The Wild Boyz defeat Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner @ 6:54 when Eddie Diamond made Lamotta tap out to the Cripwalk Crossface. A measure of revenge for the party loving tag team as they get a win back in this rematch from TV last weekend. With EFD's infatuation with opposing manager Shelly Martinez well documented, she tried to use that to the advantage of her tag team only this time out, it would backfire. Where as last time she got on the apron and got a distraction to allow them to get the win, she took it a step further and teased removing her top ala Marlena on Shotgun Saturday Night circa January 1997 just as EFD had Rudo Lamotta down on the mat. Needless to say EFD's eyes were quite focused as he rubbed his hands together in anticipation, the manager knowing this would get a Pavlov's dog like reaction from him. The Mexicutioner would come from behind only to have Bud Dwight pull his own partner out of the way. Mexicutioner nearly ran into Shelly, but stopped short only to turn into a dropkick from Dwight. As Lamotta got up, EFD grabbed the arm and dropped down into the submission and got the tap out win. The seductive manager was beside herself with the loss as she gathered her team on the outside. EFD, hoping the win would impress her, was only met with anger as Martinez yelled from the floor before leaving. Fans have likely not seen the last of this saga.

Elvis Pridemoore defeats J Best @ 4:27 via pinfall after a DDT. Following his return at the most recent TV, this outing proves to be a little more to the liking of Elvis as he is able to pick up a rare win for himself. Prior to the match, Elvis even cut a rap on Best and plugs his CD, available at the merch table. The basic rap concludes "you're not J Best, you're J worst. In this match you're coming in last place, while I'm coming in first." Best's response was to knock off Elvis' signature red cap and jump him before the bell. Once Elvis got the cap back on though, it was like a new man as it rejuvenated him to make the comeback and get the win. The commentators theorize that the red cap is like spinach to Popeye or something.

Dylan Bostic defeats Rump Thump @ 6:15 via pinfall after hitting High Tide, a legdrop off the top rope. The self proclaimed New Wave of Ohio Valley gets some revenge on Rump Thump for coming to the aid of then Director of Authority Trailer Park Trash at last month's Retribution, but not without a fight. Thump nearly put Bostic away with the Rumper Stumper butt butt, but the force would send Bostic back and falling through the ropes to the floor. On the outside Bostic would grab Thump by the tights and fall backwards with the momentum sending his opponent into the ring post. From there, Bostic brought the match back inside and finished it off, although not without an exclamation mark. As noted by Dean on commentary, the leg drop off the top rope was the finisher of Trailer Park Trash back when he was a full time active competitor here, and maybe New Wave could be on the verge of encountering a tidal wave if he keeps up disrespectful behavior like that. Titus thinks it's fitting however, out with the old and in with the new as no dress and no TPT means no problems going forward for Bostic, with a big 2015 ahead.

Rob Conway defeats The Body Guy @ 5:08 via pinfall after the Ego Trip, a whiplash. The Ironman continues his recent run of success here in Ohio Valley with a victory over the always delusional Body Guy, who mostly brought comedy to the table in this match after answering Conway's open challenge on TV. Doing the Rick Rude style hip swivel taunt, Conway could only look on after begging Body Guy to stop embarrassing himself. Body Guy answered back that the only one embarrassed here was Conway because he knew everybody was looking at the real Ironman. Conway took it in jest, but once Body Guy shoved him, it was on. Body Guy got some offense, but the majority of the match belonged to Conway. In his pursuit of an NWA World Title match in 2015, Conway now moves to a 3-0 streak with Titus mocking that he is a long way off. Dean says 1 step at a time, and he's sure Conway knows the competition will only get stiffer as the weeks pass by. Gilbert meanwhile mentions Jim Cornette's invitation to Jeremiah Plunkett tonight, the man that slapped Conway on TV 2 weeks ago as something he's sure The Ironman will be watching.
