Before the opening of the show, footage airs (taped last week) of Michael Titus coming out to take his place at the broadcast table. Both Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey seemed surprised as Titus was removed from his position last week. Titus tells them that he's here to save the broadcast because quite frankly Gilbert doesn't have what it takes and they should call him Dean "Over The" Hill. Hill asks is that right? At that point the ex cop gets up and scares Titus to his feet. The Rocky Mountain Mouth is apologetic as Dean just tells him repeatedly to leave. Titus backtracks to the door, finally dropping to 2 knees and flat out begging. Dean says he can be a man about this as Titus gets up and jumps for joy, screaming his trademark "YESSSSSS!". Dean says it doesn't mean he's back on the commentating team, he's just going to let him leave on his own accord. Titus turns to look at the door, refusing to leave until Dean just kicks him in the ass to push him into the door and send him tumbling out of Davis Arena. Perhaps the unceremonial end of Michael Titus here today? The opening airs.

Heavyweight champion: Elijah Burke
Tag Team champions: Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana
TV champion: Michael Hayes
Women's champion: ** vacant **
Commentators: Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey
Ring Announcer: Scarlett Bordeaux
Interviewer: Terry Boddie
The commentators welcome viewers to the show. The Saturday Night Special is only 10 days awa, 1 time only on iPPV with the huge main event of Elijah Burke defending the OVW championship against Jamin Olivencia, Rudy Switchblade, and CM Punk, Fatal 4 Way. Coming off last week's big 2 hour special, tonight's show promises to be a heated affair. Signed for tonight, matches include ...
- TV champion Michael Hayes & a partnert of his choice vs Eric Locker & Chase Owens, Owens to challenge Hayes at the SNS
- Tag Team champions Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana vs The Wild Boyz in a non title match
- Dylan Bostic vs Chris Silvio after what went down last week
- Ryan Howe vs Melvin Maximus
- Another first round match in the Women's Title Tournament
Kicking things off though is #1 contender to the Heavyweight Title and the man who will challenge The Pope Elijah Burke at the next Saturday Night Special on May 2 ...
Elvis Pridemoore vs Rudy Switchblade
Rudy Switchblade is joined for this match by fellow Blacklist member Shiloh Jonze. The commentators remind viewers of what happened last week with Switchblade claiming a forfeit win over John Cena before the 1 time surprise appearance of Dave Bautista. That not turning out quite as they had planned. The opposition here is "Red Cap" Elvis Pridemoore, a former OVW champion in his own right, albeit not under the same circumstances as the others mentioned. Switchblade has little trouble with this, even throwing Elvis out of the ring and distracting the referee while Shiloh sends Elvis into the ringpost. Back inside, Switchblade wastes little time as he catches Elvis with his finisher The RudyKO, a jumping cutter. He makes the cover, a win elementary at this point.
Rudy Switchblade defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 3:50 via pinfall after the RudyKO.
After the match, the 2 are not finished. Shiloh gets in and they start kicking him. Switchblade instructs Shiloh to hold Elvis as he jumps and hits a second RudyKO. Shiloh continues beating on the downed Pridemoore as Switchblade requests a mic.
Rudy Switchblade: See this? Just like I beat John Cena last week, this week I'm beating another punk white rapper wannabe. This is what would have happened had Cena actually had the guts to show up. I'm 1-0 vs Cena, and there isn't anybody past, present, future, that can stop me. And come the Saturday Night Special, just like I pinned Elijah Burke at Best In The World, I'll do it again. This time though, it'll be for the Heavyweight Title. Just the start of my own personal gold rush. As for Jamin Olivencia? I beat him before just like the rest of these names. CM Punk is the only name left. It seems like Christian Mascagni has a bit of a conflict of interests here. You represent The Blacklist in our legal affairs ... you represent CM Punk in his legal affairs. You need to make a choice and you need to make it by next week. If you don't, we'll be making the choice for you.

