LIVE ON PAY-PER-VIEW
FROM FREEDOM HALL
IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY
ON OCTOBER 25, 2015
After a video package, featuring short clips of the stars in action to give some hype and a preview of what is to come, Mauro Ranallo and Josh Barnett are at ringside for the call of the action tonight.
Mauro Ranallo: The road to Fall Brawl is over as we are live from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. Tonight, all NWA championships will be on the line, including a big triple threat match in the main event when World Heavyweight champion AJ Styles will have his work cut out for him against not only Jamin Olivencia, but also Brock Lesnar.
Josh Barnett: And speaking of Lesnar, a former UFC World champion, we also look to maybe a future UFC World champion. CM Punk enters the ring to compete in an unsanctioned 60 minute Ironman match with his opponent returning for the first time in 21 months, former NWA World champion, Christopher Daniels. And should Punk win, Daniels must publicly admit that Punk is the better man.
Mauro Ranallo: Also here, two wrestlers that got early starts in this area compete over the North American Title. John Cena, once known as The Prototype, defends against Ironman Rob Conway. An 18 year veteran of the rings, Conway has never won a title on this level and it might be now or never when that bell rings for him.
Josh Barnett: And then you have my favorite, the women of wrestling, and I don't mean WOW. Heidi Lovelace defends the World Title against Paige in a battle of 2 less than traditional girl next doors. I don't think anybody would confuse them for divas.
Mauro Ranallo: Plus the Tag Team Title is at stake. Michael Elgin & Brian Cage won the belts just 3 months ago, but tonight they face their biggest and what might prove to be their final test in the form of The Briscoes. But fast paced action will kick us off as the World Junior Heavyweight championship is on the line. It's Neville, it's Chase Owens, and it's now!
NWA World Junior Heavyweight championship match

Champion Neville | Challenger Chase Owens |
Since unseating Daniel Bryan for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight championship back in April at the Uncensored PPV in April, Neville has took on all challengers, including a successful defense over challenger Jay Lethal in July at Summerslam. Tonight's challenge comes from Chase Owens, earning the #1 contendership with a victory in an Ultimate X match over Jason Kincaid at OVW's Saturday Night Special 3 weeks ago. Kicking off the night, this match should set the pace with 2 quick wrestlers that carry an immense reservoir of moves.
The match begins with a lockup that sees Owens come out with Neville's arm, twisting it. Neville though quickly reverses it. Owens then gets into a go behind, but Neville quickly rolls through into a drop down toe hold. Owens gets to the ropes and both wrestlers stand after the quick exchange. A second lockup follows that sees Neville get into a side headlock. Owens brings him back to the ropes and shoots him off, only for Neville to come back with a shoulderblock. Neville runs, going over Owens and then running under a leapfrog. Owens goes goes for a hiptoss but Neville blocks it. He instead hits Owens in the midsection and drapes a leg over the neck. Owens however flips Neville up and over to his feet, dropping him with a clothesline.
Owens picks Neville up and sends him to the ropes but Neville does a baseball slide between the legs and stands. Owens turns and takes several kicks to the legs. Neville runs to the ropes and heads back, jumping up into a hurricanrana that flips Owens down. Owens gets up with Neville charging in, ducking down and lifting Neville over. Neville though lands on the middle rope and springboards back at Owens with an armdrag takedown. Owens rolls outside thinking he can take a breather, but Neville charges at him and dives over the top rope with a plancha, but Owens moves to send Neville crashing to the floor.
Owens picks Neville up and rolls him in under the bottom rope. As Neville stands, Owens lifts him up and slams him down with an amateur takedown. Owens stands as Neville gets up and drops him to the mat with an STO, followed by a 2 count. Owens picks Neville up and sends him into the ropes for a hiptoss, transitioning into a neckbreaker, and another 2 count. Neville is in a bad way as Owens heads to the corner, steps up and leaps back with a 2nd rope moonsault, and another 2 count. The commentators mention that Owens can't get frustrated here and it is important that he stay on the champion.
