Kicking us off though, it's the second installment of Timmy Danger's new talk segment ...
The Danger Zone
Guest: Cliff Compton
Timmy Danger: "For those of you that don't know by now, my name's Timmy Danger and this is The Danger Zone! And if you didn't know, it's cause you're a straight up fool! My guest today is somebody that I know a lot about. I was after all the manager of Marcus Anthony's record near 10 month reign as OVW champion. This man could be the threat to break it because he is the holder, talking about Mr. 1859 himself ... Cliff Compton!"
'Hold Tight' plays as Compton comes out with the OVW championship thrown over a shoulder. He heads to the top rope and poses as some fans boo, some cheer. The 2 shake hands.
Timmy Danger: "Welcome Mr. Compton to The Danger Zone."
Cliff Compton: "Timmy, Timmy, please. Mr. Compton's for strict business associates. For you, it's Cliff. OVW Heavyweight champion, Cliff."
Timmy Danger: "We all saw what you did at the Saturday Night Special. The Pope Elijah Burke? Puh-lease dawg! You exposed him for the paper champion that he was, and where is he now? Who knows? Who cares! What I wanna know though is what's next for you? Or more specifically 'who's next'?"
Cliff Compton: "What, is Goldberg gonna walk out here? Haha, yeah right. Come on now. I think everybody here can agree that there isn't anybody deserving in the back of an opportunity at me or the title. I was hoping that Rage In The Cage would be the Mr. 1859 throwback, coming out party. Instead, it's looking like I'll be getting the night off. I mean I could always host the event, give people some sort of reason to still tune in."
Fans give a light pop as from the back comes Director of Authority Jim Cornette to get in the ring.
Cliff Compton: "Tennis anyone?"
Jim Cornette: "Haha, that's a good laugh there. Almost as good as you saying you'll be getting the night off. I don't know who you think you're fooling, but there's a lineup a mile long of guys willing to step up and challenge for that title you have."
Cliff Compton: "But Jimmy, the big question is do they deserve it? If these fans are gonna get a match, it should be somebody they think stands a chance against me. Jamin Olivencia, Rob Conway, Mike Hayes, Melvin Maximus ... not 1 of them can believably defeat me."
Jim Cornette: "Well I'd tend to differ on that, but that's neither here nor there. But if you're looking for somebody that you think stands a chance, then I've got just the right opponent for you. The reason being is that he already beat you!"
Cliff Compton: "Hold on here, hold on. Let's not go telling lies to these people now! You're saying somebody back there beat me? Come on now. Nobody in the back has beat me."
Jim Cornette: "Haha, oh how wrong you are! This man not only beat you, he did it quite recently in fact. Ladies and gentlemen, the man who will challenge Cliff Compton at Rage In The Cage ... Matt Classic!"
And with that, fans cheer as the masked wrestler heads out. Compton is upset by this as Gilbert reminds fans it was just 4 weeks ago that Matt Classic pinned Compton here on TV before he won the title. Dean says the man seems familiar.
Cliff Compton: "Cut the crap here. You, me, all these people, everybody knows what's going on! Matt Classic is a fraud, a sham. I know, you know, that right there, is Colt Cabana!"
Classic just shrugs his shoulders at the accusation, further bothering Compton.
Jim Cornette: "It could be Vince Russo under the mask for all I care! I'll take a swerve on it. What matters is that whoever it is, they pinned you, and thus are in line for a shot at that Heavyweight Title."
Cliff Compton: "No. Cabana's gone! The only reason he was here was because I needed a partner at the time. Hell, I'll say it Colt. I used you! I used you to get what I wanted, and when I didn't need you anymore, I kicked you to the curb. Get the hell out of here! This is my ring, Cabana has no contract here. There will be no match."
Jim Cornette: "Colt Cabana might not. But Matt Classic does! And on October 10 at Rage In The Cage, it will be you Cliff Compton, defending the OVW Title against Matt Classic!"
Cliff Compton: "Not if I unmask him first! I'm going to expose to the world beyond a shadow of a doubt that that man is Colt Cabana! I hope the ink hasn't dried on that contract Jimmy because this ain't over yet!"
Compton exits the ring as Classic just stands there. Cornette has a good laugh over the situation, but the champion is pissed off. The Heavyweight Title match is set for Rage In The Cage, unless of course, Compton can unmask Matt Classic first and expose him as Colt Cabana.

