Cody Hall defeated Devon Storm on the pre-show in his debut, the 6'8" big man and son of the legend Scott Hall, hits a big chokeslam for the win in 5:24
RVD opens the show and reminds fans that tonight's main-event was signed on the last SNL. Newcommer Bad News Barrett who has been very vocal about Chris Masters gets the chance to show if he can fight as well as he can talk as he faces off against The Masterpiece in the main-event. Also he has signed for tonight a rematch, as the new Cyber TV Champion Ryback will defend his title against former champion Tyler Breeze who has demanded his title rematch immediately tonight!
1. Ricochet beat his tag team partner Rich Swann in 7:20 with the Benadryller in tonight's opener; Ricochet blamed his partner Swann for his loss to the Uhaa Nation in the ZG Championship match at Fight Night and attacked him after the match that night setting up tonight's match; Ricochet snatched the mike off Rene Young after the match and declared that the Inner City Machine Guns was done! Riochet has always been about the singles glory anyway and he will prove himself the best pound-for-pound wrestler in Windy City! He demanded another match against Rockstar Spud (who interfered in the Fight Night match after Ricochet had attacked him after his win over Swann on the pre-show of FN). Ricochet said he thought Spud would have learned his lesson by now, but he'll teach him the hard way again not to stick his nose in his business.
2. Sugar Dunkerton beat Ace Darling with the Grand Slam Dunk in 5:10; good win for Dunkerton as he continues his impressive showings building on his good performance against John Cena at Fight Night.
*We are backstage with The Family prior to The Briscoes non-title match against former champs The Usos tonight. Luke Harper isn't happy and is blaming the rest of The Family for not keeping the family together at Fight Night and allowing Serena Deeb to leave. Harper says if the Family can't stay together then they should follow their own path. Jay Briscoe they are family and they will always have that bond, but if Harper wants to go it alone and find himself then good luck to him. Jay says that he and Mark have a seperate agenda anyway, because they plan to defeat The Usos once again tonight and prove that they deserve a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles at Fall Brawl!*
3. Windy City Tag Team Champions The Briscoes defeat former champions The Usos when Jay Briscoe pins Jimmy Uso in 10:35 with the Jay Driller; Big win for The Briscoes and Mark & Jay immediate get on the mike and in their southern trash mouth style straight up challenge reigning NWA World Tag Team Champions The Pistols to a title match at the NWA Pay-Per-View Fall Brawl; Zeb Colter was shown backstage watching the match on the monitors. Colter has been scouting tag-teams for the last few weeks now Booker T noticies.
4. Hardcore Holly defeated D-Lo-Brown in 7:27 with the Alabama Slam in the last Quarter-Final of the Masters Championship Tournament; RVD came out and announced that the semi-final matches are now set and will take place over the next two SNL's with the final at the next Fight Night.
The first semi-final will see french-canadian Pierre Carl Ouellett verses the Japanese buzzsaw Tajiri; and The One Billy Gunn will battle Hardcore Holly in what is sure to be a knock down drag out! But that's not all folks, as RVD announces that the tournament final at Fight Night will have a special guest referee, and that man's name is the one and only, Jerry "The King" Lawler!
5. Paige beat old rival Gail Kim in 8:20 with the PTO; Paige says congrats to Charlotte on defeating Karma at Fight Night, Paige was biding her time to take on Kharma but Charlotte pushed ahead in line and got lucky, so well done her. Paige says she's a two-time Womens Champion here in Chicago and has record setting reigns that no other woman can rival in the entire NWA. Paige says it's about time she looked outside of this small pool in Chicago and became the big fish. Paige challenges the punk rock rag doll, Heidi Lovelace to face her at Fall Brawl and she will make her live up to her name and Lovelace will be her own personal rag doll, her bitch. Then she will take her title in her own backyard, because wherever she is, this is her house!
*Paul Heyman cuts an intense, fiery promo in the ring with his Paradigm Shift members Neville, Curtis Axel and Kyle O'Reilly. Heyman says that what happened at Fight Night cannot be allowed to happen again. Heyman's charges went 0-3 on that show and that was an embarassment to him. Heyman starts off at Curtis Axel and Kyle O'Reilly and publically ran them down for losing there tag team championship match against The Briscoes. Heyman says that next week they had better improve because they will be facing sometimes associates of his, The Young Bucks! Also, Neville, Heyman ran him down for dropping a non-title three way to rookies Will Ferrera and Andrew Everett asking what in the world is happening when the best in the world Adrian Neville loses to Will "The Hype" Ferrera? Next week Neville will face off against Andrew Everett in singles action and he truly hopes he will see a marked improvement...
6. Ryback, the new Cyber TV Champion downed Tyler Breeze in an immediate rematch from Fight Night in 3:03; Ryback makes his first title defense and makes even quicker work of Breeze than he did at Fight Night winning in impressive fashion.
*A pre-taped airs from Adam Cole. Cole says that he's already showed Kevin Owens what he can do when he out-pointed him and got the decision victory on the last SNL. And at Fight Night, Fin Balor got showed what he can go when Cole cost Balor his chance of winning the title from Owens. But this is just the start, just a taster of what Adam Cole is all about for both men. Adam Cole will become the King of Chicago and challenges Kevin Owens to a title match at the next Fight Night. At Fight Night it won't be a points decision win, he won't allow Owens that - it will be a decisive, clear cut and bloody victory for Adam Cole!*
7. Main-Event: "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters defeats Bad News Barrett with the Master-Brain, his Brainbuster variant in 15:24 in a back and forth battle; Masters was attacked by The Cenation after the match as John Cena came out and instructed his charges War Machine to attack Chris Masters. Cena got on the mike and said he pulled War Machine off Masters carcass the last time they fought, but his hounds have the smell of blood on their hands and he can't hold them back so he's letting them loose. War Machine, Raymond Rowe and Hanson attack Masters and they are joined by Bad News Barrett who looks like he has joined forces with the Cenation! This beat down continues for a while until DAMIEN SANDOW slides into the ring from the crowd and taking War Machine by surprise sends them over the top rope saving Masters.
Cole & Booker T on coms wonder what Damien Sandow is doing here in Windy City as the show comes to a close and the credits roll.
Post-show Bonus Dark match;
Match not aired on TV or via the web, may or may not follow current story-lines.
Cedric Alexander defeated Shane Hollister with a Back Suplex Side Slam in 8:20
