Speaking of The Blacklist, kicking things off ...
TV Title match
Michael Hayes vs Chris Silvio (c)
Rematch from 2 weeks ago. The match was scheduled as Silvio getting a Heavyweight Title shot until Rudy Switchblade intervened with other plans. In stepped Hayes and the TV championship, Silvio winning thanks to the other 2 Blacklist members, Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker. Hayes starts the match strong with a fire and intensity not seen in him in several weeks, the commentators wondering if maybe the loss to Silvio has helped him get back that edge he had previously. A distraction from valet Mary Jane fails as Hayes turns to catch a kick from Silvio and turn him to an atomic drop. He goes for the Liberty Lock, but Silvio gets to the ropes for a break and heads outside to recuperate. Hayes follows to surprise Silvio and roll him back in, but as the ref turns his back to check on Silvio, Mary Jane hits Hayes. No effect. It does draw Hayes' attention though and allow for Silvio to get up and catch him with a suicide dive through the ropes. Silvio brings the action back in and starts taking control as he focuses his attack on the leg of Hayes, not the worst move given he only has 1. Silvio eventually locks in a sleeper, but Hayes fights to his feet and breaks free. He starts dishing out the offense and eventually connects with a jumping jawbreaker to the knee. As he gets up though, The Blacklist strikes again! This time no remorse as Jonze & Locker enter the ring and flat out attack Hayes to draw the bell.
Michael Hayes defeats Chris Silvio @ 6:18 via DQ due to interference from The Blacklist. Silvio retains the TV Title.
The commentators are left to wonder again on a possible connection between Silvio and The Blacklist, or if it is just their rivalry with Hayes. Either way, Silvio will take it as he retains the TV Title, and then joins them. Not for long though as from the back come Paredyse & Rockstar Ryan Howe for the save! It was 2 weeks ago they went 1 on 1 and last week saw Howe save Paredyse from The Blacklist. Now they are back out and help to clear the ring. Hayes gets helped up, but Silvio holds up his championship, noting he still has it and that's all that matters. Probably have not seen the last of this.

Ringside interview w/ Dylan Bostic
Terry Boddie is at ringside with the man that will take on Flash Flanagan this Saturday in a loser gets caned match. Bostic had been sidelined since getting attacked by Flash after a match at the last SNS, and last week the challenge was made. Is it in Bostic's best interest though? Bostic says he'd be lying if he said he didn't have second thoughts about this match. Flash is bigger than him and clearly a lot more ruthless. Caning and hardcore is his domain. But wrestling? That's Bostic's. And he intends to show Flash why he is 1 of the fastest rising stars in OVW today. And after he beats him, he's looking forward to giving him a taste of his own medicine. 10 shots from that cane as he rids Ohio Valley of Flash forever!
Elvis Pridemoore vs Jeremiah Plunkett
And speaking of callous attacks, that brings out The East as Plunkett is joined by The Sons of Chaos at ringside. 3 weeks ago it was Jax Dane, gone. 2 weeks ago it was Chase Owens, gone. And last week, Rob Conway. Nobody has been safe from their wrath and the commentators mention rumors that Conway may not be able to compete this Saturday in the scheduled Steel Cage match with Plunkett. That aside, tonight's opponent is the always versatile Elvis Pridemoore, but he is stepping into the fire here. He gets some offense in, but Plunkett is on a roll. Momentum on his side is more than enough to carry him to victory after his signature Gourdbuster connects on Pridemoore, followed by the 3 count for the win.
Jeremiah Plunkett defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:53 via pinfall after the Gourdbuster.
Afterward, The Sons of Chaos get into the ring. Plunkett instructs them to finish off Elvis when the all too familiar notes of Black Sabbath hit the P.A. Dean Hill says that we've been hearing that song for 17 years now echoing through OVW, it's Rob Conway! The Ironman steps out with a mic in hand as The Sons throw Elvis aside and Plunkett listens.
Rob Conway: I've heard the rumors. Rob Conway is done and I won't be ready for the Steel Cage match this Saturday at the Special. Let me clear up any of that right now. Am I 100%? No. Your boys there, I'll give them some credit. They're big and bad to the bone, but Saturday's in a Cage Plunkett. That means they're on the outside and you are on the inside with me. I wouldn't pass this up for the world! See you Saturday Plunkett!
