Please enjoy some of my favorite matches from the Independent Union, and soon I'll be putting out new content in the continuing saga of the Independent Union!


INDEPENDENT CROWN MATCH
Black Ninja vs. Overdose

As long as there has been an Independent Union these two men have been at war. Black Ninja represents the heart of the Independent Union, he's the poster boy for the promotion while Overdose is the enbodiment of evil. Overdose showed off his black belt in karate, but Black Ninja is full of suprises as he hit avoided kicks from Overdose and cartwheeled away only to rebound of the ropes scoring with a back elbow, coming off the ropes soon after with a lionsault for a near fall. Overdose was shocked by the ferocity of his long time enemy but quickly shook it off as he drug the match into his realm crawling out of the ring, where Ninja would follow, only to take a chair to the midsection. Overdose loves to inflict pain pulling out a roll of barbed wire that was being saved for the deathmatch main event. Overdose would unroll the barbed wire stomping on Black Ninja a few times keeping him down before throwing the roll into the ring as it unraveled. Overdose would follow the roll into the ring stringing it around like hell's christmas lights making the ring a death trap. Black Ninja was a bit hurt from the exchange on the outside, trying to get in the ring only to have Overdose cut him off hitting a suspension DDT into the ring and onto some of the wire! Black Ninja was able to kick out but barely as Overdose looked completely in control of the aerial ace! Overdose used knee drops on Black Ninja over and over and over! Black Ninja looked to be doomed but was able to slip away and explode with a leaping side kick! Black Ninja looked to get fired up, picking up and nailing Overdose with his Shuriken bomb(Fire Thunder bomb)! Overdose was able to kick out and Black Ninja tried to powerbomb him again but Overdose was able to spin around and almost kill Ninja with a reverse hurrincanrana! It was Ninja's turn to shock as he kicked out after a two count! The match continued with both men looking worn out and Overdose tried to use Poison mist but Black Ninja kicked him under the jaw forcing Overdose's mist to spray harmlessly in the air, Overdose tried to catch Black Ninja a few moments later with the 720 DDT but Ninja caught him with a roundhouse kick putting Overdose down hard, before Ninja snapped off another Shuriken bomb this one would give him the win.

DEATHMATCH TITLE MATCH
"Strong Style" Specter vs. Claw(c)

There can't be many things more intimidating than looking across the ring towards the 450lbs. Deathmatch champion, Claw. Specter looked ready for battle with taped fists, that he dipped in glue then coated in shards of broken glass. The bell sounded and Specter moved in showing off his MMA background, throwing punches and kicks to the thighs of the massive Claw. Blood would trickle from the spots that Specter made contact with his taipei gauntlets, but Claw would simply shove Specter to the mat, letting him get back up to take another shot at him. Claw would apply the submission hold that shares his name, squeezing the temples off his challenger who tried like a fly in a web to escape, Claw no sold every strike of desperation from Specter making the outlook for this match to go the distance bleak until Specter out of sheer desperation kicked Claw hard in the crotch, dropping even the mammoth in the mask. Specter would scurry out of the ring tossing a pouch into a corner before reaching under the ring and pulling out a pair of light tubes. Claw was just starting to get to his feet when Specter smashed the tubes against the sides of Claws head in a clapping motion, sending shards of glass and smoke through the air. Claw was still on a knee as Specter came off the ropes hitting a yakuza kick but he wasn't able to drop the giant any further. Specter looked to desperate as he spilled the contents from the pouch on the mat revealing glistening Kenzans putting one spikes down on the head of Claw, using a steel chair shot to drive the spikes through the mask of Claw. Specter has a look of horror on his face as Claw with the tenzan stuck in his head got back to a vertical base, his turn to inflict some punishment! Specter tried to take another shot at Claw with the chair but Claw would punch the chair into the face of Specter before picking him up and delivering a side slam onto the tenzans that remained on the mat forcing Specter to contort in pain. Claw would stand on the chest of Specter forcing the air out of his lungs with Claws sheer weight. Claw would call for a ring crew member to bring him something, that something is a bucket of salt that Claw would pour onto the wounds of Specter, making the MMA warrior shriek in pain. Claw is a creature from nightmares as he continued to punish his opponent, reminscent of a slasher flick silent killer. Specter didn't have much fight left as he was covered in blood and salt, trying to just survive the match as Claw decided to end it by grasping the temples of Specter again with his vicious claw hold, slamming Specter to the mat for the ref's three count.