Owens brings Neville back up, but the champion shoves Owens back. Owens hits the ropes and bounces back with Neville going for a kick. Owens catches it, but Neville leaps up to hit an enzuigiri. As the wrestlers get up, Neville runs past Owens and bounces back into him turning, hitting a flying forearm smash. Neville stands and hits a standing shooting star press with a quick cover for a close 2 count. He rolls out to the apron and waits for Owens to stand, jumping up and hitting a springboard dropkick for another 2 count. Neville picks Owens up and bends him overm liftting him up for a sitout powerbomb, but Owens manages to get behind into a sunset flip. Neville rolls through and hits a low angle dropkick on the challenger.
The end may be near as Neville has Owens in position. He heads outside and to the top rope. Red Arrow? No, instead Neville goes for a 450 splash, but Owens gets his knees up. Neville hits hard, clutching his midsection. He gets up to find Owens already up, charging into a powerslam. Owens brings Neville up and lifts him onto his shoulders. He flips Neville over as if into a Death Valley Driver, but instead hits a neckbreaker in a move Owens calls The Deal Breaker. He backs up and summons Neville up. As the champion stands, Owens charges with the Roaring Elbow but Neville ducks! The champion turns and catches Owens from behind with an inverted frankensteiner.
Owens rolls outside to regroup, but Neville steps out to the apron. He waits for Owens and then delivers an Asai moonsault. The champion would seem to have this match won as he just has to get Owens back inside. He rolls him in and then heads up to the top rope. Could this be the Red Arrow? Neville positions, but Owens quickly rolls away as he sees the move coming. Neville hops down and grabs Owens, Irish whipping across to the turnbuckle, charging in with an uppercut. He backs in and charges in again with a roundhouse kick. Neville backs up again, but Owens follows. Neville turns and charges into a waiting Owens, who drops him back first across the knee and brings him back into a reverse STO, the WBTK Driver.
Owens stands and again backs up for his finisher. As he charges though for the Roaring Elbow, Neville ducks. They both turn as Neville peppers with rights. He backs him in and shoots him across the ring. Owens holds on as Neville leapfrogs nothing. When he lands, Owens hits a textbook dropkick. Neville stands, dazed, and is greeted by Owens spinning to connect with the Roaring Elbow. Owens makes the cover ...

And just like that, a title has already changed hands. Chase Owens defeats Neville and is the new NWA World Junior Heavyweight champion! A hard fought match by both wrestlers as they leave nothing at the door in this one. The commentators call this the culmination of a long journey for Owens that has seen him rise through 2015 in Ohio Valley to become one of the premiere wrestlers in the game, now officially standing at the top of the mountain. Neville gives Owens his moment as he exits the ring and leaves, sure to get a rematch for the title when he wants it.
NWA World Tag Team championship match
VS | ||||
Champions Michael Elgin & Brian Cage | Challengers The Briscoes |
The reign for Michael Elgin & Brian Cage began at the last PPV, getting the title shot through their involvement in The Pistols faction. After winning the titles, The Pistols seemed to disolve withElgin & Cage going the separate way from the others, but this did not stop The Briscoes from their quest to regain the championship. After earning the #1 contender spot, a match between the 2 teams on the last Windy City Fight Night would end in a DQ. The Briscoes showed no regard for the rules in that match, but they will have to here if they are to leave as champions.
This match was a hard hitting affair given the 4 participants involved. After a strong start for The Briscoes, Elgin & Cage would isolate Mark Briscoe and work him over. Even the Redneck Kung Fu couldn't save him as Elgin delivered a big Elgin Bomb and covered, only drawing a 2 thanks to Jay coming in to break up the count. Cage would take the tag in and look to finish the match with the Weapon X, a Gory Special transitioned into a reverse STO. Briscoe however would free himself, and as both men turned, lift Cage up and hit the Cut Throat Driver. Both men were down though with Briscoe too punished to capitalize. Cage was able to tag Elgin, but Mark was able to also get the hot tag to Jay.
