Elijah Burke defeats Stuart Miles @ 5:38 via pinfall after The Elijah Experience, a sitdown facebuster. The Pastor of Disaster puts up a far better performance today than his miserable 3 straight defeats at the Saturday Night Special, but it was still not enough against The Pope. No sign of The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels despite their recent alliance, but Dean says that should not be surprising given the busy schedule that the former World champion carries, even in retirement. Last week Burke issued the challenge to CM Punk for a rematch at the next SNS on March 7, but so far no response. Dean says that's not surprising since Punk seems to use his UFC commitments as an out any chance he can get. Titus says it's not an out, but something Dean would never understand, what it's like to be important and the facts are Punk has more important things to concern himself with than a wrestler he already defeated.

Heidi Lovelace, Mary Elizabeth Monroe & Rebel defeat Taeler Hendrix, Seleziya Sparx & Ray Lynn @ 5:10 when Rebel pinned Hendrix after a split legged leg drop. Heated back and forth action as the remnants of the women's division looked to put their name in the hunt for the next shot at the Women's Title after former champion Jessie Belle gets her rematch. The A List of Hendrix & Sparx looked to control the actions of Lynn, but she didn't care much for it and seemed oblivious to the action, thinking a tag was a high 5. As Hendrix looked for a tag at the end, she instead turned away on the apron and twerked her rear, having a good time. Hendrix yelled at her, asking what the hell is wrong with her? Seleziya said the same, meanwhile Hendrix turned to a Heidicanrana from Lovelace. Rebel tagged in and hit her finisher as Monroe decked Seleziya with a forearm as she tried to enter to break it up, meanwhile Lovelace awaited Lynn, but she just stayed on the apron and applauded the win. Afterward Lynn celebrated with the winning team who seemed confused as well but went along with it, all the while Taeler just complained to Seleziya about what had happened.

The Gossip Minute with Mandy Leon
The Gossip Girl Mandy Leon is back and runs down some of the latest news and rumors that are making the rounds from backstage at the Davis Arena. Fact or fiction, you decide ...- Timmy Danger's search continues for a new wrestler, having taken trips to recent NWA events to scout talent
- Speaking of scouting talent, the World champion may soon head to Davis Arena to scout talent ... in the ring
- The AJ Lee vs Jessie Belle rematch will NOT happen at the Saturday Night Special on March 7
- After defeating Tracy Smothers at Retribution, Heidi Lovelace is considering a run at Eric Locker's TV Title

Dylan Bostic defeats Metal Master via DQ @ 4:45 thanks to outside interference. The rivalry gets renewed from the Fall with Bostic looking at getting revenge against the wrestler that forced him into the dress for all those weeks. No TV Title involved this time out, but that doesn't mean that both men are not seeking the victory with the #1 contender to the championship held by Eric Locker to be decided next week. The 2 wrestlers went back and forth in the match with Bostic eventually getting control and slamming Metal Master to the mat. He then headed outside and climbed to the top rope. WHACK! Out of nowhere, a kendo stick cracks across his back to send him falling from the top rope and to the mat. At that point, stepping into the ring was ...

Paredyse defeats Dapper Dan @ 4:51 via pinfall after The Long Kiss Goodnight, a forward STO. Despite the loss to Chris Silvio at the last Saturday Night Special, Paredyse comes back strong here today. Dapper Dan puts up a fight, but it ends up not being enough as he once again tastes defeat out here. It gets announced that next week here on TV, not only will Paredyse be a part of the Fatal Fourway match to determine the new #1 contender to Eric Locker's TV Title, but so too will Silvio. Dean says that after what Silvio did, Paredyse will be out for blood next week because he took whatever was left of their friendship and he spit on it. Titus says that it's all competition out here, win any way you can, any means necessary, and next week he will do it again and that idiot Paredyse will probably fall for it again.

