TerreMex | Rump Thump | |
VS | ||
The Body Guy | Raul Lamotta | Elvis Pridemoore |
TerreMex & Rump Thump defeat The Body Guy, Raul Lamotta & Elvis Pridemoore @ 6:14 when Terrez pinned Pridemoore after a corkscrew moonsault. The highlight of this match may not have been the action itself, but rather a showdown between The Mexicutioner and Big Jon on the floor. The Body Guy took shelter between his bodyguard for a lack of better term, leading to the big men nearly getting physical. After the always impressive finisher of Terrez, the commentators speculated on a possible match between TerreMex against The Body Guy & Big Jon, assuming Jon is even trained to be a wrestler as that is not yet known.

Tessa Blanchard | Mandy Leon |
Tessa Blanchard defeats Mandy Leon @ 6:08 via pinfall after a slingshot back suplex. The third generation women's talent makes her Ohio Valley in ring debut against The Egyptian Goddess, and showed flashes of her famous father according to Dean on commentary. Leon continues to improve and seems about ready to take that next step. The talk turns to the confrontation with former Women's champion Jessie Belle, and that while this win was something, Blanchard might have to contend with her sooner before later.
VS | ||
Robbie Walker | Cliff Compton |
Cliff Compton defeats Robbie Walker @ 7:35 via pinfall after the Cliffhanger. Walker was looking to avenge the name of Colt Cabana, sent on his way by Compton and his claim that Cabana was only brought in to help him and now that he doesn't need the help, he's gone. Walker put up a strong performance, but missed the superkick that would have put Compton away. Instead Compton dodged it, pushed Walker into the ref to briefly put him off balance, and delivered a low blow with his forearm. From there Compton put Walker away with his springboard tornado DDT. After the match, Compton signaled around his waist that he wants some more gold, this time on his own.
VS | ||
Dylan Bostic | Adam Revolver |
Dylan Bostic defeats Adam Revolver @ 7:21 after a backstabber. Bostic was joined at ringside by his Team Platinum associate Ray Lynn. This was Revolver's first big match since returning at Futureshock, where he eliminated Bostic from the Nightmare Rumble. That meant some revenge here for Bostic as despite a strong showing from Revolver, in the end it was Bostic that took the W. Revolver had the sleeper on, but Bostic fought free with the help of the fans. He made a comeback, and while Revolver would manage to go for the Russian legsweep, he was unable to complete the move. Bostic blocked and got behind, jumping up to catch his knees to the upper back and bring Revolver down before a 3 count.
Tag Team championship match

The Wild Boyz | The Congregation |
The Congregation defeat Tag Team champions The Wild Boyz to win the title @ 6:50 when Jade Dawson pinned Bud Dwight after a a legdrop bulldog. The Congregation steal the title as The Apostle Jake Glasure & Altar Boy Jade Dawson team, leaving Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles to call the shots from the outside. As has been customary in Congregation matches, interference proved key here. All 4 were in the ring with EFD Eddie Diamond getting Dawson into the Crossfire Crossface. Unfortunately Diamond was not legal, and Glasure would come in to start a brawl Diamond ducked a charging Glasure to back body drop him over the top rope, but the referee's attention was on getting him out of the ring. As Dwight readied to dropkick Dawson, Miles jumped on the apron and hit him in the back of the head with 'the good book', allowing Dawson to capitalize with his version of the Fameasser. Miles has both belts, shouting hallelujah! He may have done little here, may not even have won the match himself, but the church of Miles finally has championship gold.
Interview
Terry Boddie | Daniels | Daniel Puder |
The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is out in the ring and introduces Christopher Daniels & his trainer Daniel Puder. Or at least, trainer in theory. Daniels laid out the challenge at Futureshock to CM Punk for a fight any time, any place, but Punk responded on TV with a resounding 'no' to the offer. What now? Where does this issue stand?