Jay Briscoe came in and showed why he is a force in wrestling as he dished it out from Elgin and took it as well. Cage would come in though and the two set him up for a double clothesline, but Jay ducked and hit a double clothesline of his own instead. Mark would come in and take care of Cage, bringing the 2 out to the floor. Jay grabbed Elgin, but got punched in the midsection. Elgin readied for another Elgin Bomb, but Jay instead got free and turned Elgin to lift him on his shoulders. Mark as ready, springboarding off the top rope into a clothesline for the Doomsday Device. Jay covers as Mark knocks Cage from the apron ...

The Briscoes have done it! New World Tag Team champions as they regain the title in this hard hitting affair. Cage pulls Elgin outside the ring as they regroup, meanwhile The Briscoes stand tall with the win and are now not only World Tag Team champions, but still the reigning Windy City Tag Team champions, holding both belts.
NWA World Women's championship match
VS | ||
Champion Heidi Lovelace | Challenger Paige |
Heidi Lovelace won the title from AJ Lee at the OVW Best In The World iPPV event back in April. Her latest challenge comes from the former Windy City Women's champion Paige, challenging her after defeating Gail Kim back in late August. Despite some words for each other, the 2 have not yet crossed paths but that is about to change with the NWA World Women's Title on the line.
The 2 have a quick paced match with Paige playing the heel role per her Windy City character. After a back and forth start to the match, Paige would get the upper hand when Lovelace Irish whipped her opponent to the corner and charged in, only for Paige to get a foot up and catch the champion. Paige would work Lovelace over and eventually hit the Paige Turner, a swinging leg hook fireman's carry slam, but only get the 2 as Lovelace kicked out. Paige would yell that it was a 3 and then yell to the champion that "this is my house!"
Maybe a mistake because Lovelace would start to make a comeback. Several high impact moves yielded 2 counts for Lovelace, including the Heidi-can-rana and The Heidi Ho, a tornado DDT into a snap suplex. With Paige down, Lovelace would go for the Shining Wizard, but Paige managed to side step it. Instead she tripped up Lovelace and got her on her back, rolling her up into a cover. The referee counts as Paige adds in a handful of tights ...

Paige is the new NWA World Women's champion as Lovelace tried to alert the referee to what went down, but it is too late. He saw nothing and Paige is now on top of the mountain. She will take the belt back to Windy City and is sure to face a plethora of challengers in the weeks and months to come. Lovelace rolls out and gets a mild applause from the hometown fans in defeat for her 6 and a half month reign.
NWA North American championship match
VS | ||
Champion John Cena | Challenger Rob Conway |
John Cena is probably the biggest odds on favorite in this event and he will need to be with every title having changed hands so far. His challenger tonight is The Ironman Rob Conway, facing the biggest opportunity of his lengthy career that started 18 years ago in 1997. National gold has eluded him, but he has seen an upswing this year. While the goal was a shot at the NWA World Title, this opportunity at Cena and the NWA North American Title is not lost on him. A win here would be by far the biggest of Conway's career.
Cena is, as usual, a favorite here in Louisville. Conway's recent jump to the failed Global Force Wrestling faction has turned him into a heel. That said, with Cena's ability to split a crowd and Conway maybe being a sentimental favorite with some fans, who they side with once the action gets going is anybody's guess.
The match starts very much in that tone. Dueling Cena-Conway chants before a lockup that end with Cena exiting the ring to remove his arm band and give it to a child, the commentators explaining the kid is here as part of the "Make A Wish" foundation. Cena goes back in as Conway goes out and snatches it away. He seems dumbfounded that the kid could like Cena, but the champion comes from behind and turns Conway into a big right hand. Conway falls back as Cena picks up the band and gives it back to the child. Conway rolls in as Cena follows and the action begins.
