The commentators welcome viewers to the show. The Saturday Night Special is closing in fast, this coming Saturday. 1 time only on iPPV with the huge main event of Elijah Burke defending the OVW championship against Jamin Olivencia, Rudy Switchblade, and CM Punk, Fatal 4 Way, plus the big announcement last week of Samoa Joe coming back to team with Rob Conway against Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane of The East. Last week closed with a tense moment between The East and The Blacklist, OVW's 2 biggest stables. Signed for tonight, matches include ...
- Elijah Burke & Michael Hayes vs Rudy Switchblade & Jeremiah Plunkett
- Rebel vs Jessie Belle in the final first round match in the Women's Title Tournament
- Rob Conway vs Jason Lee
- Elvis Pridemoore vs Melvin Maximus
Kicking things off though is an interruption ...
The Blacklist calls out Christian Mascagni
Last week, Blacklist leader Rudy Switchblade made his feelings known when it comes to the conflict of interest presented by legal representative Christian Mascagni. The attorney at law represents both the group and CM Punk, and both will be in the upcoming fatal 4 way at the Saturday Night Special, 1 time only on iPPV this coming Saturday. Fans boo as Switchblade takes the mic, flagged by Shiloh Jonze and Eric Locker behind him.
Rudy Switchblade: Alright, let's get down to business here tonight. What I'm not here to do is talk about John Cena. I'm not going to bring up how I beat him 2 weeks ago and I'm now 1-0 against him. I'm not going to bring up how he has ducked and dodged my challenge to him to show up here at the Davis Arena. What I am here to do is talk about my chance at becoming Heavyweight champion of OVW once again this Saturday. It will be myself, Elijah Burke of course, Jamin Olivencia, and CM Punk. The reigning champion and 3 former champions, all owed a rematch. My problem here comes from the latter of that group. More specifically it comes from Christian Mascagni having a duel investment in what happens here. So what I want right now is for Christian to come out, join us in this ring. You're either with us or you're against us. Get it over with now because we aren't going to let you have it both ways where I win or Punk wins, you just side with whoever comes out champion. No, you pick a side and you pick a side now. Me and Punk aren't friends. We aren't going to work together. I will do whatever it takes to regain that title.
Finally Mascagni comes out as the fans boo. He has his hands up, already apologizing from the aisle as he gets into the ring.
Christian Mascagni: Rudy, I understand. I understand where you're coming from. But you need to understand where I'm coming from. I am an attorney at law. I represent a lot of clients. It's not unusual for situations like this to come up, but I don't see why we can't come to an agreement. In legal terms, we call this a settlement.
Rudy Switchblade: I call this you trying to drag it out through litigation. If you had 2 clients, 1 hits another in a car, you can't represent both in court at the same time. Make a decision.
Christian Mascagni: Rudy, please. I-
And just like that, the resolution attempt is interrupted by the appearance of The East from the back. Last week these 2 sides had problems after the main event. Jeremiah Plunkett leads the way to booing, followed by The Vanilla Godzilla Jax Dane, with Chase Owens rounding up the rear, pushing "East Man" in the wheelchair. Plunkett gets in the ring and asks for the mic from Mascagni.
Jeremiah Plunkett: Thank you Christian. Thank you. Now, if we could cut the crap and get to what matters out here, that would be great! Forget your little 4 way, nobody cares. What people care about is me & big Jax here, we got a match with Rob Conway & Samoa Joe at the Special. We have a chance to finally rid OVW of Conway, show up a former World champion, and that brings us to tonight. Last week, your man there Shiloh Jonze, well, quite frankly, he screwed up! If not for him, Chase Owens would have beat Michael Hayes, something Eric Locker has never done. Instead Locker got pinned by The Pope, and we lost out on some mony from the winner's purse. But we're not out here to lay blame. What's done is done. What I would like is for you to step out of the tag team match tonight. It's me and you Rudy, against Elijah Burke & Michael Hayes. Big match. But let's just avoid the problems from last week. You step out, big Jax takes your place, and we do Chase a little favor here by beating Hayes like he's never been beat before. And in the process, we'll help you out by giving Burke something to think about. A little payback from 2 weeks ago when he took my championship from me. What do you say?
Rudy Switchblade: What do I say? You want me to step aside? Rudy Switchblade, Jeremiah Plunkett against Elijah Burke, Michael Hayes, I step aside for Jax Dane? Let me think about that for a minute here ... no! Tonight is my chance to show Burke that I mean business. Tonight is my chance to send shockwaves through the wrestling world like I did 2 weeks ago. Like I did at Best In The World in Survival of The Fittest. A match that you were in as well. A match that ... you lost.
