Dark match sees Rump Thump defeat Jade Dawson @ 4:13 via pinfall after The Rumper Stumper, a butt butt. Prior to the match Thump challenged The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles to take his Altar Boy's place, but Miles claimed that since we are observing the sabbath, he would not participate in sins like Rump Thump does each week out here. Despite that, Miles had no problem jumping Rump Thump from behind after the win. They would double team him and send him into the ropes, but Thump ducked a double clothesline and instead came back with 1 of his own. Miles goes down and rolls to the floor while Dawson gets up and gets tossed over the top rope to join him. The fans cheer as Thump dances as internal tests of the stream are conducted here as any last minute glitches are hopefully fixed and worked out before going live.
Dean Hill | Gilbert Corsey | Scarlett Bordeaux |
Gilbert Corsey and Dean Hill welcome viewers to the broadcast. A big day here in Kentuckiana with the Kentucky Derby going earlier, and then the big fight later on with Mayweather vs Pacquiao. In between, is there anywhere better than right here, watching Ohio Valley live? Gilbert says probably not as the reason this Saturday Night Special is being put on iPPV is due to the sold out Davis Arena, the expected interest outside of Louisville what with both Samoa Joe and CM Punk competing tonight, albeit in different matches. First, it will be Rob Conway looking for revenge against East members Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane, with help from the inside as he will have former World champion Samoa Joe as his partner. He was in the East himself, he knows what they can do, but The East have shown they will stop at nothing for the win. And then, the main event. 4 wrestlers, 1 championship. CM Punk, Jamin Olivencia, Rudy Switchblade, all getting their guaranteed rematch tonight when they all challenge Elijah Burke for the OVW championship in a Fatal Fourway, first pinfall or submission wins. The belt has been a hot potato with 3 title changes in the last 2 months, will that trend continue?, or can Burke defy the odds and walk out with the gold intact here tonight? Enough talk though as they send it up to Scarlett Bordeaux for the ring introductions of the opening match.

Aaron Sky | Raul Lamotta | The Mexicutioner | Deonta Davis | Leon Shelly |
Big 10 man tag kicks us off tonight. The recent history sees the departure of Shelly Martinez last month as a source of problems with Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner blaming Aaron Sky, who was dealing with his own problems in a returning ex tag team partner Robbie Walker. Not wanting to jeopardize the backup, Sky assures the 2 that he would find partners for tonight, bringing The No Class Connection in. Only 1 problem here. No sign of Sky as the introductions go. Instead, out comes The Man Jason Lee! The commentators speculate that Sky has been running scared from Walker and has clearly just left his team high & dry. The 10 wrestlers get some limited time to display what they can do, with an emphasis on Walker in his first match back from the knee injury. The finish comes with all 10 wrestlers in the ring leaving the referee to clear it out. The Man is legal and left standing, thinking he's alone. He hits a bicep flexes and starts to make out with his own arm, not realizing the other legal man was behind him. He stops and senses somebody behind him, turning to get taken down by EFD. Diamond locks in his finisher, The Cripwalk Crossface, and Lee has no choice but to furiously tap out. Big win for the babyface team here as The Wild Boyz will continue their quest toward the Tag Team Title after a non title win on TV a week and a half ago, while Walker will have to wait another day for Sky and his revenge.
Ryan Howe, The Wild Boyz, Randy Terrez & Robbie Walker defeat Raul Lamotta, The Mexicutioner, The No Class Connection & Jason Lee @ 7:38 when Eddie Diamond made Lee tap out to The Cripwalk Crossface.

Dylan Bostic | Dapper Dan |
Unadvertised match continues with the recently turned fan favorite Dylan Bostic to take on the larger Dapper Dan. It was just a few weeks ago on the last iPPV where Bostic proved himself in the hardcore match with Trailer Park Trash. While a former TV champion already, hanging in there in TPT's own match and taking the win seemed to earn Bostic new found respect. This match allowed Bostic to get some more crowd support in the underdog role from the size mismatch. Dapper Dan controls a lot of the match, but Bostic won't quit. Despite several 2 counts, he avoids defeat and makes a comeback. Bostic would then size up the Dapper one, jumping up from behind to grab the head and drive them back with a double knee backbreaker. Bostic covers as the referee counts, picking up the 3 and the win.
