Heavyweight champion: Elijah Burke
Tag Team champions: The Wild Boyz
TV champion: Chris Silvio
Women's champion: Mary Elizabeth Monroe
Commentators: Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey
Ring Announcer: Scarlett Bordeaux
Interviewer: Terry Boddie
The commentators welcome viewers to the show. For those that missed last week, a change in the guard with Ali Vaez as the new leader of The Blacklist as the group attacked and turned their back on Rudy Switchblade. Hard to have compassion on Switchblade with his agenda, and from what they understand he will be out for a long time. And speaking of Vaez, today ...
- Rockstar Ryan Howe vs Ali Vaez
- The Wild Boyz vs Country Jacked in a rematch from Futureshock
- Dylan Bostic vs Raul Lamotta in rematch from the websclusive
- Women's champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe is in action
Also rumors running wild on the condition of Mike Hayes after going 60+ minutes in The Nightmare Rumble, and he will be here later to address them head on. The Pope Elijah Burke is here to address Chris Silvio. And here today, under the same roof - Jamin Olivencia and CM Punk. What will happen? Looks like there will be no waiting as 'Cult of Personality' hits ...
CM Punk returns
And out comes the Straight Edge Superstar to a mixed reaction. Last seen in the Davis Arena at the May 2 Saturday Night Special, Punk has been in deep training for his upcoming MMA debut with the UFC. But tonight he is here with a rematch with Jamin Olivencia only days away at NWA's Summerslam PPV, and also possibly addressing the words from Christopher Daniels at Futureshock. Punk has Scarlett walk over and hand him the mic.
CM Punk: A warm reception as always. I'd like to say that it's good to be back here in Louisville, but why bother? I know it's a lie. You all know it's a lie because I mean, really? Who in their right mind actually wants to be here? That's why I'm thankful that my match with Jamin Olivencia is not here, but rather, there. There being NWA Summerslam, live from New Jersey on PPV. So you can all watch when I beat your hero again, humiliate him ... again, just like I did back in April at Best In The World. I needed no help. I needed no whacky interference. I beat him. And hell, I'd have done it again for free! But when Jeff Jarrett calls you, offering me the money that he did to me, you're not turning it down. It's more money than anybody here makes in a year, and from the looks of you people, probably more than all of you make in a year combined. Certainly more than all of you combined spend on clothing or personal hygiene in a year. That would then bring me to the words of Christopher Daniels.
Punk sits down and crosses his legs, summoning the camera closer.
CM Punk: I offered you the chance to fight me at Best In The World, you said no. You're retired. Suddenly I give you the GTS, you're all too willing because heaven forbid that The Fallen Angel not go out in a moment of glory with the proverbial last word. So you want a 'fight' with me? You wanna go 1 on 1? You want to bring in Daniel Puder, Chicago legend, to teach you the ways like that's supposed to scare me? My answer Christopher Daniels ... is no.
And just like that, Punk stands back up.
CM Punk: Nothing more, no. Simple as that. Now then. Since I'm here though and since I'm deep into training for my real priority, the UFC, I've got a confession. My wrestling, not so hot. I'll take Jamin Olivencia down into a rear naked choke, tap him out to the kimura, but I wanna make sure I can still get out of a headlock. So I'm giving you all a treat tonight because I want a match. I want a match tonight, and frankly I don't care who against. Nobody back there can give me a challenge, so let's just get it over with. Somebody, anybody, come out here and take your turn in the spotlight against CM Punk.
'Ironman' by Black Sabbath hits as the Davis Arena starts getting off their seats. Is this ... ? It is! Rob Conway, winner of The Nightmare Rumble heads out and enters the ring. Scarlett hands him a second mic so that Conway can say his piece here.
Rob Conway: CM Punk. I've been waiting for this chance for a long, long time now. See, I don't know if you've heard, but I'm looking for my shot at becoming the NWA World champion. And you? You've been there. Not once, but 3 times! If you're throwing it down, I'm accepting. The 2015 Nightmare Rumble winner, Ironman Rob Conway vs CM Punk, tonight!
Before Punk can say anything, from the back comes Melvin Maximus and manager Josh Ashcraft. Punk just looks on as Ashcraft directs Maximus to get in the ring and finish what he started on Conway's ribs 3 weeks ago. Maximus gets in as Conway immediately meets him and gives a right. Before this can continue long though, Punk sneaks in and hits Conway from behind. Maximus turns Conway and holds him as Punk charges in with a right hand. The crowd cheers though as from the back races out Marcus Anthony! Punk gets out of the ring as Maximus backs off as well and leaves. Director of Authority Jim Cornette is out at ringside.
Jim Cornette: Gentlemen, please! This is the type of thing I love to see, but I prefer it be official. At the Saturday Night Special, it's Melvin Maximus, it's Marcus Anthony, and Rob Conway in a 3 way dance! Tonight though, I say we have ourselves a tag team match. Rob Conway and Marcus Anthony against Melvin Maximus ... and CM Punk!
And with that, Punk is official for today. His first match on Ohio Valley TV in almost a decade. Huge news with a giant main event now set for later on.

