So I realise that the battle royal addition may some rather odd choices of eliminatons and such, and the reason for that is I decided to randomise a lot of the eliminations to create a bit of chaos. Its given me some fun new ideas that I hope to build upon after this show, even if the choices may be questionable at times. Anyway this PPV was really a lot of fun to write, I'd love some feedback to know what you think of this as having had a few struggles to get inspiration post Summerslam, this I feel is more like what I want NWA Maximum to be. Anyway I hope you enjoy this beginning of some stories and ending of others.
NWA Maximum Presents: Maximum Carnage Live on iPPV
"The Commissioner of Asskicking" Steve Blackman is out to begin the show.
Blackman: "Hello and thanks wrestling fans for tuning in to the latest NWA Maximum iPPV, Maximum Carnage. Now I know there's a lot of great talent sitting on the sidelines tonight, and I don't want anyone to think that this is a promotion for just the chosen few. That's not how we do things in NWA Maximum, everyone has a shot, and that's why I am starting this show off with an NWA Maximum Rules Battle Royal, which means there are no rules other that throw your opponent over the top to eliminate them. Everyone who isn't wrestling tonight is welcome to compete, and the winner will get a shot at the NWA Title of their choosing.
My second announcement is that the steel cage match between Randy Orton and Karl Anderson, originally scheduled to be in the midcard, has been moved to the main event slot of tonight's show. And to ensure we get a clean winner in the middle of the ring, escaping the cage will NOT win the match, you must win by pinfall or submission. A match like this deserves to be last on and I know you fans are going to love it.
Good luck to everyone tonight and let the asskicking commence!"
Battle Royal
Participants: Arcadia, Azrieal, Bandido Jr, Biff Busick, Brian Cage, Caleb Konley, Chris Dickinson, Cody Rhodes, Drew Galloway, Drew Gulak, Jay Lethal, JT Dunn, Matt Taven, Matt Tremont, Michael Elgin, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong, The Reject, Tommaso Ciampa, Tony Nese, Trent Barreta, Trevor Lee
22 participants in this battle royal in total, even The Reject has chosen to get involved despite his obvious commitments to the cause of Personal Demons tonight. Anyway with there being no rules, this battle royal was a little bit more crazy than you would usually see, indeed you could view everyone in this as equals as the weapons were the great equalizer. Anyway to summarise the goings on, here are the eliminations up until the final four-
Cody Rhodes by Brian Cage (Rhodes tried to throw Cage over when his back was turned, Cage grabbed him and Powerbombed him over the top to the floor)
Biff Busick by Drew Galloway (Busick charged at Galloway and he simply tossed him over in mid charge)
Arcadia by Michael Elgin (Arcadia went to the top for a high flying move but Elgin crotched him and threw him out)
Drew Galloway by Roderick Strong (Strong pummelled Galloway with chops then a charging chop sent Galloway over and out)
Azrieal by Jay Lethal (Azrieal got cocky after hitting Lethal with some strikes against the ropes, charged and Lethal held the top rope down as Azrieal fell over to the floor)
Trent Barreta by Brian Cage (Barreta and Premier Athlete Brand team mate Konley teamed up on Cage, but a mistimed chairshot by Konley hat Barreta, as Elgin took care of Konley Cage body pressed Barreta out of the ring!)
Brian Cage by Chris Dickinson (Dickinson took advantage of Cage being distracted by Barreta, smashing him in the back with a baseball bat multiple times and tossing him over the top, a big statement of intent by Dickinson!)
Bandido Jr by Matt Tremont (Bandido Jr made the same mistake as Arcadia, climbing to the top allowing Tremont to smack him with a chair and send him tumbling out of the ring)
Mike Bennett by Jay Lethal (big elimination by Lethal who after an exchange of strikes hat a Dragon Suplex on Bennett, then tossed him out before Ciampa or Taven could save him)
Michael Elgin by Roderick Strong (Strong and Elgin exchanged vicious chops in the centre of the ring, Elgin gained a temporary advantage, but Strong caught him mid charge, hat a Backbreaker and threw Elgin out, as both the main World Tag champs are out!)
