The commentators welcome viewers to the show. If you weren't there in Bowling Green, what a show you missed. Coverage of that right here tonight, plus more news on Futureshock, only weeks away on iPPV on July 11. Tonight, lots of announcements for that, as well as lots of action in the ring. Scheduled for action here ...
- 6 man tag with Michael Hayes, Paredyse & Ryan Howe vs Rudy Switchblade, Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker
- Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Rebel in a #1 contenders match
- Marcus Anthony is here in singles action
- Chris Silvio is here in action for the first time since his bizarre appearance 2 weeks ago
Plus Ironman Rob Conway is here to talk about the Nightmare Rumble, Crazy Mary Dobson has some words for the World champion Heidi Lovelace, and a big announcement from Josh Ashcraft. Dean says not to hold your breath on that. But kicking us off here this week is non title tag team action ...
The Wild Boyz vs The Congregation
The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles is in fine for, coming out with his bag o' cash, containing $10,000. Joined by Altar Boy Jade Dawson, he tells the camera that Ram Jam has made a big mistake in accepting the rematch. The Wild Boyz come out as it gets announced that a match is now official with them defending their Tag Team Title at Futureshock against Country Jacked. The match is very much a showcase for The Pastor, not his skills in the ring but rather ability to boss Altar Boy around and try and control things. The Wild Boyz had none of it though, holding their own and showing why they are the champions. As the action is on going, from the back comes Rump Thump & Ram Jam. With Dawson in the ring and Miles running in to break up a cover, Thump proceeds to take the bag! This incenses the Pastor. The 2 then start handing out cash to the fans! Miles tells Dawson to do something, but it only serves to allow EFD to lock in the Crossfire. Dawson is tapping within seconds.
Tag Team champions The Wild Boyz defeat The Congregation in a non title match @ 5:43 when Eddie Diamond made Jade Dawson tap out to the Crossfire Crossface.
After the match, fans are holding up their cash to the camera (with close ups revealing whopping $1 bills are being given away to about 10 fans, better than nothing). The Wild Boyz take some cash and start their enjoyment, throwing some out as well. All told about 25 $1 bills make their way to the fans before Miles takes the mic.
Stuart Miles: Stop it! This is outrageous, it is blasphemous! You have stolen that money from me and I want it back, I want it back now! If you don't give it back ... you ... you ... have to ... live with yourself!
Nobody cares as the fans are now chanting "Stewie, Stewie" with encouragement. Dean calls Miles the biggest sinner of all! Looks like he might not be getting his rematch with Ram Jam after all, because at this point, he has the money anyway! No, instead Ram Jam leaves it at the ring and points to the Pastor with some sign language. Rump Thump gives the translation.
Rump Thump: Yeah, we could take the money and run! What you do every week to your so called "followers". But we ain't like that. You wanna know what Ram Jam just said to you? See you next week, cause it's on little Stewie!

Ringside interview w/ Josh Ashcraft
Terry Boddie is at ringside with the manager, claiming to have a huge announcement. Not only did we already find out Country Jacked is going to be the next Tag Team champions come Futureshock. But he has a huge acquisition, in fact the biggest acquisition - Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus! The 350 pounder heads out as Ashcraft says this alliance will rock OVW to its very core. This man is not only winning the Nightmare Rumble, but he's no done hiding in the shadows. He's taking his spotlight and he's taking it next week on TV. The challenge is made to Rob Conway for a 1 on 1 match because while he might win a tag by beating his partner, he can never beat Maximus 1 on 1, man to man. Conway will be here later with a response.
Marcus Anthony vs Deonta Davis
Brought on by a match on the websclusive where Anthony dominated Leon Shelly, now he faces the other half of The No Class Connection. The results are pretty much identical. A dominant performance from Anthony as he continues to show why he is the top dog in the yard here. As announced in the websclusive also, Anthony is in the Nightmare Rumble and has to be a favorite. After destroying Davis, Anthony finally locks him into the full nelson known as the Crimson Omen. Davis is verbally submitting within seconds. Shelly tests his luck in jumping Anthony after the bell. Davis gets up and joins him, but Anthony shoves them both off as they retreat to the back.
Marcus Anthony defeats Deonta Davis @ 2:51 via submission to the Crimson Omen.

