The commentators welcome viewers to the show. The Saturday Night Special is behind us, still OVW champion The Pope Elijah Burke. He is not here tonight, but a lot action that he will want to take note of. Signed for tonight, matches include ...
- The East vs The Blacklist in a 6 man elimination tag team match
- Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Taeler Hendrix to crown a new OVW Women's champion
- Mad Man Pondo vs Flash Flanagan
- 20 man over the top rope Battle Royal, final 2 to meet next week to determine who meets the OVW champion in 2 weeks time
Kicking things off though is very familiar music as the fans blow the roof off the Davis Arena for this appearance ...
Jamin Olivencia addresses the fans
This past Saturday, Jamin Olivencia was pinned in the fatal fourway for the OVW Heavyweight Title. This marks 2 matches in a row that Olivencia has been defeated in as rumors have been circulating since on just what is next for the former champion. The fans give him a good reaction as he is out, clearly not dressed for competition tonight.
Jamin Olivencia: Thank you. I'm not going to take up much time here. I just wanted to make sure that whatever you hear about me, it comes from my mouth. Not some second hand rumor, not some unreputable web site on the internet. 3 and a half weeks ago, I had a match wth CM Punk that had the future of this company riding on it. I had the weight of the world on my shoulders. It was win or lose, do or die, and what happened? CM Punk won. He didn't cheat, he didn't pull the tights, he didn't use a foreign object. He used the Go To Sleep, put my shoulders to the mat, and he won, 1, 2, 3. Forget Elijah Burke and what happened next, I let everybody down, and I let myself down. That was a match I had to win. But I didn't. Fast forward to this past Saturday, I get a second chance. A chance to right the wrong. A chance to avenge the defeat, get back my title, beat CM Punk, do it all. Again, I had to win, losing was simply not an option. But I did lose. I was pinned, and then ... and then it started. Jamin Olivencia can't get the job done anymore. Jamin Olivencia can't hack it when the pressure's on. You know, say what you will, but I'm willing to call a spade a spade and say it. Maybe ... maybe the people that say that ... are right. Forget the OVW Title, I win at Best In The World and I'm in the conversation for a shot at AJ Styles and the World Title. I was *THIS* close. But I blew it. And now what do I have to say? Forget the World Title, after Saturday, I can forget the OVW Title too. So the question becomes what is next for Jamin Olivencia? I-
Suddenly very familiar music off Olivencia, but not familiar to the Davis Arena. Instead it's the music of "My World" as from the back comes Jeff Jarrett?!? Nobody expected this as he is out in a business suit and steps into the ring. Clearly not here to wrestle, the man is here for another reason.
Jeff Jarrett: That's right, Jeff Jarrett is here in the Davis Arena! Call me good 'ol Double J, whatever you like, it's all the same. Jamin, I heard what you just had to say and I'm here to get into that head of yours. I'm here to make you an offer that you simply can't refuse. I mean you wanna talk about the rumors on the internet, the last year that's where I've lived. No matter what I did, the questions hounded me. The rumors followed me everywhere I went. But now, finally, Jeff Jarrett speaks and it involves you Jamin. It wasn't long ago that I announced my intention to begin a project called Global Force Wrestling. In that time, I've heard it all. The project's a failure, it won't get off the ground, there's no money backing it. Lies. Not only is Global Force Wrestling a go, but there's a whole lot of money backing it, haha, a whole boat load of money. And Jamin, I'm here to talk business. See we need star players. We need the best. And contrary to what you just said out here, I know and these fans know, you are among the very best. I don't wanna see Jamin Olivencia work his way back up to title contention, no. I wanna see Jamin Olivencia IN title contention, and I wanna see it today! These fans wanna see it too! So what I'm here to offer you is opportunity. You stay here, you're on a ghost train to nowhere. But if you join me, I can get you that World Title shot Jamin on our first card. I can get you everything you ever dreamed of. Your time in Louisville is finished. But your time in the world is just getting started.
Jamin Olivencia: Jeff, I appreciate the offer. I appreciate what you're saying, but-
Jeff Jarrett: Haha, let me cut you off right there. Let me make things real clear for you where you stand right now. At Best In The World, you win that match with CM Punk, you'd be at the top of the ladder here. AJ Styles, a close personal friend of mine might I add, he'd be here. I know it cause I've heard him talk about you behind closed doors. I've heard what he has to say! And you know what that is? Do all of you want to know what AJ Styles thinks of Jamin Olivencia?
The fans cheer as even Olivencia seems interested from the look on his face.