Daniels: "I will not give up. CM Punk turning me down is nothing new, in fact, I almost expected it. He's a master manipulator and trying to first twist the situation to suit his own agenda. I know exactly how it works. But I'm still training with Daniel here, and I'm still learning the ways of the Windy City. I still want not a wrestling match, but a fight. And this man (Puder) knows how to fight 'Chicago style'. He knows MMA. I get it all, and we are deep into training because I know where this ends, it's just a matter of Punk getting what he wants. So Punk, I don't know. What do you want? What will it take for you to say yes and finally end this for good? This? Me and you? It's happening. The art of wrestling for me is finished, but that doesn't mean I'm not a man and won't still fight. It doesn't mean I won't fight for what I believe in. You just name the time and the place Punk, and it's on."

Chase Owens | Jeremiah Plunkett |
Plunkett heads out on crutches, joined by half of Country Jacked Adam Page. What is this? The commentators are skeptical of this apparent injury.
Jeremiah Plunkett: "Owens! You son of a bitch! You know there's nothing I want more than a piece of you right here, right now! But see, this past Wednesday at TV, I rolled my ankle here when I was heading back after throwing you into the ringpost. Even with the ankle injury, boy did that ever feel good! haha. But see, what it means is that tonight, I can't compete! I can't whoop your ass like you deserve! Now I know everybody's disappointed, but fear not because I have a replacement here. You wanna step up to the World Junior Heavyweight Title all the time? Well the time for talk is over. Meet Adam Page, the man who's going to end your not so realistic aspirations. And I just hope he saves some for me! Because when this gets healed, I want a piece of you yet!"
Chase Owens defeats Adam Page @ 7:42 via pinfall after the Roaring Elbow. Despite the last minute substitution, Owens still shines in a quick, fast paced encounter with Page. Both put on a show with Owens hitting several moves from his varied repertoire, including the WBTK Driver. Page was not without some flashiness of his own, including an over the shoulder back to belly piledriver, the Right of Passage, scoring a 2 count and very close fall. Setting up for Turn the Page, he gets Owens into the arm trap, but Owens gets free and spins into the discus elbow with connection that could be heard in the concession stand. Owens wins, much to the dismay of Plunkett, but their issue is far from over. On a break however until Plunkett recovers, but a big asset for him has been his mouth, which is still unfortunately perfectly intact.
Women's Title match
VS | ||
Champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe | Challenger Taeler Hendrix |
Women's champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Taeler Hendrix to retain the title @ 6:39 via tap out to the Rainbow Cross. Hendrix will have to go to the back of the line thanks to this failure in her guaranteed rematch with the champion. As always, the performance proves to never count Monroe out as Hendrix had control of things. Monroe telegraphed a back body drop and instead went for a sunset flip. Hendrix however stayed up right, but Monroe pushed herself forward and grabbed Hendrix by the head, locking in a bodyscissors, putting on her modified STF from out of nowhere. Hendrix took only seconds to tap. The commentators put it over as quite possibly the most dangerous move in wrestling as once applied, nobody has managed to break free thus far. Conspicuous by her absence, no Seleziya Sparx here in the corner of Hendrix.
Paredyse | Ryan Howe | James Thomas |
VS | ||
Ali Vaez | Shiloh Jonze | Eric Locker |
Ali Vaez, Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker defeat Paredyse, Ryan Howe & James Thomas @ 9:17 when Vaez pinned Howe after The Hurt Locker by Locker. The Blacklist have shown no signs of slowing down with Rudy Switchblade ousted from the group. The return of James 'Moose' Thomas on the other hand may pose a problem. While The Blacklist did win, the team did not escape unharmed. Vaez took a big spear from Moose in a big 6 man brawl to close out the match. It was Locker though, lifting Howe onto his shoulders for an Electric Chair and dropping him into a German suplex that proved enough, as he then placed Vaez on top for the 3. Jonze held the leg of Paredyse to keep him out, while Moose was just too late. As Locker & Jonze held up an ailing Vaez in victory on the floor, Moose wanted to keep going, but The Blacklist were done for the night as they pick up the win. But can Vaez run or hide from Moose in the weeks to come?