Ringside interview w/ Jamin Olivencia
From the back comes former OVW champion Jamin Olivencia. The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is standing by to ask about recent events and the upcoming rematch. Olivencia says that what happened at Best In The World was that he was beat, plain & simple. No excuses. CM Punk beat him. It happened once, but he will not let it happen again. Just like with Rudy Switchblade, you might beat him once, but he will come out on top in the end. And now at the Saturday Night Special, he has both of them at once, as well as The Pope Elijah Burke. That belt he's carrying around is on borrowed time because he might have slipped by with that briefcase, but he has yet to beat any of them in a real match, let alone all 3 at once. It doesn't matter which of them it is, but on May 2, that belt is coming home to where it belongs. Around the waist of Jamin Olivencia.
Women's championship Tournament First Round match:
Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs CJ Lane
Last week saw both Taeler Hendrix and Seleziya Sparx advance to the second round. Tonight on TV, Mary Elizabeth Monroe gets the chance, but like Hendrix must first contend with a returning former champion in CJ Lane. Lane seemed to have a chip on her shoulder, shoving Monroe at the bell and saying that she has taken her spot and she is taking it back tonight. Monroe was not about to let that happen though, but Lane gave some offense and bent the rules to her favor. Monroe would get the upper hand, eventually hitting the suplex. She rolled through and locked in the Rainbow Cross, getting the tap out for the win. Monroe joins Hendrix and Sparx in the semi finals, the final first round match to take place next week on TV with Rebel vs Jessie Belle.
Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats CJ Lane @ 4:37 via tap out tap to the Rainbow Cross.

Backstage segment w/ The Congregation
The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles is in a darkened room, joined by Altar Boy Jade Dawson. Last week they made it known that they were here to make the wrestler of OVW pay for their sins, the first of which is pride. In time all of OVW will pay, but it starts with the pride shown by 1 man. Miles holds up an 8x10 of Rump Thump, at which point Dawson brings a lighter to it and sets it on fire. Miles laughs, holding it before dropping it with a hallelujah.
Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana vs The Wild Boyz
After a successful title defense last week, Tag Team champions Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana exhibited some problems, possibly stemming from their 1 on 1 match in the Survival of The Fittest series. Meanwhile The Wild Boyz made their intentions clear, and tonight have themselves a non title match. Early on, no sign of problems between the champs, but things once again begin to fall apart as Cabana forces a tag on Compton and continues to work over Bud Dwight. Compton responds by forcibly tagging himself in at the first opportunity. Not wise though as he was left in position to take a dropkick from Dwight as The Wild Boyz started a comeback. EFD Eddie Diamond tagged in and prepped Compton for the Cripwalk Crossface, working over the arm. Compton managed to score a clothesline. Diamond went out for the tag, while Compton went to the corner, but realized what he was doing and decided against the tag. Cabana however was able to reach in and tag himself in. Compton responded by asking him what he was doing. Meanwhile as this went on, Dwight came from behind and rammed Cabana into Compton, taking Cabana back into a go behind roll up and scoring a 3 count in a big upset win for The Wild Boyz. Davis Arena cheers as the win puts the underdogs in position for a future title opportunity.
The Wild Boyz defeat Tag Team champions Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana in a non title match @ 6:24 when Bud Dwight pinned Cabana with a go behind.
After the match, the spotlight quickly comes off The Wild Boyz when Compton takes a mic and gets into the ring as his partner gets up at the ropes.
Cliff Compton: Ok, this stops now. Colt, we are the OVW Tag Team champions. Clearly there's a problem here, and the problem seems to be you're jealous that I pinned your shoulders to the mat in the Survival of The Fittest.
Cabana takes the mic.
Colt Cabana: Jealous? That's uh, that's new. Look, Mr. 1859. We go back, we are the champions, but jealous? No. You did beat me, but that's got nothing to do with it. The problem is your attitude of late and you thinking that you're better than me.
Compton asks for the mic back.
Cliff Compton: So I got an attitude problem? Is that what this is? Seems like we both see things differently here, so here's what I say. The Tag Team Title, May 2 we set that aside for the night. Saturday Night Special, me and you, 1 on 1, 1 more time. Throw everything to the side, no excuses. Better man on that night wins. What do you say?
Cabana nods his head. Dean says he's reminded of the term "good friends, better enemies" and that could be what we are seeing develop here. The team work has in itself turned into a rivalry between the partners. Gilbert says they had better settle their issues because a title match with The Wild Boyz won't be too far off.

