Cliff Compton defeats Stuart Miles @ 5:03 via pinfall after the Cliffhanger, a Tornado DDT. Before the match, The Pastor of Disaster does some mic work, ripping into Mr. 1859 as being a sinner, the sin being envy. That's right Compton is envious of The Blacklist for having all the gold while he has none. Compton says is that right and approaches Miles to start the match with a right hand to the jaw. Miles managed to get in some offense, but the win ultimately went to Compton after he was able to deliver his finisher. It was announced last week that Compton will enter the SNS with Colt Cabana as his tag team partner to challenge Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion for the Tag Team Title. Dean thinks there is a good chance that we could end up seeing new champions, but Titus feels Compton & Cabana are old news, the past, while The Blacklist are the future.

Dapper Dan defeats Flash @ 4:28 via DQ when Flash used his kendo stick on Dan. A completely unnecessary move by Flash as he had the match in hand but decided to go hardcore anyway. He begins to lace into Dapper Dan with repeated shots from the foreign object. The referee calls for the bell and tries to calm Flash, but just gets threatened himself. Clearly Flash is a man on a mission, that mission to avenge his friend Trailer Park Trash and he can do just that when he takes on New Wave Dylan Bostic at the Saturday Night Special. The 1 time Justin Beiber of Professional Wrestling may end up having to go by The Elephant Man of Professional Wrestling once Flash & his kendo stick get finished with him.

The Gossip Minute with Mandy Leon
The Gossip Girl Mandy Leon is back and runs down some of the latest news and rumors that are making the rounds from backstage at the Davis Arena. Fact or fiction, you decide ...- There is talk of an international star coming in to wrestle at The Best In The World iPPV on April 12
- Speaking of which, the iPPV is on a Sunday instead of Saturday to accommodate CM Punk having a UFC commitment on the 11th
- She managed to get a copy of The Notorious Shelly Martinez vol. 2 and it was about as hot as a winter's night at the North Pole
- Timmy Danger has found his new man and will debut him at the Saturday Night Special

Jeremiah Plunkett & Chase Owens defeat Metal Master & Rump Thump @ 6:11 when Plunkett pinned Rump Thump after a gordbuster. Coming off the actions of Plunkett last week, Dean was reluctant to even participate in calling the match but agreed to put differences aside and be a professional. Amazingly enough, despite the talking, this was the first look at Plunkett in the ring, a positive because it means he's not at commentary for once. During the match, Owens caught Rump Thump with his discus elbow smash, only to have Plunkett request, nay, demand the tag. Owens tagged him in so that he could be the one to put Rump Thump away with Metal Master coming in to break it up, but getting cut off by Owens. Time may be running out though for The East because at the Saturday Night Special, Plunkett has The Ironman Rob Conway and it will be for that title Plunkett carries around with him, and Dean hopes it ends up thrown in the trash by the end of the night. Plunkett afterward goes up to commentary and holds up his belt, telling them that his is the only title that matters, and he intends on keeping it at the Saturday Night Special and taking out Conway for "him".

Battle Royal
Match #4Heidi Lovelace won a 7 woman Battle Royal @ 5:42, last eliminating Seleziya Sparx. This match was to determine which wrestler would get a match at the Saturday Night Special against a former OVW Women's champion, still unknown. Jessie Belle refused to compete in the match, not wanting to jeopardize herself before her eventual rematch with AJ Lee. The first elimination saw EFD Eddie Diamond come out and try to give Shelly Martinez flowers, leading to Aaron Sky getting into a tug of war over the bouquet. Shelly came over distracted as Sky won, but the momentum sent the flowers up and into Shelly's face. This allowed for Rebel to throw her out. The second elimination sees Taeler Hendrix getting Seleziya to work over Ray Lynn, but then demanding to throw Lynn out herself. Instead Lynn ducked a charging Hendrix, sending her up and out to the floor. From there Seleziya took over, eliminating Lynn, and then managing to throw out Rebel as well. With the match down to 3, she would manage to send Mary Elizabeth Monroe out as well, just cleaning house. She then grabbed Lovelace and threw her over, but she held onto the top rope and managed to bring her legs up to headscissors Seleziya and pull her out. After the match, Gilbert stood and asked everybody if he could have their attention. The former Women's champion is here right now and she wants to come out, ladies and gentlemen ...