TV Title match
Match #5VS |
TV champion Eric Locker defeats Ryan Howe to retain the title @ 7:45 via pinfall after the Hurt Locker, dropping Howe from an electric chair position into a German suplex. The Rockstar had the potential to win this match, only the appearance on the floor of Aaron Sky would prompt problems. Howe got in the Whammy Bar, his Fujiwara arm bar submission, but Locker managed to get to the ropes. Sky slapped the mat, cheering Howe on and telling him to put it on again. Howe ignored the advice and went up to the top rope. Sky argued he should put him in the Whammy Bar again, and Howe took too long as Locker was up and able to fall into the ropes and knock Howe off balance. Howe fell to the mat where Locker was able to quickly capitalize and put the challenger away to continue his reign as champion. Titus notes that the problems between The Skyrockers continue, while Dean notes in a hurry they are not The Skyrockers as Howe has made that perfectly clear he was not interested in teaming with Sky. After the match Howe is upset with Sky, leaving him in the ring and heading to the back. Locker meanwhile wins again as he has yet to taste defeat by pinfall or submission since arriving and winning the Future Talent Showcase Tournament and then the TV Title, but several of his wins like this one could carry asterisks in the record book if Dean were entering them in.

Elijah Burke defeats Stuart Miles @ 0:38 via pinfall after The Elijah Experience, a sitout facebuster. This was the first appearance by The Pope since his much publicized loss to CM Punk at Retribution that earned Punk a future chance at the title. Challenged by former NWA World champion Christopher Daniels to grow from the loss, Burke emerged here after a brief tease he wouldn't and was in top form against The Pastor of Disaster, making him eat his words from TV last weekend. Miles managed no offense in what was his own return match having been out since the December Saturday Night Special. Afterwards, Daniels was in to applaud the effort by Burke, but Miles was up and accusing Burke of not giving him enough time to ready. He wants a rematch and he wants it now. Burke says alright, though Daniels asks him if he's sure of this. Pope is.
Match #6 "the rematch"
Elijah Burke defeats Stuart Miles @ 0:26 via pinfall after The Elijah Experience. Even quicker than the first time, Miles tastes defeat to The Pope again with little to no offense. Daniels again comes in to applaud, but before anything, Miles takes the mic again on the floor. He tells Burke that he might call himself The Pope, but he has the Lord all mighty in his corner and together with The Pastor, they will not stand for this sort of blatant cheating. Miles wants another chance, declaring this a Best 3 out of 5 Falls match. The commentators joke that the third time is a charm, though Titus fails to see any humor in this blasphemous display. A beaten down Miles gets back in as Burke stands there and orders the referee to ring the bell.
Match #6 "best 3 out of 5 falls"
Elijah Burke defeats Stuart Miles @ 0:10 via pinfall after The Elijah Experience. The easiest "match" yet as Burke just kicks Miles and hits his finisher for the win, an exclamation mark on this series of encounters. Daniels is in again, even delivering a handshake in the process. Dean wonders if this could be the start of something as Daniels has knowledge that could get anybody to the top of the NWA. Daniels raises his arm and applauds as Burke's music hits and he heads around the ring. Dean wonders if CM Punk is watching, what does he think of this alliance? A man out to best him and the man he has repeatedly accused of cowardly avoiding him. Titus says that Punk could probably care less because he beat Burke, Daniels is old and retired, meanwhile he has an opportunity coming up at becoming the OVW Heavyweight champion.
Jim Cornette calls out Jeremiah Plunkett
Jim Cornette: Alright, thank you. I hope everybody's enjoying the show so far. Lots of action still to come, but I want to use some time tonight to get to the bottom of something that's been going on out here for over a month now. There's a guy that goes by the name of Jeremiah Plunkett, been showing up in the crowd for a bunch of our shows this year. He used to train here at the school, left and went on to greater success elsewhere and I guess that now he's back. Well, if that's the case, there's other ways of getting attention than sucker punching an OVW original, a legend like The Ironman Rob Conway. So I want this man to come out right now and it's not going to be through the crowd or anything like that. He is an invited guest here tonight, he's backstage, so come out here and let's get to the bottom of all this.
