Tag Team champions: Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana
TV champion: Michael Hayes
Women's champion: Taeler Hendrix
Commentators: Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey
Ring Announcer: Scarlett Bordeaux
Interviewer: Terry Boddie
The commentators welcome viewers to the show. This is it. A big night as the last 2 weeks come to fruition tonight. A title match right here tonight on TV. With the next Saturday Night Special only 2.5 weeks away, tonight could shape what's to come. In action ...
- Paredyse vs Ryan Howe
- Country Jacked make their in ring debut
- Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Jessie Belle
- Heavyweight champion Elijah Burke defends against Chris Silvio
And with that title match, Rudy Switchblade has vowed to make sure it doesn't happen so we know he has to be here as well. What are his plans? Also tonight, Marcus Anthony answers the request of Timmy Danger & Melvin Maximus for a rematch, Colt Cabana has asked for time to address the Tag Team Title match last week, and the first name revealed for the big joint show with Global Force Wrestling down in Bowling Green on June 21 and spoiler alert, it doesn't get much bigger. Kicking things off though is the always unwelcomed presence ...
The East address the changes
Jeremiah Plunkett leads the way, followed closely by the new recruits The Sons of Chaos. We saw them debut last week with the elimination of Jax Dane from the ranks. This change gives strength in numbers and Dean speculates these 2 are probably here simply to do the bidding of Plunkett where as Dane seemed to want more. No sign of the invisible man like, wheelchair bound "East Man" and his face wrapped in bandages, but also no sign of Chase Owens. Plunkett has the mic as the fans boo.
Jeremiah Plunkett: I'm happy to see all of you too. In case you missed last week or have been living under a rock, allow me to introduce you to 2 men that are going to go down in history. 2 men that together will take out and put and end to Rob Conway, just like Nick Dinsmore and his fragile knee. Damien Wayne, Phil Monahan, The Sons ... of ... CHAOS!!!!! Hahaha. I dare anybody back there to try and stop us now. Jax Dane, yeah, he was big. He was bad. But he's not them. If these 2 want, they take the Tag Team Title tonight, that's how good they are. But that's not why they're here. They're not here to wrestle, they're here to watch my back. Something Jax Dane couldn't do, and you know what? Chase Owens. I know you're back there. This is The East, last I checked you're a part of it. Get out here man! Come on!
From the back comes Chase Owens, a little reluctant, but Plunkett assures him everything's fine. Owens gets in as The Sons of Chaos stand down. Plunkett offers a handshake, maybe even going overboard as he drops to his knees and starts bowing to Owens as though he's not worthy.
Jeremiah Plunkett: You people know who this?! This is Chase Owens! Pro wrestling superstar. Man, where were you at last week? You should've been there man. We took out Dane and the only thing better would have been that Roaring Elbow knocking him down. Where were you?
Owens goes over to request a second mic.
Chase Owens: I was-
Jeremiah Plunkett: Now hold on. I must have forgot. See, I know where you were. You weren't out here with us, so that must mean you were in the back sitting on your ass, while we do everything, as usual! You think we're stupid or something? You come out here last week and come to the aid of Michael Hayes?! You kidding me?! So he's more important than us? Really?! No, no, no, that ain't right. What do you have to say for yourself?
Chase Owens: Look, I'm not-
Jeremiah Plunkett: No, hold on again here. What I wanna know is what was going on the week before that. The East against The Blacklist. Dane, I'm not gonna make excuses, he dropped the ball. That's why he's gone. But you Chase, you done messed up and messed up good. I would have won the match, obviously, but Conway comes out and pulls that crap chasing me to the back. You're down 3 on 1 against The Blacklist, and what happens? You eliminate Shiloh Jonze, you eliminate Eric Locker, but what? Rudy Switchblade? He pins you to win the damn match! That's not acceptable Chase. Unacceptable. I just wanna hear it from you man. Do you really think that was enough?
Chase Owens: I-
Jeremiah Plunkett: AND THEN! You go back even further. Saturday Night Special, Conway & Samoa Joe, you're busy though chasing individual glory and the TV Title. And you didn't even win!
Chase Owens: Because The Blacklist came out and interfered-
Jeremiah Plunkett: But you didn't win!