Tony Nese by Matt Taven (Nese would miss a chair shot, smacking the chair off the ropes and smashing himself in the face, and Taven grabbed him and threw him over to gain another elimination)
Caleb Konley by Trevor Lee (The Premier Athlete Brand ended their participation as Lee hat Konley with the Orange Crush, then tossed him out)
JT Dunn by Chris Dickinson (Dickinson managed to block the KO Elbow of Dunn with a chair, threw it in his face and then booted him in the face to send him out and over the top)
Trevor Lee by Drew Gulak (Gulak smacked Lee with a baseball bat multiple times then he was easily tossed out of the ring)
The Reject by Matt Tremont (Tremont gets his second elimination in an impressive performance, blocking a Hurricanrana attempt and throwing The Reject out of the ring)
Drew Gulak by Jay Lethal (Lethal escaped a Gu-Lock attempt, hitting the lethal Combination and then Clotheslining Gulak out)
Matt Tremont by Chris Dickinson (Dickinson gets another big elimination and ends Tremont's impressive run, hitting the Brain Drill with was enough to subdue Tremont and allow him to be thrown out)
Tommaso Ciampa by Roderick Strong (Strong gets another elimination, avoiding a Ciampa charge and chopping Ciampa against the ropes, following with another charging chop that sent Ciampa over and out)
We are down to the final four, and its Chris Dickinson, Jay Lethal, Matt Taven and Roderick Strong, four outstanding performers in this match. The four men circle as the crowd are hot to see who will earn themselves the honour of an NWA Title match of their choosing. The match pairs off into Lethal vs Taven and Dickinson vs Strong, as these exchanges go on for a good 2-3 minutes before we get our next elimination. And it would be Roderick Strong who would take the fall, as Strong missed a Sick Kick, allowing Dickinson to charge with a vicious Lariat and take him out of the ring.
As Dickinson was eliminating Strong, Matt Taven would also be eliminated, as Taven went to the top for the Frog Splash only for Lethal to head up top mid move and punch him several times, causing him to wobble and fall to the floor.
The match comes down to Chris Dickinson vs home town hero Jay Lethal, and you know he'd love to earn another title match. The two exchange big moves back and forth for a few minutes, with neither man getting an advantage or being able to throw their opponent out. Lethal then began to feed off the energy of the crowd, hitting a Superkick followed by a Running Neckbreaker, then climbed to the top and hat a beautiful Diving Headbutt! He drags Dickinson to his feet and into the corner, looking for the elimination and almost getting it until Dickinson throws a desperation punch that dazes Lethal. BRAIN DRILL! Dickinson picks up Lethal and dumps him over the top to loud boos from the fans, as Dickinson has out of nowhere won the battle royal and a future title shot!
Winner- Chris Dickinson
NWA Maximum Heavyweight Title Match
Dan Maff vs Samoa Joe
This has largely been a match that has not needed any real hype going in, as both men are intense big men who like to hit hard and to fight. The two start the match with an intense staredown, before sharing a lockup than ends in a stalemate. The two then decide to dispense with the formalities and just go at it with fists, forearms and chops. Joe manages to get Maff up against the ropes with a combination of punches and chops, only for Maff to fire back with forearms and chops that pushes Joe up against the ropes. Maff tries to take Joe over the top with a Clothesline, but Joe moves and Maff falls out of the ring. SUICIDE DIVE BY JOE! Maff is reeling as Joe throws him into the guardrail, then does the facewash boots. He get a run up, charges, RUNNING FACEWASH TO THE GUARDRAIL! Joe picks up the dazed Maff and throws him back in, going for the cover, getting a close near fall! Joe goes for an irish whip to the corner, but Maff reverses and charges, nailing a massive splash that sends Joe to a sit down position in the corner. CANNONBALL! 1-2-NO! Maff picks up Joe and hits him with a few European Uppercuts and chops, then hits an impressive Vertical Suplex to his big opponent, albeit it not delaying like he might with a smaller opponent. Get goes for the cover but only get 2. Maff attempts the Half Nelson Suplex, but Joe manages to block the move and fire back with a few quick forearms. He charges the ropes looking for a Lariat, but Maff grabs him, NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! 1-2-NO! Maff once again goes for the Half Nelson Suplex, but Joe once again blocks, goes behind Maff and hits a desperation German Suplex, as both men are down for a 10 count. Joe is up at 7 and Maff at 8 as the two fire away with punches and forearms, Joe getting the advantage before grabbing Maff, POWERBOMB! 