The commentators welcome viewers to the show. Last week we found out it would be Cliff Compton challenging Elijah Burke for the OVW Title per his winning the #1 contender battle royal. Tonight, the final 8 survivors before Compton will compete in the first round of a tournament to determine a new TV champion. The lineup is ...
- Paredyse vs Eric Locker in a first round match
- Ryan Howe vs Shiloh Jonze in a first round match
- Dylan Bostic vs The Body Guy in a first round match
- Robbie Walker vs Adam Revolver in a first round match
- The Wild Boyz get their rematch vs The Congregation for the Tag Team Title
Also here tonight, Global Force Wrestling owner Jeff Jarrett is here with comments on the upcoming Jamin Olivencia vs Rob Conway match. Right now though, it's up to Scarlett with the introductions for the opening contest ...
Match #1
James Thomas vs Raul Lamotta
James Thomas defeats Raul Lamotta @ 4:38 via pinfall after the Moose Kick. Moose continues his strong run since returning with a solid performance against The Rudo. Lamotta gets in little offense here. No resonse yet from Ali Vaez as Thomas seeks out a 1 on 1 match with him in the name of his friend Mike Hayes. Is The Blacklist leader scared of Moose?

Ringside interview w/ Cliff Compton
Terry Boddie is joined by the new #1 contender. Compton wonders if there was ever any doubt? Once he dropped the dead weight and got back to doing what he does best, it should be elementary that he can beat The Pope for the title, or anybody else here for that matter. September 5 is the date, but why wait? Compton wants Pope 1 on 1 next week. Give fans a little sneak preview as only Mr. 1859 can. Asked about the whereabouts of Colt Cabana, Compton reiterates that he was only here to help him. He no longer needs the help, hence he's gone!
Match #2
First Round TV Title Tournament match
Ryan Howe vs Shiloh Jonze
Ryan Howe defeats Shiloh Jonze @ 6:08 via pinfall after the Chart Topper. The Rockstar advances over 1/3 of The Blacklist with this close back and forth. Jonze cheats to get the upperhand, eventually putting in the mandible claw. Howe however gets to the ropes and kicks free before it gets fully applied. He then goes for the Whammy Bar, but Jonze blocks going down and knees him in the midsection. He then Irish whips Howe to the corner and charges, but Howe gets a foot up. Jonze turns and takes the Blockbuster DDT as Howe gets the win and advances to the semi finals.

Match #3
First Round TV Title tournament match
Dylan Bostic vs The Body Guy
Dylan Bostic defeats The Body Guy @ 5:13 via pinfall after the backstabber. Bostic was joined by Ray Lynn, and Body Guy was joined by Big Jon. Needless to say, 1 was a bigger advantage than the other. Big Jon got in some interference, but the presence of TerreMex coming out would back him down. Body Guy was distracted by this as Bostic made the comeback by taking advantage of the fact he was turned, delivering the double knee backbreaker and advancing to the semi final. The feud between TerreMex and The Body Guy & Big Jon seems to be escalating here week by week.

Ringside interview w/ Jeff Jarrett
Terry Boddie is joined by the Global Force owner. Jarrett has a laugh on what is going on. Jamin Olivencia beat CM Punk, ok, but where is his title shot? Still nothing. Had he joined GFW, he would have been in the Summerslam main event, probably be the champion right now. Instead he is still left fighting. And now? Rob Conway. Furthermore, the 2 of them are out here acting all buddy-buddy. Wake up and realize the truth, good friends, better enemies. They both want the same pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but next week the storm hits and there won't be any rainbow. Forget Olivencia and Conway because plan A is old news, and it's now time for plan B.
Match #4
First Round TV Title tournament match
Robbie Walker vs Adam Revolver
Adam Revolver defeats Robbie Walker @ 5:48 via pinfall after the Russian legsweep. Another strong performance from Walker, coming very close to victory with several near falls. He would go for the superkick, but Revolver moved behind the referee in a cowardly act. Walker walked in as the referee got out of the way, taking a thumb to the eye. Revolver quickly took advantage of the illegal act by hitting his finisher and moving ahead to the semi finals next week.

Match #5
First Round TV Title tournament match
Paredyse vs Eric Locker
Paredyse defeats Eric Locker @ 6:53 via pinfall with a victory roll. Continuing the tag team feud with Ryan Howe vs Shiloh Jonze earlier, The Blacklist was unable to get the better in this match either. Locker had control of the match, beating down Paredyse. Ali Vaez had made his way out to act as unlicensed manager. Vaez argued what he felt were slow counts, leading to the appearance of James 'Moose' Thomas at ringside. Vaez backed off as Thomas chased him around the ring and to the back. Locker then went for the Hurt Locker, lifting Paredyse up into the electric chair. Instead Paredyse reversed the move into a victory roll, taking the match and advancing to the semi finals next week.

Ringside interview w/ Elijah Burke
Terry Boddie is joined by the OVW champion. Last week Cliff Compton earned a title shot at the September 5 Saturday Night Special, but earlier tonight, he challenged Burke to a match next week on TV. Burke laughs and thinks Compton is getting ahead of himself. He probably thought Pope would run and hide, trying to make him look bad, but that's not the case. He accepts Compton's challenge to a match next week, and he will be lucky if he even makes it to September 5 once he gets through with him.
Match #6
Tag Team championship match
The Wild Boyz vs The Congregation (c)
Before the match started, Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles took the mic. He announced that while Altar Boy Jade Dawson & Apostle Jake Glasure won the belts, the contract was signed to The Congregation. There are 3 of them, and they are enforcing Freebird rules where any 2 of the 3 can defend the belts. Tonight it will be Dawson & Miles, not Glasure.
Tag Team champions The Congregation defeat The Wild Boyz to retain the title @ 8:26 when Dawson pinned Bud Dwight after Miles used the 'good book'. The numbers game is just too much for the challengers as they fail in this guaranteed rematch from the Saturday Night Special. The Wild Boyz had control when Glasure would attempt interference. This only distracted the referee and EFD Eddie Diamond. Dwight had control of Dawson, but Miles would grab the 'good book' and hit him in the back of the head, placing Dawson on top. With 3 members to the team, can any team in OVW overcome The Congregation?
Next week, the 2 semi final matches in the TV Title tournament, the Women's Title with champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe defending against Seleziya Sparx, but the big preview with OVW champion Elijah Burke vs Cliff Compton. No title on the line, but a sneak peak at what's to come on September 5 at the next Saturday Night Special. Plus GFW owner Jeff Jarrett making a vague statement about something to do with Jamin Olivencia and Rob Conway for next Wednesday. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1
Seleziya Sparx defeats Solo Darling @ 5:17 via pinfall after the spiral bomb. Fresh off laying out Women's champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe last week on TV, Sparx gets a strong win here. It gets announced that on the next TV, Sparx will get her title shot at Monroe. The commentators wonder if this is the master plan of Taeler Hendrix to get the title back, and what exactly Seleziya thinks of her role in it?
Websclusive match #2
Mario Bokara defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 0:41 via tap out to the standing Fujiwara armbar. Bokara follows up last week's destruction of Ram Jam on the main TV with another dominant win. Pridemoore had no chance here as it would seem that Bokara could be the real deal from these early wins with neither opponent able to last longer than 1 minute so far.