Jeremiah Plunkett: Haha, don't get it twisted here. You didn't pin me son. I can tell you right now, you and me go at it, ain't no way you're putting my shoulders down. You put The East against The Blacklist, we come out on top. Got it?
Rudy Switchblade: Is that right? Well I guess we'll see later tonight who's better, won't we?
The fans start cheering as Director of Authority Jim Cornette is out in the aisle.
Jim Cornette: Hold on here, hold on. Am I dreaming right now? I must be because this is everything I've ever wished for. The Blacklist at odds with The East, Rudy Switchblade at odds with CM Punk, and Christian Mascagni in the middle of everything?! Christmas has come early for me. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to try my best to play Santa Claus for these fans and give a little present to them. While it will be the 2 of you against Elijah Burke & Michael Hayes later on, so I can't sign a 1 on 1 match between you 2. At least not tonight. But what I can do is sign a match between the 2 guys from last week against each other. I'm talking Chase Owens of The East against Shiloh Jonze of The Blacklist, 1 on 1, and that match is next!
The fans cheer as Cornette tries to capitalize on the divide between the 2 factions shown here. Both wrestlers like that as Switchblade continues arguing off mic with Plunkett. Mascagni tries to mediate, meanwhile Owens and Jonze ready for competition as they will take each other on after the break.

Chase Owens vs Shiloh Jonze
No sign of the rest of The Blacklist or The East, forced to the back by Jim Cornette over the break. Instead it is the 2 left 1 on 1 to settle their dispute from a week ago. It was Chase Owens teaming with Eric Locker when Locker's stablemate Shiloh Jonze emerged and tried to call the shots, only to cause a distraction that led to the team going down in defeat. The match starts with Jonze chastizing Owens and acting like he should respect him and advantages of the early exchange maybe prove that point. Owens however has counters for much of what Shiloh dishes out. Finally Jonze resorts to a thumb to the eye, at which point he starts to take advantage of Owens. He builds to an attempt at the mandible claw, but Owens kicks free. Owens makes a comeback that concludes with Jonze reversing a throw into the ropes and a clothesline attempt. Owens however ducks and as Jonze turns, he gets blasted in the head with the discus elbow finisher of Owens. He goes down and covers, taking the 3 for the win. Despite being treated as the lackey of The East by the other members, Owens has momentum on his side as he continues to impress and this Saturday, could become the new TV champion after his match with Michael Hayes. The commentators point out the irony of Jeremiah Plunkett losing his fake championship and now the man he treats as secondary could come up with gold at the SNS.
Chase Owens defeats Shiloh Jonze @ 6:52 via pinfall after the Roaring Elbow.

Ringside interview w/ Aaron Sky
Terry Boddie is at ringside to ask Aaron Sky about the recent reappearance of former tag team partner Robbie Walker. Injured 3.5 months ago, Sky had a change of attitude in his absence, something Walker doesn't seem to agree with. Sky says that Walker was always the weak link of their team and now that he's back, he's just jealous of him. Sky's done big things in his absence and is going places Walker never will, and he intends to make Walker's return a short one. At this point, Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner are out. Lamotta says that Sky is to blame for the disappearance of Shelly Martinez with his crazy stips. He says that unlike Sky, Shelly got the job done. Sky says yeah, Shelly got the job done on half the locker room, but now he's in charge. Lamotta asks what he intends to do about this Walker problem? Sky says not to worry. Whether Walker or The Wild Boyz, whoever, he will figure out the solution come the SNS this Saturday, they just need to trust him on it. They both agree, Mexicutioner somewhat reluctantly.
Women's championship Tournament First Round match:
Rebel vs Jessie Belle
The final first round match with Mary Elizabeth Monroe, Seleziya Sparx, and Taeler Hendrix having already qualified to advance to the semi finals. Both semi final matches we learn will take place at the Saturday Night Special with the final coming next week on TV, Monroe vs Sparx, and Hendrix vs the winner of this match. Jessie Belle is the most recent holder of the title aside from the tarnished reign of AJ Lee that led to the tournament, and considered a favorite. Rebel has pulled off several wins and it would definitely be an upset for her to advance. Belle as expected has the early control of the match, but Rebel is able to counter and keep up. Belle starts to build momentum, but perhaps underestimates Rebel and gets rolled up for a surprise small package, but Belle is able to kick out at 2. All of a sudden though from the back emerges, complete in the Jason style goalie mask, Crazy Mary Dobson. She drags a garbage can as neither women sees her. She cautiously slides in under the bottom rope as Belle gets Rebel in a side headlock. The referee takes notice, Belle turns around and gets whacked in the head with the can. Rebel looks up and meets a similar fate. The referee calls for the bell.
