The commentators welcome viewers to the show. Fresh off Futureshock, the fallout begins here tonight as we start on the road to October and not 1, but 2 big events. Up next in sights is the August 1 Saturday Night Special, only 2.5 weeks from now, and NWA's Summerslam in just 1.5 weeks. Tonight though ...
- Elijah Burke & Colt Cabana vs Chris Silvio & Cliff Compton
- Rebel vs Taeler Hendrix
- Chase Owens vs The Body Guy
- Robbie Walker vs Aaron Sky
Also we will hear from the winner of the Nightmare Rumble, Ironman Rob Conway, plus a third generation wrestler has arrived and will be here, as well as a returning wrestler from the Nightmare Rumble. Right now though ...
The Blacklist holds court
What is this? The commentators make mention that Futureshock saw the failure of Rudy Switchblade to win the NWA North American Title from John Cena, thanks in large part to failed interference by Ali Vaez. Speculation is that as a new Blacklist member, Vaez is on thin ice and this may or may not seal his fate. There is a light "Rudy, Rudy" chant. He takes the mic and readies to speak when Vaez snatches the mic away to booing.
Ali Vaez: I know! I know what you're going to say! And look, it's a problem here. I agree as much as the next that you should be standing out here as the new NWA North American champion. John Cena stole that win. He used a chair, he tried to cheat. It's a good thing I was there, we were there actually. The 3 of us, just to be clear. And we were able to counteract that. And just to save you the trouble, I accept your apology.
Switchblade is confused by that.
Ali Vaez: Yeah. Your apology Rudy. Isn't that why we're here? You ran into me on the apron, knocked me off into Shiloh & Eric. You screwed up. It's ok.
Switchblade grabs the mic back.
Rudy Switchblade: I screwed up? Me? Let me get this straight. You come out and interfere when I didn't ask for your help. I tell you to leave, you stay and you interfere anyway. You are the reason why I'm not the champion today. And you accept ... my ... apology? Let's get 1 thing perfectly clear out here. I only had 1 chance to become the NWA North American champion. 1 opportunity. And it's because of you that I'm not. I didn't want you out there, I didn't want you (Jonze), nor did I want you (Locker). See, I think you're confusing the methods. This was about me not getting an opportunity. So I had to get that opportunity any way I could. You understand? I didn't get it in 2000 in So Cal. I didn't get it when I worked my ass off to graduate from the New Japan Dojo. I damn sure didn't get it from Danny Davis for years here in OVW. And then I get it, this was my chance to prove to everybody what I could do. I could do all that crap to get there because I had to. But when that bell rang, my skills would speak for themselves. I was good enough to beat John Cena. I would have beat John Cena. But thanks to you, I didn't.
The "Rudy, Rudy" chants start again as he stops and looks out to the crowd. Jonze tells him not to listen to them as if it's a derogatory chant or something.
Rudy Switchblade: The Blacklist was not my vision. It belonged to somebody else. I joined because I saw the chance to get where I needed to go that I was not getting on my own. But The Blacklist is not what I needed when I got there. You had specific instructions, all of you! And you ignored them. And now I go back to the drawing board. I don't get a rematch. I worked 15 years for this chance and I'll be damned if I'm going to spend 15 more trying to get it again! The Blacklist, plain and simply, is over. Shiloh, Eric, you guys are good enough to make it on your own. I don't need you, you don't need me. Ali ... haha, Ali. You ... you'd better just stay out of my way from here on out. The Blacklist is over.
Switchblade drops the mic as Jonze tries to get him to reconsider. Switchblade ignores it. Locker tries to talk sense into him. Vaez grabs the mic though and starts to speak, stopping Switchblade in his tracks.
Ali Vaez: No! No, no, no, no! The Blacklist is not done! Not like this! You think we're supposed to suffer for your mistakes? You lost the match Rudy! You did! The only reason you even had that title shot was because of me! Don't forget it! And the only reason you aren't champion is because you screwed up! You let me down, and more importantly you let us down! I want my apology! And I want it ... NOW!
Switchblade walks over and is eye to eye with Vaez. Vaez is insistent on it. Switchblade just shakes his head no to a big pop, further agitating Vaez. Switchblade turns to leave as Vaez forces him back around and slaps him in the face!
Ali Vaez: Apologize ... NOW!
This could be a giant mistake as even Jonze & Locker don't know what to make of this ballsy move by Vaez. Switchblade bites his tongue and again just shakes his head no. He reiterates off mic that The Blacklist is finished. He heads over to leave, but this time Vaez kicks him from behind in the back of the knee. He immediately starts stomping as Jonze & Locker seem confused about this. Vaez points out that Switchblade just tried to end their careers! He tried to sink their ships by killing off the group!
Switchblade hits a right though. He gets up and hits another! Vaez is reeling, but Jonze hits a chopblock to the back of Switchblade's knee! He joins in as the 2 kick away. Locker doesn't know what to do! Ali holds Switchblade as Jonze charges with a right to knock him down. Ali exits and grabs a chair as Jonze keeps kicking. Jonze holds Switchblade as Vaez readies with the chair, but Locker grabs it! Locker takes the chair to a pop! He has the chair in his hand as Vaez backs off. Jonze lets go of Switchblade and backs off. And just like that, Locker winds up and decks Switchblade head on.
Vaez laughs as he starts dishing out instructions. Put the chair on his ankle. Jonze and Locker secure it in place as Vaez mounts to the middle rope. He jumps off, stomping the chair down, potentially destroying Switchblade's ankle for good. Nobody in the back dare help Switchblade after all that he has done in the last 7 months to them. Vaez backs off Jonze & Locker and just as it looked like The Blacklist was no more, it remains intact, just clearly minus 1 member and with a new leader in place. Dean calls Vaez a coward, and a piece of ... Gilbert cuts him off. Switchblade is in serious pain out here, but will anybody help him?
Vaez leans over him and tells Switchblade that they had it all. He could be the champion right now! But he's too selfish! The Blacklist is bigger than any 1 of them and just like The French Stallion before him, Switchblade is now 'blacklisted'. Surprising turn of events in the opening segment here as not only is Switchblade out of the group, but after this attack, he is sure to be sidelined for a long time. Maybe forever.

