Sugar Dunkerton who came to the ring with a brand new Chicago Bull's basketball after John Cena had punted away his old 70s vintage ball on the last SNL, defeated "The Tash" Marion Fontaine with a Grand Slam Dunk elbow from the top rope in 3:29 to get the crowd all warmed up.

1. Opening Saturday Night Live tonight was a Womens Division match as Charlotte defeated Cheerleader Melissa with the Figure-Four leglock to win by submission at 3:09. Largely a showcase match for Charlotte; She was interviewed by Rene Young at ringside after the match and said that she heard Paige say on last week's TV that she is biding her time, and doesn't want to cash in her rematch with the Womens Champion Kharma straight away. Charlotte said this means there's a vacancy that needs to be filled. Kharma doesn't have an opponent for Fight Night. She may be big, she may seem unstoppable, but she's signing up to face her for the title at Fight Night and she will shock the world and do what Paige could not do, and defeat the monster Kharma!

After the break we are welcomed back by Rob Van Dam, the Chief of Staff. Van Dam is in the ring with some of the Windy City road agents and veterans like Scotty Too Hotty, Roaddog Jesse James, Billy Gunn, Hardcore Holly, D-Lo Brown and more. RVD starts off by announcing that the date for the next Fight Night has been set, and will take place on Sunday the 2nd of August and will be headlined by Kevin Owens defending the Windy City Heavyweight Championship against Fin Balor!
RVD runs down the rest of the card with the help of some on screen graphics, which at this moment looks like the below;
==Fight Night - August 2nd==
Kevin Owens [c] v Fin Balor (Windy City Heavyweight Championship)
Uhaa Nation [c] v Ricochet (ZG Championship)
Sami Zayn v Luke Harper (Steel Cage Match)
* If Zayn wins, Serena must have no contact with The Family for 30 days. After those 30 days, if she wants too, she can go back to The Family, or she can leave. If Harper wins, he gets a Heavyweight Title shot at a time of his choosing!
Tyler Breeze [c] v Ryback (Cyber TV Championship)
The Briscoes [c] vs Curtis Axel & Kyle O'Reilly w/Paul Heyman (Windy City Tag Team Championships)
===
Rob says that Fight Night is shaping up to be another must see event on any wrestling fans calander, but he say's as pertains to tonight... The two main-eventers at Fight Night, Fin Balor and Kevin Owens have it seems some kind of friendly rivarly or one-up-manship going on at the moment - which climaxed with both men blaming the other for the loss in the last SNL main-event when Owens, Balor and Masters went down to John Cena's Chain Gang in the six man tag. Well, over the next two weeks both men will have a chance to showcase their skills and prove that they deserve to be the Windy City Heavyweight Champion.
This week, live on SNL, first up will be the challenger, The Demon, Fin Balor - he will take on the Cyber TV Champion Tyler Breeze in tonight's main-event in non-title action. Next week, it will be the turn of the champion, as Kevin Owens will take on the former Cyber TV Champion Adam Cole in the main-event of the next SNL in non-title action!
All the veterans look pleased with that announcement, with Roaddog Jessie James clapping the announcment and slapping RVD on the back giving out congrats. RVD has one more thing to say though. Van Dam smiles and say's he didn't bring all you legends out here just for back-up incase Kevin Owens or Fin Balor didn't take too kindly to the matchups..Oh no, he has other ideas on his mind. RVD says he was rolling a phat one the other day and he was struck by a thought. There are so many veterans out there who can still go, but just don't have it in them anymore to stick to the schedule that the young lads do and perform day after day, and week after week. Some of them don't have to, they have some money. Some don't. But most of them still do have a burning desire to compete!
That's why he has pitched his idea to the Powers That Be, and the idea was passed! Starting today, there will be an 8 man tournament taking place exclusive to Saturday Night Live. 8 of the best veterans in this sport will compete in a single elimination tournament, and the winner will be crowned the first and new, Windy City Masters Champion! RVD say's the Masters is big money in Golf, and he's sure it will be big money in Windy City as well - as legends of the sport will clash and compete, imagine the dream matches that never happened. Well they could happen here in Windy City. The brackets for the Masters Championship was announced as below, as the ring full of veterans looked at each other warily all of a sudden as they realise there's money and prestige still to be won for them;
Masters Championship Tournament;
Al Snow Verses Tajiri
Hardcore Holly Verses D-Lo Brown
Scotty Too Hotty Verses Pierre Carl Ouellett
Billy Gunn Verses Roaddog Jesse James
Rob informs that 2 matches will happen tonight, Al Snow against Tajiri and Billy Gunn verses Roaddog! On the next SNL, the last 2 QF's will take place with Hardcore Holly up against D-Lo Brown and Scotty Too Hotty against Pierre Carl Ouellett!