Chase Owens: I didn't lose.
Jeremiah Plunkett: Now come on man! Come on! You know that this is The East. There's high standards here. You wanna know what hurt the most though? What felt like a knife in my back? My East championship, hung above a ladder. We had the chance to take the OVW Title, take control. Make the boss proud. Where were you then? It seems like Chase, this is all about you and not about The East.
Chase Owens: Well it seems to me The East is all about you Jeremiah Plunkett! It seems to me that The East is just a bunch of guys doing your dirty work, and I'm sick and tired of it! I'm the best junior heavyweight wrestler in the world today and instead of going after-
Plunkett grabs the mic away. He tells Owens to look at him. Owens looks to the fans who are chanting "Chase, Chase, Chase". He looks back and Plunkett slaps him! Owens looks down. Plunkett tells him to know his place, putting a finger in his chest. Finally Owens can take no more ... OWENS PUNCHES PLUNKETT! Owens fires another, but before anything can happen, The Sons of Chaos are in. After some cheap shots, Wayne picks up Owens and military presses him into a powerslam, the Black Diamond! Plunkett is pissed, telling Owens off as he gives Monahan the order. He lifts Owens up and grabs him by the throat. He then lifts him into the air, chokeslamming him down with authority! Plunkett drops to the mat, almost foaming at the mouth.
Jeremiah Plunkett: Chase Owens, you ungrateful S.O.B! I was like a father to you! I was like a father and this is how you repay me?! Damn you! Damn ... you! You can consider this your official release. And it doesn't come from me, it comes from The East Man himself. You're fired! Get him up dammit! I'm not finished.
The Sons of Chaos hold Owens as Plunkett slaps him again and tells him what's what. He then grabs Owens and hooks him, lifting him up and then driving him into the mat with the Gourdbuster. Owens needs help out here. From the back comes TV champion Michael Hayes returning the favor from last week, joined by Rob Conway and the Louisville Slugger. Plunkett and The Sons exit the ring, leaving Owens in a heap. The Director of Authority Jim Cornette is out and telling Plunkett, Wayne, and Monahan to get the hell out of here. Plunkett just laughs, clearly pleased enough with this turn of events. Last week they took out Jax Dane, and it looks like this week might be the end of Chase Owens as well. Plunkett gives a last word off mic telling Conway that he's next.

Update on Chase Owens / Ringside interview w/ Crazy Mary Dobson
Terry Boddie is at ringside saying that the initial report on Chase Owens from OVW physician Dr. Asa Andrew doesn't look good and Jeremiah Plunkett and The Sons of Chaos may have succeeded in their attack as that might be the last we see of him in OVW. Director of Authority Jim Cornette though, not standing down. He has made the match for the Saturday Night Special on June 6, 1 more time, Ironman Rob Conway vs Jeremiah Plunkett, but to keep The Sons of Chaos out of it, it will be inside of a Steel Cage! At this point, Crazy Mary Dobson interrupts, wondering where her match is with Heidi Lovelace? Last week she destroyed Ray Lynn and she will go through every last woman on the roster if that's what it takes. Boddie says it was impressive but this is the World champion they're talking. Dobson cryptically says that in that case, she might just have to make it personal.
Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Jessie Belle
2 weeks ago on TV, Mary Elizabeth Monroe came up short against Taeler Hendrix in the finals of the OVW Women's Title Tournament. While Hendrix boasted last week of her tainted win, Monroe will get a rematch on June 6 at the Saturday Night Special. Her opponent tonight is in a must win situation. A loss to Rebel on the websclusive and Jessie Belle finds herself towards the bottom of the rankings where she was once Women's champion just a few months ago. Belle puts up a good fight early, but Monroe is able to get the advantage, frustrating Belle. This seems to throw her off her game as the commentators speculate that her head just isn't in this. Belle manages to briefly get the control back, but makes a critical mistake when she drops her head too soon and Monroe telegraphs it. She locks the head and brings a knee down, putting Belle into the Rainbow Cross submission. Within seconds Belle taps. Will Taeler Hendrix meet the same fate on June 6 at the Saturday Night Special?
Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Jessie Belle @ 5:28 via tap to the Rainbow Cross.