1-2-Maff kicks out but Joe transitions to an STF! Maff struggles to get out of the hold as Joe has it fully locked, but he eventually makes it to the ropes. With Maff down Joe goes outside the ring and sets up a table, clearly looking for something nasty, before getting back in the ring. He grabs Maff and drags him to the ring apron, and he's looking for the Island Driver off the apron through the table, this would end it for sure. Out of desperation Maff escapes and grabs Joe from behind. HALF NELSON SUPLEX ON THE RING APRON! The fans chant "holy shit" at the top of their voices, that was nasty and I don't see Joe getting up from that. Maff struggles to pick up Joe who is completely limp after that move and could be out cold, but gets him up and throws him into the ring ,going for the cover, 1-2-JOE GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES! Maff pounds the mat with frustration and drags Joe in the middle of the ring, going for the cover again, 1-2-2.999! How did Joe kick out of that? Maff screams at the top of his lungs with frustration. He again struggles to lift Joe who is still limp after that move, and drags him over to the same ring apron, and he's looking for the Burning Hammer through the table, this could end Joe's life let alone the match! Joe somehow manages to escape and lifts Maff, ISLAND DRIVER THROUGH THE TABLE AND MAFF LANDS ON HIS HEAD! The fans are again on their feet chanting "holy shit" and both men look completely out of it to me after that. After a long minute neither man is moving and the referee checks both, AND CALLS FOR THE BELL! The fans boo but the referee calls this a double knockout, I think for the safety of both men that was the right call as they are both done.
Winner- Double Knockout
Officials and medical staff rush out to the aid of both men and there's some real concern for Maff in particular who landed nastily off that Island Driver. Joe manages to make it to his feet but still has to be helped out by officials while Maff is carried out on a stretcher, he hasn't moved since the match ended and he may have a serious neck injury. Hopefully both men will be OK and we will get a rematch down the line, we will keep you updated.
NWA Maximum Tag Team Title Tournament Final
The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs The Unholy Alliance (Kyle Matthews and Johnny Gargano)
This is a very tough match to call on paper, on the one hand you have The Motor City Machine Guns with a renewed focus and determination to be recognised for their efforts in the NWA, while on the other hand you have The Unholy Alliance who may have their problems with each other but when on form they can be an unstoppable unit. The fans were pretty split here, but if I was to say if any team had the majority of fan support it would be The Unholy Union, but that would only be a 60-40 split and The Guns definitely had their fans to.
Shelley and Gargano started the match off, repeating some of the crisp mat wrestling that we saw from them in their singles match last week, before a tag to Sabin saw the action pick up a bit with some faster exchanges. Matthews then tagged in and as Matthews tried to slow the match down with some ground moves, Sabin tried to keep the pace up, which worked in his favour this time around. The quick pace allowed him to tag in Shelley often and vice versa as The Guns hat Matthews with a few quick double team moves, including a Double Enziguri that would have finished it had Gargano not broken up the cover.
Matthews got back into the match with a Slurpee Kick on Shelley out of nowhere, allowing him to tag Gargano who got a near fall on Sabin with a Slingshot DDT and then a Spear to Shelley after he tagged in to again get a near fall. This was only a temporary reprise for The Unholy Union though as they soon took control over Gargano, who took a lot of punishment from The Guns as they hit him with almost every double team move in their arsenal. This included the Bullet Point, the Thunder Express, which was only broken up by Matthews at the last second and a Doomsday Dropkick which Gargano broke up the cover from with a foot on the ropes. As a last act of desperation, Gargano managed to hit the Lawn Dart to Shelley, as the fans chanted for Matthews to make the tag.
Shelley tagged Sabin but Gargano managed to tag Matthews who was a house on fire, taking out both Shelley and Sabin by himself with chair shots from his blood stained steel chair, then getting a near fall on Sabin with the Slurpee Kick. HIDAKA LOCK TO SABIN! Gargano holds back Shelley and this could be it, but Shelley manages to escape Gargano's clutches and break up the hold just before Sabin tapped. Matthews grabs his chair as Gargano holds back Shelley for a chair shot, BUT SHELLEY MOVES AND MATTHEWS HITS GARGANO! Sabin tackles Matthews and throws him out of the ring as Shelley grabs Gargano. SLICED BREAD #2! 1-2-3, THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS WIN IT!
