Web-Exclusive Pre-Show Match;
Cody Hall defeated Cody 45 w/Alexia Nicole on the pre-show, with Hall picking up an easy win with a big chokeslam in 2:49. Following his M.O from the last few weeks Hall isn't done though as he lifts up Cody 45 and hits him with another big Chokeslam. Just as Hall is about to hit Cody with yet another chokeslam, Devon Storm AND Ace Darling runs out from the back and manages to make the save. Darling and Storm who have both been victims of Hall recently manage to fluster him and drag out the rookie Cody 45 who we haven't seen in Chicago for a few months and might not see him for another few months after this assault. Hall is angry and going mental in the ring as Storm and Darling leave helping Cody 45 to the back.
Show opens with Michael Cole and Booker T telling fans we are now 2.0 weeks away from the next Fight Night TV special, Owens verses Cole. This is the go-home show to the big-event and anything can happen. We learn that after Adam Cole tried to break Sami Zayn's ankle last week, but was saved by Fin Balor as his supposed friend the Windy City Heavyweight Champion Kevin Owens just looked on not helping - that Zayn has been ruled out of action for 4 weeks, but it would have been alot worse if not for Balor. Speaking of which tonight's big-main-event has been signed as Fin Balor will take on the man who will challenge Kevin Owens for the strap at Fight Night, Adam Cole in one-on-one action!
1. Luke Harper beats "The Legendary" Heath Slater with a Discus Lariat in 4:49 as Harper beats the former Cyber TV title challenger Slater, a man that Ryback, the current champion who Harper attacked last week knows very well. Ryback sprints down to the ring after the fall and gets in Harpers face. The two push and shove and then start trading big blows, Ryback gets the advantage and slings Harper into the ropes and readies for a big meat-hook lariat but Harper clings to the top rope and managed to drag himself out of the ring and out of harms way. Harper does his weird stare and and motions around his waist that he will soon be the Cyber TV Champion.
*Backstage we see Rockstar Spud, dressed in an outlandish garb. He is approached by an angry Ricochet. Ricochet tells Spud that he's always had the better of him in any of the matches they've ever had. He beat him for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title in 2013 and he beat him this summer in Chicago in their big rematch. Last week, was just a FLUKE! Spud informs him that he'll prove the win last week was not luck, and he will repeat the result at Fight Night! Spud says he wants to get his hands on Ricochet tonight as well, so grab a tag team partner and we'll have a little warm-up to Fight Night tonight!
2. Charlotte beat Alexia Nicole with the Figure-Eight Leglock in 4:29 in non-title action, the Women's Champion looking in good form. Alexia was without her man Cody 45 who was attacked by Cody Hall earlier tonight on the pre-show, and it is announced during the bout that Cody Hall will take on the men that saved him, and have been victims themselves recently the veterans Ace Darling and Devon Storm in handicap match action!; After the match Charlotte was attacked by former champion Kharma and hit with yet another Implant Buster to follow up from the last SNL; Cole announces on Coms that Charlotte will defend her title against former champ Kharma at Fight Night.
*Paige is seen on the monitors finishing watching the Women's match, before holding up her hand and waving it away as if to say she's above that level now. She says she's a Two-Time-Long-Time Women's Champion in Chicago and it's about time she got her fair shot as the NWA is "Her House!". Paige says she's been calling out the NWA World's Women's Champ Heidi Lovelace the last few weeks but has had no response. The level of disrespect is shocking, says Paige. Lovelace had better not be too focussed on low-level ring rats like Jessie Belle, and had better show some awareness and concentrate on her, because soon it will be official that Paige will be getting her title shot at the NWA Pay-Per-View, Fall Brawl!
3. Rockstar Spud & Trevor Lee defeated Ricochet & Kenny Omega in a very closely contested affair in 8:47 when the debuting Trevor Lee pined Ricochet with a shock sunset flip to gain the out of nowhere victory for Spud and Lee. Ricochet has now lost two falls in succession to Rockstar Spud on the last SNL in singles action and tonight to Trevor Lee. He will get the chance to redeem himself at Fight Night when he takes on Rockstar Spud once again.
4. The Pistols (Elgin & Bennett) defeat Dan Lawrence & Marcus Krane in 5:39 in non-title action; The NWA World Tag Team Champions pick up a win here in Chicago; The Pistols decide to stay at ringside to watch the next match, as in a match signed on the SNL, the winner of Paradigm Shift (Axel & O'Reilly), The Young Bucks & The Briscoes will gain an NWA World Tag Team Title match at Fight Night.