Update on Rudy Switchblade / Adam Revolver out
Terry Boddie is at ringside with an update. Footage shows Switchblade pushing away a stretcher and trying to walk away under his own power, but being unable to. Suddenly Adam Revolver is out, interrupting this replay. Revolver says boo hoo, but he returned last Saturday at Futureshock, made it to the final 4 in the Nightmare Rumble, and now he's back in Ohio Valley! Sure enough though, he looks at the card and nothing. No match. Unlike before when he had Ted McNaler holding him back, he is out on his own this go around. He wants, no, demands competition. And hopefully he gets it, starting next week.
Match #1
Robbie Walker vs Aaron Sky
Robbie Walker defeats Aaron Sky @ 5:38 via pinfall after a superkick. The former Skywalkers are in action against each other in a rematch from the June Saturday Night Special. Before the match, Sky took the mic and announced that he was sick of playing runner up to Walker. He would beat him here and if he didn't, he would leave Ohio Valley! Strong words, and unfortunately for him, Walker was the better man on this night, picking up a second victory over Sky and putting an exclamation mark on their rivalry. Fans chanted "nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye" afterward.

Match #2
Rebel vs Taeler Hendrix
Taeler Hendrix defeats Rebel @ 5:19 via pinfall after a roundhouse kick. The former Women's champion is accompanied as always by Seleziya Sparx. Rebel has been instrumental, fighting at the side of new champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe, but comes up short here. The action spilled out to the floor when Hendrix rolled in and distracted the referee to give Seleziya the chance to shove Rebel into the ringpost and roll her back in for Hendrix to finish her off. The commentators make mention that Hendrix still has a guaranteed rematch at Monroe and the title.

Ringside interview w/ Tessa Blanchard
Terry Boddie is joined by third generation wrestler Tessa Blanchard. Daughter of Horseman Tully Blanchard, granddaughter of Joe Blanchard, she has arrived in Ohio Valley because this is where the best women's wrestling is today. She wants to be the best and the only way to get there is by taking on the best. Out comes former OVW Women's champion Jessie Belle. She says that nobody cares about her or her lineage. She's the daughter of a real legend, Tracy Smothers! And unlike Tessa, she's been to the top, so she needs to show her some respect. Tessa extends her hand as Belle seems to reciprocate before pulling back and laughing. Early on here, it seems Blanchard has rubbed Belle the wrong way.
Match #3
Jon Ramser vs Jake Glasure
Jake Glasure defeats Jon Ramser @ 4:39 via pinfall after a powerslam. The large man that interfered at Futureshock is officially welcomed into The Congregation here by Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles, joining Altar Boy Jade Dawson with the nickname 'The Apostle'. He makes quick work of Ram Jam, much to the delight of Miles. Rump Thump is in to check on Ram Jam as Miles may have finally added some much needed muscle to The Congregation.