Ringside interview w/ Chase Owens
Terry Boddie is at ringside. Last week we found out it would be Owens vs Jeremiah Plunkett at the Saturday Night Special. Owens says he's a man of few words. He never liked Plunkett and he intends to make it short and sweet. He could take his time, but he just wants him done and out of his life. He intends on becoming the next NWA World Junior Heavyweight champion, and once Plunkett is out of his way, there will be no stopping him.
Match #1
Dylan Bostic vs Raul Lamotta
Dylan Bostic defeats Raul Lamotta @ 5:12 via DQ thanks to the interference of Adam Revolver. Rematch from last week's websclusive where Bostic won clean. Here today, he was again accompanied by Ray Lynn. During the match though, Adam Revolver emerged from the back for a closer look as commentators note that he eliminated Bostic from The Nightmare Rumble. Lynn tells him to leave, leading to Revolver grabbing her. Bostic hits a baseball slide dropkick to the outside to take out Revolver. He goes back in to continue the match after making sure Ray Lynn was alright, but it wasn't long before Revolver jumped him. He would leave Bostic laying after the Russian leg sweep.

Match #2
The Wild Boyz vs Country Jacked
Tag Team champions The Wild Boyz defeat Country Jacked in a non title match @ 6:28 when Eddie Diamond made Corey Hollis tap out to the Crossfire Crossface. This rematch from Futureshock sees Country Jacked out alone, no Josh Ashcraft in their corner with perhaps a falling out. It makes no difference though as The Wild Boyz are still able to once again come out the better team. They would seem to have Country Jacked's number and with 2 back to back losses to the champs, they may be left on the outside looking in of the title picture now.
From the back during the match, The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles was out with Altar Boy Jade Dawson and Apostle Jake Glasure. He went to commentary and said that The Congregation deserve an opportunity at The Wild Boyz. It doesn't matter which 2 of the 3, any combination of the greener pastures will always overcome the care free, party lifestyle of the champions.

Ringside interview w/ Mike Hayes
Terry Boddie is joined by the Iraq war veteran. Hayes is out on crutches as Boddie congratulates him on going 60+ minutes in the Nightmare Rumble. Hayes thanks him, but says that unfortunately, the match was a lot of wear and tear on him. Scar tissue opened up and will take some time to heal, so he is out of action indefinitely. But he will be back, and when he does, he will waste no time in making sure that Ali Vaez & The Blacklist get what they deserve. Music hits for the next match as Vaez walks out. He looks at Hayes and laughs before walking past.
Match #3
Ryan Howe vs Ali Vaez
Ali Vaez defeats Ryan Howe @ 6:52 via pinfall after a neckbreaker. Howe tries to get some revenge on Vaez for all his recent actions. He tries to drop him into the Whammy Bar, a Fujiwara armbar submission. Vaez however rakes the eyes and as Howe was momentarily dazed, struck with the neckbreaker for the finish. After making sure Mike Hayes did not win the Nightmare Rumble and with his injury, and after taking out Rudy Switchblade last week, both out for lengthy periods if ever to return, it would seem like there is nobody in Ohio Valley that will be able to stop Ali Vaez and The Blacklist. Could they finally achieve their goal of company domination?