Just then from the back comes not Plunkett, but instead out steps ...
Jim Cornette: Oh you've got to be kidding me! Isn't there an old lady that's fallen somewhere and can't get up so you can sue God over how he designed the earth? Why are you out here right now?
Christian Mascagni: Be careful Mr. Cornette because that's bordering on slander and I will sue you, I will sue every fan here that paid a ticket because they are supporting that sort of activity. I am here tonight representing Mr. Jeremiah Plunkett because before he comes out here, we need to get a few things straight. You'd be surprised how many wrestlers back there look to attain my services for the drab working conditions you provide, but as I'm good, I also cost a lot of money so I'm only available to the stars.
Jim Cornette: Hey, I'm sure Heidi Fleiss was good at what she did too, cost a lot of money and was only available to the stars. Get to your point Mascagni because you're not putting yourself in a high class with comments like that.
Christian Mascagni: I'll let that slide. My point is that after what happened 2 weeks ago on your TV, I want assurances that my client will not be maliciously attacked again by 1 of your wrestlers. He was sitting in the crowd minding his own business when your contracted talent the supposed Ironman, nicknames have no place in legal matters as far as I'm concerned. The supposed Ironman Rob Conway put his hands on him. If he does that again, I can assure you that my client will not only own this place, but I'll take a hefty percentage as well for my fee.
Jim Cornette: You've got to be kidding me! Your "client", he's the one that sucker punched Rob Conway. You're lucky we didn't have him thrown in jail for what he did. He bought a ticket to sit in the crowd. He wants to throw punches, step in the ring and do it where Conway can fight back.
Christian Mascagni: But Mr. Conway did in fact put his hands on him first, regardless of the circumstances. My client was in the crowd, had his hand out, and Conway touched it like my client was nothing more than some fan in the crowd. He doesn't need Mr. Conway's approval or the adulation of these people, he is among the best in the world today and should be treated as such. He is among the best and only associates with the best, hence myself. Mr. Plunkett's reaction was no different than mine would be if you put your hands on me in such a threatening manner.
Jim Cornette: I'd sooner soil my hands on a dog's business than a lawyer. Look, just get him the heck out here. None of the wrestlers will touch him, and I assume no fans will either because there's not enough hand sanitizer in the state to get rid of those germs.
Christian Mascagni: Hold on. My client is a great wrestler. He is an all star talent. He is just as good as Jamin Olivencia or Cliff Compton or Elijah Burke, definitely better than Rob Conway. I want him introduced properly. Get your ring announcer to give him the appropriate introduction that he deserves. Honey, do your job for a change and earn your keep around here.
Jim Cornette: Hey! Watch your mouth!
Scarlett Bordeaux: Ladies and gentlemen, Jeremiah Plunkett?
Jim Cornette: Yeah, I know the E doesn't stand for Einstein, but you have to turn it on first. I know you're not used to holding one of them.
Plunkett checks the mic and turns it on.
Jeremiah Plunkett: As I was saying, my name is Jeremiah Plunkett. I am the champion of champions. I've generated more buzz in 2015 than anybody in Ohio Valley and I haven't even wrestled a damn match yet! That's how good I am. And this (holding up the title belt), this is what makes me that good. I am the NWA East Heavyweight champion and I have come here not as some type of invasion where 10 guys join me to take over. I don't need 10 guys, I only need 1, and that's myself. Where I come from, I'm better than anybody else and this right here says it! I'm not going to tie myself down with dead weight, guys that can't cut it, only the best. And now I'm here to do the same and this isn't a take over, rather a display. I want to show each and every fan that The East has the best. The East is superior to Ohio Valley, and I'm the best heavyweight wrestler in the NWA today.