Taeler Hendrix joins on commentary
Shadowed as always by Seleziya Sparx. The Women's champion refuses to sit on the seat, forcing Gilbert into removing his jacket first so she can sit on that instead. Asked on the competitors, Hendrix laughs and says she beat both of them already at the last Saturday Night Special in the same match. Either of them 1 on 1 is no match for her. Dean says what about Seleziya then? Why is she not in this match? Hendrix gets annoyed at the suggestion and says that Seleziya's role is to make sure she stays Women's champion, nothing more, nothing less.
Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Rebel
The 2 top contenders to the OVW Women's Title battle it out, winner to get their shot at the July 4 Saturday Night Special, airing on WBNA-TV in 10 days time. Monroe and Rebel go back and forth with the occasional distraction from Hendrix mouthing off to get their attention. Sparx stands on the floor though in between, giving the champion reason to be arrogant. Rebel gets control of the match and hits the split legged legdrop, but only manages a 2 count before Monroe kicks out. She keeps the pressure on, but the mistake would come. Rebel sets Monroe up for a suplex, but she blocks it. Instead of reversing though, she hooks the legs in and drops Rebel to put her into the dreaded modified STF. The Rainbow Cross is firmly applied and Rebel is left with little choice but to tap. Monroe wins and she gets her 1 on 1 title shot on July 4, but Hendrix is not afraid. She stands and heads towards the ring, raising her championship up. Monroe just nods and says to bring it.
Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Rebel @ 6:14 via tap out to the Rainbow Cross.

Ringside interview w/ Crazy Mary Dobson
Terry Boddie is joined by the woman seeking out a World Title match with Heidi Lovelace. Dobson says that she showed everybody 2 weeks ago what Lovelace is. A poser. A fake. She doesn't deserve to be champion because she's not hardcore. Had it not been for her little 'buddy' Solo, she would have finished the job and the NWA would have had to vacate the title. She wants a title match with Lovelace, deserves the match, and she wants it under her rules - a death match! We'll see if Lovelace is all bark or if she actually has some bite.
Elvis Pridemoore vs Cliff Compton
The former co holder of the Tag Team Title has been exhibiting some troubling behavior in recent weeks, abandoning Colt Cabana in a match 2 weeks and no showing all together last week. Today he is in singles action, and seems to want nothing to do with this match either. Beforehand, he has some words ...
Cliff Compton: Look, I get it. Everybody wants an answer. Well you'll get it next week, but I want Colt Cabana here so I can say it to his face. As for you, what is it, White Lightning? Elvis, don't waste my time. Just like the King, you should be dead. Do yourself a favor, leave right now and spare yourself what's to come.
Compton surrenders the mic up but Elvis is not leaving. Compton says alright, walks towards him, only to cheap shot him to start the action. Compton controls Elvis in the early going, but Pridemoore manages to make a comeback. He gets in some rights and hits a bodyslam. He has some momentum going, but Compton manages a thumb to the eye. With Elvis dazed, Compton hooks in and steps up to the middle rope, coming off with the springboard tornado DDT. The 3 count is elementary at this point. Compton wins, but we will have to wait another week to get some answers out of him.
Cliff Compton defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:36 via pinfall after The Cliffhanger.

Robbie Walker vs Chris Silvio
This is the first appearance of the TV champion since his kabuki mask, white face painted with blood spattered appearance 2 weeks ago, attacking Elijah Burke. Last week it was announced that at Futureshock on July 11, Silvio has the chance to become a duel champion when he challenges for the OVW Title. Tonight though, Silvio comes out ... and is in full out Psychodelic Superstar mode. Accompanied by Mary Jane, the commentators are not quite sure what to make of this. Gilbert suggests that maybe that was an aberration, he is after all the Psychodelic Superstar.
While non title, it is an excellent chance for Walker to impress as he has looked good in recent weeks. The return from injury and entry into singles seems to have pushed him to that next level, and in the early going here, he gets close to the upset. Several near falls catch Silvio off guard and force him to exit to recuperate. Silvio heads back in, but gets more of the same until finally getting control of the match. He focuses on wearing Walker down with a sleeper as Dean notes that Walker reminds him of a young Silvio 10 years ago, comparing The Skywalkers to Totally Awesome. The crowd gets Walker going as he avoids the arm dropping a third time and starts to make a comeback after freeing himself. He slams Silvio and steps back to set up for the superkick. Mary Jane gets on the apron to distract Walker, quickly hopping down as he gets near. This gives Silvio enough time though that when Walker turns, he takes the Superman punch square in the jaw and is out like a light. Silvio covers and grabs a win heading into Futureshock. The question now becomes what the deal was 2 weeks ago, and if that side of Silvio will come out again?
TV champion Chris Silvio defeats Robbie Walker in a non title match @ 7:08 via pinfall after the Rocket Punch.

