Web-Exclusive Pre-Show Match;
Cody Hall defeated Ace Darling on the pre-show after last week dispatching of a man Darling knows very well in Devon Storm, the 6'8" big man and son of the legend Scott Hall, hits a big chokeslam for the win in 3:49. Hall isn't done though as he lifts up Darling and hits him with another big Chokeslam. Just as Hall is about to hit Darling with yet another chokeslam, Devon Storm runs out from the back and manages to make the save.
Show opens with Michael Cole and Booker T telling fans we are now 4.0 weeks away from the next Fight Night TV special, Owens verses Cole. Two matches have been signed so far, with the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Adrian Neville putting his championship on the line against the upstart rookie Will "The Hype" Ferrera. And in the main-event, Windy City Champion Kevin "KO" Owens will put his belt up for grabs against a man making alot of waves recently in Chicago, the self proclaimed "New King of Chicago" Adam Cole. But onto tonight's action, Adrian Neville will compete in non-title action against Ferrera's friend Andrew Everett, Kevin Owens will take on the former Cyber TV Champion Tyler Breeze who is looking to hot-shot himself up the rankings and in the main-event Adam Cole will take on Owens friend, Sami Zayn!
1. Rockstar Spud pinned Ricochet with a Five Star Spud Splash in 7:20 to kick things off on SNL in somewhat of an upset. Spud shocks Ricochet to gain some revenge for his two previous losses to Ricochet and the beatdown he took from him on the last Fight Night. Ricochet beat Spud for the NWA World Junior Title way back in 2013 and then controversially took their rematch earlier this year, but tonight Spud was the man victorious and Ricochet was not at all happy!
2. Kharma beat Paige by DQ in 0:29. A battle of the former Women's Champions here with the current champ Charlotte at ringside on commentary for this match. Paige had no intentions of facing off straight up against Kharma who had beaten her convincingly for the championship a few months ago, and immediately nailed Kharma flush in the face with a pimped-up, bejazzled & sparkly knuckle-duster right infront of the ref. Paige grabbed a mike from Rene Young at ringside and told Charlotte that she's just keeping the belt warm for the two-times Women's Champion because 'this is her house!'. She said right now she's got bigger aspirations and NWA World Women's Champion Heidi Lovelace had better watch her back because Paige is not playing games and she will dethrone her for the belt at Fall Brawl. Paige continued with her rhetoric running down Charlotte saying she's just a female Ric Flair copycat. The Women's Champ had enough and charged the ring, and Paige and Charlotte go at it. Kharma though, bleeding from the forehead, is back up and she is MAD! Kharma tosses Paige out of the ring, she scampers to her feet and starts to leave as Kharma grabs ahold of Charlotte and nails her with an Implant Buster.
3. Sugar Dunkerton wins a three-way dance also involving Cedric Alexander & ZG Champion Uhaa Nation, when Dunkerton pins Alexander in the non title match with the Grand Slam Dunk in 8:20. This was a very good three-way dance match and all three men looked good but Dunkerton got a win in a match involving the ZG Champion, so he must now be a top contender for that belt.
4. Ryback defeated Shane Hollister in 2:45 to retain the Cyber TV Championship, after the match Ryback was attacked by former member of The Family, Luke Harper! Harper nailed Ryback with a big discus lariat which took down the big man for the moment. Harper leaves the ring and motions that he's coming for the Cyber TV Championship! Has Ryback met his match here with a tough contender in Luke Harper?!
5. Adrian Neville w/Paul Heyman defeated Andrew Everett w/Will Ferrera in 9:02 with the Red Arrow in non-title action. An excellent match and Everett pushed Neville all the way but the champ just had that experience edge and at this moment that extra class. Ferrera went to console Everett after the match, but Andrew just brushed past Will obviously frustrated with the loss. Ferrera though will get his shot at the championship at Fight Night.