Ringside interview w/ Rob Conway
From the back comes The Ironman Rob Conway. Terry Boddie asks on the status of Nick Dinsmore after what happened last week. Conway says that it's not good. He's going to be out weeks, months, possibly forever after what The East did. Jeremiah Plunkett has shown himself to be nothing but a coward, Jax Dane no better. So what Conway did was he went to Jim Cornette and asked for a tag team match at the Saturday Night Special. His partner will not be any regular partner. He went to the source. To beat The East, you have to look at somebody that's been there. Somebody that walked those halls of West Virginia with them. He found that man. On May 2, live on iPPV, it will be Plunkett & Dane vs Conway and ... Samoa Joe! Huge news as the big May 2 iPPV just got bigger.
Ryan Howe vs Melvin Maximus w/ Timmy Danger
Since aligning with manager Timmy Danger, Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus has been almost unstoppable, but up to the task today is Rockstar Ryan Howe. That is a task easier said than done as even getting Maximus off his feet has proved a daunting task for the OVW roster. Howe tries, but can't get much going as Maximus is able to put a quick stop to any momentum with power moves. Howe would start to make a comeback and manage to get Maximus down to 1 knee after a series of running clotheslines. Howe then hits the ropes for added momentum but instead got scooped up by Maximus and driven into the mat. 4M locked in the bear hug from there and Howe was left with no alternative but to submit. Maximus wins, but the biggest test yet is to come when he battles the former charge of manager Timmy Danger on May 2 at the Saturday Night Special, former Heavyweight champion Marcus Anthony.
Melvin Maximus defeats Ryan Howe @ 5:39 via submission to the bear hug.

Medical Minute w/ Dr. Asa Andrew
Last week, Nick Dinsmore was attacked, specifically the target being his knee. He discusses why this is significant as Dinsmore has a surgically repaired knee. The damage that was caused will require a new surgery. This may mean a longer recovery time above the normal 3 months, in fact it may even mean retirement. Time will tell what the future holds for Dinsmore.
Dylan Bostic vs Chris Silvio
Brought on by a crossing of paths last week when Silvio interfered in Bostic's match with Paredyse. Bostic took exception to Silvio's actions and tonight brings about a renewing of their rivalry from last summer. At least that was the idea. Before the match even starts, Silvio's valet Mary Jane distracts Bostic and allows for Silvio to come from behind with a chair and smack it across his back. The match won't even start as Silvio again goes to strike but referee Chris Sharpe steps in the way. Silvio throws it down as Sharpe bends over to slide it out to the floor. When he gets up though, Silvio is in his face! What's this about? It seems quite personal as Sharpe is apologetic and backing down. Against the ropes, Mary Jane gets on the apron with handcuffs and locks Sharpe in!
Silvio starts pointing his finger, telling Sharpe that he needs to control his woman. He then slaps him! Sharpe goes to 1 knee, but Silvio brings him up and rips his referee's shirt down the middle before slapping him again. Silvio then backs up and turns his back to Sharpe as if second guessing his actions. No. He turns back and lands the Psychodelic Superpunch that immediately drops Sharpe to the mat, arm dangling still cuffed to the top rope. Silvio starts kicking away and then drops down to start choking Sharpe when Bostic gets back in to make the save, but Silvio just gets out under the bottom rope. Suddenly from the back come Paredyse & Holly Blossom. Paredyse chases Silvio around the ring but backs off as Silvio takes off to the back with Mary Jane. Holly Blossom is in the ring as the commentators piece together why Sharpe was a target. He's her husband! Clearly this was a message sent to her for sticking her nose in his business at Best In The World. The family affair continues here and just continues to get more and more out of control.

Ringside interview w/ Jim Cornette
Terry Boddie is joined by the Director of Authority. The hot topic would be the actions of Chris Silvio before the break. Cornette says he will not tolerate this behavior anymore and effective immediately, Silvio is suspended from Ohio Valley! This gets cheering, but it also gets an appearance from Paredyse & Holly Blossom. Paredyse commends the action but asks Cornette not to do that because it means that they can't get their hands on him. Instead, sign a match, the 2 of them vs Silvio & Mary Jane for the Saturday Night Special. Cornette says he has to think about senior referee Chris Sharpe with this decision, the crew here, he can't allow it to go unpunished. Blossom says that first Silvio hit her sister, his wife, and while an accident, he has not changed his ways since. Now he's gone and attacked her husband Sharpe, and suspending him will only make it worst. Give them the match. Cornette pauses to think and says ok. They will get the match, but Silvio is still suspended until the SNS, and in addition will have a hefty fine to pay for what he did. Paredyse thanks him and says that he will personally make sure that Silvio pays for his actions.