Next up, we see "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters in the ring looking mightily pissed-off. Body Magic, Ashton Vuitton and Eric St. Vaughn are stood behind him somewhat pensively after Masters seemingly snubbed them on the last SNL, but they are here together in the ring as Masters is set for action against the man who interfered and cost him the match against John Cena on the last Fight Night, the Beer City Bruiser.
We expect the music of the Cenation, but instead a podium rises at the entrance way and BAD NEWS BARRETT is here!
Bad News Barrett: Ladies and Gentleman, last you saw me I was racking up the wins over in NWA Maximum! That my friend was GOOD NEWS! But the challenge for me was just not there. There's no point in me coming out week after week and beating jobbers and jobbers to the stars on a weekly basis with the promotional machine just not behind me in NWA Maxium. I mean where was it going? Yes, I get a nice win bonus on a weekly basis which is always good, but I want to make waves! NWA Maxium was concentrating on that fool Jeff Hardy - an absolute waste of space, and trying to polish a turd with that charisma vacuum Randy Orton haha! That my friend's was BAD NEWS - Hell, even their Champion upped sticks and left. So I've done a Raheem Sterling and moved on to pastures new and to a place that is relatively stable and offers more wages! I am making my return and announcing the era of Bad News Barrett on this monumental night - unfortunately I haven't told NWA Maximum this yet, but I doubt they will notice haha! My NWA Maximum contract runs out on the 2nd of August and then after this I will be free to make my in-ring wrestling debut right here in Chicago!
But until then, CHRIS MASTERS... I'M AFRAID I GOT SOME BAD NEWS!
*Masters leans over the ring ropes towards the #BNB podium*
BNB: Chris Masters, I'm not sure if you got the memo, but you pretty much suck at the moment! Injury or not - You lost to Samoa Joe twice for the World Championship. You then lost to John Cena for the North American Championship! Now you seem to be feuding with people on the level of ABSOLUTE NOBODIES like haha the Beer City Bruiser?!
*Masters is getting more and more pissed off in the ring, while Body Magic try and keep him calm*
BNB: Truth be told Chris Masters, who was the last person of actual note that you beat?
*Masters manages to grab a mike from ringside and responds*
CM: Hey who asked you anyway Wade? Actually, Mr Johnny Come-Lately, I've been competing at a Championship Level in the NWA since Boxing Day of 2012 when I beat "Strongman" Jon Anderson for the Windy City Heavyweight Championship! I held that title for 676 days! Defending against all comers until I had to forfeit the strap when that piece of trash Samoa Joe injured my shoulder. Ever since then I've been competing in the upper-echelons of the NWA and I got my revenge on that fat slob Samoa Joe and defeated him right here in Chicago just before NWA Uncensored!
BNB: It must be groundhog day Chris Masters, because I'M AFRAID I HAVE MORE BAD NEWS! You didn't win the World Championship at Uncensored!
CM: That's true, but one day I will wear the Big Gold belt, you can trust me on that I'm just too talented not too. I'm one of the top Heavyweight workers in the world today. Not only can I go in the ring, but just look at those peaks baby!
*Masters poses flexing his impressive bicep*
CM: I didn't win the World Title because of John Cena, everybody knows that. He might think his little cronies in the Cenation saved his ass and his North American title at Fight Night but he's wrong because this isn't over. John Cena, once you've finished playing in the small pond over in Kentucky, I challenge you to show up and face me one last time in NWA Maxiumum, under Extreme Rules at the NWA Pay-Per-View Summerslam!
*This bring's out the Cenation, Beer City Bruiser, Raymond Rowe, Todd Hanson and of course, John Cena sporting a shit eating grin.*
JC: Yo, yo, yo, peeps of Chicago, the CHAMP IS HERE!
*Cena mock hold's afloat the NWA North American Championship to much boo's and jeers from the anti-Cena crowd that has been ever present for Cena here in Chicago*
JC: I tell you what Chris Masters, you don't have muscles on your chin, and I would square up at Summerslam and knock you the fuck out and send you down to the cesspit of the pre-lims forever. You don't have what it takes to be a real champion on the NWA stage like yours truly. And for that reason I say NO, I already beat you once and you don't deserve a rematch son!
*Much boo's from the crowd...BNB interjects*
BNB: Now, now boys. I said I can't compete until after August the 2nd. If I could, I would whoop the both of you pratts. Your a couple of tosspots for sure. But until then, I had a little word with RVD prior to signing a pre-contract here with Windy City and he has made me his assistant for the next two weeks to keep me busy and on the show. Or, rather than assistant, you could call be the Town Crier, because I will be delivering bad news and getting involved like only I can so enjoy that everyone in the back haha. As such, I have the authority to mess with the both of you. Chris Masters, you was supposed to face Beer City Bruiser one-on-one. Some BAD NEWS, that won't happen. Instead it will be a 2-on-1 handicap match Chris Masters against Beer City Bruiser AND Todd Hanson.
*Cena is loving this and is laughing and pointing at Masters*
BNB: Oi, don't you be getting all cocky Cena now lad, because if Chris Masters wins...then you must give him his title rematch at NWA Summerslam! And oh yeah, if you get involved or Rowe get's involved, your both fired! And this match is, NEXT!

