Yes its 2 days early I realise, but I finished this show up last night and was so excited by it I decided to post the show here and now for you all, I consider it a prelude to what I aim to do with Summerslam. In particular the Personal Demons vs Matt Hardy match was just an utter blast to write from start to finish. if you do read this show, I would really appreciate a comment, even if its only a sentance or two, as I did put a lot of time and effort into this one over the past few weeks. Thanks for reading
NWA Maximum Presents: Maximum Force Live on iPPV
Bad News Barrett comes out to begin our show, reading some more news from his podium.
Barrett: “So as you might have seen, I wasn’t given an opponent for tonight’s show, and perhaps the locker room think that this means I won’t be wrestling on this show. Well I’ve got some BAD NEWS for you, I will be wrestling, and I will take on any man who thinks he is capable of stopping the undefeated streak!”
Barrett heads for the ring and awaits a challenger. And the challenge is answered by New Jersey favourite HOMICIDE! Barrett applauds, obviously underestimating the challenge that Homicide gives, maybe due to his size.
Bad News Barrett vs Homicide
Homicide went on an all out offensive on Barrett from the get go, exchanging fists and even managing to one up the ex-bare knuckle boxer in that exchange, before throwing him out of the ring AND HITTING A BEAUTIFUL TOP CON HILO! Homicide grabs some weapons from under the ring, including a garbage can which he smacks over the top of Barrett’s head, followed by the lid and then shoves Barrett in the garbage can which he smacks with a kendo stick several times. Homicide goes for a Lariat, but Barrett manages to reverse and hit a Big Boot. Barrett then picks up Homicide for a POWERBOMB ON THE GARBAGE CAN! 1-2-NO! Barrett throws Homicide to the ropes, but Homicide ducks underneath and hits that lariat this time around! 1-2-NO! Homicide goes for the Gringo Cutter, but Barrett blocks it, throws Homicide to the ropes and hits the Bad News Bull Hammer. 1-2-3, Barrett win to continue his hot streak!
Winner- Bad News Barrett
We cut backstage to see Sheamus and Dan Maff are already brawling away against each other, as their match get underway backstage.
Sheamus vs Dan Maff
This one all started when Sheamus and Maff ran into each other in a bar and a brawl erupted, with no definitive winner despite the near total destruction of their surroundings. And the two brawl all the way through the backstage area, destroying all in their path again, from throwing each other into locker room lockers to tossing each other into catering tables and soda machines. At one point Sheamus grabbed a Guinness, took a big swig and spat it into Maff’s face, then smacked him over the head with the can!
The two eventually found their way into the crowd, as Maff grabs a sign from a fan and breaks it over Sheamus’s head, getting a 2 count from the ref amongst the fans. The two have some more exchanges before Sheamus gets hold of Maff and has some of the fans throw punches to his gut. Sheamus then goes for an irish whip, but Maff reverses and send Sheamus flying into the chairs!
The two then finally get back into the ringside area after 10 or so minutes of brawling all over the arena, as Sheamus gets in the ring and Maff grabs the ring bell. He tries to hit Sheamus with it, but he ducks underneath and nails the Brogue Kick! 1-2-3, Sheamus wins a wild brawl!
Winner- Sheamus
Post match the two exchange a handshake and Maff raises the arm of Sheamus, then Sheamus calls for some cans of Guinness from the fans and the two have a beer bash. While these two clearly have personal respect for each other, I hope its not the last time we see them in a ring together, as this was a very fun contest between the two brawlers.
Non-Title Match
The Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) vs Very European (Cesaro and Rusev) w/Alex Koslov
Very European were brought in last week by Alex Koslov in order to answer the recent open challenges set by Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes. The fans were notably mixed, some cheering Very European, seeing them as potentially the team to dethrone the so far hated tag champions, others cheering The Rhodes Scholars because very European are not an American team, Koslov was at ringside as Rusev and Cesaro showed good chemistry, overpowering Cody Rhodes in the early exchanges, which he countered by speeding up his game and trying to ground his two opponents. Rhodes suck a tag to Sandow who used all of his ring smarts to isolate Cesaro from Rusev, as he and Rhodes pulled some fast double teams and showed why they have been unchallenged tag champions for as long as they have. Finally Cesaro got the tag and Rusev cleaned house on both of The Rhodes Scholars, dropping Rhodes with a Samoa Drop then hitting a jumping side kick to the head of Sandow. Cesaro grabs Rhodes and swings him around in a Giant Swing, as Rusev charges off the ropes and hits a spinning heel kick to Rhodes’ head! Rusev locks Rhodes in The Accolade and he taps out in seconds!
