Out to the ring comes AJ Styles and the Young Bucks, the current World Heavyweight and World Tag Team champions, and they seem full of themselves tonight! Styles says they've beat everybody there is as the fans boo, and said they are headed to Japan to continue conquering the competition! Out to the ring come 3lite, and the fans go nuts, as Lethal takes the mic. Lethal says he's had his share of wars with the best around, and at BFG, he nearly, once again, took World championship gold. He says one way or another he's going to become the World champion, and he doesn't care if it's Daisy Bryan's belt... or if it's AJ Styles'! The fans cheer for this, and out comes Kurt Angle. He says if these guys want to fight, tonight, there's going to be a six man tag team main event, and the fans like this, as Styles and the Young Bucks protest, saying they are outta here! Angle says they're asses ain't on the plane yet, and tonight, they're going to earn their paychecks or they'd better just stay in Japan for good! That settled that.
PJ Black & Matt Sydal defeats Shiima Xion & TJ Perkins and reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) in what must be considered an upset. O'Reilly looked to take the win here with a Brainbuster on Perkins, only to have the fall broken up by a Springboard 450 Splash from Black. Fish heads in and attempts a Leaping Roundhouse Kick, only to have it ducked and catches a Missile Dropkick from Xion! Xion manages to low bridge Black as he storms him, only to turn and get caught by Sydal, who flies and catches him with a Dragonrana, holding on tight for the spectacular finish, beating former Impact Wrestling Tag Team champions reDRagon indirectly!
Taryn Terrell defeats Candice LeRae with a Running Cutter after an intense but short back and forth display.
Austin Aries cuts a promo from home, and he looks banged up, but he goes on to explain things a little bit for the fans. He says he once looked up to AJ Styles, and he saw his true colors, and he did what he had to do. He took his opportunity, took his shot, and while he may not be particularly proud of smashing him in the face with the microphone weeks ago, he certainly made a statement. Unfortunately, where Aries looked to make a statement, Styles showed his true colors to the world and took things too far, trying to end his career. He didn't succeed, and at Bound for Glory, once again, Styles tried to do the unconscionable and tried to take him out once again, taking the coward's way out at Bound for Glory and running, getting the count out win. Aries says Styles days are numbered, and while he might be home healing now, he'll be back in action next week. Aries says he knows Styles has tucked tail and is trying to run to Japan, but that's fine, because he has to come back sometime, and when he does, Austin Aries will be there looking to gain championship gold, and more importantly, revenge.
Trent Barreta defeats Xavier Woods with a Running High Knee in what was a fairly short showing. Woods would actually hit most of the offense in this contest, but Barreta showed how quickly the tide could change, taking advantage of the overzealous Woods and then planting him right in the mush with his High Knee.
Drew Galloway defeats the debuting Alberto Del Rio to put a spoiler on the former World Heavyweight champion's coming out party of sorts. ADR came out very proud and put out a challenge, and the wily Scot accepted, looking to give the crowd a show! ADR would try to break Galloway's spirit, but ended up nearly getting his neck broken as Drew showed some ring skills, avoiding a takedown into a Cross Armbar, spinning Del Rio and catching him in a Double Arm DDT for the win! Del Rio would show his true colors, attacking Galloway after the fact, however, and then applying the Cross Armbar until the officials stormed out to break things up.
Madison Rayne, Ivelisse, and Allysin Kay defeated Becky Lynch & The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) after Rayne delivered the Rayne Check to Lynch to get the pinfall. After the match, Love catches Rayne with the Botox Injection, and it's clear the animosity between these two is still not settled.
The Heatseekers (Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks) defeated Zack Ryder & John Morrison in a competitive contest after Reks delivered the Burning Hammer to Ryder. After the match, Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith, Jr. made their debut, attacking the Heatseekers, with Archer delivering the Texas Tornado to Hawkins for good measure!
Low Ki w/ MVP defeated Chris Sabin after MVP got on the apron and distracted Sabin as he was looking for the All Hail Sabin, leading to Ki delivering a Running Double Knee that sent Sabin flying into the corner, followed by a Flying Double Stomp for the win!
3lite (Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley, and Ricochet) defeated AJ Styles & The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) by way out count out. Styles and the Young Bucks showed their opponents no respect here, raking their backs and bad mouthing them throughout, but 3lite showed their tremendous skills to overcome. In the end, Ricochet would deliver his dazzling 630 Senton to Nick Jackson, and the match looked over, only to have Matt reach in and grab Nick's foot, pulling him out, and all three men tucked and ran! Once again, Styles has orchestrated a finish by way of count out in the main event, and one has to wonder what Kurt Angle is going to do about it!