*Backstage we see Paul Heyman with Paradigm Shift, Adrian Neville, Kyle O'Reilly and Curtis Axel. Heyman is in a better mood than last week with Neville already improving upon his recent results with a win tonight. Heyman tells Axel & O'Reilly that next week will be their turn as they will face off against his acquaintances The Young Bucks and The Briscoe Brothers in a three-way tag team match. If his team or the Bucks manage to beat The Briscoes they will earn a tag team championship match at Fight Night!
6. The Japanese buzzsaw Tajiri defeated Pierre Carl Ouellett in a wild Masters Tournament Semi-Final match to progress to the final at Fight Night. Ourlett missed a Cannonball attempt and Tajiri right away connected with a Buzzsaw Kick and that was enough to score the three count in 5:48. Tajiri will meet the winner of the second semi-final between Hardcore Holly and Billy Gunn which will take place on the next episode of SNL, with the final at Fight Night to be special ref'd by Jerry "The King" Lawler!
*Pre-match we have a promo with Damien Sandow. Sandow explained his actions for last week saying "his name is Damien Sandow and he's here to help Chris Masters. As his intellectual savior, he can no longer stand idly-by and watch Masters bash his head against a brick wall and plunge further into his own inadequacies and short-comings, when with a little forward planning he would successful in his en-devours against The Cenation. Hence-forth, right here tonight on this very serial, I will get the opportunity to team with Chris Masters against The War Machine of the Cenation and try to rid the WCPW of it's most offensive ignoramus, John Cena and the rest of his delinquent crew! John Cena's hypocrisies hold no bounds! From his silly hand gestures to his incessant need to pally up with plebeians like Bad News Barrett. The Cenation are a disease that must be purged from Windy City, and for that we need a plan, and I AM that man with the plan. I am the Intellectual Saviour, I am the brains and Chris Masters is the brawn, and together, myself and Chris Masters are the Intellectual Masterpieces! Your welcome!"
7. The Intellectual Masterpieces (Chris Masters & Damien Sandow) defeat War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe) in 10:12 when Sandow pinned Hanson with the Your Welcome Full Nelson Slam; Post-match they was attacked by John Cena and Bad News Barrett who looks like he has joined the Cenation! Cena and Barrett manage to get ontop with the help of War Machine and Bad News has a wry smile as he shakes hands with John Cena to boo's from the anti-Cena Chicago crowd; Match was also scouted backstage by Zeb Colter as he continues to scout various tag teams in Windy City.
8. Windy City Champion Kevin Owens bests Tyler Breeze with the Pop-Up Powerbomb in 8:29 in non-title action as Owens put's away the former Cyber TV Champion Breeze who was hoping to hot-shot the rankings with a win here tonight. After the match Adam Cole came out and told Kevin Owens to stick around and watch him destroy his friend Sami Zayn in tonight's main-event.
9. Main-Event: "King of Chicago" Adam Cole defeats Sami Zayn with the Corna Crash in 12:18 in a quality main-event. Both men where very even in terms of skill and ability but Cole tonight had the added drive and determination with his title shot upcoming and he managed to score the pinfall over Zayn after nailing him with a chair shot behind the ref's back. Cole then got on the mike and told a observing Kevin Owens to "watch this", as he sets Zayn's ankle up in a chair and scaling the top rope, came crashing down onto Zayn's ankle with a stomp. Owens didn't move surprisingly so, as Cole set Zayn up for another stomp from the top rope onto his ankle wrapped in the chair. Owens is emotionless as he watches on, Cole goes to scale the top rope but out from the back sprints Fin Balor! Balor runs the apron and dropkicks Cole off the tunbuckle! Balor looks disgusted in Kevin Owens as the credits start to roll.
Post-show Bonus Dark match;
Match not aired on TV or via the web, may or may not follow current story-lines.
John Cena & Fin Balor went to a 10:00 time-limit in a non-title match with Balor getting the nod on the Judges votes with a split points decision.