Conway gets up as Cena puts on a side headlock. Conway sends him off into the ropes for a shoulderblock, taking Cena down. Conway runs the ropes going over Cena and under a leapfrog before running into a hiptoss. Conway pops up and takes a bodyslam. Conway pops up again into the corner where Cena meets him for an Irish whip across the ring. Conway goes in hard as Cena charges in. Conway moves and as Cena hits, he catches him from behind with a neckbreaker. Conway turns and starts choking Cena before getting up and posturing for the fans. As Cena gets up, Conway hits a couple rights before a kick to the midsection. He backs up and charges back in with a high knee.
With Cena down, Conway takes to rare territory, going up top. Cena however is up and catches Conway, instead slamming him off. Conway gets up as Cena hits the ropes to grab Conway with a one handed bulldog into the mat. Cena covers, but only gets a 2. As they get up, Cena picks up the challenger and delivers a spin-out powerbomb, good only for another 2. It will take a lot to put Conway away from this opportunity. Cena picks Conway up and fires him to the ropes, dropping the head, but too early as Conway instead kicks him in the face. Cena looks up and eats a clothesline. Conway brings him up and delivers a DDT, followed by a 2 count. Conway then goes to a sleeper.
Cena is going out, but a mix of "Let's go Cena - Cena sucks" starts bringing him back to life. He gets up and fires elbows to free himself. Cena then hits a right and another. He backs up and charges into a kick from the midsection. Conway follows that up with hitting the ropes and hitting a jumping leg lariat. The referee counts, but only a 2. Conway picks Cena up as he simultaneously yells at the referee that it was a 3. Conway goes to throw Cena into the ropes, but he reverses it. Cena catches Conway with a spinebuster slam. He gets up and stands at Conway's head, giving the fans a military salute. He hits the ropes, jumps across ... 5 Knuckle Shuffle! Conway takes it and gets up, dazed, turning into Cena's arms, lifting him up and nailing him with the Attitude Adjustment! Cena covers ...

Conway kicks out and Cena can't believe it! He holds up 3 fingers as he looks to the fans, questioning it. Regardless, he picks Conway back up. He lifts him up again for a second A.A., but Conway knees Cena in the head a couple times and frees himself. He drops behind the champion and pushes him into the ropes. Cena bounces back as Conway catches him with an inverted atomic drop. Cena sells it and turns before turning back to run at Conway in a quick powerslam. They get up and Conway hooks Cena up, lifting him in a suplex, but dropping his feet on the top rope. Conway then spins, hitting a whiplash on the champion. The signature Ego Trip has been delivered and Conway covers ...

Cena gets a shoulder up! Conway has to be wondering what it will take. He brings Cena up and hits a couple rights, and then lifts Cena up onto his shoulders. Is Conway going to hit the A.A.?!? He looks to flip Cena over, but the champion manages to land on his feet. Conway charges with a clothesline, but Cena ducks it and runs. He jumps to the middle rope and springboards back as Conway turns into the stunner! Conway goes down and pops back up into Cena's waiting arms. He lifts The Ironman up and hits a second Attitude Adjustment! Cena covers ...

The dream is over! Cena wins and retains the North American championship in a hard fought victory over Conway. A near year long mission to win NWA gold comes crashing down to earth for him. Cena celebrates the win before leaving the ring. Conway stands alone, an 18 year career that started in Louisville, and could it be ending tonight in Louisville? The fans turn to an ovation of Conway, who acknowledges it. All too quickly though he flips the fans off and rolls out of the ring. The commentators mention that it looks like Conway isn't going anywhere any time soon and will be back shortly in an OVW ring. Clearly not endearing himself to fans, but he also clearly doesn't care.