Dylan Bostic defeats Dapper Dan @ 5:06 via pinfall after a jumping double knee backbreaker.
Bostic picks up a big win, but gets no time to celebrate. From the back comes Flash Flanagan with a kendo stick. We saw the attack 3 weeks ago on his former tag team partner TPT, feeling he shamed himself by respecting Bostic after the match. Flash has none as he turns Bostic and drives the kendo stick to the face. Bostic goes down and Flash starts to repeatedly hit him with the stick. Finally Flash stops as the referee gets on 1 knee in between them. A point has been made here today as we get signs of the old Flash tonight and that could spell even more trouble for Bostic in the very near future.
Backstage Interview
Terry Boddie | Rudy Switchblade |
Backstage, The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is joined by Rudy Switchblade. A rematch at the Heavyweight Title almost 2 months in the making, with momentum seemingly on the side of The Blacklist leader.
Rudy Switchblade: "When you look up momentum in the dictionary, it should have my name as the definition Terry Boddie. I'm so sick and tired of everybody around here treating me like I'm supposed to be some sort of rising star, on the cusp of greatness. I've got a newsflash for everybody. It's not when, it's now! It's today! You want to talk about Elijah Burke, ok, let's talk Elijah Burke. Let's talk somebody that used a briefcase to cash in on an unsuspecting champion 3 weeks ago. Let's talk how earlier in the night, I pinned Pope's shoulders to the mat. Let's talk how I did it again this past Wednesday. When I won that title, I did it in the ring, face to face, just like how I'll do it tonight. I have Burke's number and his time is running out. Just like it's running out for John Cena and his reign as North American champion. You know, I'll at least give Burke some credit in that he has the guts to show up here. Cena had the chance to look me eye to eye, but he has people protecting him. They know what would happen if him & I were in the ring at the same time. But after tonight, he'll have no choice. He'll have to fight me when I become the new OVW Heavyweight champion, again. And Elijah Burke, Jamin Olivencia ... CM Punk? Prepare to be Blacklisted!"
Women's Championship Tournament Semi Final match
VS | ||
Mary Elizabeth Monroe | Seleziya Sparx |
The last few weeks have seen the first round of the Women's championship tournament, the title vacated back in mid March. The final is on the next edition of OVW TV, leaving the semi finals for tonight. Taeler Hendrix got a bye thanks to the Rebel vs Jessie Belle match being thrown out. That means she has already advanced to the final with the commentators noting the interesting possibility where she could end up paired with fellow A List associate Seleziya Sparx. Mary Elizabeth Monroe has come too far to go down without a fight though. Both women want this win, and both give it their all. Sparx would avoid the dreaded Rainbow Cross with a rope break and then look to finish Monroe off with the Spiral Bomb after working her over. Monroe however blocked the move when Sparx started spinning and instead took her over with a hurricanrana, rolling through to pull the head up and lock it in. The Rainbow Cross is applied mid ring with no alternative for Sparx but to tap! The fans cheer as Monroe gets the win and now moves on to TV where she will face off with Taeler Hendrix, winner to become the new OVW Women's champion.
Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Seleziya Sparx @ 6:41 via tap out to The Rainbow Cross.

Cliff Compton | Colt Cabana |
A rarity here as the OVW Tag Team champions are in action, but not as a team. Rather they are against each other. The problems started with a random drawing in the first round of Survival of The Fittest that saw Cliff Compton defeat Colt Cabana. Ever since then, it has been who can top who, leading to a non title loss to The Wild Boyz a week and a half ago. Now tonight, the 2 settle their differences so they can resume a normal partnership as champions. The match starts off very much in the spirit of competition, trading holds, even applauding the work of their opponent at times. Cabana offers a handshake after an armdrag takedown by Compton. Cabana returns the favors leading to a more reluctant handshake that provides the backdrop for Compton to pull Cabana into a side headlock. The action heats up with the tone now set for a more competitive bout. Cabana goes for the Colt 45, double underhooking Compton up, but he is able to break on the shoulders and drop behind Cabana. As Cabana turns, Compton kicks him in the midsection and puts on the front facelock. He steps up to the middle rope to springboard off into a Tornado DDT, but Cabana blocks it by shoving Compton off instead. As he lands, he steps towards Cabana, who small packages Compton and holds him down for the 3 count and the win.
