Elijah Burke defeats Dylan Bostic @ 4:37 via pinfall after the Elijah Experience, a sitout facebuster. Bostic was still out in a dress, approaching some 2 months now since it happened with no sign of victory in sight. The main point here was to push that on the Saturday Night Special, it will be the contract signing for the Retribution match, Burke vs CM Punk. As such, Burke looked strong in victory here, taking some offense from Bostic, but controlling most of the match. A strong message sent to Punk. Meanwhile Bostic tastes defeat again, and this time after the loss, exits the ring and takes the house mic. He says that he is sick and tired of this, it ends now. Dean says it ends when he wins a match, not when he says it does. Bostic answers that it does indeed end now because as of this moment, he is on strike and he is refusing to wrestle! Dean says he can't strike, wrestling isn't a union job. Bostic says that TPT can fire him then if he doesn't like it, but he will not wrestle another match like this ever again, here or anywhere for that matter.

Chris Silvio defeats Ryan Howe @ 7:25 via countout after the Psychedelic Superpunch on the floor. A revisiting of a heated rivalry from the summer here as 2015 starts off. Howe seemed to be on the verge of victory as he was trying to apply the Whammy Bar, a Fujiwara Armbar, but Silvio scrambled and eventually got to the ropes before The Rockstar could fully lock it in. The referee called for a break as Silvio went to the floor. Howe followed, but Silvio would pull his valet Mary Jane in front of him. A cowardly act if there ever was 1, but Mary Jane takes it a step further as she then slaps Howe. Needless to say this got Howe's blood boiling, but the next thing he knows, as he steps towards her, Silvio jumps across and nails Howe with his finisher. The Rockstar is down as Silvio rolls into the ring as the referee reaches the 10. Silvio wins, but is not finished. He calls for a chair as he looks to send a message to his former tag team partner Paredyse. Mary Jane hands him the chair as he comes back out and Silvio waits for The Rockstar to get up. The fans cheer though as from the back comes Paredyse, now in wrestling gear! As Silvio winds up the chair, Paredyse blows the noisemaker in Silvio's ear to cause him to drop the chair. As Silvio turns, Paredyse takes the baby new year diaper and puts on his head! Titus says that's disgusting as Dean says some might say it's fitting for Silvio. Howe then blasts Silvio with a right hand and he rolls out of the ring. Mary Jane acts disgusted by the diaper as Silvio angrily whips it onto the ground and points back at Paredyse. This issue seems to be heating up.

Melvin Maximus vs The Body Guy never started. As the bell rang, Body Guy backed up, still in his robe, and requested a mic. He said that they did not have to do this. What happened? They used to be friends, best buds, and now this? If Melvin wanted to break out on his own, all he had to do was ask. So far Melvin's looked alright, but with his expertise, he can guide Melvin to the top of OVW. The offer gets made as The Body Guy extends a hand and says just like 2 weeks ago, but Melvin wants to no part of it this time if that's what it's for. Instead he slaps the hand away to a big pop and motions that he intends to break him in half. The fans cheer as Melvin makes the mistake of turning his back on The Body Guy to prep a bit. At that point, Body Guy disrobed and revealed a shake weight. As Melvin turned back around, Body Guy blasted Melvin right between the eyes with it. Amazingly Melvin only drops to 1 knee, but a second shot is enough to put him down on the mat. The 350 pound former Kentucky Muscle bodybuilding winner lays on the mat as Body Guy puts a foot on him and acts like the winner, obnoxiously shaking the shake weight. He then drops it and does the Rick Rude hip swivel to booing. Titus loves it as could be expected, but the other 2 call for help for the downed Maximus.

Aaron Sky defeats Eddie Diamond @ 6:49 via pinfall with a schoolboy and a handful of tights. The competitive battle between the 2 takes an odd turn as Sky uncharacteristically resorts to cheating to secure the win. Partners Robbie Walker and Bud Dwight were on the outside in the respective corners for the match, although neither played a factor in the match itself. After the fall, Dwight was in and quickly pointed out to the referee what had happened. Diamond was in agreement, Sky pulled the tights. Sky steadfastly denied doing so and with it happening opposite to Walker, he was left with no choice but to side with his partner. He would question Sky, leading to some problems as Sky turned it on Walker for not believing him at his word. Walker said fine, but everybody else knows better. Dean points out that in recent weeks there has been minor issues between The Skywalkers as it looks like Sky has taken a win at all costs attitude unbeknownst to partner Walker.