Jeff Jarrett: To steal a line from somebody, it doesn't matter what AJ Styles thinks of you. Not now, not anymore. It would have, but you lost. You not only lost at Best In The World Jamin, you lost this past Saturday. Now you've got 20 guys competing in a battle royal tonight for a title shot and you know what? Your name's not there. 20 names deep, nothing. There's no shot at AJ Styles down the pipe line, there's no shot at Elijah Burke down the pipe line. CM Punk, Rudy Switchblade, Rob Conway, Melvin Maximus, Marcus Anthony, Cliff Compton, Colt Cabana, Chris Silvio, Michael Hayes ... I could go on all day. You know what all those names have in common Jamin? None of them had their shoulders pinned in back to back matches, and all of them will get an opportunity here before you. That's why you need me, and you need Global Force Wrestling. You come with me, there's nobody ahead of you on that ladder. You're #1 with us and you will get a World Title shot, I guarantee it.
Jarrett pauses as Olivencia seems to be seriously considering the offer.
Jeff Jarrett: Alright, alright, you know what? I'm a fair man Jamin. I get it. I come out here, lay down some real talk, I don't expect an immediate answer just like that. A decision like this takes time. So I'm gonna give it to you. But time is not infinite and it's not a commodity that you have in abundance right now. So I'll give you 30 days Jamin. 30 days. June 6th. The next Saturday Night Special. I want an answer Jamin. You can do things the hard way, or you can do them the right way. The Jarrett way. The Global Force Wrestling way. 30 days.
And with that, Jarrett drops his mic and heads out of the ring leaving the building in shock. Jeff Jarrett's words seem to have given Jamin Olivencia something to think about, and maybe some realization of his status in OVW, whether true or false. Dean says he has known Jarrett a long time and he has just thrown down the gauntlet to shake OVW to its very foundation. 30 days until the next Saturday Night Special, will Jamin join Global Force Wrestling and take the fast road to a World Title shot?

The Body Guy promo video
Out of action since the March Saturday Night Special with an undisclosed injury, a rather generic hype video airs featuring The Body Guy's silhouette posing over a fluorescent background to his theme music. The brief promo is tagged with "... returning soon".
Final of the OVW Women's championship Tournament
Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Taeler Hendrix
The long journey finally comes to a conclusion tonight. Vacant since champion AJ Lee had the title vacated and then destroyed as part of CM Punk's crusade, the OVW Women's championship finds a new holder in this tournament final. Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeated CJ Lane in the first round and Seleziya Sparx in the semi final, while Taeler Hendrix defeated Josette Bynum in the first round and had a semi final bye. Out before the match is Danny Davis with a briefcase. The referee holds the case open as Davis pulls out a brand new OVW Women's championship belt to replace the destroyed one. That is what these 2 will fight for here tonight with Seleziya watching on from the outside as she is in the corner of fellow A List member Hendrix as usual.
The early going of the match sees Monroe in control and having the fans in her corner as Hendrix is unable to get any offense going. Upset, she heads out to the floor to complain. There is little Seleziya can do though. Hendrix goes back in and more of the same follows with Monroe eventually getting in a headscissors on the mat. Seleziya gets up on the apron, drawing the attention of the referee and Monroe as well as she breaks the hold. She goes over, making a big mistake as she turns her back to Hendrix. When she turns around, Hendrix rakes the eyes, unseen by the referee and goes to a side headlock as Seleziya gets down. Hendrix focuses mainly on wearing down Monroe, eventually seating her up onto the top turnbuckle. Hendrix runs in, flipping up into a hurricarana attempt with the middle rope, but Monroe blocks it by shoving her down. As Hendrix lands, Monroe comes off the middle rope with a big clothesline. She starts building momentum with Seleziya even trying to intervene by getting onto the apron, only to get knocked down. Monroe finally sets Hendrix up for a suplex and hits it, rolling through into the Rainbow Cross! Hendrix uses the momentum though and gets Monroe onto her back, grabbing a handful of tights in the process. The referee makes the count, hitting a 3.
Taeler Hendrix defeats Mary Elizabeth Monroe @ 6:24 via pinfall with a rollup and a handful of tights. Hendrix is the new Women's champion.
Hendrix wins the match and the title! Monroe can't believe it nor can most fans. She was robbed here tonight as Hendrix goes to the outside immediately, insisting the referee come out and raise her hand in victory. The ref gets the belt which Seleziya quickly snatches away and puts around the waist of the new champion. After a long quest, Taeler Hendrix has finally regained the title and with Seleziya in her corner and no regard for the rules, it may be some time before anybody takes it. Monroe tries explaining to the referee Hendrix had the tights, but he can only call what he sees.

