Drew Galloway vs. Tony Nese
Galloway and Nese are another great matchup to start the show and both men battled hard before Galloway took control by countering a lariat with a Northern Lights suplex. Nese would battle back to get a near fall with a German suplex but a second German suplex would result in a counter and then a big boot from Galloway. An Ego Trip garnered a near fall and then the Future Shock earned Galloway the win.
Barbi Hayden vs. Jessicka Havok
Hayden and Havok both seemed intent on beating the hell out of each other and Havok seemed to control the beginning of the match. Havok looked for a powerbomb several times but Hayden somehow found a way to stay in the match. Both women began to throw devastating strikes until Havok connected with a kick to the midsection and once more looked for the powerbomb. Hayden would counter with a hurricanrana and barely held the right leg of Havok to escape with the win. Havok was shocked as Hayden’s hand was raised.
Chris Hero vs. La Sombra
Hero towered over Sombra as the match started but the quickness of the masked man would give Hero trouble from the outset. Sombra would hit some amazing planchas throughout the match but Hero would connect with the Cravate Countdown and Hero Sandwich for near falls of his own. Sombra eventually connected with a Northern Lights suplex for a two count and then tried for a split-legged corkscrew senton but Hero rolled out of the way. Hero would go for the Hangman’s Elbow but Sombra ducked out of the way and bounced off the ropes looking for a big move. Hero countered himself though and hit Death is Welcome to end the very competitive match.
Hideo Itami vs. Cedric Alexander
Itami and Alexander had an amazing battle of strikes to start their match with both men acknowledging the other at different points. Alexander found success early on as he connected with an Exploder Suplex and a Push-up facebuster. Itami would counter with a Fisherman Buster and a Shotgun Kick before ending the match with the Go 2 Sleep.
Seth Rollins vs. Kazuchika Okada
This match proved to be amazing from bell to bell as both men poured themselves into the match which was understandable given what was at stake. Okada would miss the Rainmaker several times while avoiding the Peace of Mind twice himself. Rollins pulled out a ton of old favorites as he connected with a springboard lariat, a running shooting star press and even the Phoenix Splash but Okada continued to kick out. Okada would score near falls with the Reverse Neckbreaker and the Senton Atomico before looking for the Rainmaker once more. Rollins countered with a quick elbow before connecting with the Skywalker. Okada rolled his shoulder at the last moment once more forcing Rollins to smack the mat in frustration. Rollins pulled Okada to his feet but both men countered each other tirelessly until Rollins connected with God’s Last Gift to score a great victory.
NWA World Tag Team Championships Match
The Young Bucks vs. Los Hijo del Toros
The Youngs Bucks and los Hijos del Toros tore the house down with a ton of emotion and a match that spilled all over the arena. The moments of the match that resembled a brawl clearly favored Rush & Texano but as long as the Young Bucks could keep the match in the ring they worked together seemlessly to maintain the advantage. Los Hijos del Toros had their best shot when Rush connected with La Lanza on Nick but Matt made the last second save to the dissatisfaction of the majority of the crowd. Eventually the Champions would have the upper hand as they connected with the Meltzer Driver on Texano only to both be laid out by a chair at the hands of Rush. The crowd was oddly split as the referee called for the bell while Rush stood on the turnbuckle waving his weapon of choice.