Guest commentary w/ Jeremiah Plunkett
Before the next match, the 1 time leader of The East is out. Asked about being eliminated from The Nightmare Rumble by Chase Owens, Plunkett says they'll see who gets gthe last laugh because he's went and got a 1 on 1 signed for August 1 at the next Saturday Night Special so he can finally show everybody who was not only the brains, but the brawn of The East.
Match #4
Chase Owens vs The Body Guy
Chase Owens defeats The Body Guy @ 5:51 via pinfall after The Roaring Elbow. Despite the presence of Big Jon in The Body Guy's corner at ringside, Owens delivers another strong performance here. The innovative offense is on display as it was 2 weeks ago vs Rudy Switchblade and commentators mention the ascent up the ladder towards a World Junior Heavyweight Title match. Plunkett laughs at that and puts down Owens as deserving nothing, but is quickly silenced when The Crown Jewel picks up the victory.
After the match, Big Jon is immediately in and jumping Owens. A 2 on 1 ensues before Plunkett gets up and goes in. He tells them that he has this. As Owens gets up, Plunkett delivers the Gourdbuster to leave Owens laying. Dean mentions he seems to have Owens number when it's somebody else doing the work first, but at the SNS, he'll have to do everything himself for once.

Ringside interview w/ Rob Conway
The winner of The Nightmare Rumble joins Terry Boddie. Conway says that it wasn't easy, but he did it. He has so far done everything he set out to do, and he has just 1 more obstacle left in his way, and then he wants an opportunity at whoever wins between AJ Styles and Personal Demons. He wants a shot at becoming NWA World champion. First up though, a 3 way at the Saturday Night Special against the other finalists in The Nightmare Rumble, Marcus Anthony and Melvin Maximus. If he can win that, no, when he wins that, nobody can deny that he is deserving.
Match #5
Elijah Burke & Colt Cabana vs Chris Silvio & Cliff Compton
Chris Silvio & Cliff Compton defeat Elijah Burke & Colt Cabana @ 8:43 when Compton pinned Cabana after a low blow and school boy. The main event began with Silvio out as he was at Futureshock, blonde hair and Superstar Billy Graham style tie dye with valet Mary Jane. An altercation outside the ring however sees Silvio reverse Burke into the valet, and take her out. Silvio was pissed off, even leaving ringside as she was escorted to the back. Compton was left in a 2 on 1, and was then even forced to battle it out with Cabana. The 2 were hesitant, but eventually started battling out.
Just then from the back comes Silvio again, but the altered Silvio. The split personality of Silvio. Black hair, ghostly white face paint, and blood. He pulls Burke from the apron and attacks him, viciously choking him outside the ring. Cabana tries to alert the ref, who looks over, but just leaves himself open to the low blow from Compton and the roll up. It seems that Compton cares far more about the win than anything else. Silvio then grabs the Heavyweight Title belt and waits for Burke to stand, laying him out with it, drawing blood in the process. Clearly, this feud is not over and only just beginning. Burke beat Silvio at Futureshock, but not this Silvio.
Next week on TV, an extremely rare appearance by CM Punk just days before the rematch with Jamin Olivencia at Summerslam. Perhaps he will also address the comments and challenge that Christopher Daniels made at Futureshock. Punk and Olivencia under the same roof! And hopefully an update on Rudy Switchblade after what we saw earlier today at the hands of The Blacklist. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1
TerreMex defeat The No Class Connection @ 5:36 when Terrez pinned Deonta Davis after a corkscrew moonsault. Terrez & The Mexicutioner are officially adorned with the label of TerreMex as they look to began a climb up the tag team rankings here in Ohio Valley, starting with the lowly NCC. Impressive performance and a team to take seriously if you're The Wild Boyz watching on.
Websclusive match #2
Dylan Bostic defeats Raul Lamotta @ 5:19 via pinfall after a backstabber. Bostic is joined by Ray Lynn at ringside as Team Platinum stands tall, thanks to the double knee backbreaker. With Flash Flanagan defeated and gone, it looks like the fimrly fan favorite Bostic can now put his focus back into climbing the ranks and maybe regaining the TV Title that he held a year ago.
