BLOCK A: Rush continued his strong tournament thus far with a victory over the NWA Mid Atlantic United States Heavyweight Champion, Cedric Alexander, using La Lanza to finish the match. The man he fought to a time limit draw with just two nights ago, "the Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata, picked up his second win of the tournament by using the Penalty Kick on Go Shiozaki. Daisuke Sekimoto picked up his fifth consecutive win, using the Lariat to pin "the Unchained Gorilla" Togi Makabe, who has made a name for himself in the Festival with victories over Okada and Nakamura. Speaking of Okada and Nakamura, "the Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada defeated "the King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura with the Rainmaker. Both Okada and Nakamura will need to win their final two matches in order to have a chance to win the Festival.
BLOCK B: "The Stardust Genius" Tetsuya Naito finally broke his losing streak with a victory over Dolph Ziggler, using the Stardust Press to get the win. Unfortunately, it is too little, too late for Naito, who is just wrestling for pride now. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles continued his dominance, using the Styles Clash to beat the winless Yujiro Takahashi. "The Ace of the Universe" Hiroshi Tanahashi did the same, using the High Fly Flow to defeat Bad Luck Fale. Styles and Tanahashi sit atop the group with ten points, but they are being chased by both "the Brave Warrior" Hirooki Goto and Yuji Nagata, who wrestled in the main event. Goto used the Shouten Kai to defeat Nagata, but he remains in third place in the group.