Plunkett looks to The Sons, seemingly caring less. He doesn't look scared and Dean speculates that could mean some sort of a plan from The East. Cage or not, Conway better be ready for anything and everything this Saturday.

The Body Guy promo video
Out of action since the March Saturday Night Special with an undisclosed injury, a rather generic hype video airs featuring The Body Guy's silhouette posing over a fluorescent background to his theme music. The brief promo is tagged with "... returning next week". The wait is almost over.
Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana vs Country Jacked
The Tag Team champions have displayed some very public problems in recent weeks. Combine that with former referee turned manager Josh Ashcraft bringing in Country Jacked to the territory from a successful run elsewhere in the NWA. While they have a rematch for the title with The Wild Boyz on June 6 at the SNS booked by Cabana, this match was made last week in response by Compton. The commentators mention that the who can top this seems to continue outside the ring with the champs. Country Jacked show some good teamwork early on against Cabana, prompting Compton to request the tag and fair little better. The champs consult with each other in the corner and seem to turn things around. They start to display teamwork and quick tags, looking more like the tag team that won the belts back in March. As the actions continues, Cabana has Page down with Ashcraft in panic mode as a loss this early would send Country Jacked right back where they came from. Thinking fast, Ashcraft distracts Compton on the apron. Cabana looks for a tag, but his partner has his back to him. Page takes advantage of the momentary lapse by running Cabana into the back of Compton, sending him to the floor. Page turns Cabana and hits the arm trap reverse STO, Turn The Page! He covers and grabs the 3! A huge non title win here tonight for Country Jacked to move themselves into title contention for the winner at the SNS and the champions will enter the title match with The Wild Boyz on a sour note. Gilbert makes note that it was neither man's fault, but Dean sees it differently as the little issues have shown to escalate between the 2 of them before, so no reason to think this will be any different.
Country Jacked defeat Tag Team champions Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana in a non title match @ 7:29 when Adam Page pinned Cabana after Turn The Page.

Ringside interview w/ Mary Elizabeth Monroe
Terry Boddie is joined by the challenger for Taeler Hendrix's OVW Women's Title this Saturday. Monroe came close in the tournament final several weeks ago, only for Taeler's rule breaking to cost her the match. Now last week, Rebel scored a pinfall in the tag team match and the match at the Saturday Night Special has been changed. It will now be a 3 way for the title with Rebel joining the action. Monroe calls her out as Rebel joins them. Monroe congratulates her on the win but says that she has worked hard for this and while they are friends, she will stop at nothing to get what she deserves, the Women's Title. Rebel appreciates that, but notes she has also worked hard, and she even pinned the champion. She does not intend to go home empty handed. They can agree on 1 thing though, Hendrix will not leave champion. Monroe likes that and offers a handshake, saying may the better woman win.
Solo Darling vs Crazy Mary Dobson
Crazy Mary Dobson's quest towards a World Title shot at Heidi Lovelace continues tonight. Last heard from 2 weeks ago, she vowed to make it personal with Heidi Lovelace. Tonight her opponent is Lovelace's good friend and sometimes tag team partner Solo Darling. While a fan favorite, Solo seems to have no idea what she's in for her as Dobson stands in the ring with her Jason style hockey mask on. Removing it as the match begins, Dobson takes advantage of Solo early. She works her over without any regard, often times taunting Lovelace into the camera. Solo does manage to hit a dropkick though. A second follows, and a third sends Dobson down. Solo crawls to the corner for her candy as she looks for the Hulking up like effect that the sugar seems to have on her. Dobson however slaps the candy out of her hand and then slaps Solo. She kicks her and hits a gutwrench suplex before dragging her to the corner. The split legged moonsault follows and Dobson gets the 3 for the win. Message sent as Dobson gets another win, but was it received?
Crazy Mary Dobson defeats Solo Darling @ 5:32 via pinfall after the split legged moonsault.