Guest commentary w/ Taeler Hednrix
Before the next match, the former Women's champion is out. It is announced that she will get her guaranteed rematch at the title at the upcoming August 1 Saturday Night Special. Last time the referee barred Seleziya Sparx from ringside, which he had no business doing. Next time, she intends to win back the title and finally get the respect she deserves.
Match #4
Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Deonna Purrazzo
Women's champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Deonna Purrazzo in a non title match @ 4:46 via tap out to the Rainbow Cross submission. The newcomer Purrazzo has a tall order here, and gets some offense in, but ultimately taps out to Monroe's modified STF hold. After the match, Monroe gets handed her championship belt and holds it up, while Taeler at commentary can only comment on how hideous the belt looks on her. It belongs around only 1 waist, hers.

Ringside interview w/ Elijah Burke
Terry Boddie is joined by the Heavyweight champion. Burke says that last week was the final straw for him. He beat Silvio at Futureshock, but he wants this crazy alternate Silvio next time. After he drew blood on him last week, Burke demanded a First Blood match for August 1 at the Saturday Night Special, and the title will be on the line. He just hopes that this time, the old Chris Silvio stays home, and the new Chris Silvio shows up so that he can make him bleed the same way he made The Pope bleed last week.
Match #5
Rob Conway & Marcus Anthony vs CM Punk & Melvin Maximus
Rob Conway & Marcys Anthony fought to a no contest with CM Punk & Melvin Maximus @ 7:53. Some brief teases of what could be with Punk going at it with Conway. The tag out to Anthony has Punk a bit more cautious and unsuccessful. The finish of the match sees Anthony and Maximus battling it out on the floor when Conway takes a rare step, charging and diving out through the ropes onto both of them. The 3 brawl as a preview to their upcoming 3 way dance at the Saturday Night Special with Punk left to only watch on. He tells the referee to ring the bell, he's finished.
Before he can leave though, Jamin Olivencia's music hits as he heads out! The fans pop as he slides in and stands toe to toe with Punk. Forget the SNS, we might get a preview right now of Summerslam, just days away on PPV. Punk goes for a right, but Olivencia blocks it. The 2 trade punches before Olivencia hits the ropes and comes back to a knee. Punk lifts Olivencia up for the GTS, but Olivencia drops behind him. Punk turns as Olivencia leaps into the Standing O, but Punk blocks and shoves him off before he can get the front facelock and bodyscissors locked in. The match has long been thrown out and officials are in to keep them separated. As all this goes on, Jeff Jarrett is shown watching on from the catwalk area above the entrance.
A reminder, NWA Summerslam on PPV, Jamin Olivencia vs CM Punk in the rematch from Best In The World. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1
Jessie Belle defeats Solo Darling @ 5:36 via pinfall after the Southern Justice. After interrupting Tessa Blanchard's debut last week on TV, Belle shows she can back up the talk still in the ring. After several losses, she may yet have something left in the tank. After the win with her Gory Bomb finisher, she taunts Blanchard and tells the camera that this is Ohio Valley, and her ring.
Websclusive match #2
Robbie Walker defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 5:04 via pinfall after a superkick. Some revenge for Walker from Pridemoore turning on him a couple weeks ago after a tag team win. Walker continues to get wins here as the commentators put him over as somebody to watch in the weeks and months to come. Already a former Tag Team champion here, Walker is still so early on his career that he should only improve.