Ringside interview w/ Rob Conway
Terry Boddie is standing by with The Ironman, addressing the challenge made earlier by Melvin Maximus & his new manager Josh Ashcraft. Conway says that it's quite unfortunate that Maximus always feels the need to associate himself with these con artists posing as managers. He has the size, the strength, the skill, but lacks the mental aspect, and is not getting it from any of them. Conway says he could duck and hide until The Nightmare Rumble, but he's going to man up. He accepts the challenge for next week on TV and he intends on showing everybody, Maximus included, that Ashcraft is nothing but bad news.
Michael Hayes, Paredyse & Ryan Howe vs Rudy Switchblade, Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker
Main event time, set up from the close of last week's broadcast. As with then, no sign of Ali Vaez, using his lack of clearance as reason to avoid wrestling, maybe it's also given Jim Cornette reason to bar him from the building all together. While Switchblade challenges John Cena at Futureshock for the NWA North American Title, the other 5 in this match are formally announced as entrants #7-11 in the 30 man Nightmare Rumble, joining Anthony, Body Guy, Conway, Maximus, Owens, and Plunkett.
Before the action, footage is shown from the Bowling Green event. Switchblade was able to pull off a big win by defeating the former NWA North American champion and OVW alumni Mark Jindrak, the very man Cena beat for the title, but it was his actions later on that got attention. Nikki Bella had just lost a match when Switchblade came out and grabbed her, intimidating her, telling her to send a message to Cena that he's coming for his title on July 11, and when he does, maybe she can try being with a real man. She then slapped him, which drew a smile from Switchblade, seemingly getting the reaction he wanted.
Onto the action with all 6 wrestlers here fired up. The Hayes led team gets some early work in on Jonze, but as Paredyse hits the ropes, Switchblade pulls down the top rope with Locker distracting the referee, to send him tumbling over and to the floor. The Blacklist trio take turns on Paredyse, with quick tags to keep him isolated. Locker sets up for the Hurt Locker, lifting Paredyse up into the Electric Chair, but the unorthodox 1 counters with a victory roll for a 2 count. As they pop up, Paredyse catches Locker with a swinging neckbreaker but is a long way from a tag. Locker makes it to Switchblade, who races in, but is too late. Paredyse tags Hayes and it is time for some revenge from last week.
Hayes comes in with a flood of offense, eventually dropping Switchblade with a back body drop. Jonze comes in but takes a right. Locker tries coming back in but takes a right as well. Howe comes in and together, they send Locker out with a double clothesline. Jonze gets some of the same. Switchblade is now left alone and takes a DDT from Hayes. Howe returns to the apron and takes a tag, heading up to the middle rope. The Chart Topper awaits as Switchblade starts getting up. From the back though comes Ali Vaez! This leads to Hayes dropping from the apron and backing him off. The referee warns Vaez to get out of there. Howe takes his eye off the ball long enough that Switchblade is up and ready. Howe jumps off the ropes for the Blockbuster DDT, but Switchblade is instantly ready to jump and catch him with the RudyKO. Switchblade covers as Paredyse tries getting back in, but is too weak as Locker grabs the leg to easily hold him back.
Rudy Switchblade, Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker defeat Michael Hayes, Paredyse & Ryan Howe @ 9:35 when Switchblade pinned Howe after the RudyKO.
The wins keep coming for Switchblade. There is no doubt he is on a roll with victories over Jessie Godderz, Mike Mondo, Jay Bradley, Michael Hayes, Mark Jindrak, and now Ryan Howe, all in the past 15 days. When John Cena returns to OVW at Futureshock, he is battling a freight train of momentum, but did Switchblade go too far with his actions with Nikki Bella? Hayes meanwhile will have to wait for another day to get his hands on Vaez as that medical clearance can't seem to come soon enough for him, and when it does, you can bet Cornette will waste no time giving him that match.
Next week, already announced earlier, big 1 on 1 with Rob Conway vs Melvin Maximus. A preview of the Futureshock Tag Team Title match with The Wild Boyz and Country Jacked on opposite sides of a 6 man tag team match. Plus the match, $10,000 at stake. Ram Jam against The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles, and the bag of money will be hung on a pole, first wrestler to get to it, wins it. And footage of Jamin Olivencia vs AJ Styles from Bowling Green, and comments from Global Force Wrestling owner Jeff Jarrett regarding the next NWA traditional PPV, Summerslam. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1
Solo Darling & Ray Lynn defeat Jessie Belle & Mandy Leon @ 5:39 when Darling pinned Belle after the Rapture Plex. The downward slide continues for Belle, who can't seem to pick up a win since dropping the Women's Title back in February. It is announced here that Solo will take on Crazy Mary Dobson in a rematch from their June 3 TV encounter on the upcoming edition of TV. Can Solo ride this momentum or will she play pawn in Dobson's pursuit of Heidi Lovelace?
Websclusive match #2
Raul Lamotta defeats Randy Terrez via DQ @ 5:12 when The Mexicutioner interferes. Lamotta was joined by Sky at ringside, interfering in the match. This would bring out the big man, looking to get revenge on Lamotta for last week, interrupting the match. Terrez tries to calm him, but Mexicutioner is worked up. It seems like these 2 sides could end up clashing sooner rather than later as Mexicutioner seems to have found an ally.