Rebel and Jessie Belle fought to a no contest @ 4:19 due to the interference of Crazy Mary Dobson.
This match will be thrown out as the referee escapes from the ring. Dobson made an appearance 2 weeks ago, getting in the face of the new NWA World Women's champion Heidi Lovelace, and it would seem here that she has probably drawn the attention of the champion once again with this display. What will she stop at to get the shot she seeks? Finally realized among all this, the no contest means that neither woman advances! Taeler Hendrix now gets a bye!? That means she automatically moves on to the final next week and will fight for the title, but whether against Mary Elizabeth Monroe and the dreaded Rainbow Cross, or fellow A List associate Seleziya Sparx, that will be decided at the Saturday Night Special in a few days time.

Medical Minute w/ Dr. Asa Andrew
Last week, we looked at the knee injury of Nick Dinsmore. This week comes the imminent return to the ring of Robbie Walker after a knee injury. Andrew describes that Walker hit the ring with such sudden impact that it led to a sprained ACL. Had it been a complete tear, that would have meant a significantly longer recovery time. Through proper rehabilitation, Walker's recovery should avoid any future problems as a result of this injury. But everybody should be careful as the knee is always prone to injury without proper attention in any activity.
Rob Conway vs Jason Lee
Big match coming up at the Saturday Night Special iPPV when The Ironman gets another shot at The East's Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane in an attempt to get revenge for their attack on longtime friend Nick Dinsmore, his tag team partner being former World champion Samoa Joe who spent time in "The East" outside of OVW. Today though, the challenge comes from long time veteran Jason "The Man" Lee. Perhaps trying to upstage Conway, Lee shoots the fans some poses from his body that has seen better years. After some early comedy, the action heats up. Lee gets in some offense, but this was a showcase for Conway. After building the momentum, he finishes Lee off with the whiplash finisher known as The Ego Trip. The referee counts 3 and Conway takes the match. The commentators wonder Conway's thoughts on what we saw earlier, the problems between The East and The Blacklist? Could we see him again later on tonight?
Rob Conway defeats Jason Lee @ 5:14 via pinfall after The Ego Trip.

Backstage segment w/ The Congregation
The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles is again in a darkened room, joined by Altar Boy Jade Dawson. He says that he warned us all of our sins, that we would pay. The pride of Rump Thump will be his downfall, just like it will be yours if you don't adhere to the good word. It begins on the source of so many of our sins - the world wide web. Amongst a den of filth, a hideout for the unrighteous and the lazy, he will make Rump Thump pay on the websclusive. Believe it. Hallelujah!
Elvis Pridemoore vs Melvin Maximus
This Saturday, we finally get the showdown that Kentucky has been waiting for. Melvin Maximus under the guidance of Timmy Danger will take on Marcus Anthony, former charge of the manager. After months of boasting, we will find out just how much of Anthony's record 9 month reign as OVW champion was because of Danger's managerial skills, how much was because of the sheer awesomeness that is Anthony. Tonight Maximus gets another display of his unmatched strength against Elvis Pridemoore. Not much to this match at all as despite attempts at offense, Maximus no sells everything thrown his way. Pridemoore just doesn't have enough, and eventually finds himself locked into the bear hug, submitting for his life.
Melvin Maximus defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 3:42 via submission to the bear hug.
After the match, manager Timmy Danger gets in as Maximus releases the hold. After raising his arm in victory, Danger wants to see more. It's not enough to win, Maximus is here to send a message to Anthony. Sure enough though, as Maximus lifts Pridemoore into his arms, he is interrupted. From the back, it's Marcus Anthony! Davis Arena goes wild as Black Zeus makes his first appearance since Best In The World. If there was ever any doubt that he was ready to go, he has answered it here. After a brief stare down, Anthony goes to the steps, going up 1 at a time as anticipation builds. We could get the showdown 3 days early! Anthony gets in, but Maximus & Danger get out. Not today says the manager as Anthony looks on. They do this on their time, they do it at the Saturday Night Special.

Because of the added interest in this card, a guaranteed sellout at the Davis Arena, it will be streamed 1 time only live on iPPV. That's right, Best In The World was not enough, it's being done again. Instead of watching a bunch of boring fights you don't care to see on the undercard of Mayweather vs Pacquiao, join us first instead for what will be a huge night of action, over with ample time to watch the fight.