Colt Cabana defeats Cliff Compton @ 12:29 via pinfall with a small package.
After the match, Compton seems angry about the loss. The referee gets the Tag Team championship and hands 1 belt to each competitor. Cabana just wants to put it in the past as he extends the hand to Compton. Mr. 1859 is a bit reluctant here, even teasing leaving the ring. The fans get to him though and he finally shakes the hand. But he is sure to let Cabana know off mic that he had him if he had hit the Cliffhanger. Cabana says ok, and Compton takes it a step further pointing out they've both won once now. Cabana wants no part of a third match though and just seems to suggest they should focus on the Tag Team Title. Compton agrees, though a look behind Cabana's back indicates it might be with reluctance.
Backstage Interview
Terry Boddie | Jamin Olivencia |
Backstage, The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is joined by Jamin Olivencia. Having lost the title 3 weeks ago to CM Punk at Best In The World, tonight is his chance at redemption and to get it back.
Jamin Olivencia: "Everywhere that I go over the last 3 weeks, people ask me about Best In The World. They point out to me that I got pinned by CM Punk clean in the middle of the ring. They tell me I'm no longer the OVW champion. You think I don't know that Terry Boddie? You think it doesn't eat me up inside every second of every minute of every day? I went into Best In The World to make a statement, and that was not made in defeat. Tonight though, I have a second chance. Not only can I regain the title, MY title, but I can avenge the loss by pinning CM Punk himself. I bounced back last time that Rudy Switchblade beat me, and I intend for tonight to be no different. As far as The Pope goes, I'm not going to discredit his win like Switchblade did. He won that title fair and square. That's what the briefcase is. But he didn't do it over me, and had he tried, there would have been a very different story told on that night. So I have a challenge to you Elijah Burke. You want to prove yourself tonight? You want to show people you deserve that title? Put my shoulders to the mat to do it. You couldn't do it a year ago, and you won't do it now. Tonight, Jamin Olivencia regains the OVW Title!"
TV Title match
VS | ||
Champion Michael Hayes | Challenger Chase Owens |
Winning the TV Title 3 weeks ago at Best In The World, there is no rest for Michael Hayes as he faces the rising challenge of Chase Owens of The East. Arriving in Ohio Valley with a lot of acclaim to his name, Owens has thus far been undefeated, including wins over names like Nick Dinsmore, Ricky Morton, Metal Master, and this past Wednesday over Blacklist member Shiloh Jonze. Hayes is not without problems with The Blacklist, having won the title from Eric Locker after a series of matches. Tonight, Hayes has to respect Owens' skills if he is to make any ground here and the early going shows just that. While Owens gets the upper hand early, Hayes shows the heart that got him here by fighting through and figuring out Owens and managing to counter what gets thrown at him. They go back and forth with the first near finish coming when Owens goes for the Roaring Elbow. Hayes however ducks it and catches Owens from behind into the cobra clutch before dropping him to the mat in the Liberty Lock. Owens however makes the ropes to draw a break. Later on, Owens is running the ropes, Hayes leapfrogs but lands awkwardly due to the prosthetic. Turning late, instead the 2 butt heads. Neither goes down as Owens shoves Hayes back first into the ropes and catches him coming back with the Roaring Elbow. He covers as the ref counts, but only gets a 2. Owens nearly takes the TV Title, but Hayes shows that second to none never say die attitude. Just then though from the back come Blacklist members Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker! They hit the ring and start attacking the 2 as the ref calls for the bell.
TV champion Michael Hayes and Chase Owens fought to a no contest @ 9:15 due to the interference of Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker.
Locker goes after Hayes while Jonze goes after Owens. A lot of history here with The Blacklist members looking to get some revenge after being left off this card. Locker lifts Hayes up to go for the Hurt Locker, but Owens fends off Jonze and clips the leg. Owens then clotheslines Jonze out to the floor. As Locker gets up, Hayes catches him with a jumping knee, bringing Locker's jaw down with him as he grabs the head. The jaw jacker sends Locker rolling out to the floor. The referee hands Hayes the TV Title with the match declared a no contest, and while Owens made the save, that's about it. He leaves the ring, likely upset at the outcome, though the commentators make mention he has to be in line for a rematch after coming so close, plus he was never defeated here tonight.