5. The Briscoe Brothers (Mark & Jay) defeat Paradigm Shift (Axel & O'Reilly) w/Paul Heyman & The Young Bucks in 9:28 when Jay Briscoe pinned Curtis Axel with the Jay Driller, after a mix-up between Heyman-led the Paradigm Shift and Heyman-Associates The Young Bucks. Heyman was not a happy-bunny and stormed off screaming that either Axel & O'Reilly or The Young Bucks are to blame here, but one of them definitely is, and they will compete at Fight Night with the winning team retaining his much vaunted services and the losing team cast aside on the scrap heap; This match was scouted by Zeb Colter as he continues his monitoring of the tag teams in Chicago. He must be close to choosing a team to offer his services too now?
The Briscoes now gain an NWA World Tag Team Title match against The Pistols at Fight Night. The Pistols get in the ring and square up to The Briscoes. The Briscoes hold up their Windy City Tag Team Championship Belts towards The Pistols, as The Pistols hold up their World Tag Team belts in response. That is going to be a cracker of a match for the tag team titles!
6. Uhaa Nation defeats Cedric Alexander with the Uhaa Combination in 7:20; Nation grabs the mike and is short and sweet in saying that Sugar Dunkerton impressed him in taking John Cena to the limit at the last Fight Night, and in winning the triple threat match with him and Cedric last SNL. So he's going to give Sugar Dunkerton the chance of becoming the ZG Champion at Fight Night! Sugar Dunkerton comes out to a good pop from the crowd, and nod's towards Uhaa. Another top match signed for Fight Night!
7. Will "The Hype" Ferrera w/Andrew Everett downs Scotty Too Hotty with a Diving Crossbody to pick up the win over the Vet as Ferrera tunes up for his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title shot against Adrian Neville at Fight Night. Booker T questioned Ferrera's experience level but he answered those with a win over the super experienced Scotty tonight.
8. Damien Sandow w/Chris Masters went to a no-contest with Bad News Barrett w/John Cena & War Machine in 3:29. The Cenation jumped in to spoil this match before it really got going. Cue, Rob Van Dam, the Chief of Staff. RVD announces that the team of the Intellectual Masterpieces, Damien Sandow and Chris Masters will face off against the team of NWA North American Champion John Cena and Bad News Barrett - with a shot at the Windy City Tag Team Championships on the line for the winner - AND the Cenation are BANNED from ringside at Fight Night - so War Machine, and anybody else John Cena was planning on bringing in will not be able to help him come Fight Night.
9. "The One" Billy Gunn bested Hardcore Holly in 12:24 in a rough, tough, stiff bout between the two veterans in what was the last Semi-Final of the Masters Tournament. Gunn finally put Hardore away with the Fame Asser and will go on to face "The Japansese Buzzsaw" Tajiri in the Masters Tournament Final at Fight Night for the inagural Masters Championship, in a bout that will be Special Ref'd by the one and only Jerry "The King" Lawler.
*A special vignette airs showing glimpses of some dark and disturbing imagery of people dependent on drugs and alcohol, and showing the crimes and results of what it can lead too with rapid fire images. We see a Phoenix rising slowly from the burning flames, as the disturbing images begin to fade out. Now we see the Phoenix coming straight out of the flames right towards the camera, it's eyes looking dead into the camera almost. The images suddenly stops, and the text "JEFF HARDY RISES FROM THE ASHES" flashes to an AMAZING POP from the crowd. Michael Cole and Booker T go batshit insane on commentary, asking if this is true, is the former PERSONAL DEMONS, JEFF HARDY coming to Chicago?!
10. Main-Event: Fin Balor defeats "King of Chicago" Adam Cole with the Diving Double Foot Stomp in 15:24 after Champion Kevin Owens had taken advantage of a moment when both men where down to nail Cole with the a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Anware, Balor got to his feet and followed up for the big win over Cole who will challenge Owens for the championship at Fight Night. Owens backs off to a mixed response from the fans as Cole get's to his feet visibly pissed. Balor celebrates the win though to a great ovation and he himself will be an interested spectator during the title matchup after this win.
Post-show Bonus Dark match;
Match not aired on TV or via the web, may or may not follow current story-lines.
Cyber TV Champion Ryback defeated NWA North American Champ John Cena, NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champ Adrian Neville and Windy City Champ Kevin Owens in a "Battle-of-The-Champions fatal four-way special" bonus non-title match to be released on DVD later in the year when he pinned John Cena after a Shell-Shock in 15:20.