Ringside interview w/ James Thomas
Terry Boddie is joined by Moose. Problems in recent weeks with newcomer to the area, The King of Knoxville Shane Williams. Thomas says that he's not going to stand there while this arrogant jerk walks in and puts him down. He fought long & hard to get back to the ring after a personal battle outside the ring. That battle was bigger than any battle Williams has ever had! So what he suggests is next week, Williams put his money where his mouth is. James 'Moose' Thomas vs The King Shane Williams, 1 on 1. If he has the guts to accept that is.
Match #1
Chase Owens vs Jason Kincaid
Chase Owens defeats Jason Kincaid @ 5:48 via DQ due to outside interference. The 2 were going through a fast paced battle, exchanging their vast repertoire of signature moves. At ringside however was the still injured Jeremiah Plunkett. Or at least, so was thought. Owens hit Kincaid with a suplex, turned into a stunner. He got up, but was quickly met with a crutch to the back from Plunkett. Clearly the injury has healed! Plunkett hits Owens again with the crutch. The referee attempts to intervene as Kincaid gets up. Plunkett backs the referee into a corner, positioning himself in front to prevent any stoppage here. Kincaid picks up Owens and delivers an airplane slam, closing with asitout slam, the Rotational Driver. Owens gets up and Plunkett charges out with a big knockout punch. Gilbert says he calls that the Killshot, while Dean says he can call it whatever he wants, but Owens needs help right now.

Match #2
Solo Darling vs Jessie Belle
Jessie Belle defeats Solo Darling @ 5:31 via pinfall after the Southern Justice. After defeating Tessa Blanchard 2 weeks ago, Belle was back last week wanting to make lightning strike twice - put an end to the World Title reign of Heidi Lovelace, just like she did her previous OVW Title reign a year ago. Today, Belle had her hands full with a sugar'd up Solo, tag team partner of Lovelace in 'The Buddy System'. Despite some close calls, Belle finishes the match with her signature Gory Bomb. There is no doubt that Belle has what it takes to defeat Lovelace for a championship as she did it before, an opportunity that may come sooner over later.

Ringside interview w/ Daniel Puder
Terry Boddie is joined with the MMA expert, training with Daniels for his Fall Brawl match with CM Punk. Puder says that Daniels has had a year and a half layoff so rust is to be expected, but with another few weeks, he has little doubt he will be ready in 5 weeks time. Boddie then asks about the recent problems with Mario Bokara. Puder says the only problem he has with the man is that he is a bully. He keeps submitting these guys in a minute, but everybody needs to remember that he was doing that back in 2005 here in OVW. And as for him using the keylock last week, when Bokara has Kurt Angle tapping, then they can talk.
Match #3
TerreMex vs The Wild Boyz vs The Fabulous Freebodies
The match was declared a no contest @ 6:14 due to interference. While last week it was The Blacklist using this match as a platform to send a message, this week the interference was a bit more direct. Mexicutioner hit Body Guy with a spear and then dragged him into position. Terrez tags and heads to the top rope looking to hit the twisting corkscrew moonsault. Instead, he gets shoved off by Jake Glasure! Stuart Miles & Jade Dawson are quickly in as the Tag Team champions send the match into a no contest. Attacking anything and everything that moves, they make sure to leave all laying. Gilbert calls it a strong statement by The Congregation, while Dean calls it avoidance as they don't want a #1 contender crowned to their title because if there's no top contender, there's no match.

Match #4
King of The Valley Qualifying match
Mike Hayes vs Shiloh Jonze
Mike Hayes defeats Shiloh Jonze @ 5:50 via tap out to the Liberty Lock. After a successful return last week where he tapped Eric Locker in a 6 man tag team match, the 1 legged Iraqi war vet was back tonight against another Blacklist member, the more unstable Shiloh Jonze. Ali Vaez would make his way out to watch the match, but was left only watching as Hayes made Jonze tap out to the submission move. Hayes now joins Vaez in the King of The Valley ladder match, along with Robbie Walker, Rump Thump, and Melvin Maximus. Dean says that justice will be served as unlike last week, Hayes will finally get his hands on Vaez! Gilbert wonders though if that is somehow part of the plan of Vaez, given there was no attempt by him to prevent the outcome.