More names for the June 21 show in Bowling Green, KY
Before the next match, more announcements concerning the joint show being held with Global Force Wrestling down south in Bowling Green on Sunday afternoon, June 21. Already announced is the NWA World champion AJ Styles, the NWA World Tag Team champions The Young Bucks, and the NWA World Women's champion Heidi Lovelace. Tonight though, some OVW names to add to that lineup. Ready for this? Rudy Switchblade, possibly the OVW champion come the 21 if he can beat Elijah Burke this Saturday. Also, interesting name as Jamin Olivencia will be there. We know he has to answer Jeff Jarrett this Saturday on whether or not he will join GFW, the 21 either being the start of the next phase in his career or stepping into hostile territory. More names and the first matches to be announced next week on OVW TV. Speaking of Olivencia though ...
Randy Terrez vs Melvin Maximus
Mr. Marvelous is in action, joined by manager Timmy Danger. This Saturday, they team against the unlikely pairing of Jamin Olivencia & Marcus Anthony. Both want their hands on Danger for the months, years of his actions, but the manager vows they will never get to him because Maximus will handle them with ease. His opponent tonight is the undefeated Randy Terrez. A high flying lucha inspired style, Terrez will need to move and move fast to stand any chance against the much larger Maximus. And move is exactly what Terrez does upon the bell. Using his speed, he stays a step ahead of Maximus. During the match comes the announcement that next Wednesday at 8pm on WBNA-TV 21, OVW will have their second 2 hour live special. Eventually Terrez jumps from the top rope into the waiting grasp of Maximus, who slams him down into the mat. Danger laughs on the floor as the commentators note it's just that easy and why nobody on the OVW roster has managed to pin him or make him submit. Too big, too strong. Maximus eventually locks in the bear hug on Terrez and he can say goodbye to his undefeated streak. Maximus wins, but this Saturday it's not just Maximus, and can he do enough to protect Danger from both Jamin Olivencia & Marcus Anthony, OVW's answer to the Mega Powers? We will find out in just a few days.
Melvin Maximus defeats Randy Terrez @ 5:51 via submission to the bear hug.

Saturday Night Special lineup
Director of Authority Jim Cornette is out. This Saturday June 6 is the next Saturday Night Special and OVW continues to roll on, heading into the next iPPV on Saturday July 11, entitled Futureshock. After what we saw earlier, 2 matches being made right now and they are both big ones ...
- TV champion Chris Silvio vs Michael Hayes for the title
- Paredyse & Ryan Howe vs Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker
... and that should keep The Blacklist busy, and hopefully prevent them from interfering in the Heavyweight Title match. But just in case The Blacklist have any fancy ideas, there's an announcement coming after the main event tonight that will greatly effect that title match. No hints other than it will be huge and a potential game changer. Filling out the card ...
- Heavyweight champion Elijah Burke vs Rudy Switchblade for the title
- Tag Team champions Cliff Compton & Colt Cabana vs The Wild Boyz for the title
- Women's champion Taeler Hendrix vs Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Rebel in a 3 way for the title
- Robbie Walker vs Aaron Sky
- Rump Thump vs Stuart Miles
- Dylan Bostic vs Flash Flanagan in a Loser Gets Caned match
- Jamin Olivencia & Marcus Anthony vs Melvin Maximus & Timmy Danger, plus Olivencia must answer Jeff Jarrett on the offer to join Global Force Wrestling
- Rob Conway vs Jeremiah Plunkett inside the Steel Cage
As noted earlier tonight, despite the attack by The East last week, Conway WILL compete. He is not 100%, but he refused to miss this chance at getting his hands on Plunkett. Just then music plays to interrupt Cornette. From the back comes Rudy Switchblade! The challenger for Saturday demands to know Cornette's surprise but he's stone faced and stands firm, the announcement will come after the next match. Switchblade says whatever and joins for commentary as Cornette leaves. Switchblade tells them that no announcement can impact his destiny. First, he will beat Elijah Burke this Saturday and take home the OVW Title, and then come hell or high water, he will get a sanctioned title match for the NWA North American Title, and he will win it. Nothing can stop him or The Blacklist.
Elijah Burke vs Eric Locker
Only days away from the biggest 1 on 1 of his title reign so far and The Pope is going to be put to the test against the former TV champion and winner of the 2014 Future Talent Showcase tournament. The commentators ask Switchblade what would happen should Locker win here and then Switchblade win the title on Saturday? Would he get a shot? Switchblade sidesteps the question and says that The Blacklist are like brothers, and unlike unstable groups like The East, they each know their roles. Dean says to tell that to The French Stallion. Burke controls the early going of the action, sending Locker to the floor in frustration to regroup. Switchblade stands from commentary to applaud and tells Locker it's ok, match is still young. Locker heads back in and it is more of the same. An error though takes place from Burke as he Irish whips Locker to the corner and charges in for the double high knee, only for Locker to move. After Burke goes knees first into the corner, Locker takes control and starts working away on the knee. Switchblade likes what he sees.