2. Chris Masters w/Body Magic defeated Beer City Bruiser & Todd Hanson in a handicap match when he made BCB verbally give up to the Masterlock in 8:44; Masters was up against it here but somehow managed to get the duke after isolating the weaker of the two in BCB; Post-match Body Magic celebrated with Chris Masters but Chris flipped and clotheslines Eric St Vaughn over the top rope with Vaughn smacking his head on the guard-rail. Masters then latched the Masterlock on Ashton Vuitton and would not let go as he swung him around like a rag doll. Eventually security enters the ring and Masters drops a lifeless Vuitton to the ground and takes the mike shouting towards a watching John Cena on the ramp.
CM: You see that champ? You see that?! These guys didn't help me, they was a hindrance. Your looking at your future John!! What happened to them will happen to you and they didn't even do anything... I don't need no help no more but you certainly will at Summerslam John, I'm coming for that belt!
Just as we are about to head off to break, SUGAR DUNKERTON runs into the scene on the ramp and tosses his new Chicago Bulls basketball right into the face of John Cena to much applause from the fans. Dunkerton laughs at Cena and then quickly leg's it as Cena sends the Cenation after him, a chase is on!*

3. In a Windy City Masters Championship QF match, Al Snow and Tajiri battled like it was still 2002 and neither looked to have missed much of a beat. In the end it came down to Head vs Mist, as Snow went for a Head Shot but Tajiri sprayed the mist into the face of Snow and with his opponent down on his knee's trying to clear his eyes, nailed a Buzzsaw Kick and scored the three count to progress in 6:20.
Next up, out comes a smirking Paul Heyman. Heyman is flanked by NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Adrian Neville, and followed by Kyle O'Reilly and Curtis Axel. Heyman put's over his new stable, a new dangerous alliance? A triple threat? Maybe, we will see more additions? maybe, maybe not. Heyman say's he's not labeling this new project right now, but this is what you might call a Paradigm Shift! Heyman says that it has been quite for a while around here in terms of a dominant force being around, but it is time for a new voice, a new way of thinking!
Heyman modestly says that he has already turned Neville into a star on the world stage and now it is the time to finally show the world the talents that Curtis Axel and Kyle O'Reilly have been so overlooked on in the past. He goes on to say that Axel has been forced to go down the route of playing off his famous father for two minute stints by promoters all around the NWA while Kyle just hasn't been given the ball to run with that some of his contemporaries have because apparently some smarks say that he can't cut a promo! Paul tells us that Axel and O'Reilly will challenge and will beat The Briscoe Brothers, for the Tag Team Championships, at Fight Night!
Heyman scoff's a little and says that the NWA Board of Directors have ordered Adrian Neville to defend his title at Summerslam against Jay Lethal. Heyman says's sure Lethal is pretty great, but he's not Adrian Neville great. Lethal is not a superstar, Neville is! Where is Jay Lethal calling home these days anyway, EPIC? Memphis? Texas? Heyman says he's not even sure to tell you the truth! But yes, Heyman says Lethal can have his match against Neville at Summerslam but let it be known that the level of disrespect that the NWA BOD showed both himself and Adrian Neville here, has been noted. Could they not wait until Saturday Night Live airs and Neville of course accepts Lethal's challenge?, Paul added. No, they have to show him total and utter disrespect and ORDER him to defend against Lethal...Heyman reminds us all again... Adrian Neville is the the man that defeated the supposedly greatest champion of the new NWA era, Daniel Bryan, for the World Junior title. He prised Bryan's grubby little mitts off this belt and won it fair and square in the middle of the ring and the BOD think Neville is scared of a Jay Lethal? "Shessh, ppplease!", says Heyman.
Heyman then asks no one in particular, where the "Two little local flunkies are?".
*Will Ferrera and Andrew Everett make their way out to the ring but keep their distance with the numbers against them*
PH: Oh there you are! These guys had the gaul and audacity last week to launch themselves over the top rope onto me? Onto me, a non-performer AND the Champ, Adrian Neville?! These bums, these kickpad indy shitearses want to make a name for themselves I see... well as people in Chicago know I used to run a little racket around these parts called the Heyman-Exchange. It usually involved me getting involved in other peoples business and influencing matches in exchange more times than not cold hard cash. Well let you tell you now, I could have used O'Reilly and Axel for this job but I didn't want to waste their energy.
Let's just say that a favor was called in...and I definitely got more bang for my buck than I expected! Nobody does that to Paul Heyman and I want to show them up for what they truly are... two flippy floppy nobodies - and have someone who are actually good at the high flying style to show them how it's really done! Let me introduce to you, haha, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, and your opponents tonight whatever your names are again... THE YOUNG BUCKS!!!
*Axel and O'Reilly seem a bit fucking annoyed that Heyman did not choose them for this assignment, but they are spoken to off mic by Heyman as out to a huge pop for a big surprise come The Young Bucks! Not seen since they entered the territory prior to Uncensored when they defended the titles against The Usos.*
4. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) beat Will "The Hype" Ferrara & "The Apex of Agility" Andrew Everett in a cracker of a match with the More Bang For Your Buck in 8:49 in non-title action; The Young Bucks win in their re-debut in Chicago but not without a fight against the two young upstarts who both really grew even in defeat here to the tag team champions. The Bucks thought they had the match won on several occassions but the underdogs would just not lie down and in the end The Bucks had to pull out all the stops to get the win here; Post-match The Bucks got on the mic and thanked Heyman for the opportunity, and then let it be known that they accept the challenge of The Pistols for a tag team title match at Summerslam. The Bucks say they don't think they deserve a title match, but hey they've beaten everyone else so why not! They let it be known that they thought The Pistols where piss-poor tag team champions who's reign was like cleanex at a snot party! WEAK!! They say it doesn't matter they now have a 3rd member in Brian Cage, the result will be the same whichever of the two turn up to start the match at Summerslam! The Pistols can suck-it because The Young Bucks are too sweet!