Ringside interview w/ Christian Mascagni
Terry Boddie is at ringside to ask Christian Mascagni about the words from Rudy Switchblade last week. Mascagni says that all is well and despite duel interests in tonight's 6 man tag team match main event, he is sure that all will be worked out. Right now though he is here to bring out somebody else he represents, former referee Josh Ashcraft! Last seen in March, Ashcraft was fired as a referee for merely doing his job but that firing was unwarranted and it is why he is back. But he is not here as a referee, but a manager. Ashcraft thanks Mascagni for his efforts and says that he makes the perfect manager because he knows the rules inside and out. In fact, he already has his first clients. With that, out comes noted tag team Country Jacked, Adam Page & Corey Hollis. Ashcraft says these 2 were once the talk of the NWA and now he has brought them to OVW. The 2 of them will be Tag Team champions, mark his words. Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana have been put on warning.
Mad Man Pondo vs Flash Flanagan
A battle of the hardcore here, even if not officially a hardcore match. Flash Flanagan has had a mean streak of late, first attacking and turning on former tag team partner and friend Trailer Park Trash at Best In The World for losing to Dylan Bostic, and then last Saturday attacking Bostic with a kendo stick for his part. No sign of Bostic tonight from that attack, costing him a chance in the battle royal to earn a future shot at the OVW Title. Pondo is not about to roll over and play dead here as him and Flash start a brawl that ends up going to the floor. Pondo sets up a table outside and lays Flash down on it, but the referee steps in when Pondo is about to jump off the apron through it. Flash gets up and uses the distraction, tripping Pondo and knocking the back of his head against the mat. Taking it back inside, Flash works him over before eventually delivering the somersault senton over the top rope and putting him away for the 3 count. A big win for Flash, but he's not done here. He takes the kendo stick and waits for Pondo to get up and then blasts him with it. Flash then lifts up Pondo and lifts him over the shoulder into a crucifix, launching him over the top rope and through the table. Pondo may be finished here as OVW medical staff comes out to look him over. Dr. Asa Andrew gives the sign for a stretcher as Flash just looks on, caring less. The recent change in attitude could spell trouble for the rest of OVW, as it already has for all that have come into his path so far.
Flash Flanagan defeats Mad Man Pondo @ 5:18 via pinfall after a somersault senton over the top rope.

20 man over the top rope Battle Royal
As part of May sweeps, OVW is holding what is being called the gold rush tournament. Tonight a 20 man battle royal with the qualification to enter that you can never have held the OVW Heavyweight Title before. Once down to 2 men, the match ends and they will go 1 on 1 next week. The following week, the winner of that match will go on to challenge The Pope Elijah Burke for the OVW Title. The list of names reads as follows: Colt Cabana, Dapper Dan, Deonta Davis, Jade Dawson, Eddie Diamond, Bud Dwight, Michael Hayes, Ryan Howe, Raul Lamotta, Jason Lee, Melvin Maximus, The Mexicutioner, Stuart Miles, Paredyse, Rump Thump, Leon Shelly, Chris Silvio, Aaron Sky, Randy Terrez, and Robbie Walker.
The early story is Walker going after Sky. At the Saturday Night Special, Sky left his team high & dry by no showing the 10 man tag team match after convincing them all to help him in the first place. Tonight he would find no help on the run, ending up getting eliminated first by Paredyse in an attempt to escape Walker. The former tag team partner was not about to let him go that easy as Sky taunted him. Walker then slingshotted himself over the top rope onto Sky and started hammering on him, eliminating himself in the process. Sky got away as Walker chased him back to the locker room. The next elimination sees the biggest man in the match in Maximus dump out Leon Shelly with ease, the commentators feeling the wrestlers are making a mistake not working together early to eliminate him. Fourth out is Altar Boy Jade Dawson when Rump Thump hits the Rumper Stumper to daze him and then tosses him out. The Pastor of Disaster was there to capitalize though and threw Rump out from behind, continuing that feud. Rockstar Ryan Howe would eliminate Deonta Davis for the 6th elimination.
Maximus continued from there, tossing out The Party Starter Bud Dwight with ease for a second elimination. Terrez made his mark next, eliminating Lamotta with a hurricanrana. Miles met his match next as Colt Cabana made his presence known with a first elimination today, looking to add to his collection of gold. The commentators wonder on Cliff Compton's thoughts, being excluded here as a former OVW champion, also having lost to Cabana at the SNS. The TV champion Michael Hayes shows some grit as he next eliminates The Man Jason Lee. EFD Eddie Diamond is next to hit the floor, courtesy of the Psychodelic Superpunch from Chris Silvio. All good things come to an end as Terrez goes out next with The Mexicutioner getting some revenge for his partner's elimination earlier.