INDEPENDENT CROWN MATCH
Black Ninja(c) vs. Scourge w/ Heretic & Black Widow

At the last event, Black Ninja defended his championship against Heretic, this time he'd face off against his partner. Heretic is the thinker and the quieter member of his team, where as Scourge is out of his mind. Scourge took a swing at a fan at ringside prior to the match and tried to force a kiss on a female fan, but security was all over it, with Scourge enjoying his own brand of anarchy. Black Ninja is by far the biggest fan favorite in the Union and everyone wanted to see the hero put away the bastard. Scourge has an erratic in ring style to match his antics out of the ring, and relies on his brawling ability. Black Ninja recieved a hellish beating from Scourge, compounded by the fact that Black Widow was at ringside, and when she's around she makes sure you know it. Scourge would put Ninja down in the corner hitting a few boot scrapes, but while Scourge would go to the other corner to get a running start on a big kick, Black Widow would try to unfasten Ninja's mask! Black Ninja was so intent on keeping his mask on that Scourge was able to score with a huge kick, so huge in fact it almost gained him the victory. The match contined how ever, due to the amazing will of the Independent champion. Scourge took a shuriken bomb from Ninja but was able to kick out, rolling out of the ring to catch a breath. Ninja wouldn't allow it however soaring and scoring with a spaceman plancha that took out everyone at ringside! Black Ninja would follow up hopping on the apron and hitting a leaping side kick on Scourge as soon as he got to his feet. Black Ninja does a great job on the outside, but Scourge is the master of the street fight, and was able to use it to his advantage! Scourge and his allies were able to gang up on the champ with Heretic and Scourge hitting total elimination. Scourge was stunned when he rolled Ninja back into the ring for only a two count, this allowed Ninja to hit a second shuriken bomb, following up with a lionsault for the three count!

The lights turn purple as Overdose makes his way out to the ring, Black Ninja pulls himself to his feet with the ropes preparing himself for war! The crowd watches on as Overdose climbs into the ring and after a stare down, Overdose spews BLACK mist in the eyes of the champion! Black Ninja cries out in pain as he clutches his face, as Overdose calmly walks away as EMT's attend to the champion.

DEATH MATCH
Jaguar vs. Dragon King

The fans would bring the weapons for this match! That was until Jaguar walked out with a bottle of lighter fluid and announced that for this match to end, one of them would have to be put through a flaming table! Dragon King still looked hesitant in the opening of this match trying to just throw basic wrestling holds, no strikes. King tried to talk Jaguar out of the fight again but Jaguar would give King a hard shot to the chin. King staggered into the ropes and Jaguar continued to attack DK with knees and clubbing blows in the ropes. Jaguar would get a broom from a fan at ringside snapping it in half and using the sharp end to gouge and attack the midsection of DK. Jaguar used his tiger driver 98 finisher but instead of trying to get the table prepared, Jag would collect weapons from the crowd, tossing them in the ring making it look like a garbage dump. Dragon King finally started to fight back knowing that his life may depend on it, shocking Jaguar with chops and kicks, coming at Jag with a computer keyboard shattering it over his skull. The atmosphere changed as the Dragon King finally started to show why he is indeed a King. DK would roar "I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS!" before hitting a dragon suplex onto a chair, trying for the pin but the ref would remind DK that he has to put Jaguar through a flaming table! You could see that DK was conflicted, still not ready to go to that extreme. Dragon King instead put on a leg lock variation pleading with Jaguar to just end the match! Jaguar would scream in agony but reach out and grab a kendo stick beating it over the skull of Dragon King repeatedly until the stick was splintered to hell. Welts immediatly formed on the exposed flesh of DK where the stick made contact as Jaguar would bring the table and lighter fluid into the ring. Jaguar nailed another neck jarring Tiger Driver on DK, giving him time to light the table on fire! Jaguar looked at the flames in a bit of a blood lust trance, not realizing that Dragon King had gotten up with a chair, leaning against the ropes for support. Jaguar would turn into a chairshot from hell, Dragon with tears in his eyes would yell "I'M SORRY" before hitting a powerbomb on Jaguar through the table as ringside crew members would rush in to put Jaguar out. Dragon King would drop to his knees in physical and emotional exhaustion as EMT's would bring out a stretcher to take Jaguar away as DK would try to follow to make sure Jaguar was going to be ok.

GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD MATCH
Mizuchi vs. Thunder Horse vs. Abispa vs. Shaolin vs. Scourge vs. Jaguar

Mizuchi and Thunder Horse are new to the Independent Union so they were the first two men in the ring, when one of them is eliminated another member of the match will come out until only one man is left standing. "The Beast from the Bottom of the Sea" Mizuchi is very unique, squatting a bit to keep a center of balance to allow him to get more control with kicks. His head darting around like a bird, or fish scanning for a predator. Thunder Horse was in his element here in IU, hailing from Canada, he grew up studying japanese wrestling. Thunder Horse was an avid tape trader as a child, training for the chance to compete finally here in the Independent Union. These two guys put on an incredible match, it may not have been the smartest move as they left everything in the ring against each other. Mizuchi took a tombstone piledriver from TH and almost got the win, but Mizuchi wasn't going down without a serious fight. Mizuchi was able to hit a cartwheel into a jumping enziguri, trying for the ocean cyclone suplex but Thunder Horse would roll through holding Mizuchi down long enough to get the pin. Thunder Horse looked exhausted, and Abispa would slide into the ring immediatly battering TH!

Abispa tried for the quick win slapping on the anaconda vice, but Thunder was able to get to the ropes to get the break. Thunder Horse would fight off Abispa with chops and kicks trying to get himself back into the match but Abispa would cut him off. Abispa snapped off a butterfly suplex, following up with a buffalo sleeper but TH was able to fight free. Thunder Horse scored with another tombstone piledriver but couldn't put Abispa away with it either, TH tried to follow up with the canadian cloverleaf but Abispa was able to get to the ropes. Abispa went for a clothesline but TH would duck and hit a brutal hooking clothesline to the back of Abispa's head. TH would pick up and spike Abispa with another tombstone eliminating him from the match.

Thunder Horse was dripping with sweat having competed already for almost 45 minutes. Jaguar entered the ring and Thunder Horse tried his best not to, but got roped into chain wrestling with Jaguar who was trying to gas out TH even further. Jaguar would not only win the exchange but follow up with a standing moonsault driving his knees into the chest of Thunder Horse brutally. Jaguar looked in firm control as he went for a moonsault off the top rope but Thunder Horse would put his knees up fighting for his life, trying to apply the cloverleaf on Jaguar who would fight out and after an exchange of holds Jaguar would drop TH violently with the Tiger Driver 98!

Shaolin entered the match cautiously as Jaguar was still pumped from putting down Thunder Horse, but you could tell that TH did take a toll on Jag during the encounter. Shaolin would pick apart Jaguar with low kicks and overhand chops, Shaolin is so methodical in his approach, wresling with quiet intensity. Jaguar went for a few kicks that Shaolin would counter with a leg whip causing Jaguar to rethink things, Shaolin tried to walk the ropes but Jaguar would rip him down and plant him with a quick belly to belly suplex. Shaolin looked to be in pain as Jaguar would continue his attack by stepping on and twisting his boot into the face of Shaolin. Jaguar wanted to finish off the match with the Tiger Driver but Shaolin would back drop his way out of it putting the heavenly lock on Jaguar in the middle of the ring forcing Jag to submit to the painful hold.

The final competitor was Scourge, and he was pumped for this one. Earlier in the night his friend and ally Heretic was eliminated from the tournament to find the next IU champion. Now was his chance to bring some gold home to DoA! Scourge loves to rush and his fighting style is so erratic, if he actually got focused he'd be scary dangerous. Shaolin was still suffering from the battle with Jaguar but wasn't going to go down easily. Black Heart would again make his appearance at the top of the entry way watching on as Scourge would rake the eyes of Shaolin. Scourge would flash a sadistic grin enjoying putting Shaolin through hell, as the Jr title would hang in the balance. The man to get the next pinfall or submission would become the first ever IU jr. champion, with so much at stake blood was eventually spilling down the face of both men. Scourge enjoyed mutilating Shaolin to the point that he wouldn't go for the pin, but instead inflict more punishment as the ring announcers pleased that the ref end the match mercifully. Shaolin would shock the world as he rolled up and stacked up Scourge just long enough to get the three as he'd shoot out of the ring as Scourge stomped around the ring livid. Scourge would go onto throw the ref out of the ring attacking anyone that tried to get him out of the ring as the show ended.