Winners- Very European
Koslov comes into the ring post match with the Russian flag, as Rusev and Cesaro swing the flags of Bulgaria and Switzerland respectively, the fans again giving a very mixed reaction. Its clear that Very European will get a title shot at The Rhodes Scholars now, but who will the fans side with?
“The Best Wrestler in the World” Daniel Bryan vs Austin Aries
I don’t need to go into depth about the history these two have, they’ve wrestled many times before and you know what to expect at this point, so lets go straight into the match. The two spent the first five to ten minutes of this matchup just exchanging holds and counter holds, with no man really getting a decisive advantage either way. The fans were somewhat mixed to this, some loving the fantastic technical wrestling on showcase, the other who are more used to the hardcore side of NWA Maximum becoming a bit impatient waiting for the action to pick up.
Finally it did when Aries took a chance, charging the ropes to take Bryan down with a Clothesline, then charging again which Bryan ducked under before hitting an Arm Drag. The two exchanged Arm Drags before Aries managed to take Bryan out of the ring with one, THEN NAILS THE HEAT SEEKING MISSILE! The fans love that as Aries picks up Bryan and tosses him head first into the guardrail and then the steel steps, then throws him back into the ring and begins working the neck, setting up for the Brainbuster or indeed the Last Chancery.
After some consistent neck work over a 5 minute period, Bryan slips out of a Brainbuster attempt, hitting a German Suplex that takes us to a standing 10 count. Aries makes it up first with Bryan not far behind, as he hits some charging Forearms, throws Aries into the corner and then hit a charging one, followed by a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Bryan then climbs up top and hits the Diving Headbutt! 1-2-NO! LEBELL LOCK! Aries struggles and is close to the ropes, making it as Bryan is forced to release the hold. He starts the “YES!” chants up as he prepares to hit the Running Knee Strike, but Aries avoids it and hits a nasty Forearm, followed by a spinning kick to the forehead. He picks up Bryan. BRAINBUSTER! 1-2-2.999! So close and I don’t know how Bryan kicked out of that. Aries goes up top and looks for the 450 Splash, but Bryan moves and Aries smashes into the canvas! RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! 1-2-NO, BRYAN LOCK THE LEBELL LOCK! Aries holds on for as long as he can, but he taps out!
Winner- Daniel Bryan
Grudge Tag Team Match
Money Inc (Alberto Del Rio and Robert Roode) vs Priceless ("The Everyman" Ted Dibiase and "Cowboy" James Storm)
Money Inc come down to the ring in a limo to show off their wealth, while Dibiase and Storm come in through the crowd, sharing in a pre-match beer with the fans. They drink the last of their beer, get in the ring AND SMASH THE BOTTLES OVER DEL RIO AND ROODE’S HEADS! The brawl erupts and in a way I don’t think Money Inc quite knew what hit them here, Priceless were on fire and showed great chemistry, making this into a fight rather than a wrestling match. Dibiase got some much needed retribution on his former tag partner Roode, spending much of the match pounding away on him on the outside of the ring, while Storm and Del Rio exchanged near falls in the ring. Eventually all four end up in the ring again and in a quick exchange, Roode throws Del Rio his brass knuckles, BUT DIBIASE CATCHES THEM! He gets ready to hit Del Rio with them, but after Roode smashes Storm with a chair, he sneaks up behind Dibiase and rolls him up, 1-2-3!
Winners- Money Inc
Money Inc look to escape the ring, Del Rio slips out but Dibiase grabs Roode. DREAM STREET! Storm and Dibiase beat away on Roode with stomps and give him a shot with the brass knuckles as Del Rio does nothing to help, showing what he thinks of his so called “right hand man”. Storm and Dibiase celebrate their achievements with some beers as while they lost the match, they have had the last laugh!
Handicap Match
"The Most Hybrid Athlete in NWA History" Kyle Matthews vs The Family (Bray Wyatt and Paul London)
Kyle Matthews has chosen to face The Family on his own, as he has felt betrayed by his tag partner and rival Johnny Gargano who refused to fight in this match, his mind fully on his World Heavyweight Title match against AJ Styles in our main event. Matthews walks down to the ring with his signature chair in hand, gets in AND SMASHES LONDON OVER THE HEAD WITH THE CHAIR! Wyatt charges and Matthews sidesteps as Wyatt falls out of the ring! This gives Matthews time to smash London with a few more vicious chairshots, as the plan is clear: take out London then he will have Wyatt all alone. Wyatt gets back in and grabs Matthews, throwing him to the corner and unleashing some punches, but London is busted open and hurt badly from those chair shots.