Ringside interview w/ Colt Cabana
Terry Boddie is out next with co-holder of the Tag Team championship Colt Cabana. Title defense against The Wild Boyz last week, ruined when Josh Ashcraft's new recruits Country Jacked interfered. They want those belts. Cabana says that a lot of people want them, but Country Jacked will just have to get in line. He wants The Wild Boyz out here right now though. From the back, EFD Eddie Diamond & The Party Starter Bud Dwight emerge. Cabana says he first wants to apologize because they deserve a fair shot at the belts. They won a non title match, they earned it. So he is offering them a rematch on June 6 at the Saturday Night Special, The Wild Boyz getting their fair shot. They agree as Boddie asks if Cliff Compton is in agreement on this? Cabana says Compton will be cool with it. He knows that The Wild Boyz are the real deal, and at the SNS, the 4 of them will tear the house down!
The No Class Connection vs Country Jacked
Speaking of the Tag Team Title, Josh Ashcraft leads out the men in question. Adam Page, Corey Hollis, Country Jacked. They arrived in OVW with a lot of hype and now is their chance to show they deserve it. Cabana & The Wild Boyz are brushed off as they head to the ring for their match. Their opponents are The No Class Connection of Deonta Davis & Leon Shelly. Country Jacked make it look easy in this, a glorified showcase for their debut. After working them over, the finish comes with Page isolating Shelly. He sets him up and hits an arm trap reverse STO. Gilbert says he's been told that move is called Turn The Page, and they cover as Hollis cuts off Davis from breaking up the count. Country Jacked impresses week 1 here tonight, and you can bet they'll be watching come June 6 at the Saturday Night Special. Ashcraft may not have only found a way back into OVW, but a way to the top.
Country Jacked defeat The No Class Connection @ 4:57 when Adam Page pinned Leon Shelly after Turn The Page.

Backstage segment w/ The Congregation
The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles & Altar Boy Jade Dawson stand in a darkened room, their faces lit up. Miles says that what happened last week was an act of the devil and it just shows that Rump Thump is guilty of sin, and doing his work. He wants a rematch with Ram Jam Jon Ramser to show all the sinners the righteous way, the heavenly way. Hallelujah!
Paredyse vs Ryan Howe
Coming off of last week's solid performance against Chris Silvio, Paredyse is looking to bounce back against somebody else looking to make an impression tonight. Rockstar Ryan Howe has been sidetracked the last couple of months as he dealt with the Shelly Martinez led group of Aaron Sky, Raul Lamotta, and The Mexicutioner. Martinez is long gone and they have their own issues now, leaving Howe to once again look towards championship gold after coming close to the TV Title a couple of times last summer. After playing his guitar out to the ring, Paredyse and Howe shake hands in this fan favorite vs fan favorite match to kick things off.
The match begins with a lockup. Howe gets into a waist lock that Paredyse quickly reverses. Howe looks to break the arms, instead reversing behind Paredyse as he gets into the ropes for a break. The 2 circle and lock up again, this time Howe backing Paredyse to the corner. They break and Howe goes for a chop, but Paredyse moves and turns Howe into the corner. Paredyse gets in a chop and then Irish whips him into the opposite turnbuckle. Paredyse charges in as Howe back body drops him over the top rope, but he lands on the apron. Howe turns into Paredyse kicking him and going to the top rope. Paredyse waits for Howe to turn and then comes off with a missile dropkick. A cover follows, but only a 2 count. Keeping up the momentum, Paredyse brings Howe up into a side headlock, but he backs him into the ropes and sends him across. Howe drops his head as Paredyse leapfrogs over, going for a hip toss. Paredyse blocks it, but Howe counters with a clothesline to turn the tide.