Michael Hayes & a partner of his choice vs Eric Locker & Chase Owens
As announced off the top of the show, the TV Title match at the Saturday Night Special will be champion Michael Hayes defending against Chase Owens. Eric Locker enters the picture as the former champion, defeated at Best In The World by Hayes and a subsequent rematch on TV last week. Hayes was granted a tag team match tonight against the duo, his partner revealed at match as OVW Heavyweight champion Elijah Burke! No shortage of common problems for The Pope as he is dealing with The Blacklist and The East as is Hayes right now, having defeated Jeremiah Plunkett last week before the RudyKO from Rudy Switchblade after the match, who he faces for the title in 10 days at the SNS.
The match starts evenly, until Locker begins to focus an attack on the ankle of Hayes and he gets isolated. Last week he tried to injure him, and this week seems no exception. The commentators speculate that perhaps that is their goal, take Hayes out now and leave the TV Title to fight for amongst themselves. Owens however would rather fight in an attempt to prove himself, not winning his partner over in the process. Locker forces a tag and says he is the captain of the team, he is a former TV champion, Owens will listen to him! Owens says fine and steps out, but as Locker goes to take Hayes to the ropes to send him across, Owens tags himself back in! This brings out Shiloh Jonze. He tells Owens to know his place and listen to Locker! Hayes takes advantage of the distraction and manages to catch Owens with a jumping knee to the jaw. Locker takes a tag, but Burke manages the hot tag. He saves some for Owens and even Jonze when he gets onto the apron. Finally a kick to the midsection is followed by The Elijah Experience, a sitout facebuster. Burke covers Locker as the ref goes down and counts the 3.
Elijah Burke & Michael Hayes defeat Eric Locker & Chase Owens @ 9:41 when Burke pinned Locker after The Elijah Experience.
Big win for the Heavyweight champion and the TV champion. The focus quickly turns to the 2 Blacklist members getting in Owens' face. Jonze says that he failed them, but the bullying and possible beat down just brings out Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane from The East. A 2 on 1 turns into a 3 on 2, Plunkett telling them that they are The East and Jonze & Locker need to stand down before something bad happens. This brings out Rudy Switchblade to even the sides. Could we be about to get The East vs The Blacklist?! Switchblade turns the story to the outside as he talks to Plunkett. The problem is not them, it's Burke! They beat him last week, time to get revenge. Plunkett says what about Locker? Losing to Hayes last week and getting pinned by Burke tonight. He lost the match for them, The East is not the issue, The Blacklist is! Tensions high here. A reminder to come back next Wednesday, and the Saturday Night Special, 1 time only on iPPV on May 2. Elijah Burke, Rudy Switchblade, Jamin Olivencia, CM Punk, the Heavyweight Title. Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane vs Rob Conway & Samoa Joe. No shortage of action that night. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long.
Websclusive match #1:
Dapper Dan defeats Rump Thump @ 5:21 via pinfall with the German Suplex. Rump Thump had control of the match, but an appearance by The Pastor Disaster Stuart Miles & Altar Boy Jade Dawson proved to be enough of a distraction to allow Dapper Dan to catch him from behind and hit the big German suplex. A big win and maybe a bigger loss as Miles has targeted Rump Thump for what he says is the sin of pride and may be a thorn in his side going forward.
Websclusive match #2
Randy Terrez defeats Aaron Sky @ 4:51 via pinfall after a corkscrew moonsault. Another big win for Terrez after his return last week. The lucha inspired offense was enough to take Sky out, the commentators speculating that maybe Sky is distracted mentally by the return of former tag team partner Robbie Walker. Wonder no more as after the match, Walker was out and got in the ring but Sky exited, wanting no part of him today. Sooner or later though, Sky will have no choice but to confront his former tag team partner.