Dean is in the ring with a table setup and welcomes Hannah & Holly to the ring. Their classic theme "Bring It All Back" by S Club 7 plays as they come out and shake hands with fans in the Davis Arena. Dean says that The Blossoms have made a name for themselves in Ohio Valley over the years, but today it all comes to an end as they look to move on to other non wrestling activities. Hannah says that it has been a great time in Ohio Valley, but they wanted to go back to the UK and spend some time with their friends and families back home to start 2015. Titus on commentary suggests immigration finally got to them given the date of this taping is December 31, 2014 and they will be on the next plane out as Gilbert tells him to stop it. Holly continues to never fear because all the fans and friends they have made will stay with them forever. They only hope that whatever they do next, they can get even half the support of the Louisville wrestling fans. To show their appreciation, Hannah says they have a surprise for them all. They both pull the sheet off the table, revealing dozens upon dozens, maybe even hundreds of cupcakes baked specially for the fans here.
Before they could continue, out came Taeler Hendrix along with Seleziya Sparx. She said that this is ridiculous and nobody here cares about The Blossom Twins or their cupcakes. They want to see her, they want to see Seleziya. Dean says that they're really living up to the moniker right now of being Mean Girls. Taeler says to stop calling them that. Now that the trash has been taken out, referring to their elimination of Scarlett Bordeaux & Nikki St. John 2 weeks ago, they will be known going forward as The A List. What that means is that when she is in the ring, only A listers can join her. And that means a couple B listers like The Blossoms need to step out and give the fans what they want, all Taeler Hendrix, all the time! The fans boo, clearly not agreeing with Taeler's sentiments.
Suddenly from the back come Scarlett Bordeaux & Nikki St. John! The fans cheer as they get in the ring and immediately start going after Taeler & Seleziya. While Nikki lands forearms to Taeler, Seleziya handles Scarlett with ease just throwing her aside right away. She then grabs Nikki and bends her over, readying her for the big spinning power bomb. Instead The Blossoms step in to a big pop and land some rights before a double dropkick sends Seleziya from the ring to the floor. Taeler gets up at the ropes looking out side the ring. She turns around as The Blossoms grab her and slam her head into the table of cupcakes! Not only that, but they really rub it in for added insult. Taeler falls over and brings the table of cupcakes with her. As she lay on the mat, literally covered in cupcake icing, some whole cupcakes even stuck to her, she begins throwing a borderline tantrum. The fans love it it as she tries getting up but slips and falls. She manages to exit the ring, but even Seleziya won't go near her. Scarlett & Nikki laugh as she just yells out in frustration. The Blossoms theme starts up again as they celebrate in the ring.

Cliff Compton defeats Dapper Dan @ 5:52 via pinfall after the Cliffhanger, a springboard tornado DDT. Give Dapper Dan credit as he holds his own for a good 5 minutes against the #1 contender, but Compton's experience proves to be just too much as he shows why he may just be the next OVW champion and breaks away to finish it off. After the match, Compton requested a mic so that he could address the Rudy Switchblade incident from 2 weeks ago. He says that he doesn't have much to say because he will do his talking in the ring with his fists. Switchblade made the biggest mistake of his life when he donned that mask and joined The Blacklist. This isn't just about 2 weeks ago, but the months of sneak attacks, War Games, everything. And as for Jamin Olivencia and the Heavyweight Title, it's coming. Saturday January 17, iPPV, he's going in there and winning that title 1 more time. They've had battles in the past but it will be nothing compared to this go around. His theme starts up again as the fans cheer and he poses some around the ring. Dean wonders though just what Switchblade will have to say? How he can possiby justify what he has done? The Saturday Night Special we get those answers, don't miss it!
Websclusive match #1
Rump Thump defeats J Best @ 4:35 via pinfall after the Rumper Stumper, a butt butt. Commentators for this week's websclusives were again The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie and Nick Dinsmore once again. A big win for Rump Thump, and both go back to the double countout rubber match with Dapper Dan from 2 weeks ago. Those 2 still need to settle the score, and now after what we saw on TV, maybe Rump Thump has the edge because Dapper Dan has tasted defeat. Or maybe it just made him more angry?VS |
Websclusive match #2
Bud Dwight defeats Robbie Walker @ 5:09 via ref stoppage. As the match was going on with Aaron Sky and Eddie Diamond at ringside in the respective corners, Walker went up for a leapfrog but landed poorly as his knee gave way. He went to the mat clutching it and the referee stepped in to get Dwight back. He then stopped the match and awarded Dwight the win, calling for a stretcher for Walker. Sky and Diamond got in as the 3 showed concern, although Sky seemed adamant that Walker could "walk it off". No go though as he can put no weight on it. Sky seemed pretty upset about this, but more for himself as he asked Walker what about getting back the Tag Team Title. Diamond & Dwight tried to get Sky to calm down, but he just exited the ring and left to the back. In a show of sportsmanship, Diamond & Dwight stayed with Walker and helped him to the back as the EMT's loaded him onto a stretcher at ringside. Dinsmore on commentary says he knows about knee injuries and they are nothing to take lightly.VS |