Wyatt throws Matthews to another corner, but Matthews avoid the charge and goes for the Slurpee Kick, only for Wyatt to catch Matthews in mid move and hit a Side Slam for a near fall. Wyatt begins to systematically pick apart Matthews, using his near 100 pound weight advantage to dominate his much smaller opponent. London recovers and then joins the attack, the two attacking Matthews two on one and this is NWA Maximum rules, so there’s not a thing that the ref can do to stop the assault.
HERE COMES JOHNNY GARGANO! Gargano has had enough of sitting on the sidelines and has come to help his tag partner. He rushes in, grabs the chair of Matthews and dazes Wyatt with it, then grabs London. HURTS DONUT! He charges at Wyatt and the two fall out of the ring as both Matthews and London are down. Matthews manages to climb to his feet first as London is still dazed. HIDAKA LOCK! Matthews has the hold fully locked and London is bleeding too much to hold on, he taps out, Matthews wins thanks to Gargano!
Winner- Kyle Matthews
Wyatt and Gargano are still going at it on the floor, but Wyatt grabs him. SISTER ABIGAIL ON THE FLOOR! Matthews rushes to try and help, but Wyatt grabs London and leaves, the damage having been done. Gargano has proven that he still wants to help Matthews overcome Bray Wyatt and The Family, but at what cost? There’s no way he will be fully recovered for his match versus AJ Styles in our main event, and for that sort of match, you have to be a full strength. Styles may have a lot easier night than he perhaps initially expected!
NWA Maximum Heavyweight and TV Titles on the Line
Karl Anderson vs Randy Orton vs Dean Ambrose
So going into this I think we all expected a wild and fast paced three way contest, with lots of potential for a title change. What we got instead was very disappointing for the fans. The match started with all three men brawling, with Orton getting tossed to the floor. Orton grabs a chair and throws it into the ring, but doesn’t get back in the ring. Anderson grabs the chair and takes a swipe at Orton who stands back, then Anderson SMASHES Ambrose with the chair! The ref then calls for the bell?!? Then raises Ambrose’s hand and gives him the NWA Maximum Heavyweight Title?!? What the hell is going on?
Winner- NEW NWA Maximum Heavyweight Champion, Dean Ambrose?
Orton takes the mic.
Orton: “Hey Karl, remember what I said about reading the fine print on that contract? Maybe you should have, you see I inserted some additional clauses. The first was that unlike your regular NWA Maximum match, weapons are outlawed, meaning the match can end on a disqualification. And secondly, the title CAN change hands on a DQ finish, so say goodbye to your title chump!”
Ambrose leaves with his title and Anderson is furious, AND HE GRABS ORTON BEFORE HE CAN ESCAPE! He fires away on Orton with punch after punch as the ref tries to stop the fight AND ANDERSON PUNCHES HIM TO THE FLOOR! There goes Anderson’s pay for the night, but he doesn’t care as he throws Orton into the steel steps head first. He grabs Orton and pulls him up onto the steps. GUN STUN ON THE STEPS! But he’s not done, he grabs the near lifeless Orton and drags him to the announcers table and takes him on top of it. GUN STUN ON THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE! And the table didn’t break, that’s nasty! Anderson wraps one of the TV cables around Orton’s throat and tries to choke him out as officials rush in and drag Anderson off of Orton the guy has completely lost it and I can’t blame him after losing his title in such cheap fashion. I expect we will see more of the same in the coming week as Anderson I’m sure will try to take Orton’s belt to avenge losing his own!
Brother vs Brother, Matt Hardy Must Retire If He Loses
Matt Hardy vs Personal Demons
Well this is it, the match that has been building now for over 4 months, since the very beginning of NWA Maximum when Jeff Hardy turned on his brother, putting him in the hospital with a brutal assault and renaming himself Personal Demons. He was soon joined by The Reject, the former Shannon Moore, and together they ended the career of legendary NWA star Chris Jericho. Now Matt Hardy has returned and his own career is on the line here, but with Shane Helms blaming him for Chris Jericho’s retirement he is a man alone in his battle.
Demons made his way out first, only for Hardy to charge out and attack him from behind as the match got underway. The two brawled around the ringside area as Hardy threw everything he had at Demons, firing away with punches and grabbing any weapon he could from the ringside area to smash Demons with.