Daniels | CM Punk |
This feud began in early 2014 when Daniels was still competing and current NWA World champion. CM Punk was a top contender, but Daniels would retire as champion before Punk could get that 1 on 1 shot. Punk would taunt Daniels for months, an obsession even. When Punk won the OVW Title and intended to walk out on the company, he offered Daniels the chance to redeem the company and win the title back. When Daniels refused, Punk gave him the GTS anyway. That was enough to get Daniels to accept, but Punk would make it under his terms.
Unsanctioned, as in unofficial to the NWA record books, and most falls in 60 minutes wins. Punk choosing this to try and get the best from Daniels lack of activity. Added as well is that should Punk win, Daniels must publicly admit that Punk is better than him. Maybe a mistake as it could give Daniels added motivation. With Punk's training for UFC reaching nearly a year now, Daniels enlisted the help of Daniel Puder to train until his dominant loss to Mario Bokara 2 weeks ago. Tonight will see what Puder's help did, if anything.
Fall #1
After a strong start to the match by Punk, Daniels finally begins to make a comeback. The commentators mention how the first fall might be the most important as it puts your opponent on the run rather than the driver's seat, Josh Barnett comparing it to the Round 1 in an MMA fight. Daniels kicks Punk in the midsection and sets him up for Angel's Wings. Punk however breaks free and instead hooks the legs, scooping them out to land Daniels on his back. Punk repositions and leans back to slingshot Daniels into the corner. Daniels hits hard as Punk gets up and Daniels stumbles back dazed. He turns into Punk lifting him up onto his shoulders. Punk then pushes Daniels up and drives him into the knee, hitting the Go To Sleep. Punk covers and picks up that ever so important 3 count for the first fall.
CM Punk defeats Daniels @ 13:28 via pinfall after the GTS.
Score: CM Punk 1 - Daniels 0
Fall #2
With Punk taking that first fall, maybe earlier than expected, maybe not given Daniels run of inactivity, whatever the case it gives him an important edge. He does not let up on Daniels after that as he spends much of the second fall wearing him down. Call it a display of MMA technique, Daniels looks like he is being schooled in that ring. Daniels would manage a brief flurry of offense, but coming off the top rope, would get caught with a roundhouse kick from Punk. He quickly goes to the mat and locks in the Anaconda Vise onto Daniels. Daniels is reaching for the ropes as he tries to avoid a tap out. Punk going up 2-0 would be huge, but Daniels refuses to allow that. He reaches out but just then Punk rolls them back to center ring. Daniels taps! Ranallo puts over the 2-0 lead, but Barnett says that might have been wise - tap now, don't waste the clock trying to free yourself from a bad situation.
CM Punk defeats Daniels @ 21:50 via tap out to the Anaconda Vise.
Score: CM Punk 2 - Daniels 0
Fall #3
Daniels needs to turn this around fast, but Punk just won't allow it. We see some cheap underhanded techniques as Punk turns Daniels from the referee and drives a thumb to the eye. A bulldog is followed by Punk setting Daniels up. He heads up to the top rope and does his best Macho Man Randy Savage tribute with the flying elbow smash. He covers, but only gets a 2 count. Punk argues as Daniels starts to get up. Punk quickly puts him back down with a Shining Wizard. Punk wastes little time as he lifts Daniels back up onto his shoulders. With that, he pushes him off into the knee, hitting a second Go To Sleep. Punk covers and again, picks up a pinfall on Daniels. He is now up 3-0 and the commentators are left to wonder if this was a giant mistake by Daniels. The time away from the ring is showing as he is just not the competitor he was 2 years ago.
CM Punk defeats Daniels @ 28:46 via pinfall after the GTS.
Score: CM Punk 3 - Daniels - 0
Fall #4
After pausing to start the fourth fall, Daniels exits the ring. He seems ashamed by himself and starts to walk to the back. If this was a mistake, this is certainly lending credibility to that theory. Daniels has his hands on his hips as he starts to walk back. He hangs his head before looking up and to the crowd. Punk is arrogant in the ring as he acts like he knew this would happen or something. Daniels turns and takes another step to the back before stopping. He rips the tape from around his wrists, turns and races back to the ring! He slides in under the bottom rope and the 2 stand toe to toe and while Punk is up 3-0, you would never know it from the fire being shown here!