Big Dapper Dan is next to go out as Cabana gets a second elimination in the match. The Mexicutioner almost eliminates Hayes next, but as he's going over, he holds on and then is able to pull Mexicutioner to the floor. And then the Melvin Maximus show kicks into next gear. Howe would be next to go as he jumps into the waiting arms and gets dumped out. Cabana tests out the big man, but meets the same fate as he gets thrown to the outside for a 4th elimination. With the match down to 4 - Maximus, Hayes, Paredyse, and Silvio - Marcus Anthony emerges! The fans cheer as he has taped ribs from the SNS. Maximus just laughs as Anthony is fired up on the outside. He just hits a double bicep for initimidation, but gets hit by a dropkick from Paredyse from behind. Against the ropes, Anthony gets on the apron and grabs Maximus, pulling him out to the floor with a last second assist from Paredyse. Maximus is out! As that goes on, Hayes charges at Silvio, who ducks and pulls down the top rope to send him out. The bell rings.
Paredyse and Chris Silvio are the final 2 survivors @ 8:31.
Silvio gets up and turns, unaware of the other survivor. He turns to see Paredyse and it looks like we will get the match 1 more time next week and the stakes couldn't be higher. 1 of these men will challenge for the OVW Title in 2 weeks time on TV. Maximus meanwhile needs to be held back from Anthony as not only referees, but several of the school trainees need to keep them separated from each other. Maximus may have won at the SNS when Anthony couldn't continue, but that clearly means nothing for the end of this rivalry as Anthony wants another go.

Ringside interview w/ Heidi Lovelace
Terry Boddie is at ringside with NWA World Women's champion Heidi Lovelace. First off, her thoughts on Taeler Hendrix earlier winning the OVW Women's championship. Lovelace says that it's too bad how things played out, but she knows that Mary Elizabeth Monroe will come back and she has no doubt that Hendrix's reign as champion will be a short one. Talk then turns to Crazy Mary Dobson. 3 weeks ago she confronted Lovelace looking for a title shot, and then last week, sent a more physical message with her vicious attack on Rebel and Jessie Belle in their semi final match. Lovelace says that she saw what Dobson did and she has her attention now. Attacking people from behind though and beating them 1 on 1 in the ring where it matters are 2 different things. If Dobson wants a shot, she'll have to win some matches first.
3 on 3 Elimination match
The East vs The Blacklist
Big main event as several weeks culminate with a big 3 on 3 elimination match with The East vs The Blacklist, stable vs stable. Both leaders, Jeremiah Plunkett and Rudy Switchblade, had shots at The Pope Elijah Burke in recent weeks and were unsuccessful, so it would seem to reason that a win here would be necessary to stay in the hunt. On the underside is where a lot of the tension comes from with Shiloh Jonze blaming Chase Owens for a loss Owens & Eric Locker suffered 2 weeks ago. A 1 on 1 followed last week with Owens winning, but Jonze & Locker would attack Owens at the Saturday Night Special. Jax Dane is the largest wrestler here and certainly a wildcard as he could prove to be the deciding factor with no emotional attachment on his mind, only winning.
The match starts with Plunkett informing Dane & Owens that he would start. Not getting the desired results against The Blacklist, Plunkett tells Owens to try and do any better. Owens takes Jonze and continues where they left off last week, but Locker would come in and get the better of Owens for a brief time. Dane comes in from there and the showdown is on with him vs Locker. The 2 biggest slug it out with Locker eventually getting the better and tagging in Switchblade for the first time in the match. Switchblade works over Dane, but the big man turns the momentum when he catches Switchblade coming off the ropes into a spinebuster. The fans start cheering at this point as from the back comes The Ironman Rob Conway! Clearly not content with the SNS, he wants to continue as he points to Plunkett. Dane gets up and wants Conway sent to the back. He then turns into a leaping Switchblade, catching him with the RudyKO. Switchblade covers and we have our first elimination of the match.
Rudy Switchblade eliminates Jax Dane @ 5:27 via pinfall after The RudyKO.
Conway is not leaving though as he wants Plunkett now. The coward that he is, he gets onto the floor. Dane rolls out after taking the RudyKO and is joined by Owens. Plunkett laughs behind them as Conway can't get to him. Dane goes to throw a punch that Conway blocks with ease and fires back a right. He then Irish whips him into the barricade. Plunkett can't believe it, telling Owens to do something! Owens however steps out of the way to the cheers of the fans, leaving Plunkett to fight his own battles. Conway gives chase to Plunkett, who has no problem hightailing it to the back and getting counted out in the process.