Paredyse | Holly Blossom | Chris Silvio | Mary Jane |
Probably the most intense rivalry on this show, the history is very detailed going back some 5 years when Paredyse & Silvio teamed as Totally Awesome under the names of The Kamikaze Kid & Sucio. After a break and feud, the 2 went their separate ways but were brought back together last October when Paredyse gave Silvio a concussion in the King of The Valley ladder match, putting him out of action for 2 months. Silvio then used that concussion to defeat Paredyse in February, faking an injury. In March, Silvio's wife Hannah Blossom would come out to try and talk sense into him, but the segment ended with Silvio punching her when Paredyse ducked with her unknowingly behind him. The climax came 3 weeks ago with a Dog Collar match that saw Holly Blossom avenge her sister, helping to fend off Mary Jane. Silvio's response was an attack on her husband, referee Chris Sharpe. Bringing us to here.
Much of the match is spent with Paredyse and Silvio in the ring. Mary Jane wants no part of the Blossom twin as she avoids the tag. Holly however takes a tag to face Silvio, her own brother in law, and reprimand him for what he did to her sister, his wife. Silvio is not going to do this, but Holly tells him this isn't about wrestling, but admitting mistakes. Silvio says fine, but it's all aploy as he grabs her and brings her to the corner, tagging Mary Jane as he holds Holly in place. Mary Jane gets in some cheap shots, but immediately tags back out at the first sign of trouble. The referee calls for Paredyse to get back in, which Silvio obliges having already worn him out earlier. An error on the Psychodelic Superpunch however allows Paredyse to make a comeback when he gets out of the way. He eventually hits the Long Kiss Goodnight, but tags in Holly! She comes in, wanting a piece of Mary Jane. Silvio rolls out to make her legal as Holly grabs her and flips her in over the top rope. Cat fight style goes down with Paredyse stepping in to break them apart. The referee focuses on getting Paredyse out as from the back comes Hannah Blossom! She gets in the ring and with her sister, hit the Blossom Bomb onto Mary Jane. Holly rolls out as Hannah covers with the referee turning around. He counts 3 unaware of the switch, not that it matters much here.
Paredyse & Holly Blossom defeat Chris Silvio & Mary Jane @ 10:32 when Hannah Blossom pinned Mary Jane after a Blossom Bomb.
The Blossom Twins use twin magic to take the win as Holly gets revenge on Mary Jane, and so too does Hannah Blossom. Silvio goes down in defeat to his own wife here today and Dean says that hopefully that will teach him a lesson and set him straight going forward. Gilbert fears that it could just send him further off the rails. Meanwhile The Blossoms celebrate the win, a 1 time return here after their departure in December, and perhaps a final farewell to the Davis Arena fans as they get to go out on top with a win for themselves. The commentators do stop short at saying this is the end of Paredyse and Silvio, feeling that if the Dog Collar match 2 weeks ago didn't end the feud, a mixed tag tonight where neither factored in the decision likely will either.
Backstage Interview
Terry Boddie | CM Punk |
Backstage, The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is joined by CM Punk. This marks the first chance anybody has had to hear from Punk after Best In The World when he held the OVW Title all too briefly before losing it to The Pope Elijah Burke.
CM Punk: "No, no, no, see, that's where you're wrong. I didn't lose the OVW Title 3 weeks ago. I had it stolen from me. You fail to include several important details. 1, I beat Jamin Olivencia clean in the ring. 2, Elijah Burke used some stupid briefcase after I had just fought for a half hour. 3, and maybe most important, that coward Christopher Daniels coming out to distract me. I gave him the chance to win with honor and come out of retirement to finally fight me, but what else is new because he said no. I took care of him though and you'll notice that you haven't seen him since either, damn sure not seeing him tonight. He won't show his face again after I gave him the Go To Sleep. Jamin Olivencia can't beat me, Elijah Burke face to face in a real match can't beat me, and as far as Rudy Switchblade goes, I've heard his little comments. You talk a big game against a guy not here. Saying it about John Cena's 1 thing. He's almost as pathetic as Daniels. But he doesn't dare say that about me because he knows what would happen. And I'm going to show him tonight in that ring when I win back the OVW Title. This time though, I might just hold onto it. I realized that holding that belt gives me a piece of cheese in my elaborate mouse trap, and in time the mouse will come. Tonight is about proving beyond any shadow of a doubt, CM Punk is still ... best ... in ... the world."