Jim Cornette: Ok, I think I see where this is going. So the NWA East is, or rather was a promotion out of West Virginia ran by Dustin Smith, a name some of you may or may not know. Last I heard though, they closed down a couple months ago so he could focus on other business ventures, so that belt you're carrying around means about as much as the belt holding up my pants right now. What you did there means absolutely nothing here. You want to wrestle, be my guest, but that belt is not and will not be recognized by Ohio Valley.
Christian Mascagni: If I could interrupt, I have a legal obligation here. About 13 months ago, Ohio Valley became a part of the NWA, correct? Where this man won his championship was a part of the NWA, correct? All these titles are recognized by the NWA, which while NWA East may not exist anymore, the NWA does, the belt does, and my client does. And if you don't believe it, check with your own lawyer because I'll be sending over contracts signed back in 2014 by Dustin Smith himself that validate what I'm saying. Ohio Valley is a member promotion of the NWA, the championship held by my client is of the NWA, still held by my client as it was never vacated upon the closure, it will be recognized here or ... well, you'll be sued!
Jim Cornette: If you don't shut it, I'm going to really give you something to sue me over in another minute out here. Ok, so I'll play along. Ohio Valley recognizes this, whatever it is, so what? You want to defend it here, be my guest. I can't stop you from doing that. I have no idea who'd want the thing, but that's not my choice to make. If you think for a single second though that we are going to recognize it as equal to the belt that Jamin Olivencia has, think again.
Christian Mascagni: Well according to papers signed by Dustin Smith, it is equal. Maybe even better, but that's just opinion which has no place in legal matters.
Jim Cornette: I'm wondering, do you get paid every time you name drop Dustin Smith? Look, I get it, but that doesn't mean I care or that it means anything around here. I know that you're trying to act all insider to look cool and hip with the fans here as is your style Mascagni, but nobody cares. It's not getting a reaction and quite frankly neither are you. The sooner this is over with, the better.
Christian Mascagni: I'm not looking for a reaction. For the record, Jeremiah Plunkett has nothing to do in the present with Dustin Smith, let's just get that clear right now. The only link from my client to him is the officially sanctioned gold belt around his waist. For that matter, neither does this man with me, but since you like to live under rocks, I'll assume you have no idea who this.
Jim Cornette: I know exactly who it is. For those of you out there that don't though, this man that came out here with Jeremiah Plunkett is none other than Chase Owens, 1 of the top junior heavyweight wrestlers in the world today, if not the best. I don't know what was in the kool aid you fed him to get him to agree to show up with the 2 of you, but he can do a lot better than associating himself with your kind.
Christian Mascagni: I'll have you-
Jeremiah Plunkett: Please. Christian, please. Allow me. For the first time, you're right about something out here Mr. Cornette. It's not a theory or questionable. This man is the best junior heavyweight in the world, he is the Crown Jewel, he is Chase Owens. Like me, he is at the top of his game. Like me, he wants something. He wants the best competition around because he wants the opportunity to become the World Junior Heavyweight champion, an opportunity I told him that if he joins me, he will get here.
Jim Cornette: Well that's a laugh. With or without you, he could have got that chance here. Don't act like you have anything to do with this man's success just because for whatever reason he agreed to join you on this crusade, this invasion or whatever it is.
Jeremiah Plunkett: Like I said earlier, this is not an invasion, but a display. We are both here simply to show these fans that we are the best, and this is where we chose to do it in the NWA. We are The East and if you don't comply, there's a lot more where we came from. It's like I said, this isn't an invasion, but I snap my fingers and it can be. I've got Dustin Smith on speed dial and all I have to do is call him up and there are names that will walk in here and expose that locker room for the wannabes that they are.
Jim Cornette: Bring in internet darlings The Sons of Chaos for all I care. Get those message boards buzzing from the vocal minority because I don't think there's a single wrestler back there in that locker room that's afraid of the competition. This is Louisville, Kentucky, and around here, you earn your keep. You want a chance? You want an opportunity? Alright, I'll give it to you. Saturday March 7 at the next Saturday Night Special, it will be you Jeremiah Plunkett and if you want to wrestle, you wrestle The Ironman Rob Conway! Whether you put that title on the line or not, do whatever you want. But you don't sucker punch somebody like that and expect to get away with it. There will be consequences and it will be in the form of an ass whipping. And as for Chase Owens, he wants an opportunity? Yeah, ok. I can make that happen. He wants top opponents, I can make that happen. He wants a shot at the NWA World Junior Heavyweight championship though, win matches and he'll get it.