- OVW champion Elijah Burke vs Jamin Olivencia vs Rudy Switchblade vs CM Punk, Fatal Fourway
Speaking of which, out from the back, it's Jamin Olivencia! Out to a big pop, Olivencia heads to commentary as he is not dressed to wrestle but rather help call the action tonight in the main event and give some insight as 2 of his opponents are here in competition. Olivencia says that he has taken some recovery time after a hectic schedule the previous 6 months. He is 100% and ready to go on Saturday, and there are 2 things he looks forward to. 1, getting back his OVW championship. 2, getting a second chance to put CM Punk's shoulders to the mat.
Elijah Burke & Michael Hayes vs Rudy Switchblade & Jeremiah Plunkett
With both Burke & Hayes having issues with The Blacklist & The East, last week saw them succeed against Eric Locker & Chase Owens. Tonight though, the 2 stables up their game by sending in their respective leaders in Switchblade & Plunkett. Switchblade pinned Burke to win Survival of The Fittest at Best In The World, but Burke rebounded the next night by beating Plunkett in a ladder match, so both have history with the new Heavyweight champion. Hayes on the other hand has an upcoming defense against Owens of The East, and after defeating Shiloh Jonze of The Blacklist earlier, the tension that exists from last week has only been heightened between them tonight.
The match begins with Switchblade & Plunkett trying to 1 up each other. First against Hayes, then against Burke. Neither has much success early on, leading them to blame each other for the problems. This brings out Blacklist and East members, Shiloh Jonze, Eric Locker, Chase Owens, and Jax Dane respectively, to keep the 2 separated on the floor. As this goes on, Hayes runs the ropes and Burke back body drops Hayes into a plancha on all 6 wrestlers to knock them down. With Plunkett back in the ring, Hayes continues the offense, but a distraction from Switchblade allows for a trip from Jonze on the outside. From there, Plunkett and Switchblade turn the momentum as the 1 up resumes. Finally Plunkett makes a blind tag and heads in, but Switchblade takes exception. As he turns back to Hayes, he eats a jumping knee to the jaw. Burke gets the hot tag and starts to go to work. Dane gets on the apron and takes an elbow, Jonze takes a right, Locker takes a right. Switchblade even takes 1 as well. He manages to give Plunkett the Elijah Experience, but at the 2 count, Switchblade makes the save. This brings in Hayes again to focus on Switchblade. He goes for a clothesline, but Switchblade pulls the top rope down and sends him to the floor instead. Burke brings Plunkett to the ropes to send him across, but Switchblade makes a blind tag. Burke catches Plunkett with a dropkick, but as he gets up Switchblade hits the RudyKO. He covers, picking up the 3 and the win for his team.
Rudy Switchblade & Jeremiah Plunkett defeat Elijah Burke & Michael Hayes @ 10:05 when Switchblade pinned Burke after the RudyKO.
For the second time, Switchblade pins Burke and it would seem he has his number heading into his chance at the Heavyweight Title this coming Saturday. Jonze & Locker enter and help him up, meanwhile Plunkett gets helped by Owens & Dane. Despite the win, Plunkett is upset as he felt that Switchblade stole the win from him. The Blacklist leader turned the tables by pointing out Owens doing nothing to help them. Plunkett turns his attention to Owens, but before anything more can go down, Olivencia stands at commentary and says he's seen enough of this, removing the headset. He steps towards the ring and removes his shirt. Before anything else can happen there, CM Punk's music hits! The fans go wild as Dean plays up that we could see the 4 way early! Gilbert however says they're out of time! Order the Saturday Night Special this coming Saturday on iPPV. Burke, Switchblade, Olivencia, Punk. Plus Samoa Joe! For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long.
Websclusive match #1:
Rump Thump defeats Stuart Miles @ 3:28 via DQ after interference by Jade Dawson. The match was just getting going after some early stalling by The Pastor of Disaster when Dawson took it upon himself to trip Rump Thump as he hit the ropes. The Congregation began a double team on Thump that ended with Dawson holding him up as Miles held the infamous book in his hand. Looking as if he was ready to read some chapters to Thump in a possible conversion attempt, he instead had Dawson drive him forward so he could smash him in the head with the book. Miles laughs afterward as the sinister organ music plays.
Websclusive match #2
Tag Team champions Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana defeat The No Class Connection in a non title match @ 5:35 when Compton pinned Leon Shelly after the Cliffhanger, a springboard Tornado DDT. Despite having a 1 on 1 at the SNS and having shown problems, the champions show why they are such in this outing. Afterward though as the referee is presenting the titles, Compton takes it upon himself to grab both championship belts and hold them up. Cabana is left to watch before having had enough and grabbing away 1 of the belts. Compton tells him to take it easy. Cabana turns as Compton holds up a belt as if to tease he will hit him, but Cabana turns back around. Compton plays it off like it's all good as Cabana just nods and leaves. Friends, tag team partners, and this Saturday, opponents.