Despite the initial flurry of offense, Punk is able to cut off Daniels. From there, he looks to the Koji Clutch and maybe just killing time. He applies it but Barnett questions how much he has it locked in. It doesn't appear that he wants the submission, but rather just to keep Daniels there, unable to move. Daniels eventually gets his feet to the ropes to draw a break. Daniels gets to his knees as Punk lays in with kicks to the arms. Finally though Daniels catches Punk's foot. He stands and spins Punk, kicking him in the midsection. From there Daniels puts in a double underhook. He lifts and spins, delivering the facebuster as the Angel's Wings connects! Daniels covers and gets the 3. Daniels gets a fall but has the do or die moment already passed for him?
Daniels defeats CM Punk @ 41:25 via pinfall after the Angel's Wings.
Score: CM Punk 3 - Daniels 1
Fall #5
Daniels will need to act quick of he is to stand any chance of making the comeback here. Punk stands back up and still seems dazed. The ref calls for the action to resume. Punk calls Daniels in, going for the takedown. Daniels blocks it and instead reverses behind him and brings him down to the mat. Punk manages to turn it into a ground and pound. His UFC skills are on display when Daniels brings the legs up and hooks Punk to bring him back into a sunset flip for a fast 2 count. As they stand, Punk kicks Daniels in the midsection. He sends him into the ropes for a kick to the midsection. He then heads out and hits a springboard clothesline that gets Daniels down for another 2 count.
Punk brings Daniels back up and lifts him into position for what would be a third GTS. Punk wastes too much time though as he doesn't capitalize. He gets cocky and when he finally pushes Daniels up, he blocks going into the knee and lands standing. He gets behind Punk and brings him up onto his shoulder into an Argentine backbreaker rack. He then goes sideways, flipping Punk into an Argentine facebuster. Daniels quickly gets to the corner with Punk in position and goes up to the middle rope, quickly up to the top - the double jump moonsault known as the Best Moonsault Ever is launched and connects! Daniels covers and gets the 3! The lead of Punk is now down to a mere 1 fall.
Daniels defeats CM Punk @ 49:06 via pinfall after The Best Moonsault Ever.
Score: CM Punk 3 - Daniels 2
Fall #6
The lead of Punk is down to a mere 1 fall. As the sixth fall gets going, Punk instead decides to roll out. Unlike Daniels earlier though, Punk is not leaving. He's simply trying to run out the clock. Barnett questions if he can do this for 10 minutes, but he is able to initially avoid Daniels as the chase ensues before Punk enters the ring and immediately exits the other side. Daniels stands in the ring, mock applauding his opponent. Punk just tells him that if Daniels has to beat him, he doesn't have to beat Daniels. Punk continues stalling before getting distracted by a fan. This gives Daniels the chance to hit the ropes and dive out and over with a plancha. He has Punk and he rolls him into the ring.
Punk begs off. Daniels just watches as Punk desperately tries to salvage this. He even offers the handshake from his knees. Daniels just laughs but Punk insists he's sincere. Daniels nods ok, takes it as Punk stands, relieved. The 2 shake hands but Daniels doesn't let go. He shakes his head no before pulling Punk in and lifting him onto his shoulders. Daniels hits the Death Valley Driver onto Punk. Daniels stands and waits for Punk to get up. He hits a running neckbreaker and covers ...