Jeremiah Plunkett: No problems there. He's been winning matches for a long time now.
Jim Cornette: Yeah, well I intend to give him a little more meat to chew on over time than padding his record against Shockwave The Wrestling Robot match after match. If he's the real deal, we'll find out and silence the critics. If he's not, he'll be exposed for what he is as having had as 1 put it, a "cupcake schedule". This is it. It's put up or shut up time Plunkett. If you are what you say you are, you better be able to back up those words of yours because if you're not what you say you are, there's the door and don't let it hit you on the way out.
Christian Mascagni: Pleasure doing business with you, and rest assured that I will be billing Ohio Valley on behalf of my client for my time here. It is already in the mail, and I assure you, it is not cheap.
Jim Cornette: Well I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. On second thought, hold your breath for it. Then maybe you'll pass out waiting and we won't have to see you again around here. Alright, it's like I said folks, tons more action to come.

Michael Hayes defeats Metal Master @ 8:51 via tap out to The Liberty Lock, a reverse seated Cobra Clutch submission. Fast paced action as the 2 fan favorites test each other out here tonight. Despite having teamed up on the most recent edition of TV, it was all business today. Both scored near falls, Hayes first with a jaw jacker to the knee, and then Metal Master after the jackhammer only for Hayes to get his leg on the bottom rope. After some more action, Hayes reversed Metal Master into the ropes and went for a clothesline, but Metal Master ducked and went for a crucifix. Hayes however blocked and fell back to slam Metal Master into the mat. From there, he quickly transitioned to the submission to get the tap out and the win. Dean feels that this could be Hayes' time as he has been looking good since returning just before War Games, and especially recently by putting The Bully Rob Terry in his place at Retribution and last month and this win tonight. Gilbert says that any time one gets a win over a former TV champion, that has put them in the mix for a possible chance at getting that coveted #1 contender slot for the next chance at Eric Locker. Titus laughs at that idea as Locker would run circles around Hayes, literally.

Chris Silvio defeats Paredyse @ 13:49 via pinfall after The Psychedelic Superpunch. The heated rivalry finally reaches the ring in a 1 on 1 singles match, although thanks to Silvio's antics, there won't be much resolution beyond bragging rights for The Psychedelic Superstar. The 2 were having a fairly competitive match that sees Silvio in control in the later stages, but unable to get the 3 on Paredyse to put him away for the win. The frustration mounted until finally Paredyse began mounting a comeback. Paredyse would set up for The Long Kiss Goodnight, but Silvio instead collapsed to the mat from his grasp and crawled to the corner. The referee stopped Paredyse from going after him as Silvio lay on the mat with his back against the bottom turnbuckle. His valet Mary Jane entered, very concerned. She yelled for Paredyse to back off as well, and now the former tag team partner of Silvio was also showing concern. Dean speculated that this could be a concussion issue based on the referee's behavior. Mary Jane and the referee help Silvio up, who seems to have no idea where he is. Paredyse then holds the ropes open so that Silvio can be escorted out. Silvio grabs the top rope and is about to go out when he instead takes advantage of Paredyse's prone position and blasts him with the Superman punch finisher. Paredyse drops to the mat as Silvio quickly covers him. The referee is hesitant, but finally drops down and counts the 3. Silvio gets up and celebrates like he's won the Super Bowl or something, a sick display to take advantage of Paredyse's compassion like that. Dean is disgusted and thinks that whatever was left of their friendship from years ago has to be gone now. Titus of course thinks it is the greatest thing he has ever seen and feels wrestling is about winning and Silvio won. Gilbert says that Silvio has won the battle, but in doing so, this is going to be a war going forward.