The match eventually got into the ring as Hardy got a chair out and started pummelling away on Demons with it in the same vicious fashion that he had been attacked with months earlier, as he screamed with satisfaction and rage at his actions! Hardy goes for a charging chairshot to Demons in the corner, but Demons moves and he collides with the chair in the corner! Demons then grabs the chair AND HITS HARDY WITH A SICKENING CHAIRSHOT! The chair has a massive dent in it and Hardy is busted open from that.
Demons hits a few stomps plus some grounded chair shots, then goes outside and gets a ladder from under the ring! He takes the ladder into the ring and charges at Hardy, smacking him full force with it! Demons then picks up Hardy and slams him onto the ladder, and quickly heads up top, following it up with a Splash from the top onto Hardy! He goes for the cover, but Hardy kicks out at 2.
Demons then sets up the ladder in the corner, and I think he’s looking for the same move he had on Brodus Clay during the Maximum Destruction tour, to bring the full weight of the ladder down on Hardy’s skull, this would end the match for sure. He goes for it, but Hardy moves ND DEMONS CRASHES AND BURNS ONTO THE LADDER! Both men are down as the ref starts a double count.
Hardy is up at 7 as Demons makes it up at 9, and Hardy mounts a fightback, firing away with punches and clotheslines on Demons before hitting a Side Effect for a 2 count. He then calls for the Twist of Fate, but before he can hit it here comes The Reject as we all expected, as he and Hardy start fighting away on one another with strikes.
Then Shane Helms finally makes an appearance, walking down the ramp with chair in hand. He is dressed in his Hurricane gear, but in black and white colours rather than the green and black we are used to. He gets in the ring AND SMACKS HARDY IN THE SKULL WITH THE CHAIR! Dammit, he was on the side of Personal Demons all along. The Reject recovers in the corner as Helms tells Demons to finish off Hardy. Demons goes to pick up Hardy AND HELMS SMASHES HIM IN THE BACK WITH THE CHAIR! The Reject is in shock and charges at Helms, who grabs him by the throat. HURRI-CHOKESLAM! Helms grabs the chair and throws it down in the middle of the ring, grabbing Demons. VERTEBREAKER ON THE CHAIR! Helms has destroyed everyone and shown he’s on nobody’s side, leaving through the crowd as the fans chant “Helms!” over and over, what a statement!
Hardy slowly crawls over to the downed Demons, desperately trying to get over there to cover him, taking over a minute to get there. He makes it, 1-2-NO, HARDY KICKED OUT AT 2.999! The fans boo as they thought that was it. Hardy gets up and drags the downed Demons over a bit closer to the corner and climbs the top rope. HARDY LEGDROP! 1-2-DEMONS GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES! Hardy was so close to winning it there and then.
Hardy picks up Demons and wants to hit the Twist of Fate. Then The Reject with the last of his energy sneaks a Low Blow, dammit that would have been it if he’d hit it. This gives Demons time to drag himself to his feet, getting the chair in place on the canvas as he struggles to stand. TWIST OF FATE ON THE CHAIR! He struggles however to make the cover due to his tiredness, but gets there eventually. 1-2-NO, HARDY KICKS OUT, HOW DID HE GET OUT OF THAT! Demons stumbles up again and goes to the top rope, as The Reject crawls over and hold Hardy’s legs so that he can’t move out of the way. SWANTON BOMB! 1-2-3, DEMONS WINS AND HARDY’S CAREER IS OVER, WHAT A MATCH!
Winner- Personal Demons
Demons celebrates his achievement as the fans boo, as he along with The Reject has ended the in-ring career of his brother Matt Hardy. The Fallen leave as Hardy makes it to his feet and gets a standing ovation from everyone in attendance, plus "Thank you Hardy" chants. Hardy salutes the fans and leaves, looking dejected but he gave it his all and went out on a high. Thank you Matt Hardy!
First Time Ever Dream Match
"The Baddest Man on the Planet" Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe
A match that perhaps we thought would never happen, as two of the greatest heavyweight wrestlers of their generation step into the ring with each other for what can only be billed as a dream match. The two have an intense staredown as the fans are red hot for this, they’ve done well to keep on cheering after how much the last match and indeed the show must have taken out of them. The bell rings and here we go
The two lock up and Lesnar shoves Joe into the corner, despite their almost perfectly matched height and weight Lesnar shows he has the power to overpower Joe. The two lock up again, and Joe does the same, showing he can step up to the plate in the power stakes. The two lock up one more time and Joe has Lesnar against the ropes, breaks and fires away with punches and chops, then goes for an irish whip. Lesnar reverses, Joe ducks underneath the Clothesline attempt and hits a massive Forearm Smash that takes Lesnar out of the ring. So far so good for Joe!
