Featured Michael Cole and William Regal on commentary; and included Rene Young on interviews with So Cal Val introducing the competitors. Show continues to air on local TV in Chicago and on syndication elsewhere.
Daniel Puder, Ricardo Rodriguez and Sean Waltman was tonight's judges with the score-cards should they be needed. Time-Limit's on all matches still at 10 minutes, with the Cyber TV Title being the only championship that can change hands by points decision should the match go the distance.
Chris Masters opens the show and destroys Alex Riley winning in 2:08 with the Masterlock; Masters gains momentum after his big victory over hated rival Samoa Joe on Fight Night. Masters who just about avoided another injury from Joe after the match on Fight Night shows tonight that he is in pretty good condition easily taking care of Riley who was accompanied by the rest of the Box Office, The Miz & Marsye. Masters was interviewed in-ring by Rene Young and said that he has heard what Samoa Joe has had to say over in Kentucky and has a challenge for him, another man who has been talking the big-un about the World s Title in Jay Lethal, and the NWA World Champion AJ Styles. Masters challenged all three men to a Fatal Four Way Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Title at Uncensored!
Up next we see Rockstar Spud and Hideo Itami backstage coming out of The Powers That Be Office; Both men recently complained to the higher powers in charge in Chicago about the way Trips runs things recently. Triple H walks out behind them angry. Trips tells them they may have got TPTB to put his Chief of Staff position on the line against their jobs, but he gets to pick the match and that will be a six-man tag match Triple H, Seth Rollins & Dolph Ziggler against Rockstar Spud, Hideo Itami and whoever they can get to join their cause, good luck!
Cheerleader Melissa w/Kia Stevens picked up a singles win over Serena Deeb in 4:47 by countout; Luke Harper continued his stalking of Serena Deeb but this time outright abducted her with the help of Family member Mark Briscoe. The duo used a cloth laced with something intended to send her to sleep and that's exactly what happened when Harper snuck up behind her and grabbed her with the cloth over her nose and mouth. Harper and Mark Briscoe dragged her away through the side door exit to the shock of everyone watching. This brought out an enraged Sammi Zayn who took the mic and told Harper and co that if they hurt Deeb they would have him to worry about!
Tyler Breeze complete with selfie-stick, built on his solid showing against Daniel Bryan recently, defeating CJ Parker in 5:20 with the Beauty Shot.
Kofi Kingston did an in-ring segment with the lights turned down and a shade of purple to set the mood. Kofi told Kevin Steen that when he did that cannon-ball out of the ring during their Heavyweight Title match at Fight Night which caused his countout loss, he hoped he learned the same lesson that Rey Mysterio learned. That doing such moves to pander to the fans entertainment, will do him no good. Not for the short term of his title reign and not for the long term of his health! Kofi told Steen there will be a rematch and it will be at Uncensored and that Steen can pick whatever stips he wants for the match but told him to choose wisely.
"The Messiah" Jay Briscoe beat Enzo Amore w/ Big Cass with the Jay Driller in 2:49. Jay was without Mark who had left the arena with Harper earlier, and this was originally scheduled to be a tag team contenders tourney qualifying match but was instead turned into a singles match, the winner would help his team advance; Briscoe told the crowd after his win that he is their new Messiah. Bray Wyatt forsaw his coming and let the world meet it's newest face of fear. Jay told the crowd and the fans at home not to worry about what will happen to Serena Deeb because he's sure Luke Harper will set her free, once he's grown tired of her that is and there's nothing white knight's like Sami Zayn can do about it. This again brought out a sprinting Sami Zayn, but Briscoe made his escape via the crowd. Edgy stuff from Jay Briscoe and his Family!
"The Legendary" Heath Slater downed Curtis Axel via split-points decision in 10:00. Close match between these two but Slater just edged it according to the judges. A rematch could be on the cards!
Kota Ibushi from NWA Union Pro in Japan made his stateside debut in Chicago, picking up a win over Fin Balor in what was a very close, hard hitting match in 9:42. Balor's partner Sheamus was not very supportive of his tag partner, saying he should not be losing to a newcommer like Ibushi no matter how talented he is! I'm thinking Ibushi is alot better than Sheamus is estimating here and I'm sure we will see Balor and Ibushi together in a ring again soon!
*Paul Heyman cut an insert promo and said his new Paul-Heyman-Guy Adrian Neville, the reigning, defending, ZG Champion deserves to have more of a spotlight here in Windy City, and he's going to as his manager, get him just that. Heyman challenged Austin Aries & Jay Lethal to turn up next week and have a tag team contest against his client Adrian Neville, and let's say Daniel Bryan?!; Resident judge tonight Sean Waltman got on the mic after this segment and told Paul Heyman that he and his client should watch their backs, because his man is already here and is ready and his name is the Uhaa Nation! This brought out Uhaa who livened up the crowd and told Neville and Heyman he would be watching the tag match with interest next week!
Gail Kim wins over Maryse with a Flying Dragon armbar; Kim had a scuffle with her tag partner on Fight Night Paige who blamed Kim for not being on the ball in their loss to Kia Stevens and Cheerleader Melissa.
In the main-event, Solomon Crowe retained his Cyber TV Title against The Miz in 7:24, Riley absent following his loss to Masters earlier and likewise Maryse. Crowe who has defected to Mid-Atlantic tapped into his tablet when Miz was getting the better of him and the lights went off. A few moments later the lights came back on and Crowe was in pinfall position on Miz. The ref counted and Crowe retains.
*Last Qualifying tag match announced for next SNL;
The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) vs The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara)
