to slow down. Diamante Azul and Mr. Niebla would have a strong battle that featured their more heavyweight styles until Azul used El Escudo to even the match once more. It was then Sombra and Volador Jr.'s turn to showcase their longstanding feud which has become one-sided as of late as a split-legged corkscrew senton sent Volador to the back. Sombra then scored the first back to back eliminations as he caught Azul with the Brillante Driver to end the tecnicos night. Some though Sombra had won the match before Bucanero attacked him from behind. No one expected Rey to still be in this match and he struggled to hold his own against Sombra before catching him with a face plant as a reversal to a leg scissors setup for a bulldog. Bucanero then transitioned perfectly into the Bucanero Storm and Sombra rolled his shoulder just a moment late to give Bucanero the improbable win. Bucanero was presented with a huge trophy by Francisco "Paco" Alonso as well as a check for 100,000 pesos. Alonso thanked Bucanero for his 23 year career, noting that it has been spent exclusively in CMLL, and admitted that he had known Bucanero since the mid-80's when Bucanero would help out backstage and run errands for the company. This revelation makes the Bucanero win an expected outcome to a match meant to honor Alonso, who continues to hold grudges against wrestlers who have left CMLL in the past, and held on the last event he helped oversee. Bucanero kept to his rudo ways though, belittling the fans and promising Texano Jr. His winnings if he stabbed Rush in the back and rejoined he and Terrible tonight.
5. Career vs. Career Match: Negro Casas vs. Blue Panther
This was worthy of a main event and lived up to that hype and more with the added emotion of both competitors and the crowd. There was an uneasy silence that fell over the crowd as the bell rung and the tension filled the arena when Casas offered a handshake. Panther was hesitant but finally agreed and the crowd roared as the two men shook hands before locking up for the first time. The first fall was insanely long, close to twenty minutes, and featured a very late-80's style and a ton of matwork. The crowd seemed to eat it up for the first half of the fall and the veterans started picking up the near falls as the crowd began to wain a bit. Panther would eventually catch Casas with a double underhook back breaker and transitioned perfectly into El Nudo Lagunero. Casas quickly stretched for the ropes and once he realized he couldn't get there he immediately tapped out. Panther looked absolutely gassed after the first fall and it was clear that Casas had submitted quickly to save himself for the remainder of the match. The second fall was the exact opposite of the first though, barely lasting three minutes before Casas countered Panther with La Casita and evened the match at a fall apiece. The third fall was another long one and had the crowd on the edge of their seats with each slap of the mat from the referee. The seconds would finally get involved as well and that turned into a ringside brawl between Cachorro and Tiger. The brawl gave Panther & Casas a much needed rest and ended with Cachorro and Tiger battling up the entrance way. Casas would survive El Nudo Lagunero and Panther would kick out of La Casita, leaving everyone to wonder what each man had left up their sleeve. The end came when Casas avoided a Panther clothesline with the Black Fantasy and then drilled him with the Patada a la Rodilla. Casas was quick to follow up with an ankle lock but Panther refused to submit. Eventually Casas transitioned the ankle lock into the Black Pain and then grabbed Panther for the Scorpion Deathlock. Panther fought the hold for several minutes before simply passing out from the pain as the fans continued to cheer him on. People could be seen visibly crying as the result was announced and Casas was unusually uncelebratory. Cachorro, Black Panther & Black Warrior all came to Blue Panther's aide while Felino, Puma King & Tiger did the same for Casas. Both men laid or sat on the mat for several minutes before Panther took the time to wave to the fans and then was give a microphone. Panther thanked the fans for their support over the last 35 years and hoped they would support his sons in the same way. Panther thanked Casas for a great match and shook his hand before leaving the ring. Casas then picked up the microphone and instead of his usual cocky demeanor, he thanked Panther for a great match and announced that he would be retiring at the end of the year. Everyone seemed shocked by this impromptu announcement but no one more than Felino. Casas added that he had also spent the last 35 years of his life wrestling and although he wasn't sure when the last match would happen exactly, he wanted his last match in Arena Mexico to be this one because of how much he respected Blue Panther. Casas and Felino seemed to be having an argument as they left the ring.
6. NWA World Tag Team Championships Match: Rush & Texano Jr. vs. Terrible & Rey Escorpión
Nothing has been announced officially but this match symbolically confirmed the return of the National Wrestling Alliance to Mexico and with such a big match to follow it was a good thing that this match involved these four men. The match largely surrounded two storylines, those being the past relationship between Texano & Terrible and the longstanding feud between Reush and Terrible. This was a great match as all four men played to their strengths and the storytelling was flawless, namely the refusal to lock up between Terrible and Texano the first few times they were both in the ring. And the maliciousness of the attacks between Rush and Terrible. Escorpión can't be left out as his selling made the Champions look like heroes and his offense left the crowd enraged. Texano had refused to touch Terrible but eventually was forced to break up a pin and the roof came off the house once Terrible retaliated. The end would come when Rush caught Escorpión with the Martillo Negro while Terrible and Texano battled at ringside. Tons of questions after this match as you have to wonder how long Rush & Texano will remain NWA World Tag Team Champions, will Terrible and Texano continue and where will this leave the Rush and Terrible feud.
7. Mascara vs. Mascara Match: Atlantis vs. Último Guerrero
The main event capped off a great night of wrestling in the best way. Atlantis and Último Guerrero didn't shake hands before the match and barely waited for the bell to ring before attacking one another. It was clear that neither man had any respect for the other and neither man could gain an advantage either. The first fall lasted nearly ten minutes before Atlantis took the all important first fall with La Atlantida. Guerrero simply took it to another gear in the second fall, ripping at the mask of Atlantis at every opportunity. Atlantis battled back but Guerrero would not be denied and executed a perfect Guerrero Special as the match neared the eighteen minute mark to even the falls. Both men kneeled exhausted in opposite corners as the bell for the third fall rang and as they slowly rose to their feet as did the crowd. The third fall is exhausting for everyone in the arena as both men struggle to their feet after nearly every sequence. Eventually Guerreo is able to catch Atlantis with the Guerrero Special II but Atlantis struggles for ropes at the urging of the crowd. Atlantis grabs the bottom rope and out of frustration Guerrero rips at his mask mercilessly. Atlantis survives the onslaught and minutes later counters Guerrero with La Atlantida, leaving the crowd to urge Guerrero to wriggle free. Guerrero eventually slips off the shoulders of Atlantis but he seems to be broken in half. Atlantis is now beside himself and tears at the mask of Guerrero to cheers of the crowd. Guerrero would be the next to strike though as he countered Atlantis with the Gory Invertida but could only hold him down for a tow count. Guerrero then went for the time tested Guerrero Special but Atlantis battled back on the top turnbuckle. Guerrero would eventually muscle Atlantis up and connected with the Guerrero Special but somehow Atlantis rolled his shoulder at the last possible moment to the roar of the crowd. Guerrero slapped the mat in frustration and then dragged Atlantis back to the corner. Atlantis was nearly dead weight as Guerrero struggled to connect with another Guerrero Special. This time Guerrero skipped the pin though and struggled to climb the turnbuckles in order to flatten Atlantis with a moonsault. As the referee slapped the mat three times there was a simultaneous groan and cheer from the crowd. Guerrero celebrated on each turnbuckle as Atlantis sat in the center of the ring with his head in his hands. Eventually Atlantis started to untie his mask as Guerrero stood and watched. Atlantis slowly slips the mask off and rises to his feet. Atlantis stares into the crowd with tears in his eyes before he hands his mask to Guerrero and the two men shake hands to end the show.