Lesnar composes himself and gets back into the ring, as the two lock up for a second time. Lesnar managing to get Joe into the corner, and then Lesnar fires away with knees to Joe’s gut in the corner until he slumps to the canvas. Lesnar picks him up, throws him to the ropes, Joe ducks underneath but LESNAR RUNS THROUGH HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Joe got turned inside out on that one!
Lesnar starts pounding away on Joe with mounted punches, and follows that up with some knees to the skull, as Joe is now busted open. Lesnar lifts Joe and hits a Belly to Belly Suplex and raises his arms, the fans booing as Lesnar is showing just how dominant he can be. He goes for the cover but only get a 2 count.
Lesnar then puts Joe in a Rear Naked Choke, looking to make Joe pass out from the blood loss as the hold make the blood pour out of his forehead. The fans rally behind Joe with chants as he holds on, eventually managing to make it to his feet and back Lesnar into the corner. Joe stumbles away AND LESNAR HITS ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE! He goes for the cover, 1-2-NO! Lesnar begins to get frustrated as he goes and gets a steel chair, looking to end this with a shot to the skull. He goes for it but Joe avoids the shot, CHAIR ASSISTED ENZIGURI! Both men are down after that and the 10 count begins.
Lesnar is up at 5 and prepares for yet another Clothesline as Joe gets to his feet. Lesnar charges BUT JOE HITS A POWERSLAM! 1-2-NO! Joe lifts up Lesnar and tosses him into the corner and follows it with a Splash, then hits the Facewash. Joe then hits an Exploder suplex out of the corner and goes for the cover, 1-2-NO, JOE LOCK THE STF! Lesnar is in trouble but he manages to get to the ropes!
Joe calls for the Muscle Buster as he throws Lesnar into the corner and lifts him to the ropes, but Lesnar boots him in the face. Lesnar then goes for the F5, but Joe escapes out the back, COQUINA CLUTCH! Lesnar is in real trouble now as he slumps to the canvas and Joe locks the hold fully, how long can Lesnar hold on for? Lesnar somehow manages to battle his way back to his feet, reverses the hold and hits a German Suplex! 1-2-NO, LESNAR LOCKS THE KIMURA! Its now Joe who is in trouble but he is close to the ropes. He crawls with all of his might AND MAKES THE ROPES! Lesnar is again frustrated, and calls for the F5.
He lifts Joe up for that F5, but Joe again escapes, shoving Lesnar back to the corner. He manages to get Lesnar up for the Muscle Buster, but Lesnar just about escapes and grabs Joe. F5! 1-2-3, JOE HAD HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES BUT THE REF DIDN’T SEE IT! Lesnar wins it, but in very controversial circumstances, Joe’s foot was clearly on the ropes!
Winner- Brock Lesnar
Lesnar celebrates his win and the ref raises his hands, but the fans are booing furiously and chanting “bullshit”. Chris Jericho then gets up from the announcers table and gets in the ring, shouting at the ref that Joe had his foot on the ropes and demands a video replay, but the ref says his decision is final. Lesnar then gets in Jericho’s face and the two have a staredown, as Lesnar shoves Jericho. Physically provoked, JERICHO ATTACKS LESNAR! Jericho throws punch after punch at Lesnar, and goes for the irish whip, BUT LESNAR HOLDS THE ARM AND HITS A CLOTHESLINE! He lifts up Jericho, F5! Lesnar leaves as the fans boo, and Joe recovers as he and officials attend to Jericho, who is hurt after that F5.
Jericho is retired, so there’s no chance of him getting physical retribution in a match, but will he find some other way to get revenge for the assault? And what of Samoa Joe, he’s had a legit right to a rematch versus Lesnar after the ref missed the rope break, will we see a second match between these two?
NWA World Heavyweight Title Match
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs Johnny Gargano
Styles gets a massive ovation from the fans as he appears in an NWA Maximum ring for the first time. Gargano them comes out to a similarly strong reaction, but he looks beaten up and tired after the assault from Bray Wyatt earlier, exactly what he didn’t need going into this matchup.