Rob Conway | Marcus Anthony | Melvin Maximus |
Rob Conway defeats Marcus Anthony and Melvin Maximus in a 3 way dance @ 11:53, pinning Maximus after The Ego Trip. The Ironman picks up a big victory to follow up on winning The Nightmare Rumble at Futureshock, proving it was indeed no fluke by going over the final 2 other participants in the match here. Far from an easy victory though as Anthony seemingly had Conway pinned after The Gamma Punch, but Maximus broke it up. Anthony would end up in the Bear Hug by Maximus, only for Conway to break that up. Conway himself ended up in the Bear Hug, with Anthony making the save to return the favor. Anthony would get Maximus into the Crimson Omen full nelson, but Maximus used his strength to break free by driving Anthony back first into the turnbuckle. The action moved to the outside where the manager of Maximus, Josh Ashcraft, provided the distraction for Maximus to drive Anthony into the ringpost. Back inside, Maximus looked to finish off Conway, but he would turn things around and eventually catch Maximus with his whiplash finisher. Some vengeance for Conway as Maximus tried to take him after a TV win a month ago, and also a big win because it makes Conway the only wrestler on the roster to put the shoulders of Maximus down to the mat, ending a lengthy unbeaten streak that dates back a year.
First Blood match for the Heavyweight Title
VS | ||
Champion Elijah Burke | Challenger Chris Silvio |
The story here has revolved around the seemingly split personality disorder of Silvio over anything else. As the TV champion, the Psychedelic Superstar with Mary Jane at his side, it would seem that The Pope has his number with a win at Futureshock 3 weeks ago. But transformed, darkened hair, ghostly white face paint with blood spatters of unknown origin, and Silvio seems to have Burke's number. After an attack on TV 2.5 weeks ago, this is also under 'First Blood' rules, meaning the first to bleed loses. And unfortunately for Burke, the alternate Silvio has arrived.
As the bell rings, Burke is left with no approach. Throw out any game plan because nothing is known of this man. He is almost 'Undertaker' or 'Mankind' like, not in that he feels no pain or it has no effect, but rather seems to thrive off of any pain inflicted. With no Mary Jane present, there is nobody to guide Silvio either, which may be making him more dangerous. He manages to control much of the match, but the focus on blood, pinfalls or submissions are out the door. Instead there are teased spots like Silvio with a spike, only for Burke to kick him and knock it away. Or an exposed turnbuckle with the pad removed, only for Burke to block it and avoid contact. The threat however is always there.
Silvio finally connects with the Rocket Punch to put Burke down, but no blood. Silvio goes to get the spike again and it would seem that Burke is ripe for the picking. He is about to drive the spike down when Burke gets his hands up. It takes a lot of power for Burke to prevent this. He manages to get to a knee and then his feet with both having hands on it. As they battle for possession, Burke lets go and Silvio tugs the spike back to his own face, nearly impailing his eye. Burke kicks him in the midsection and, grabs by the back of the head and connects with the Elijah Experience! The facebuster has Silvio down as Burke gets up. He has the spike and waits. Silvio gets up and Burke charges, but Silvio moves. Burke stops himself in the corner. Silvio charges as Burke moves and Silvio charges face first into the exposed turnbuckle! He drops to 1 knee as Burke, still with the spike, drives it into the face.
Silvio is down as the referee checks. Blood has been drawn. Burke picks up the victory and will retain his title at a time of 14:26. It was not without a battle though. Burke gets his title and raises it as Silvio may have taken a hit to the eye here. The referee calls for help for the TV champion. Burke steps in to check when suddenly the lights go out! After about 15 seconds, they come back on and Silvio is gone, nowhere to be found. The mystery continues, but it would seem he is no longer The Pope's problem after tonight. Who will be is anybody's guess? For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next time.