Winner- NEW NWA Maximum Tag Team Champions, The Motor City Machine Guns
Well thanks to some miscommunication from Matthews and Gargano, The Motor City Machine Guns emerge from the tournament with the Tag Team Titles, while once again The Unholy Union emerge disappointed. Shelley and Sabin celebrate with the titles and leave, as The Unholy Union make it to their feet. Matthews shouts at Gargano with his frustration clearly showing, shoving Gargano down then leaves as the fans boo, as the problems between these two continue to bubble to the surface. Is this the end once again for The Unholy Union, or will they be able to get things together?
Grudge Match, If Personal Demons Wins Shane Helms Must Retire, If Shane Helms Wins the Personal Demons Character Will Be Retired
Personal Demons vs "Kryptonite" Shane Helms
Helms has been perhaps the biggest thorn in the back of Personal Demons since his arrival in the NWA in the early days of NWA Maximum, pursuing him ever since the episode of Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel where Demons along with The Reject turned on Jericho and Helms, putting Jericho through the Highlight Reel monitor. Since then Helms was at the side of Jericho in his feud with Demons which ultimately lead to his retirement, then was more a neutral party in the Matt Hardy rivalry thanks to Hardy refusing to get involved in the Jericho rivalry earlier and save Jericho's career. Then finally Helms donned the Kryptonite character, a more serious variation of The Hurricane, and cost Demons the NWA World Heavyweight Title against AJ Styles at Summerslam to step this rivalry up a gear. Now Helms has his career on the line while Demons will retire the character if he loses.
Demons comes out to deafening boos from everyone in attendance, looking very confident in his chances, then Helms comes out to the loudest ovation of the night so far, the crowd are definitely in his corner. There's no time for introductions as the two go straight at it, exchanging punches as Helms gets the advantage, knocking Demons over the top and then vaulting over the top with a Body Press! Helms throws Demons into the stairs, then tries to throws Demons into the second set of stairs, only for Demons to reverse and Helms crashing into them!
Demons throws Helms back into the ring, grabs a chair, and unloads on Helms with several vicious chairshots, making him writhe on the canvas with pain. He then grabs a kendo stick, throws Helms into the corner and unloads on him with repeated shots from the stick, before breaking the stick in half with a final shot. Demons goes for the cover, 1-2-NO! Demons grabs a ladder from under the ring, charging and smashing it into the gut of Helms, before setting up the ladder. LEGDROP OFF THE LADDER BUT HELMS MOVES! Demons landed nastily on that, but there's no 10 count as this match must have a decisive outcome.
Demons is up first as Helms props himself up in the corner, Demons goes for a Poetry in Motion but Helms moves and Demons crashes into the corner. Helms hits a few fast Clotheslines, then follows it up with an X-Plex for a near fall. He then hits a Krypto-Kick followed by the SHINING WIZARD! 1-2-NO! Helms calls for the Vertebreaker, but here comes The Reject! He goes after Helms with a chair and smacks him with it. Before he can do anything else though, CHRIS JERICHO CHARGES UP FROM THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE! The Reject tries an attack but Jericho ducks and hits some punches. CODEBREAKER! The Reject is out of this match as Jericho returns to the table, but Demons now has had sufficent time to recover.
Demons grabs Helms, TWIST OF FATE! 1-2-HELMS GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES! That could and should have been it if Demons had just moved Helms into the middle of the ring. Demons then sets up the ladder once again, picks up Helms and slams him down, before ascending the ladder. SWANTON BOMB BUT HELMS MOVES! Both men are down again as the fans chant for Helms. Demons once again makes it up first, tries charging at Helms with a chair BUT HELMS KICKS IT IN HIS FACE! CHOKESLAM! 1-2-THE REJECT BREAKS UP THE COVER! Somehow The Reject has recovered and has something in his pocket, it looks like a fireball. Chris Jericho is up again and shoves Helms out of the way BUT TAKES THE FIREBALL TO THE FACE! Jericho saves Helms but pays the penalty!
Helms grabs The Reject by the throat and looks for the Chokeslam, but Demons attacks him from behind before he can hit the move. REVERSE TWIST OF FATE! 1-2-2.999! Demons cannot believe it as he ascends the ladder one more time, and The Reject holds Helms to the canvas, this is wrong and there's nobody left to stop him. HERE COMES MATT HARDY! We haven't seen him in months and the fans explode as he comes to Helms's aid. TWIST OF FATE TO THE REJECT! Demons tries to leap off the ladder on to his brother but he blocks the move, TWIST OF FATE TO DEMONS! Hardy drags The Reject out of there as Helms crawls over to cover Demons, 1-2-2.999! How is this match not over? Helms fights his way to his feet and then drags Demons up. VERTEBREAKER! 1-2-3, SHANE HELMS WINS AND PERSONAL DEMONS IS DONE!