Jeremiah Plunkett is eliminated @ 6:10 via countout.
Conway heads back to the locker room as well in search of Plunkett, but the real story may be unfolding here. Owens is left in a 3 on 1 as The Blacklist remains intact. The match continues after a final break.
-- commercial break --
Back from break and The Blacklist are formly in control of Owens. It seems like not a matter of if, but instead when as they use quick tags to keep a fresh man on him. Owens to his credit continues kicking out and putting up a fight, not wanting to quit on this match. Gilbert wonders what the incentive is for Owens when the rest of The East treat him like a second class citizen or something. Dean says it's about more than them, it's about making a name for yourself. Jonze is in and looking for his Mandible Claw, but Owens avoids it as he holds back the arm and then twists it. The 2 have an exchange with Jonze going into the ropes. Owens leapfrogs over as Jonze goes underneath him. Owens then drops to the mat at Jonze runs over. When he hits the ropes and bounces back, Owens spins and catches him out of nowhere with the Roaring Elbow. He covers, scoring the 3 and getting an elimination.
Chase Owens eliminates Shiloh Jonze @ 11:31 via pinfall after The Roaring Elbow.
Locker is in immediately to continue where Jonze left off. Owens continues getting a beating as Switchblade makes quick tags and instructs Locker on just what to do here. Locker sets Owens up into the Electric Chair as he looks for the Hurt Locker, but Owens manages to turn it into a victory roll, scoring a 2 count. Locker pops up and kicks Owens in the head. Switchblade is in and works over Owens, eventually setting up for the Boston Crab. Owens fights and fights, managing to counter it when he rolls through to send Switchblade down. Locker tags in and Owens starts a comeback. Despite the size advantage, Owens has more heart than Locker and the support of the Davis Arena here tonight. Owens is at the ropes readying for the Roaring Elbow when Switchblade grabs him from behind. Locker charges, but Owens moves. They avoid contact, but Locker turns into the Roaring Elbow and goes down as Owens covers and gets another elimination, evening the match up at 1 on 1.
Chase Owens eliminates Eric Locker @ 15:09 via pinfall after The Roaring Elbow.
Switchblade is quickly in. Owens gets up off the elimination, unaware of this. He turns as Switchblade immediately goes for the RudyKO! Owens manages to block it and instead shoves Switchblade off into the ropes. Owens goes for the Roaring Elbow, but Switchblade holds onto the ropes. Owens catches air with his finisher as Switchblade steps in and jumps up, successfully hitting the RudyKO this time. He covers and that exchange was short, but sweet as The Blacklist leader has the last laugh tonight.
Rudy Switchblade eliminates Chase Owens @ 15:43 via pinfall after The RudyKO.
The Blacklist win the match with Switchblade the sole survivor left standing here tonight. Coming off the last few weeks with his boasting of a forfeit victory over NWA North American champion John Cena and nearly winning back the Heavyweight Title at the Saturday Night Special, he has to be at the top of the list for a chance at Elijah Burke and the Heavyweight Title says Dean. Gilbert says he is certainly near the top, but after earlier, we know that at the top right now sits Paredyse and Chris Silvio, the 2 to go 1 on 1 next week here on TV, winner gets a shot at Burke and the OVW Title. What will Burke have to say about all this next week when he returns? What about Switchblade for that matter? For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1:
Solo Darling defeats Mandy Leon @ 5:37 via pinfall with a sunset flip. Darling was making a return here this week while Leon was making her in ring debut after a couple months of a backstage gossip segment. Leon had control of the match but a double clothesline spot left both down. Darling crawled to the corner where she took some candy out of the bag she brought to the ring and it seems to do the trick as she ate a piece and sugar'd up and made the comeback, spoiling the debut of Leon. Terry Boddie is joined by new permanent commentator on the websclusive Nick Dinsmore and both feel Darling's enthusiasm could be a threat to the rest of the women here, while also being impressed with early glimpses of Leon here.
Websclusive match #2
Cliff Compton defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 5:04 via pinfall after The Cliffhanger, a springboard Tornado DDT. Before the match, Compton cut some mic work as he came out with both OVW Tag Team belts. He said it was ridiculous that he is being punished for being better than 20 other wrestlers and was kept out of the battle royal for achieving something they never have, being OVW champion. Elvis took the mic and cut a rap on Compton, pointing out he's been OVW champion too as 1 of the odder footnotes in OVW's history, and that "Cabana needs to start ditching, cause Compton won't stop his bitching!" Pridemoore got in some offense but Compton is just too good, finishing him off in the end.