Locker continues to work away, eventually going for the ankle lock. Burke however rolls through, flipping Locker over. As they stand, Burke kicks him in the midsection and then sends Locker into the ropes. Leapfrog over as Locker goes under. Coming back, Burke tries for a back leapfrog, but jumps right onto the shoulders of Locker. This is a bad place as the electric chair is on. Just like that, Locker drops Burke and locks the arms, slamming Burke back with the German suplex, Hurt Locker! Burke is down as Switchblade yells to cover. Locker is groggy and slow, moving in without hooking the leg and only getting a 2 count before Burke gets the shoulder up. Locker gets Burke up and sends him into the ropes, but drops his head too early. Burke telegraphs it, drops down and hits an uppercut. Locker is reeling as Burke starts firing rights before sending him in for a back elbow. Locker goes to the corner as Burke hits the opposite and charges in with the running double high knee. This time it connects! Burke gets up, kicks Locker in the midsection, grabs him by the back of the head and drops back into the sitout facebuster, the Elijah Experience! Burke covers, picking up the 3, much to the dismay of Switchblade on commentary.
Heavyweight champion Elijah Burke defeats Eric Locker in a non title match @ 6:20 via pinfall after the Elijah Experience.
Switchblade says that's alright, because while Locker is good, everybody knows he's not Rudy Switchblade and Saturday will be another story. The same story told at Best In The World, the same story told when they met in a tag team match on TV, him pinning Burke, but this time for the title. Dean doubts it as Burke is showing a fire inside and Switchblade is clearly off his game. He says he'll show Dean just how on his game he is as he takes off the headset. Locker is on the floor as Switchblade goes over to him. Shiloh Jonze comes out and Burke notices, but too late. The 3 circle the ring, but before they can strike, Cornette is back out.
Jim Cornette: Gentlemen, and I use that term very loosely. I can't help but notice what's going on here, a 3 on 1 attack maybe? Is this like what we saw in the opening match? I don't think so. Before you get any ideas here, let me clue the 3 of you in on what's going down at the Saturday Night Special. It will be Elijah Burke defending the title against Rudy Switchblade, and just to keep those jackals busy, Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker against Paredyse & Ryan Howe! But even I'm not that naive. Is that enough? No guarantees. So what I've done is I've went out and gotten a special enforcer for this match. His job is to keep interference away and Switchblade, you might recognize the name. In fact everybody might recognize the name because he trained right here in OVW! This Saturday, for the first time since 2004, The Prototype comes home! And this time, it's guaranteed! That's right, the special enforcer is none other than JOHN CENA!
The Davis Arena erupts at that news. John Cena to return at the Saturday Night Special, acting as special enforcer in the title match, clearly angering Switchblade at ringside right now. He shakes his head and says no way. Burke likes it on the other hand as it means he can wrestle the match knowing somebody is looking out for the interference of Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker. Huge announcement just days away from the event. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week and remember to catch the Saturday Night Special this weekend live in the Davis Arena, or on demand the following day if you can't be there in person.
Websclusive match #1
Rump Thump defeats Jade Dawson @ 4:46 via pinfall after the Rumper Stumper. Setting up to finally get revenge on The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles at the SNS, Rump gets the fall on The Altar Boy here. The bigger happening though is Miles making a prematch offer to Ram Jam Jon Ramser after rejection last week - $5,000 of his church's donation money for a rematch. The deaf wrestler relays he will think about it, and then gives a no after the match to further upset the Pastor after his Altar Boy's defeat.
Websclusive match #2
Robbie Walker defeats Jason Lee @ 5:07 via pinfall after the superkick. Walker's comeback from knee surgery that shelved him for several months comes full circle as he competes in his first singles match since returning, picking up the win over veteran The Man Jason Lee. The personal issue between Walker and former tag team partner Aaron Sky finally hits the ring 1 on 1 at the SNS and from this performance, it would seem Walker is ready.