Ringside interview w/ Ali Vaez
Terry Boddie is joined by The Blacklist leader. Vaez feels that Mike Hayes should have never even had the opportunity to qualify for the match, but that's only because he was undeserving. But now he is there, watch. Let us not forget that this is a ladder match, and meanwhile Hayes has only 1 leg. Easy pickings for him to finish what he started at the Nightmare Rumble, and he will finally rid pro wrestling once and for all of the freakshow. And as for Rudy Switchblade, there's been no sign of him the last 2 weeks, a sign in itself that maybe he realized this was a fight he would never win. Stay in hiding Switchblade, for your own safety.
Match #5
Jamin Olivencia vs Dylan Bostic
Jamin Olivencia defeats Dylan Bostic @ 9:18 via pinfall after the Standing O. A breakout performance for Bostic against 1 of the top stars right now in the entire NWA, but this was Olivencia's night. Bostic was accompanied by Ray Lynn and hit the backcracker for a 2 count, but it was not enough. Olivencia would make the comeback and connect with the leaping bodyscissors into a DDT, enough for a 3 count. During the match, discussion turns to Fall Brawl and Olivencia's request that Brock Lesnar be added to the World Title match, but there is still no word on where that request stands. Danny Davis meanwhile watched on, impressed by what he saw. Perhaps not only out of Olivencia, partner for his War Games match at Rage In The Cage, but also maybe Bostic as well. Davis gets in the ring and applauds the efforts of both wrestlers.
Just then, it hits ...
Perhaps the most heart stopping moment in wrestling today. Olivencia immediately turns his attention towards the entrance as he awaits the arrival of The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. Davis turns as well, but suddenly from behind them having come from the crowd is Global Force! Jeff Jarrett, Rob Conway, and Nick Dinsmore have entered the ring, jumping the wrestlers! Conway hits Olivencia from behind as Dinsmore kicks Bostic and throws him out to the floor. The Lords of The Ring double team Olivencia while Jarrett taunts Davis. Conway hits Olivencia with the Ego Trip and he is left laying. Jarrett says to meet the first members of his War Games team - Ironman Rob Conway, Mr. Wrestling Nick Dinsmore, and himself! That's right, Jarrett will compete opposite Davis in the cage. But right now they are looking to kill off Davis' team before the match even happens. Jarrett instructs them to give Olivencia a spike piledriver.
Suddenly though, from the back. Not Brock Lesnar ...
MARCUS ANTHONY! The Strongest Gamer Alive heads out and Jarrett immediately jumps from the ring. The Lords of The Ring attempt to catch Anthony off guard. They jump him and send him into the ropes for a double clothesline, but Anthony just busts through, hits the ropes, rebounding with a double clothesline of his own. They go down and roll outside as Anthony drops to 1 knee, slamming his fist into the mat. Davis wants a mic.
Danny Davis: "Forget about somebody there Jeff? It's not 3 on 2, it's 3 on 3! Meet the future, Marcus Anthony!"
Jeff Jarrett and his team are left scrambling on the outside. An unexpected turn of events here as Anthony makes his first appearance since the August 1 Saturday Night Special. After a nearly 2 month layoff, Anthony is back and representing OVW as he will fight alongside Danny Davis and reform his Mega Powers like partnership with Jamin Olivencia in War Games. That makes 3, but who's left? How many are left?
Next week, James 'Moose' Thomas vs The King of Knoxville, Shane Williams. Leon Shelly has asked for it and he will get it, a second rematch with Mario Bokara as he looks to be the first to break the minute barrier. All that and a whole lot more. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until next week.
Websclusive match #1
Rebel defeats Mandy Leon @ 5:10 via pinfall after the split legged legdrop. The femme fatales are in action here with an important match. With Jessie Belle having locked in on World champion Heidi Lovelace, the rest of the women here in OVW scramble for the next opportunity at Women's champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe. The win here by Rebel could be the start of her positioning herself for a championship opportunity.
Websclusive match #2
King of The Valley Qualifying match
Raul Lamotta defeats Jon Ramser @ 5:26 via pinfall, using a rollup with his own feet on the ropes. The underdog favorite Ram Jam almost pulls off another upset as he almost gets into the coveted ladder match, but it is the more experience Rudo that steals the final spot. The King of The Valley is now complete at 6 with Lamotta, Rump Thump, Robbie Walker, Melvin Maximus, Ali Vaez, and Mike Hayes. 1 will climb the ladder and retrieve a contract for a guaranteed shot at the OVW Title whenever they want.