Marcus Anthony | Melvin Maximus |
Manager Timmy Danger is Geppetto to his wrestlers' Pinocchio, pulling the strings. Marcus Anthony grew tired of it, leading to a forced suspension several months back. In his place, Danger eventually landed on Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus, finding a bigger and stronger competitor to do his bidding. So far the results have been a success, but a month ago Danger was surprised when Jim Cornette revealed Anthony's contract was up and he was now a free man from the manager's control. Anthony came for Maximus, and the 2 butted heads at Best In The World in Survival of The Fittest, both eliminated early in a no contest. Tonight though it's 1 on 1, the showdown that Louisville has been waiting for.
The match starts off very much a power display. Each man trying to stand their ground. There is no denying the size and stength of Maximus as he withstands shoulderblocks from Anthony, but it's Anthony that gets the crowd going when he's able to stand his ground against 4M. Danger instructs Maximus to challenge him to a test of strength, but Anthony is understandably leery of this. As he goes to lock hands, Maximus head butts him and goes on the early offense. Firing off stiff forearm shots, Maximus turns his focus to the ribs, no doubt for the bear hug. He finally fires Anthony into the turnbuckles and charges in for a corner splash, but Anthony moves. Maximus hits hard and Anthony starts to take advantage. Several clothesline attempts rock him, but finally a running one takes Maximus off his feet. Anthony is in control of the action, looking to hit the Gamma Punch. Can he get Maximus up into the suplex though? We'll never know as Danger gets on the apron and Anthony releases Maximus to go over. He grabs the manager to a pop but Maximus is there to make the save as he hits Anthony from behind. Maximus takes Anthony and puts him in the bear hug! Nobody has yet to survive this hold. Anthony fights on, despite injured ribs. After several rights, he finally breaks free. As Maximus turns away, Anthony locks in the Crimson Omen! The full nelson is applied, but how much did Maximus take out of him? Maximus powers himself free and then turns back into the bear hug. Anthony fights, refusing to tap ot submit. He has no alternative though and maybe the pain is just too much because Anthony seems to go out. The referee checks the arm and it's limp. That's it.
Melvin Maximus defeats Marcus Anthony @ 8:54 via ref stoppage in the bear hug.
A huge win here for Maximus as Danger gets in and instructs his man to reapply the hold. The referee tries to step in but Danger will have none of it. Maximus gets Anthony back to his feet and locks it in again. Danger eggs him on before finally Maximus releases the hold. Anthony drops to the mat and to add insult to injury, Danger puts a foot on Anthony's chest!? As Anthony clutches his ribs, Danger holds up an arm in victory as Maximus applauds. The commentators call this a pathetic display by the manager, and one that will certainly only further entice Anthony. But there is no denying the attributes of Maximus as he puts down the man that held the OVW Title for a record 9 months here tonight, and could a title shot now be in his future?

Rob Conway | Samoa Joe | Jeremiah Plunkett | Jax Dane |
The feud with Rob Conway and The East got personal when they targeted the surgically repaired knee of long time tag team partner Nick Dinsmore a few weeks ago, putting him on the shelf. This left Conway without support against the pair, but not for long. Conway seeked out help from an unlikely source, somebody that has been on the inside of the group and knows how they operate first hand - former NWA World champion Samoa Joe. The 2 share a recent past with Joe coming to Conway's aid several months back and the 2 seemingly setting up a future title match, but Joe's loss to AJ Styles interrupted those plans. Coming off a loss at the recent Uncensored in the 4 way World Title match, Samoa Joe looks tonight to pick up a valuable win and maybe move towards a 1 on 1 opportunity.