The bell rings and Gargano decides that if he’s going to win this, he needs to go all out from the get go, so charges at Styles and takes him down with a forearm, then another and follows this with a Dropkick that takes Styles out of the ring. SUICIDE DIVE BY GARGANO! He quickly grabs Styles and throws him back in the ring and hits a Slingshot DDT, 1-2-NO! Gargano calls for the Hurts Donut, it he pulls this off so soon it’d be astonishing. Styles however blocks the move and hits a Snap Suplex, following it with the Phenomenon which gets him a 2 count. Styles picks up Gargano, then nails a Rack Bomb, he’s also looking to end this quick to prove a point. 1-2-NO! He puts Gargano in the Muta Lock to wear him down some more, but Gargano struggles and Styles is forced to release the hold. Styles his a Brainbuster and get another near fall, but still can’t quite put Gargano away. He now wants the Styles Clash.
Before Styles can hit the move HERE COMES KYLE MATTHEWS! Matthews wants to return the favour as he has his steel chair in hand. CHAIRSHOT TO THE BACK OF STYLES! Styles is dazed as Matthews prepares for a shot to the skull. But Gargano gets up and gets in Matthews’ face, fuming at him for getting involved like this in an NWA World Title match. Matthews explodes in return at his help being rejected and leaves, this will only lead to more friction between the two.
Gargano is not one to turn down a chance however, he mounts a fightback by hitting a Superkick and prepares for another move. HURTS DONUT! 1-2-2.999! CROSSTON CRAB! Gargano could still win this as Styles is struggling to hold on. STYLES MAKES IT TO THE ROPES! Gargano releases the hold and tries to hit one more Hurts Donut, but Styles reverses, STYLES CLASH! 1-2-3, Styles retains, but had Matthews been able to hit that second chairshot, we might have been looking at a new NWA World Champion (though would Gargano have wanted to win the belt in such a controversial fashion).
Winner- AJ Styles
Styles look relieved to have retained his title, despite the unwanted interference from Kyle Matthews, as he helps Gargano to his feet and the two shake hands, with Gargano raising his arm in victory before leaving. Styles gets his belt and celebrates, the fans applauding his efforts.
However, the celebration is interrupted by Personal Demons, who walks down the ramp and into the ring. We all know he had a three step plan: retire Chris Jericho, retire his brother and then take on AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Title. It looks like he’s here to initiate that part of his plan. Demons takes the mic.
Demons: “Hello AJ. You have something that I want, and I think you know exactly what it is. The time has come for Personal Demons to rise to the top of the NWA, and that means taking that belt from around your waist.“
Styles: “Why in the hell should I give you a title shot, after everything you’ve done in the past few months. You beat the crap out of your own brother so bad you put him the hospital, then you ended his career. You ended the career of one of the greatest NWA World Champions of all time, Chris Jericho. And now you think you should be rewarded with a title shot? I’m not letting you disrespect this belt, as long as I’m champion an undeserving drug addict like you won’t ever get a title shot.”
Demons: “There you go with your drugs remarks again. I’ve been clean for years AJ, or did you forget when I told you that months ago! It wouldn’t surprise me, you are a redneck after all. And you know AJ, I’m glad that you don’t want to put that belt on the line against me right now, that makes things all the more fun. Because you see AJ, it’d be too easy for you to just give me a title shot, instead I want to see you beg and plead on your indy spot monkey knees to be able to put your title on the line against a real star like me!”
THE REJECT SMACKS STYLES IN THE BACK WITH A CHAIR! He came out of the crowd when Demons was talking and now it’s a 2 on 1 beatdown on the champ as The Reject throws chairshots and Demons stomps away on him. Demons picks up Styles, TWIST OF FATE! And now he’s up to the top rope. SWANTON BOMB! He has The Reject count a mock 3 count and grabs the belt and the mic, grabbing Styles by the hair and stares into the camera.
Demons: “Like I said AJ, you are going to be begging and pleading to get into the ring with me, because until you give me that title shot, I am going to make your life a living hell. If you thought what I did to my brother was bad, just wait until you see what I have lined up for you! Of course you could pretend that this attack never happened and stay away from NWA Maximum, but then everyone will think you are a coward. You have to come back here to try and get some revenge, and every time you do I’ll beat you down even worse. Soon AJ, you’ll be putting your title on the line, and when you do, the entire NWA will fall to Personal Demons!”
Demons throws the belt down and leaves, and the show ends with the NWA World Champion laid out in the middle of the ring. Personal Demons may be the biggest threat to AJ Styles’ reign so far!