*Backstage we are taken to a sit-down interview between Adam Cole and Rene Young. Young wants to interview Cole to find out what has been up with Cole lately and his new angry persona since dropping the Cyber TV title in controversial circumstances. And where his head is at with a big non-title match against the champion Kevin Owens in next week's main-event.
Cole say's not being the Cyber TV Champion no more is no big deal. Been there, done that. Cole say's that championship is below him and a man of his talents. Cole goes on to say that he has been held back his whole career. First there was the big hoo-hah from Rother over in EPIC when I was paired up with Corino as my sidekick and pushed in the direction of the NWA North American Heavyweight Title. That ended up getting quietly dropped for god knows what reasons and I was yesterdays news quick. Then I joined NWA Mid-Atlantic and from the beginning things sounded like there was going to be big plans for Adam Cole. I was brought in to be the man. Big promises was made. But at the end of it all I was rarely even booked. When Chicago kept calling Mid-Atlantic offices asking about Adam Cole they kept telling them they had big plans for Adam Cole and wouldn't let me go. But nothing materialized. Nothing happened. Then finally, they accepted a trade for Solomon Crowe of all fucking people at the drop of a hat. Those big plans changed huh?!
Yes I'm angry, I've not been given a fair shake, but you see that's my problem. I was being humble and expecting other people to keep their promises, well no more! Adam Cole is taking what he wants now, when he wants, and he doesn't care who he has to hurt in the process in order to do so. Kevin Owens your a marked man. Your blocking my rise to the top, but I will take my spot at the top of Windy City by force next week!*
5. In the 2nd, Windy City Masters Championship QF match of the night, "The One" Billy Gunn beat his former tag team partner in the New Age Outlaws, Roaddog Jesse James in a cool fan friendly face verses face matchup between longtime friends as Gunn followed up a "One and Only" (Cobra clutch slam) with the Fame-Ass-er to pick up the victory at the 5:05 mark. Roaddog seemed pissed off after that he had lost, but Gunn offered his hand and they shook. The NAO still ride.
6. Main-Event time, "The Demon" Fin Balor downed Cyber TV Champion Tyler Breeze in 7:54 with the Coup de GrĂ¢ce (Diving double foot stomp); RYBACK made an appearance in this match and distracted Breeze just enough for Balor to get and keep the upper-hand. RYBACK nailed Breeze with a Shellshock after the match to cement home that he's coming for the Cyber TV Championship at Fight Night.
As Balor celebrates his win, we see Kevin Owens with the championship belt over his shoulder stood on the ramp, mock clapping Balor and his win.
*Show closes with a shot of Sugar Dunkerton hiding behind a pallet backstage, as Raymond Rowe and Todd Hanson go flying past looking for him. Both men go sprinting round a corner but scream out. The camera turns and we see them both covered in oil from head to toe with empty oil buckets on the floor. Looks like someone set a childlike trap on the Cenation members! Sugar sniggers from his hiding place as we go off the air.
Post-show Bonus Dark match;
Match not aired on TV or via the web, may or may not follow current story-lines.
Taped for DVD compilations.
The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) defeated The Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet & Rich Swann) when Swann was pinned following a splash from the top rope in 12:20.

Post-show Bonus Dark match;