TAG TEAM MATCH
BLUNDERBUSS(Ryozo & MINORI) vs. DoA(Heretic & Scourge) w/ Black Widow

BLUNDERBUSS have been teaming around the Japanese Independents for a few years now, so they know each other pretty well. DoA have become a lot more cohesieve as a unit since Black Heart has been a factor. Their new mentor was no where to be seen for this match, but Black Widow was there to help her team. Ryozo started the match off for his team against Scourge, with Heretic feeding him words of encouragement from their corner. Scouge is a blood thirsty anarchist, aside from Heretic he doesn't give a damn about human life. The ref would have to repremand Scourge threatening to DQ him after he tried to take a chunk out of Ryozo's arm leaving teeth marks! Ryozo looked pissed, usually showing no emotion, but the bite actually pissed him off! Ryozo would nail a combination of roundhouse kicks, a spinning backfist followed up by an exploder suplex before hopping up and giving Heretic a piece of his mind! Ryozo took his eye off of Scourge a little to long and Scourge came literally roaring back with a knee to the gut before windmill punching Ryozo in the back violently, you could hear his fists smacking off the flesh of Ryozo! Scourge would fish hook the mouth of Ryozo putting a foot in his back as he gouged at the face of his opponent. MINORI would try to get involved but it only allowed for Black Widow to skitter onto the apron and apply the tarantula on Ryozo, opening him up to a dropkick from Scourge that almost got DoA the victory! Ryozo looked in bad shape but was able to dig deep hitting a springboard thrust kick on Scourge sending the punk rolling out of the ring through the ropes, giving him the chance to tag out! Heretic attended to Scourge on the outside to make sure he didn't get seriously hurt but this just gave MINORI the chance to get a running start with a suicide dive through the ropes! MINORI would face wash Scourge against theguard rail at ringside brutally, before turning his attention to Heretic who would back pedal and buy time for Black Widow to roundhouse kick MINORI in the back of the head! This is the point that Black Heart would step out in his black shades and suit, actually coming to the ring! MINORI had the heart of a lion trying to fight back against DoA on the outside one on two, this was until Ryozo took to the sky with a moonsault off the top rope to the outside! Black Heart would stand over what looked like a car wreck on the outside, watching as Heretic and Scourge finally realized their mentor was watching. Black Widow would destract the ref as Black Heart would snap off a yakuza kick on MINORI! Black Heart would throw MINORI back in the ring and help up Heretic sending him back into the ring where he could finish off BLUNDERBUSS with the schwein for the extremely hard fought win.