The match begins with Conway and Plunkett, but when Dane comes in, he wants to test himself. Samoa Joe tags in and the 2 go toe to toe, with Dane coming out on the losing end of things. Plunkett takes the tag as the East leader to show Dane how it's done, but fairs little better. With the team in control on Plunkett, Conway takes the tag, but it isn't long until The East have control after Dane pulls down the top rope as Conway goes in while Plunkett draws the referee's attention. From there the double teaming on Conway begins while Joe remains unable to do anything, except occasionally try and get in but only serve to take the ref's attention away and let The East resort to rule breaking. Finally though, Conway catches Plunkett coming off the ropes when he telegraphs a back body drop and instead connects with The Ego Trip. Both wrestlers are down, but not for long as Dane takes the tag, but he's unable to stop the hot tag. Samoa Joe gets in and the fans go wild as he starts working over Dane. Plunkett takes a right hand to go out to the floor. The Musclebuster connects on Dane, but Plunkett manages to break it up at 2. Conway gets in and takes care of Plunkett while Joe waits for Dane to get up and locks in the Coquina Clutch. Dane fights, but eventually goes out. The referee calls for the bell as Conway gets some revenge on the pair here tonight, thanks to the help of Samoa Joe.
Rob Conway & Samoa Joe defeat Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane @ 14:20 when Joe put Dane out with the Coquina Clutch.
Backstage Interview
Terry Boddie | Elijah Burke |
Backstage, The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is joined by Heavyweight champion Elijah Burke. Mere moments from now, it's all on the line. Not 1 challenger, but 3. All former champions. The odds are against The Pope leaving champion tonight.
Elijah Burke: "And that's alright with The Pope. Ya see somethin' Terry Boddie, Pope is all about defying the odds. Pope is all 'bout proving the naysayers wrong. Entering tonight, it seems like there's a lot of 'em. A lot of people want to count Pope out before the bell has even rang to start the match. They see Rudy Switchblade, pinning me twice in the last 3 weeks. They see CM Punk, the man that beat me at Retribution back in January. They see Jamin Olivencia, the man that has had a stranglehold on this belt the 6 months before I walked out with it. All I see though is me. I see the Heavyweight Title. I see The Pope showing everybody tonight why I am where I'm at. I didn't win this by accident, but just to show everybody that, I'm gonn' go out there tonight, and I gonn' beat 1 of 'em. I can't beat all of 'em, but I can beat 1. And when that's done man, bring it on. There's enough of this to go 'round. Whether I beat Jamin, Punk, or Switchblade, I'm leaving tonight still OVW champion and you wanna know why? Cause Pope is pimping! Believe it."

Champion Elijah Burke | Challenger Jamin Olivencia | Challenger Rudy Switchblade | Challenger CM Punk |
New OVW champion The Pope Elijah Burke faces 1 of the toughest tests any champion ever has early in this reign as he defends against not 1, but 3 former champions here. Rudy Switchblade is owed a rematch from when he lost the title at the March Saturday Night Special, Jamin Olivencia is owed a rematch from when he lost the title at Best In The World, and CM Punk is owed a rematch from when Burke cashed in his guaranteed title shot only minutes after he took the belt from Olivencia. Add to it that Olivencia beat Burke last July in an Ironman match, Punk beat Burke at Retribution, and Switchblade pinned Burke twice, first in the Survival of The Fittest match and then again this past week on TV. The odds are against Burke leaving as champion here, but he is not 1 to shy away from the competition. All 4 wrestlers are in the ring at the same time, first pinfall or submission wins.
Right off the bell, Burke goes after Switchblade while Punk jumps from the ring. Olivencia however is right after him and surprises Punk on the floor. A series of right hands is followed by Punk getting slammed face first into the announce desk. He then rolls Punk in, who stands and turns into a right from Burke. The Pope sends Punk into the ropes and catches him with a back elbow. Olivencia comes in and together with Burke, they send Switchblade into the ropes to hit a double clothesline. Punk gets the same treatment before Olivencia takes him and Burke takes Switchblade to opposite corners. They then try to Irish whip the 2 into each other but Switchblade reverses Burke, who charges into Punk with a clothesline. Switchblade runs at Burke, who ducks and meets a leaping Olivencia for a clothesline to take him down. With Burke and Olivencia left standing, Switchblade and Punk roll out to the floor. Burke stands by the ropes as Olivencia charges and gets back body dropped over the top rope onto the 2, although Punk manages to step aside. He motions to the crowd how smart he is as Burke waits for him to turn back around, and then slingshots himself over the top rope onto him.