NWA World champion AJ Lee defeats OVW Women's champion Jessie Belle to win the title @ 6:33 via tap out to The Black Widow. Far removed from AJ's under 90 second win at Thanksgiving Thunder, in the end she was still able to pick up the victory and win the title in the process. Belle was able to get some offense in, including a near fall after her Southern Justice Gory Bomb. An attempt at her Southern Comfort running bulldog was countered by AJ as she grabbed the ropes and swung her legs up into the octopus submission hold. Belle resisted but had no real alternative but to tap. In doing so, Belle's 154 day reign as Women's champion comes to end, beginning 5 months ago back on September 6 at the Saturday Night Special with a win over then champion Heidi Lovelace. The commentators feel that this could be the start of a new era for women's wrestling here in Ohio Valley as the champion is also concurrently the World champion, though Titus is less pleased feeling that it is all just a conspiracy against the Smothers family. First, Tracy is forced to leave town when Jerry The King Lawler is brought in as referee at Retribution, and now Jessie loses her title when the outsider AJ Lee is brought in. Regardless, the women here have a new target and because she holds both belts, maybe 2 targets on the 1 back, though Belle is not likely to just roll over.
Before the next match, an announcement that on Sunday night April 12, Ohio Valley will return to iPPV for a third time with a live streaming event entitled "The Best in The World". Generally the only way to see special events is live in the Davis Arena, tape delayed on demand through the website, or via DVD, but this event will be broadcast live across the world through the company's website and a deal with WWN Live. Keep watching OVW TV over the coming weeks for information on the lineup as matches get signed and announced. Get your tickets today.
Heavyweight Title match
Match #10VS | VS |
Big stakes here with Jamin Olivencia putting his Heavyweight Title on the line. The paths of these 3 seems locked in the last couple months, ever since it was revealed that Rudy Switchblade had been in disguise as The Masked Turncoat of The Blacklist, making life hell for Olivencia and Cliff Compton among others in his quest to become champion. Compton however had a chance at Retribution last month on iPPV, only to see Switchblade's interference in the match try and help him but Compton wanted none of it and refused to take a count out win because of it. A #1 contender match ended in a no contest, though new Director of Authority Jim Cornette quickly made the judgment call for this 3 way, and not only that, but barring the Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion from the building tonight to keep them from interfering. While Olivencia has only tasted defeat once in the last 10 months last month in a tag team to Switchblade which might make Rudy the favorite, the rules are such that the title can change without Jamin actually being pinned.
The match gets started after Scarlett Bordeaux's ring introductions and right from the bell, Switchblade is in a bad position. He jumps outside and leaves Olivencia and Compton to fight each other. A cowardly move but rather than fight, it gets quickly rectified when Compton exits 1 side and Olivencia the other and they sandwich him on the floor. At that point, Switchblade slides back in but Olivencia grabs his leg to slow him. Compton gets in, Olivencia gets in, and now Switchblade is left between them. Compton with a right sends Switchblade into a right by Olivencia. It repeats twice more before Switchblade drops to the mat. Olivencia goes to grab him, but Compton takes exception to that. The 2 start arguing over which will get to work over Switchblade first and end up exchanging rights themselves. Switchblade rolls outside again as Compton sends Olivencia into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but the champion ducks and comes back with a clothesline of his own. Compton pops back up and gets bodyslammed down. Switchblade from the floor grabs Compton by the leg and pulls him out to the floor, decking him with a forearm. Compton fires back but Olivencia is not waiting around as he hits the ropes and dives out onto the 2 challengers to take them both out as this match is off to a fast start.
