One on One Match
Chii Tomiya -v- Victoria
Victoria came into this match with a HUGE chip on her shoulder! Chii came in looking to keep up the JPP upset rolling against the former CPW Women's Champion. The former champ just came in laied the smack-down on her JPP counterpart. Chii did give a brief flash of offense, but as soon as it showed, Victoria smothered it. Victoria hit her finisher and then made DAMN sure that everyone knew she was the winner of this match!
Result: Victoria pinned Chii Tomiya with the Widow's Peak in 04:24.
After the match, Victoria called out the woman who cost her the championship.... Daffney. Daffney came out in jeans and a t-shirt. Daffney said that unfortunately, Victoria can't touch her... (A clip shows from a few weeks ago that shows Daffney quiting) Daffney said that until Victoria lost the title, she was a bitch.. Now she is a super bitch! Victoria challenged Daffney to a match, but Daffney told her to go screw herself, as she doesn't work in the CPW anymore! Daffney dropped the mic, flipped off Victoria and walked off, leaving the former champ fuming in the ring!
One on One Match
Alex Riley -v- Jack Swagger
Swagger came out looking for an easy win. Riley came out looking to get a win. This match was surprisingly very close. Alex came close to beating Jack after he missed a Swagger Bomb. Alex was going for a DDT, but Swagger struck him with a low blow, that the ref missed, and turned it into a gutwrench suplex for the win.
Result: Jack Swagger pinned Alex Riley after a gutwrench suplex in 05:44.
Tag Team Match
Money Inc. -v- Ink Inc.
Money Inc. came out and tore into Ink Inc. Ted and Robert were a team on fire. They worked a stiff match, and Ink Inc. came back with just as stiff of a match. In the end, Ted dropped Neal with a Pile driver, the DDT and then the Dream Street.
Result: Money Inc. (Robert Roode and Ted DiBiase) defeated Ink Inc. (Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal) when Ted DiBiase pinned Jesse Neal with the Dream Street in 08:04.
After the match, Neal had to be taken to the back on a stretcher in a neck brace, due to the vicious actions of DiBiase.
CPW Tag Team Championship Match
The Basham Brothers -v- LAX (c)
The Champs came out and congratulated Pure Dynamite on a very good match at Wrestling Classic. They said that in the coming weeks they WILL get a rematch, with insurances of no interference! They then turned to Money Inc. LAX said that Money Inc. may now be claiming to the the top team in the NWA, but they are NOT the champions!
This match, went back and forth. The champs dominated with power. In the end, the champs retained.
Result: LAX (Anarquia and Hernandez) defeated The Basham Brothers (Danny Basham and Doug Basham) when Anarquia pinned Doug Basham after a spinebuster slam in 06:07 to retain the CPW Tag Team Titles.
Interview with Alberto Del Rio
The CPW Champion came out to a roaring crowd of boos. The champion walked out with the belt draped over his shoulder and a bandage across his forehead.
Del Rio: I am Alberto Del Rio..... I am the CPW Heavyweight Champion... I am YOUR Champion of Champions! (The crowd is giving him a ton of heat)
Del Rio: I am the man who tamed the 'Samoan Suplexing King' 'Fat Wong' Samoa Joe. I am the number one contender for the NWA World Championship..
Del Rio: This weekend, I face "Take Sushi, More Sushi" in a First Blood Match! That is about as violent match as any. Look
back at when Tully Blanchard won the NWA Television Championship from Dusty Rhodes! (clips are shown of Dusty busting Blanchard open, then on Blanchard busting Rhodes with a roll of quarters and J.J Dillion wiping away the blood from Blanchard's face as the ref comes to and awards the match and title to Tully.) That was a bloody war, and the better man won!
Del Rio: How about when Kane beat Steve Austin for the WWF Championship? (It shows Kane and Austin battling in the cage and then shows The Undertaker belting Austin in the face with the chair, busting him open, costing Austin the title.)
Del Rio: Or how about when Justin Credible defeated one of our own in ...Tommy Dreamer? (it shows a clip of Credible defeating Dreamer with the help of Shawn Michales) These are all examples of the brutality... the gore... the desire that burned in men to become the best... But they all pale in comparison to the blood shedding that will befall Morishima at Showcase! I, your CPW Champion, will send Morishima back to the land of the bleeding sun. I will send Takeshi Morishima, the national hero that he thinks he is, home, a beaten, broken man. he will be a broken shell of his former self. At Showcase, you will feel the pain that Randy Orton felt. The pain Joe felt... The pain that my next target will feel.
Del Rio: And after I have dealt Morishima his career crushing blow, I will fulfill my destiny, and send the that patsy white, simpleton, Sheman, back to Ireland. But not before I beat him for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Your time as the NWA Champion is ticking.... ticking..... ticking! I am going to get you in the ring, and you will bow down to me, as the NWA Championship is strapped around my waist!
Del Rio starts to leave as the fans just Boo him... He stops and turns around. Smiling he says.... "Trust Me!" and slowly leaves.
One on One Match
Christian -v- Takeshi Morishima
Takeshi Morishima overpowered Christian. Christian tried to outsmart the Japanese star. It worked for a bit, but the larger Morishima was able to overcome the Canadian. Both men got their blows in over the course of the match, but in the end, the larger Morishima is able to take control and end the match.
He takes the mic and utters: "First Blood... Showcase.. Del Rio!"
Result: Takeshi Morishima pinned Christian after a running lariat in 10:37.
CPW Television Championship Match
Christopher Daniels -v- Matt Morgan (c)
Matt Morgan came out again, this time, completely bald and wearing a long flowing robe.. He was, again, holding his book. He said that once again, he spoke with his messenger. She promised him the fruit of his labor. She said that there would be sacrifices that had to be made. Pain to be felt. Blood to be shed. In the end, the world will bow down at his feet. Daniels came out and told Morgan that he was smoking the wrong 'herb'. Daniels said that his win was a fluke. Tonight, he would take back what is rightfully his.
As the action got going, both men showed a good amount of speed. Daniels targeted the knee of Morgan to keep the champion off his feet, and off balance. Morgan used his height to swat Daniels down when he tried high flying tactics. In the end, Daniels tried for the Angel Wings, but Morgan was able to power out, swift kick to the solar plexus and a power bomb for the win.
Result: Matt Morgan pinned Christopher Daniels after a power bomb in 15:13 to retain the CPW Television Title.
From the entrance way looking to the ring, we see a figure standing, watching, as the show ends.
. I heard he got hurt, then arrested for DUI... charges dropped. Other than that.... no idea.