Olivencia is up first and has Switchblade, rolling him into the ring under the bottom rope. He picks up Switchblade and suplexes him to the mat before heading to the ropes. He climbs up top, but Burke is in and picks Switchblade up. Burke sends him into the ropes and hits a back body drop as Olivencia looks on from the top rope. He misses Punk getting to the apron and kicking him down to the floor. Punk then adjusts and waits for Burke to come in, at which point he hits him with a forearm shot. Punk then leaps up to springboard off the top rope with a clothesline. Switchblade tries to cover, but Punk shoves him off at the 2. Punk covers, but Switchblade shoves him off right away. The 2 get up and start to argue. Punk shoves Switchblade and reminds him who he is. Switchblade backs down, but when Punk goes to pick up Burke, he hits him from behind. Switchblade takes them and tries to butt their heads together, but they both elbow Switchblade in the gut. Burke with a right, sends him into Punk's right hand, back into Burke's. Punk lifts Switchblade up from there into the fireman's carry for the GTS, but Switchblade kicks free to drop behind. He then shoves Punk into Burke to level him with a forearm. Punk turns back into Switchblade grasping for the RudyKO!
Facing certain doom, Punk manages to avoid the move as he instead shoves Switchblade off into a clothesline from Olivencia. He doesn't stop there as he charges through in a line, taking out Punk with a clothesline, and then Burke with one as well. Olivencia covers Burke, but he kicks out at 2 to send Olivencia on top of Punk! That covers end at a 2 when Switchblade throws Olivencia off and covers himself for a 2. Burke is up and kicks Switchblade to break up that count. This match is wild action so far with no man having the advantage so far. Burke grabs Olivencia as he gets up and sends him into the ropes, leapfrogging over and going for a hiptoss. Olivencia counters by ducking under for a backslide. At 2, Switchblade kicks him, all the while Punk has went outside for a breather. Switchblade brings Burke up and tosses him out to the floor so he can focus on Olivencia. Dean points out on commentary that the last time Switchblade won the title, it was by defeating Olivencia, although Gilbert counters that the last time Olivencia won the title, it was regaining it from Switchblade. That being the last time the 2 met for the title.
Switchblade works over Olivencia, wanting to waste little time with the 1 on 1 opportunity here. He focuses his offense onto the lower back, lifting him up into a side suplex position and dropping him across the knee. Switchblade then goes to the legs where he looks to apply a Walls of Jericho style Boston crab, his once finisher. Olivencia fights the turn, managing to instead use his leg strength to flip Switchblade sideways. As they get up Switchblade charges but Olivencia ducks and leaps to turn and catch Switchblade turning back to him with a big clothesline. They get up and Olivencia does it again. Now Switchblade is getting up at the corner for Olivencia to come running in with a knee to the face. Switchblade stumbles down as Olivencia heads up to the top rope, jumping off with his 180 turning splash. He covers, but only gets a 2 when Punk rakes his eyes from the outside on his way back in.
Punk grabs Olivencia and lifts him up into a double underhook backbreaker, looking to capitalize on the work done by Switchblade. Punk covers, but Olivencia kicks out at 2. Burke is back on the apron as Punk goes to hit him but Burke blocks it and forearms Punk back. He charges back but Burke levels a shoulder to the midsection. With Punk hunched over, Burke flips over the top rope into a sunset flip. Punk avoids going down as he reaches for the ropes, but instead just drops down with his knees onto Burke's shoulders. 2 count before Burke completes the sunset flip. Another 2 count as Punk kicks Burke's head and rolls through to his feet, only to have his back to a schoolboy from Olivencia. Punk kicks out at 2. As they get up, Olivencia leaps up for the Standing O, but as he hooks the bodyscissors, his head is exposed to Switchblade jumping off Burke on his hands and knees into a huge RudyKO jumping cutter! That's got to be it as Burke has unbeknownst to himself, literally given Switchblade the platform to hit his finisher. He covers ...
... 1
... 2
... NO!