Chase Owens defeats Jon Ramser @ 1:29 via pinfall after The Roaring Elbow, a discus elbow smash. The Crown Jewel of The East finishes Ram Jam in quick order in his debut match here, impressing everybody on commentary. Plunkett says that this is why this man should be contending for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title, except with opponents like this, that won't be happening. Plunkett on commentary says that next week, he's demanding competition for Owens. He wants championship level opponents, none of this preliminary crap. Gilbert wonders if Plunkett should check with Owens before making his matches, but he just answers back that Owens sees this (referring to the NWA East championship) and knows to trust his judgment. He became a champion and he can make Owens a champion. Dean says that's a laugh to think Owens getting gold would have anything to do with Plunkett.

Heavyweight champion Rudy Switchblade defeats Michael Hayes in a non title match @ 9:31 via pinfall after the RudyKO, a jumping cutter. Competitive non title match for the champ, but after several back and forths, he is able to finish Hayes off clean with his finisher. The Iraqi war vet put up a good fight and came close to taking the match on a couple occasions, even getting Switchblade into The Liberty Lock submission, but the champ was able to roll them over and get to the ropes for the break. Dean gives Switchblade credit as this outing displays that he can wrestle when he wants to, but that is what it makes it so aggravating is that he just takes the easy way out when he can. Titus calls it the smart way as Switchblade is the champion here, not some 1 legged loser like Hayes. Gilbert says that he will have to do the same to Jamin Olivencia in 2 weeks time at the next Saturday Night Special with the title at stake, but that may prove to be easier said than done when the pressure is on.
After the match, from the back comes Eric Locker, Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion and it seems things are just getting started. Switchblade calls for a chair as he seems to be looking to use Hayes to send a message to their opposition. Jonze & Stallion hold Hayes as Switchblade swings the chair back. Hayes gets his hands up but Switchblade swings the chair and knocks him down. What's this? Now he puts it on Hayes' ankle, his only ankle!, and he's instructing Locker to go to the middle rope to "Pillmanize" it. From the back comes Olivencia though! The fans cheer as he gets in and starts fighting off any and all of The Blacklist. Eventually the numbers catch up, but then Cliff Compton races out! He manages to get the chair and Stallion turns to a chair shot to the head. Jonze gets a shot to the gut, before being whacked across the back. Olivencia fights off Locker and sends him over the top rope and to the floor. Switchblade in all that escapes untouched, but his days may be numbered. All of The Blacklist's days may be numbered. March 7, the Saturday Night Special. They could go from all having a championship to none. For Dean Hill and Michael Titus, Gilbert says so long and to come back next week for more action.
Websclusive match #1
The Wild Boyz defeat The No Class Connection @ 5:27 when Eddie Diamond made Leon Shelly tap out to the Cripwalk Crossface. With a non title opportunity against Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion of The Blacklist scheduled for the next TV, EFD & The Party Starter Bud Dwight get in a warm up against Shelly & Deonta Davis. These 2 teams are no stranger to each other but The Connection have yet to figure out a way to defeat The Wild Boyz. Commentators are The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie and Mr. 1859 Cliff Compton. Boddie wonders what the reveal of Shelly Martinez's new "movie" could do to EFD's focus, though Compton wonders what the rest of the tag teams will do when he reveals his partner for the Saturday Night Special because that is what they should all be concerned with.VS |
Websclusive match #2
Rump Thump defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:53 via pinfall after The Rumper Stumper, a butt butt. Despite the red cap staying intact, Elvis comes up short against Rump Thump who proves to just be too much. Boddie says that Thump is looking to get back on track after a loss to Dylan Bostic at the SNS a couple weeks back, though Compton is more interested in his workout regime to get that posterior strength that Rump Thump possesses. Boddie asks Compton how he would combat Rump Thump's advantage in a match, to which Compton says you don't and that's what makes him so dangerous as an opponent. He can hit the Rumper Stumper from so many ways that you just can't have the necessary reaction time to avoid it.VS |