Switchblade is up first and gets rolled into the ring by the champ, who follows. Switchblade gets up but gets taken to the corner by Olivencia. He Irish whips him across into the turnbuckles, before charging in with a forearm to the chest. He then heads outside and up to the top rope as Switchblade takes a few steps forward, gathering himself. He realizes nobody's there and turns to Olivencia leaping off with a knee to the chest that drives him down to the mat. Olivencia quickly covers, but only gets to 2 before Compton from the floor pulls him off. Compton then heads inside and drives an elbow into the back of Switchblade. Olivencia gets up and Compton sends Switchblade into the ropes, dropping down for him to go over, and Olivencia instantly leapfrogs after that. Switchblade heads back, this time Olivencia dropping and Compton being met with a shoulderblock. Compton goes down, but Olivencia quickly schoolboys Switchblade and gets a 2 count. As Olivencia stands, Compton schoolboys him and gets 2 count when Switchblade breaks up the cover.
Switchblade grabs Compton and locks in a side headlock. Olivencia gets up and puts a side headlock on Switchblade at the same time. Switchblade shoves Olivencia off into the ropes, and Compton shoves Switchblade off just after sending Switchblade into a collision with the champion. Olivencia gets knocked out to the floor as Switchblade turns into a kick in the midsection from Compton. Compton puts in a front facelock and brings Switchblade over to the corner, stepping up to the middle rope for the tornado DDT, but on the turn instead getting shoved off by Switchblade. Compton charges with a clothesline, but Switchblade ducks. As Compton turns, Switchblade goes for the RudyKO, but Compton shoves him away. Switchblade turns and both charge each other with a clothesline, simultaneously sending each other down to the mat. As they get up, they are met by Olivencia back in the ring charging them with a double clothesline of his own. As the 2 challengers get up, Olivencia butts their heads together.
The champion puts his focus from here on Switchblade as Compton falls back first into a corner. Olivencia sends Switchblade into the ropes and connects with a dropkick, followed by a 2 count. Turning back to Compton in the corner, Olivencia charges in with a running knee to the face. Switchblade gets up and Olivencia delivers a suplex before heading back out to the top rope. The champion comes off with a 180 degree turning splash and covers, but Compton breaks it up at the 2. He lays in forearms to the champion before bringing him over to the corner and lifting him up to the top turnbuckle. Compton climbs up and could be looking for a superplex. Olivencia blocks though and Compton struggles. As this goes on, Switchblade gets up. He steps up behind Compton, also on the second rope. He clamps his hands around the waists and lifts back with a German suplex that in the process superplexes Olivencia off the top rope! Switchblade covers Olivencia ...

Olivencia manages to get a shoulder up. Switchblade wastes little time, quickly jumping over to cover Compton ...

Compton kicks out. The leader of The Blacklist comes close, but is no doubt in the driver's seat right now. As Olivencia gets up, Switchblade scoops out the legs and tries to turn him into a Walls of Jericho style Boston Crab. Compton however gets up in the struggle and walks up to Switchblade and drops him down with a DDT. Compton covers and gets a 2 count. Olivencia gets up and turns into a kick to the midsection. Compton hooks Olivencia and lifts him up into the Media Blitz, a sitout scoop slam piledriver. Compton goes for a cover, but Switchblade dives in to break it up at 2. As they stand, Switchblade swings at Compton against the ropes, but he ducks and back body drops him over the top rope and to the floor. Compton then lifts up Olivencia and delivers some stiff shots before sending him across into the ropes and delivering a high knee to the face. Olivencia drops back into the ropes and bounces right back into Compton for a Samoan Drop. Compton covers and grabs a 2 count. He tells the referee to "come on", feeling maybe the count is not up to par. He grabs Olivencia and brings him to the corner in a front facelock. Before he can hit the tornado DDT though, Olivencia lifts Compton up and drops him face first into the top turnbuckle. Compton lands, dazed, and turns into a leaping Olivencia. Bodyscissors, front facelock, DDT, the Standing O! Olivencia covers ...

Switchblade comes off the top rope with a frog splash, but Olivencia sees it and moves giving up his cover. Switchblade hits Compton. Olivencia instantly grabs Switchblade by the back of the head and stands him up, throwing him up and over the top rope to the floor. Olivencia quickly covers Compton again ...

... NO!