Burke manages to dive in and break it up. All 4 wrestlers are down at this point in what is turning into an all out war. Burke and Punk are respectively up first. Punk gets a 2 before Switchblade breaks it up. Switchblade brings Punk to his feet and but wastes a bit too much time maybe as Punk gets behind him and takes him over with a German suplex. Burke is to his knees, taking a Shining Wizard from Punk. Olivencia gets to a knee and gets the same. Punk waits as Switchblade likewise gets to a knee, hitting him with a Shining Wizard, completing the trio and leaving all 3 down. Punk is here to win though as he heads outside and goes up to the top rope. He raises his arms in his tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage, leaping off with a flying elbow smash for Switchblade. Olivencia is in to break up the count. Burke however is not going to let Olivencia take this as he is quickly in afterward and sends him into the ropes, connecting with a standing dropkick. Punk gets up and Burke goes for a dropkick, but he side steps the move to send Burke crashing to the mat. Punk immediately picks up Burke and lifts him up on the shoulders in the Fireman's carry, dropping him onto the knee. The Go To Sleep strikes again! Punk however does not cover as he sees Olivencia getting up. With the other 2 down, he kicks Olivencia's legs with Muay Thai style kicks. He then pulls Olivencia in and locks in the Anaconda Vise! Nobody's around to break this up! Can Punk get the submission and become the champion?! Olivencia looks to avoid tapping, but it's a long way from the ropes where they are. Just like that Switchblade is up, and he grabs the legs of Olivencia and turns him into the Walls of Jericho he tried earlier. Olivencia goes to his back as Punk flips and keeps the Anaconda Vise locked in! OLIVENCIA TAPS! OLIVENCIA TAPS!!!
The obvious question is who wins? Both wrestlers simultaneously had a submission applied on him. The referee waves it off for that reason, leaving both Punk and Switchblade upset as they argue which of their submissions got the tap out. Punk says he had his on longer, while Switchblade argues it was only when his was applied that there was the tap out. Burke comes from behind shoving Punk into Switchblade. He turns Punk and kicks him in the midsection, grabbing him by the back of the head and driving him into the mat with the Elijah Experience! The sitout facebuster connects as Burke covers for the win ...

Punk wins! That last spot was just too much as Punk has regained the title after an intense battle. The referee however calls it off as he notices Olivencia's foot on the bottom rope. Punk says no, he won. The referee however says differently. Punk tells him to call for the bell, raise his arm and give him the championship belt now! The referee says no again as Punk gets frustrated. He quickly steps into lift up Switchblade for the Go To Sleep, but he gets to the ropes and grabs them, instead using his legs to hook Punk's head and flip out to the floor. Switchblade gets back in and readies to pounce on a clearly defeated Olivencia. He has taken the most punishment arguably of any of them, and how much can 1 man take? Burke wins! The Pope wins! What a chaotic match as Burke manages to squeak through with a win here, but Switchblade is noticeably upset by this. Dean acknowledges that The Blacklist leader is the man that finished Olivencia off offensively, but adds you have to be aware of your other opponents in a 4 way match.
Heavyweight champion Elijah Burke defeats Jamin Olivencia, Rudy Switchblade, and CM Punk @ 28:46 via pinfall on Olivencia to retain the championship.
Burke gets handed the OVW Title belt and lifts it up into the air. Switchblade goes to the announce table and takes Gilbert's headset, saying into it that he was just screwed out of the title, he should be OVW champion right now! He throws it down as Dean tells him to tell somebody who gives a damn. He didn't win tonight, Burke did. Also defeated is Punk, clearly pissed off as he no doubt felt he had the match won when the referee initially called for the win, only to wave it off. In fact, BOTH Punk and Switchblade had an actual finish, but because both had a submission applied at the same time, it got waved off as well. Dean says that nobody is denying Burke is a lucky man tonight, but he did win in the end, which is what matters. And what about Olivencia? Gilbert says that he seemed to take the most punishment of all and he just looked like a different man than the challenger that walked into Rage In The Cage in October and ended the 9 month reign of Marcus Anthony. The same man that walked into the March Saturday Night Special and regained his championship from Switchblade.
Gilbert thanks fans for ordering the iPPV and reminds out of market viewers to check out the website for streaming TV, ordering DVDs, whatever it is they're after. As for Louisville fans, tune in Wednesday night or be in the Davis Arena live if you can for all the fallout, and come back in 5 weeks on June 6 for the next Saturday Night Special. That event will not be live on iPPV, the only way to experience it live is in person so get your tickets today. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey signing off until the next time.