Elijah Burke defeats The Body Guy @ 5:28 via pinfall after The Elijah Experience, a sitout facebuster. With the March 7 Saturday Night Special looming, The Pope takes 1 last challenge from the always delusional Body Guy. Despite coming off of a win last week over Elvis Pridemoore, Body Guy was unable to continue that. He did get some offense and positioned Burke for the pedigree, but The Pope broke free and scooped out the legs and slingshotted Body Guy into the corner turnbuckle en route to finishing him off. The big question still remains though. Who will Burke's opponent be at the Saturday Night Special? He wanted CM Punk in a rematch from Retribution, but due to Punk's UFC commitments, he is unavailable on March 7. Punk sent word that he had challenged somebody to step up and take the match and as Burke stood in the ring after the match, we found out who ...
-- Fifth commercial break --
- Elijah Burke vs CM Punk's handpicked opponent, Jay Bradley
- Rob Conway vs Jeremiah Plunkett, and Plunkett's NWA East championship will be at stake
- Heidi Lovelace vs Taryn Terrell in a special attraction
- Ryan Howe & The Wild Boyz vs Aaron Sky, Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner
- 3 way dance with Rump Thump vs Dapper Dan vs The Body Guy
- Rematch from last week's TV, Metal Master vs Chase Owens
- Flash Flanagan vs Dylan Bostic
- Eric Locker defends the TV Title against Michael Hayes
- Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion defend the Tag Team Title against Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana
- Rudy Switchblade defends the Heavyweight Title against Jamin Olivencia, No Holds Barred with 2 referees
And not only that, but Paredyse has called out Chris Silvio to bury the hatchet on their rivalry. Will Silvio accept or not? And of course, it was announced that should anybody from Ohio Valley interfere in the 3 title matches with The Blacklist, they will be fired on the spot. But Cornette's not going to stop there, after all why discriminate? If there is any interference by anybody from Ohio Valley period in any match at all, they will be fired. Let's do this and let's do it right. And right now ...

Jamin Olivencia & Michael Hayes defeat Rudy Switchblade & Eric Locker @ 10:18 when Olivencia pinned Switchblade after the Standing O, a jumping bodyscissors into a DDT. A gigantic win for Olivencia as he manages to put the shoulders of the champion to the mat for a 3. Switchblade almost had Olivencia defeated as he setup for the RudyKO, but Olivencia instead shoved him off and knocked him into Locker on the apron. The 2 Blacklist members butted heads and Olivencia caught Switchblade turning around with his finisher. Should that happen at the SNS, Olivencia will regain his title that he should have never lost in the first place. Titus however takes a different approach, saying that Olivencia only won the match thanks to using a second man, but that won't happen at the SNS. 1 on 1, Switchblade had this match won. Gilbert says that's a hypothetical and we will never know, but it at least gives Olivencia some momentum as he heads into the title match. Dean says he almost hopes somebody like Locker does interfere so that they can get fired and they won't have to see them again.
It is mere hours away. 10 big matches, 3 Ohio Valley title matches, and the big stipulation hanging over it all. Any interference, you're gone. Fired. Should make for an interesting night as we start the home stretch towards the next iPPV on Sunday April 12, The Best In The World. For Dean Hill and Michael Titus, Gilbert says so long and to come back next week for more action.
Websclusive match #1
Dylan Bostic defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:45 via pinfall after the legdrop off the top rope. Once again adding insult to injury so to speak, New Wave Dylan Bostic uses Trailer Park Trash's finisher to put his opponent away, the same TPT that Bostic got fired from his job as D.o.A. back at Retribution. Commentators were The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie & Nick Dinsmore and they both agree that while Bostic got away with using the Trailer Jack here in the websclusive, if he does that to Flash Flanagan at the SNS, win or lose, there might be hell to pay in the form of the kendo stick. And what would be a Pridemoore match without the rap beforehand, concluding "Justin Bieber's got nothing on you, after all you're Dylan Bostic. And just like he's a little rudy poo, you're nothing but a big giant dick."VS |
Websclusive match #2
Ryan Howe defeats Raul Lamotta @ 5:31 via tap out to the Whammy Bar, a Fujiwara armbar. Small preview of the scheduled 6 man tag coming up at the Saturday Night Special sees The Rockstar go over The Rudo. The commentators were sure to mention on commentary that the D.o.A. Jim Cornette had barred The Wild Boyz, Aaron Sky, The Mexicutioner, and Shelly Martinez here in another preview of the SNS. Boddie wonders if we will ever see the footage that Shelly was about to play last week before The Rockstar confiscated it and destroyed the only copy. Dinsmore tells him that the footage could prove key in distracting EFD if played at the SNS where by it's not interference by a person and wonders how Cornette would handle such an event relative to his policy?VS |