Winner- Shane Helms
Helms has managed to do what he set out to do, he has rid the NWA of the Personal Demons character against all the odds. He celebrates, feeling vindicated and at peace at long last, then leaves as Personal Demons sits up, looking shocked at what has occurred here tonight. He then leaves completely emotionless, and the next time we see him he will either have reverted back to being plain old Jeff Hardy, or we may even see him in another guise, that is entirely up to him. What will be the next step in Jeff Hardy's journey? And what about The Reject, will he revert back to Shannon Moore or will he continue down his own path? There are many questions to be answered.
NWA World Heavyweight Title Best 2/3 Falls Match
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan
AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan have one big act to follow after the chaos of that last match, but if there's one thing these men do well its stealing any show they are on, and that is what they went out there to do. As the longest reigning holder of any NWA Title in the modern era, Daniel Bryan is a tough challenger for the World Heavyweight Title and one who will push the World champ to the limit.
The two shake hands to start the match off, then lock up, Bryan gets the advantage and takes Styles to the canvas, as the two chain wrestle and exchange holds and counter holds for the opening portion of this contest. Bryan seemed to have the advantage in that department, but Styles himself was more than capable of outwrestling Bryan on a few occasions.
The match began to pick up pace when Bryan threw a few kicks to the body of Styles, backing him against the ropes, but an irish whip saw Styles reverse and then hits the Dropkick to send Bryan out of the ring, following it up with an awesome Tope over the top to take Bryan down! Styles goes for a throw to the step, but Bryan leaps onto the steps and takes Styles down with a Diving Forearm! Bryan throws Styles back in and climbs to the top, hitting a beautiful Missile Dropkick for a near fall. Bryan then quickly follows this up with a Snap Underhook Suplex for another quick near fall. Bryan unleashes a few kick to the chest of Styles, going for a third only for Styles to block AND LOCK THE CALF KILLER! Bryan almost makes the ropes but Styles drags him back in, and is blocking any attempts for Bryan to reverse the hold! BRYAN TAPS! Big shocker as Styles gets the 1st fall following a mistake by Bryan.
Bryan writhes in pain on the canvas and it looks like he may have suffered an injury. The referee and Styles check on him, BUT BRYAN LOCKS STYLES IN THE SMALL PACKAGE! 1-2-2.999! Bryan was playing possum and Styles charges, LEBELL LOCK! Styles tries to reverse out of the hold but Bryan refuses to let go and knows every means to stop Styles escaping. STYLES TAPS! We are even at one fall each, and now its all down to the vital final fall.
Angered by the antics of Bryan in the last fall, Styles shoves Bryan down and Bryan responds with forearms to Styles, as the good nature of the early goings have given way to competition. Styles wins an exchange and pounds away on Bryan with forearm after forearm, but Bryan reverses that and smacks away with kicks to the chest of Styles, before trying for another Snap Underhook Suplex. Styles reverses though and hits the Styles Suplex Special for a near fall. Styles attempts the Discus lariat but Bryan ducks underneath, runs the ropes AND HITS THE RUNNING KNEE! 1-2-2.999! LEBELL LOCK! Styles holds on and moves back, finally getting his foot on the ropes to break the hold. Bryan hits the Regal Plex, then climbs to the top rope. DIVING HEADBUTT BUT STYLES MOVES! DISCUS LARIAT! 1-2-2.999! Styles picks up Bryan, STYLES CLASH! 1-2-3, Styles retains, great sprint of a match though maybe a little shorter than we all expected and another big win in what is proving to be an amazing reign for the current champion.
Winner- AJ Styles
Post match the two shake hands and Bryan raises Styles hand, with Bryan saying he will challenge Styles again down the line regardless of whether he still holds that belt or not. Styles celebrates with the title some more before we go to our main event!