Howe lifts Paredyse up and suplexes him down as the commentators make mention of June 21 in Bowling Green and the big joint Global Force Wrestling - Ohio Valley Wrestling show. The big announcment - NWA World champion AJ Styles will be there, in action. Get your tickets today because they won't last long with names like that. Not only that, but there will be a special VIP autograph signing with Styles, as well as Jeff Jarrett. More names to be announced in the weeks to come. Back to the call with Howe still in control. He is working over the arm, no doubt prepping for the Whammy Bar, a Fujiwara armbar submission. From a wristlock, Paredyse gets up and reverses it, going behind Howe's back into a hammerlock. Howe looks at options, eventually grabbing the leg out to send Paredyse on his back. Paredyse pushes Howe off with his other foot to the corner. Howe charges at Paredyse, who side steps him to the corner. Paredyse charges but Howe moves. Paredyse grabs the top rope and leap frogs up as Howe runs in. Headscissors, and it's that time ...
Keister to the Kisser! Paredyse uses the headscissors to ram Howe's head into his rear several times. As he releases, Howe drops down into the corner. He gets up for Paredyse charging in with a monkey flip, but Howe blocks by holding onto the top rope. As Paredyse crashes back, Howe steps out and grabs the arm. Whammy Bar! Whammy Bar! Paredyse gets to the ropes quickly though for a break. Howe shoots Paredyse across and catches him with a big spear! Howe gives a jumping fist drop and then heads to the second rope. A groggy Paredyse stands as it would seem Howe has this is in the bag with the Chart Topper coming. Paredyse turns as Howe goes for the Blockbuster DDT, but Paredyse moves to send Howe flipping onto his back. Howe stands as Paredyse locks him into position and drives him to the mat with The Long Kiss Goodnight. The Forward STO delivers as Paredyse covers and the referee counts 3.
Paredyse defeats Ryan Howe @ 9:32 via pinfall after The Long Kiss Goodnight.
Paredyse rebounds with a big win in a good performance here tonight. After the match, Paredyse helps Howe up. The Rockstar is at the ropes as Paredyse extends a hand. Howe seems to consider it, looking to the fans for advice. They seem to behind the idea as they cheer. Howe says why not and the handshake goes down. The commentators wonder if this could be the start of something as Gilbert can only imagine what these 2 as a tag team could do here in OVW. Dean answers that they would probably top the charts to steal some music lingo given Howe's gimmick. Up next, Elijah Burke. Chris Silvio. The OVW Title!

Ringside interview w/ Marcus Anthony
Terry Boddie is at ringside with Black Zeus Marcus Anthony. Last week Timmy Danger demanded a rematch between him and his man Melvin Maximus to finish what they started at the Saturday Night Special. First off, what is the stats of his ribs after the bear hug from Maximus? No response. Ok, what about 2 weeks ago when Anthony interfered in the battle royal, maybe costing Maximus the chance to fight tonight for the title? No response. Last but not least, what about a rematch? Marcus Anthony vs Melvin Maximus II. Anthony is breathing heavy and says he will fight Maximus again, but he wants Danger! Boddie asks for clarification, he wants the manager in a match? Anthony just repeats that he wants Danger! Looks like Anthony has more than just a rematch with Maximus on his mind.
Heavyweight Title match
Elijah Burke (c) vs Chris Silvio
They have set aside the rest of the broadcast for this. Chris Silvio earned the opportunity when he co-won the battle royal 2 weeks ago and then defeated arch rival Paredyse last week in a 1 on 1. Now tonight, The Pope Elijah Burke defends his OVW Title in a match that could go either way based upon the runs that both wrestlers have been on. Silvio is out first with Mary Jane with his elaborate lights out entrance to "Paint It Black". The commentators agree that Silvio looks focused tonight and what would it mean to see a change of the guard? Silvio has never been OVW Heavyweight champion, but certainly possesses the tools required. With Silvio in the ring, out comes The Pope Elijah Burke! The black face mask is in place and the title around his waist. He pauses to raise his arms after stepping through the curtain, lifting the title belt above his head ...
RUDY SWITCHBLADE! The leader of The Blacklist jumps Burke from behind. Burke drops the title belt as Switchblade grabs him by the head and hooks it up, hitting the RudyKO directly onto the championship belt! Switchblade stands and looks down at Burke as fans give a mixed reaction with him having a cult like following with some fans here, cheering what he has done. The Director of Authority Jim Cornette is out, along with physician Dr. Asa Andrew. He checks on Burke as several other wrestlers are now out. The TV champion Michael Hayes is back out, The Wild Boyz are out, Randy Terrez is out, Rump Thump is out. Switchblade backs off, but his eyes remain focused on the downed Burke. Dr. Andrew seems to X this one. Cornette asks if he's sure and Andrew confirms it, Burke is not competing here tonight.