Compton gets a shoulder up before the 3. Olivencia can't believe it. So close. What will it take? The third man factor is proving to be an issue for anybody putting this away tonight. The champion goes back to the apron and heads up to the top rope again, but Compton as he gets up manages to drop into the tope to crotch Olivencia on the turnbuckle. As he heads over maybe for a second try on the superplex, Switchblade manages to pull his legs out to send Compton on his back. He then pulls him forward, crotching him on the ringpost before Compton falls out to the floor. Switchblade slides back in and grabs Olivencia by the neck, jumping up and hitting the cutter off the top rope, RudyKO! Switchblade covers ...

Switchblade wins! The referee quickly waves it off, noticing Olivencia got his foot onto the bottom rope. Switchblade calls into question that decision, but wastes little time as grabs Olivencia and throws him down into the corner, stomping a mud hole in him Steve Austin style, finishing with a prolonged boot to the throat that gets a 5 count to break the choke. Compton meanwhile is getting up on the apron. Switchblade grabs him and readies to suplex him into the ring, but Compton instead manages to drive a shoulder to the midsection through the ropes. With Switchblade hunched over, Compton uses the top rope and slingshots himself over the top rope into a sunset flip. Switchblade goes over into a count, but Olivencia easily breaks it up by kicking him in the back of the head. Switchblade gets up and heads over to the ropes where he turns and takes a running clothesline from the champ that sends him over the top rope and to the floor. Olivencia turns back up and starts to spin around to psych himself up, ready to finish this. Compton gets up and he gets met with Olivencia leaping into a bodyscissors. Compton however manages to turn them and run the champ back first into the corner. Compton then locks in the front facelock, steps up and springboards off into a tornado DDT, the Cliffhanger connects! Compton covers ...

Compton is pulled out to the floor, not by Switchblade, but by Eric Locker? What the hell is the TV champion doing out here? He grabs Compton by the back of the head and throws him into the barricades around the ring. This should be a DQ, but Titus quickly asks on who? Locker's got no affiliation out here with anybody and besides, there are no DQs in a 3 way. A staggering Olivencia gets up in the ring at the ropes and notices Locker at ringside. He challenges him to get into the ring. Locker steps up to the apron as Olivencia backs up and readies for the fight. The TV champion goes to enter, but steps back and drops back down to the floor instead. Olivencia steps towards him, but hears something as he turns around and gets met with Switchblade jumping up into the cutter, the RudyKO strikes again. Switchblade covers ...

Switchblade wins! NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! No doubt about it this time as Switchblade pins Olivencia at a time of 24:52. The leader of The Blacklist gets handed the championship belt and clutches it for dear life, looking up. Eric Locker gets in the ring and helps Switchblade up, raising his arm in victory. What the hell is this? Gilbert says it looks like Locker was here to help Switchblade, has he joined The Blacklist? Dean says no, it can't be. Titus just gets overjoyed, saying YES! in his most annoying voice as Locker turns the new champion and lifts him up into his electric chair position. Except this is not for the Hurt Locker but rather so that Switchblade can hold up the championship belt as Locker walks him around the ring. Dean can't believe it as even with Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion barred from the damn building, The Blacklist still managed to pull one over and have quite literally stolen the Heavyweight championship here tonight. Compton is on his knees on the outside looking on, meanwhile Olivencia is by the side of the ring, still mostly out of it. Gilbert says that if Locker has joined The Blacklist, they have suddenly went from having the Tag Team champions in Jonze & Stallion to the TV champion in Locker, and the Heavyweight Title in Switchblade. They have control over everything it would seem as of this moment. Dean calls it a dark day for Ohio Valley as Titus says it's always darkest before the dawn and this is just the beginning of a new day for OVW. The day of The Blacklist. Gilbert thanks everybody for tuning in with a note of the next Saturday Night Special on March 7, and the return to iPPV on Sunday April 12, Best In The World. For Dean Hill, for Michael Titus, so long from Gilbert Corsey.