NWA Maximum TV Title Steel Cage Match
Randy Orton vs Karl Anderson
Well this is it, a match months in the making, as Randy Orton can no longer run from Karl Anderson and has to put up or shut up. Karl Anderson has had revenge on his mind for months after Orton cost him the NWA Maximum Heavyweight Title back in June through a rather stupid stipulation. Orton has 2 previous victories over Anderson and this is almost definitely Anderson's last opportunity to get some vengeance and take Orton's TV Title, the belt he has held since its creation.
Orton is reluctant to get in the cage, but when he sees Anderson storming down to the ring he rushes in there to get a brief moment of respite, before Anderson joins him in the cage and the door is locked. Orton decides the best form of attack is defence, so he charges ONLY TO BE TOSSED INTO THE CAGE BY ANDERSON! Anderson screams with anger as he lifts Orton up into the corner and fires away with wild punches, unleashing all his built up fury in the process. He throws Orton into one cage wall, then another cage wall and a third, and Orton is busted open big time! Anderson tapes up his right fist and starts pounding away on the cut of Orton, and if Orton doesn't do something soon he's going to be completely annihilated.
And that something comes in the way of David Otunga, Orton's lawyer, who rushes out to the ring, punches the outside ref and unlocks the cage, getting in as Anderson doesn't see him. Well that is until Otunga prepares to hit Anderson with his briefcase, and then Anderson sees him as Otunga begs for Anderson not to do anything. Anderson attacks as Otunga tosses his briefcase in the direction of Orton, GUN STUN TO OTUNGA! But Orton has the briefcase, CHARGING BRIEFCASE SHOT TO ANDERSON! Otunga may have saved Orton's hide as he is rolled out of the ring and dragged out by security, while Orton smacks away on Anderson with the briefcase a few more times. He throws Anderson into one of the cage walls, then drags him to another and rubs his face in the mesh of the cage to bust him open. Orton then takes his turn to tape up his fists and pound away on Anderson's cut, as both men are wearing a crimson mask. Orton whips Anderson hard into the corner, causing him to bounce off, and Orton follows it with a Powerslam into a cover, 1-2-NO! Orton picks up Anderson and fires away with a few more punches in the corner, but Anderson reverses it and pounds away with some punches of his own! Orton rakes the eyes and cockily poses to the audience, then goes for another throw into the cage, BUT ANDERSON REVERSES THROWING ORTON INTO THE CAGE! Both men are down and there's no 10 count here, there must be a winner.
Both men get back up and Orton tries a punch but Anderson blocks, hitting a punch of his own. Orton tries another, Anderson blocks again and hits his own punch. One more by Orton and the same again, as Anderson fires away with punches once again, throwing Orton into the cage, then hits a Spinebuster! 1-2-NO! Anderson goes for the Gun Stun and this would end it, BUT ORTON HITS A LOW BLOW! Orton smugly poses once again and its all legal in NWA Maximum, but the fans definitely don't like it. Orton awaits for the winded Anderson to get up and hits a Clothesline, then a second one, followed by a Powerslam, then nods to the audience as he pounds the canvas and wants the RKO. ORTON NAILS IT! 1-2-2.999, ANDERSON KICKS OUT AND ORTON CAN'T BELIEVE IT!
Orton has no idea what to do now, he decides he wants no more part of this match and tries to get out the door, but that's not happening, so he starts climbing the cage. Anderson however manages to make it up to his feet, blocking Orton's attempt to flee. Anderson climbs up after Orton and both men are sitting at the top of the cage, exchanging left and right hands and this is very dangerous. That is until Orton tries to go for an RKO from the top of the cage, that would end it for sure, but Anderson blocks. Anderson manages to crotch Orton, who wobbles and looks like he could fall at any moment. Anderson then grabs Orton by the head, looks down AND HITS THE GUN STUN FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE TO THE CANVAS! 1-2-3, ANDERSON WINS THE MATCH, THE TITLE AND THE WAR!
Winner- NEW NWA Maximum TV Champion, Karl Anderson
Anderson can barely stands, but celebrates with his newly won title to the adulation of the fans, while Orton lies blooded and beaten on the canvas. Anderson climbs to the top of the cage and celebrates with his title, soaking in the cheers, while Orton is helped out of the cage by David Otunga and to the back, a loss that will hurt his ego in a big way. The show ends with Anderson holding up his NWA Maximum TV Title as the fans chant his name!
We are down to the final four, and its Chris Dickinson, Jay Lethal, Matt Taven and Roderick Strong, four outstanding performers in this match.