Jim Cornette: I hope you're happy! This is what you wanted, huh? Well I got news for you pal. You want Elijah Burke so badly, consider it done. You might have taken him out right now, but I have no doubts he'll be ready to go come June 6. So the Saturday Night Special, it's Elijah Burke and Rudy Switchblade for the title! Now get out of here!
Cornette is pissed as Switchblade remains focused on his prey. Perhaps even more pissed is Silvio in the ring. He grabs the mic from ring announcer Scarlett Bordeaux.
Chris Silvio: What is this crap?! What is this?! This was supposed to be my night Cornette. My night! If he can't go, I want the win by forfeit right now and the title. I earned a championship match last week. Give it to me!
Jim Cornette: You know Chris, unlike some champions that just refuse to show up, Burke was ready to go and compete. I am not going to sign off on this being a title change and you winning the title like that. No way. You won a shot at Burke and you'll get it, just not tonight.
Chris Silvio: No, no, no, no, no. I won last week, I'm ready, I want the shot now! I don't care if you have to drag his lifeless body into the ring for me to pin him, but I came here for gold and I'm not leaving without it!
Jim Cornette: Look, I'm not going to turn OVW into the #1 customer of Louisville General Hospital tonight. We already had 1 guy go down to start the show and we'll probably never see him again, I'm not having a second. You will not get a shot at Elijah Burke tonight, end of story!
Chris Silvio: Fine then. If not Burke, what about him?
Michael Hayes is caught off guard by this. He asks if Silvio's addressing him.
Chris Silvio: Yeah I'm talking about you Peg Leg Pete. If I can't fight Elijah Burke, I want to fight you! Be a man Hayes, give me a shot at your TV Title!
Hayes is pretty upset by the comment, rightfully so, as Cornette tells him he doesn't have to do this. The match Silvio won was for a shot at the Heavyweight Title, not the TV Title. Rump Thump is holding Hayes back when he takes the mic.
Michael Hayes: You want a match with me? You got it!
The fans cheer as Hayes steps through and up to the apron and enters the ring. Silvio immediately backs off and exits the ring.
Chris Silvio: No, I don't want a match with you, I want a match with you for the TV Title. Put the belt on the line!
Hayes holds up the title before laying it down on the mat like a line drawn in the sand. It looks like we've got a new main event here. Chris Silvio will get his title shot, but now against TV champion Michael Hayes? A final commercial break while this gets sorted out.

The Body Guy promo video
Out of action since the March Saturday Night Special with an undisclosed injury, a rather generic hype video airs featuring The Body Guy's silhouette posing over a fluorescent background to his theme music. The brief promo is tagged with "... returning soon".
TV Title match
Michael Hayes (c) vs Chris Silvio
Unexpected turn of events here. Rudy Switchblade lives up to his promise and makes sure the Heavyweight Title match does not happen tonight, while Chris Silvio will now get a championship match with TV champion Michael Hayes instead. Dean asks if Silvio will still get a Heavyweight Title match? Gilbert says he has no idea and only knows as much with this situation as anybody watching at home. That said, the action has started. Ringside has been cleared except Mary Jane, Silvio's valet. Hayes is in control coming off the break as he rams Silvio's head to the corner and turns him into a shoulder to the gut. Another follows as Hayes then grabs Silvio to bring him out to the middle of the ring and hit a right hand. A European uppercut follows as Silvio falls back to the corner. Hayes mounts to the middle rope and starts landing punches. The crowd chants along until 10, at which point Silvio grabs the legs and walks out to drop Hayes face first against the top turnbuckle.