SINGLES BOUT
The Claw vs. Black Ninja

If you could see under the mask of Ninja I'm sure you'd see shocked surprise as the extreme monster Claw made his return to the Union. Black Ninja would dive out of the ring with a flip senton onto Claw but was caught in the air, Claw would run and throw Ninja into the apron following up with heavy hands. Claw tried to hit a running boot that would have crushed the skull of Ninja, but Black Ninja would move out of the way at the last second. Black Ninja used his speed to keep himself in the match hitting a dropkick through the ropes staggering Claw, Black Ninja dived over the ropes again this time putting Claw down. Black Ninja got back into the ring playing to the crowd as he waited for Claw to get back into the ring. Ninja went for a leaping spinning wheel kick only to have Claw catch and powerbomb him to the mat. Claw is just so powerful as he grabbed Ninja in a claw hold pulling Ninja up by his face but Ninja would fight back hard kicking Claw in the face stiffly actually getting Claw to let go of his grip. Ninja would scoop out the legs of Claw with a rough looking school boy for barely a two count. Claw is so scary that it's a fight for your life anytime you're in the ring with him. Claw doesn't really feel pain like a human being should and he just keeps coming in horror film fashion. Black Ninja went for a springboard back elbow but Claw would catch him and batter him with headbutts before slamming Ninja to the mat with a release german suplex that looked like it could have killed his opponent. Claw went for the pin but Black Ninja was some how able to kick out and Claw tried to slam him back down for another pin but again only got a two count! Claw was furious, actually showing some emotion. Black Ninja would hit kicks and knife edge chops on Claw staggering the beast before hitting a leaping wheel kick falling the massive monster. Ninja would come off the top with a twisting moonsault for a two count before Claw would press him off nearly throwing Ninja through the ropes. Claw would sit up undertaker style and come at Ninja looking to punish the hero for coming so close to winning the match. Claw would batter Ninja with heavy hands knocking Ninja to a knee where Claw would apply a nerve hold, keeping Ninja in place to deliver headbutts until Ninja looked to be knocked out. Claw tried to go for another claw hold but Ninja would avoid the hold and out of desperation would flip the massive Claw falling down in exhaustion as the ref started to count both men out. Claw would sit up again getting to his feet quickly as Ninja had to use the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Claw would hit a short arm clothesline, holding on trying for another but Ninja would duck the attack and dropkick Claw into the corner where Ninja would follow up with a cartwheel leaping enziguri that hit with such force you could hear the pop of Ninja's leg against the skull of Claw dropping the monster sickeningly as Black Ninja had to hobble up the ropes a bit doing some damage to himself with the kick as he came off the top with another twisting moonsault this time it was for the victory. The Black Ninja continues to rack up victories as he works his way towards an eventual bout with the man that nearly ended his career, Overdose. The Warlock of Wrestling can't be happy with the end of tonight's main event. But for now the heroes have something to celebrate as the Independent Union closes another chapter of this ongoing story.

INDEPENDENT CROWN BOUT
Hannibal vs. Black Heart(c) w/ Black Widow

Saying this match had big fight atmosphere was an understatement as the entire Union was riding on the shoulders of "The Aerial Ace" Hannibal! Black Heart was stunned when Hannibal ducked an early attempt at the spinning back chop following up with a pele kick that truely staggered the champion! The crowd was electric as Hannibal fed off the crowd and delivered a beating to the general of the Black Army! This night has been hell but if Hannibal could pull off the victory it would absolutely tip the scales in favor of the Independent Union! Hannibal actually hit a leaping back kick that floored the champion before ascending the ropes looking for the Fire Bird Splash but Black Widow would shove him off the top rope! Black Heart tried for the spinning back chop to Hannibal again but Hannibal would "matrix" the attempt with a beautiful bridge, but with the quickness of a cobra Black Heart would strike out with an axe kick knocking the wind out of Hannibal! The hopes of the entire Union looked grim as Hannibal tried to get to his feet sucking wind trying to will himself back into this match! Black Heart would motion for the Black Army to come to the ring to witness the end as he grabs the back of Hannibals mask holding him in place as he looked to finish him off. The Black Army look on at their leader...


The entrance way dragon's eyes glow green again as it let's out a roar that makes everyone in the crowd jump! Everyone's eyes divert to the ramp as Black Ninja stands with his hand out, closing it as members of the Independent Union flood to the ring for an all out war! Black Widow gets into the ring for safety but out comes Annie Maye! She's here to defend her man as she rushes Black Widow and the two women start trading punches in the middle of the ring! Annie breaks away and blasts Widow with a Tokyo Pop! Annie starts to bite off more than she can chew until Powder Keg makes his return! The last time he was in the ring Black Heart nearly crushed his throat with the spinning back chop! This time Powder Keg hits the ring pounding his chest, letting out a primal roar as Black Heart realizes that his forces are being beaten and he's about to pay up for his sins! Powder Keg tries to gore the champion but Overdose runs interference throwing a handful of powder into the face of Keg allowing for the leader of the Black Army to slither through the crowd to fight another day! Black Ninja makes his way to the ring and helps his friend Hannibal to his feet, raising his hand as a showing of respect the the man that is the heart of the entire Union!

I'm pretty sure I've commented in detail about each show this came from, but I am very excited to see new progress with this project and hope you stick around to continue posting many of them in the future. IU is by and large some of my favorite stuff anywhere.