Silvio is up first, worn out a bit. He kicks Hayes and then chokes him against the middle rope. The referee warns and cautions him, at which point Mary Jane chokes Hayes behind the ref's back. Silvio comes back over and picks Hayes up, giving a right hand. Another right follows as he backs up and charges, but Hayes ducks and sends Silvio over the top with a back body drop. Silvio lands on the apron though and when Hayes turns, he grabs him by the back of the neck and drops down, hanging Hayes on the top rope. Silvio slides back in and covers, only getting a 2. Silvio grabs Hayes and goes to a headlock. Hayes gets up to his feet and lifts Silvio up for a belly to back suplex. Both wrestlers are down as Hayes gets up at the ropes. Silvio however is up first and kicks at the back of Hayes' knee to down him. Hayes rolls to the apron and gets up as Silvio suplexes him back in over the top rope. Another 2 count follows. This could be Silvio's night as the chance of Hayes retaining seems to dim by the moment here.
Silvio brings Hayes back up and sets up for a DDT, but Hayes counters by lifting Silvio up and driving him into the knee with a reverse atomic drop. Silvio sells it and turns back to take a clothesline from Hayes. Silvio gets back up and another clothesline. This time as Silvio gets up, Hayes steps in and connects with the jumping knee breaker to the face. Hayes covers, but only manages a 2 count. Hayes gets back up with a groggy Silvio standing and throwing a worthless punch that Hayes easily ducks and turns into a sleeper. Hayes turns to the cobra clutch and slams Silvio with it, moving into the Liberty Lock, his Anaconda Vise style submission. Silvio is ready to tap when Mary Jane gets on the apron. The ref is distracted as Silvio starts tapping. Hayes releases thinking he's won, only to see what's went on. He goes over to her but she drops down. He goes back to Silvio, who trips out the leg as he gets up. The ultimate act of desperation as Silvio then removes the prosthetic! Silvio drops back from his own momentum as the referee grabs the other end. A mini tug of war ensues ...
But it just serves as distraction as Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker are out! Hayes' biggest problem in recent weeks, they pull him outside the ring where he's on the 1 leg. They drive Hayes into the ringpost to knock him out and roll him back in. Silvio gives up the prosthetic as the ref turns back to see Hayes out. Silvio is getting up as Hayes starts moving. The ref gives him the prosthetic so he can reattach it. He gets up with the ropes but is still groggy and turns ... Psychodelic Superpunch! Silvio connects with his finisher and Hayes is out. Silvio covers as the referee gets down into position. He counts, making the 3. Chris Silvio wins. New TV champion.
Chris Silvio defeats TV champion Michael Hayes to capture the title @ 8:40 via pinfall after the Psychodelic Superpunch.
Mary Jane is in the ring as Silvio gets to his knees. He has regained the TV Title that he lost last July and the referee hands him his belt. Dean feels this is a cheap win thanks to the interference of The Blacklist, really the group ruining this night with Rudy Switchblade first taking out Elijah Burke. Maybe this was their plan all along and Silvio's in cahoots with them? Gilbert makes a point about Chase Owens being taken out earlier, the man that helped Hayes last week against the 2, and really you just have the perfect storm for this. Dean has no doubts Hayes will get a rematch and things will be different the next time around. Still though, doesn't change tonight as Chris Silvio is the new TV champion. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1
Elvis Pridemoore defeats Flash Flanagan via DQ @ 4:17 when Flash used the kendo stick. Flash continues his ruthless character, showing little regard for the rules or Elvis in general here. Just because he could, Flash opted to use the weapon to draw the DQ. The commentators mention that it seems Flash just flat out does not care. He is here with a personal agenda and it involves pain more so than climbing the ranks of OVW. Dylan Bostic returns at the next TV though after the attack at the SNS back on May 2, and you can bet he will have a word or 2 for Flash to take in.
Websclusive match #2
Robbie Walker & Randy Terrez defeat Aaron Sky & The Mexicutioner @ 6:25 when Terrez pinned Sky after the corkscrew moonsault. Rematch of sorts from last week websclusive where Sky cost Mexicutioner the match with Raul Lamotta. This week Sky took Lamotta's place to show Mex how it's done, but when the going got tough, he tried to get going. Sky avoided Walker again all match and tried to leave, but Mex wouldn't allow it and grabbed his own partner to throw him back in the ring! Sky would turn to take the superkick from Walker before the tag so Terrez could finish it off. The problems continue with Sky & Mexicutioner, while Walker finally gets a small measure of revenge on his ex Skywalkers tag team partner.