Daniels gets up first from the big move and rolls Punk back into the ring under the bottom rope, quickly following. Punk stands, dazed and takes a kick to the midsection. Daniels waits for Punk to get up and goes for the Angels Wings again. Punk though frees himself and ducks under. Daniels turns into a roundhouse kick. Punk hits a couple Muay Thai kicks and then lifts Daniels up to seat him on the top turnbuckle. Punk then goes to the top rope and preps for a big hurricanrana. He jumps up and puts on the headscissors but Daniels holds on and Punk instead just flips back to land on his feet. Daniels then hooks the arms. He stands and from the second rope, lifts Punk up into the Angels Wings. Daniels hits it! Punk is down, he is not moving. But the move took a lot out of Daniels as well. Fall #7
Despite standing little to no chance, Daniels keeps the pressure on. If he's going down in the final moments, he's going down in a blaze of glory. He mounts Punk and starts swinging wildly. He brings Punk to his feet and with mere seconds left, hooks him up and delivers the Angel's Wings! Daniels could cover, but what does it matter when there wouldn't be time for a fourth fall. Instead he picks Punk back up and puts in the double underhook. The bell rings to finish the match.
Final Score: CM Punk 4 - Daniels 2
Daniels hits the Angel's Wings! Punk is down and he is not moving. He may be the winner but he sure does not look like it here. Punk will win this 60 minute challenge, but Daniels has nothing to be ashamed of. He came close and one has to think that if Punk does not score that critical late pin, Daniels ties it and based on momentum, wins in an overtime. The commentators remind fans of the added stipulation. Punk won. That means Daniels must now publicly admit that Punk is the better man. He takes the mic as Punk lays on the mat unresponsive.
Daniels: "Well Mr. UFC. Mr. Straight Edge. I don't know if you can ever hear me right now, but allow me to offer my congratulations. You win, you are the better man? Again, congratulations."
Daniels drops the mic and begins applauding. He may have lost this, but you'd never know it right now. Barnett says that no matter what the result says, Daniels wins this on class. Ranallo questions the sincerity of Daniels admission that Punk is better, but Barnett reminds us of the months, years even of talk from Punk's mouth. He may have won this, but with this as the final scene, you can be sure you'll never hear another word of it. Let him go off to the UFC, and who knows, maybe Punk will show some guts and put on the weight to fight him in heavyweight? Not likely.

Champion AJ Styles | Challenger Jamin Olivencia | Challenger Brock Lesnar |
The road to the main event began back in May when Jamin Olivencia announced his intention to challenge AJ Styles for the World Title. Jeff Jarrett approached Olivencia with the offer of an instant shot should he join his upstart Global Force Wrestling, but Olivencia declined deciding to instead get the shot the old fashion way. When the title match did take place, Jarrett's interference as retaliation for Olivencia refusing him led to a DQ. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Brock Lesnar was able to defeat Styles in a non title match. After Olivencia defeated Rob Conway at the September Saturday Night Special, he was named the challenger for Fall Brawl.
In stepped Lesnar to OVW. After giving the F5 to Olivencia, the challenger demanded Lesnar be added to the main event. Lesnar would cut a deal with Danny Davis, putting himself into the match and giving Davis a 5th man for his War Games team 2 weeks ago at Rage In The Cage. Lesnar would help Davis win, but not before taking Olivencia out. Styles meanwhile made his stance clear on the most recent OVW TV, leading to all 3 mixing it up. Lesnar again would stand tall there, being the odds on favorite to emerge from tonight as the new champion.
The match gets started with Olivencia and Styles cautious with Lesnar. Styles finally tries to reason with Olivencia that they need to work together as Lesnar leans back on the ropes chuckling. Styles gets behind Olivencia and taps him to go get him and immediately exits the ring. Olivencia turns to him, but Styles just reiterates he can do this. Lesnar's had enough of this and grabs Olivencia from behind at the waste. German Suplex! He wastes little time but quickly redirects his attention to Styles. He leaves the ring and the champion backs up, and backs up some more. He finally slides into the ring with his back to Olivencia. Olivencia quickly school boys Styles ...

Styles kicks out in what was almost the quickest title change in history. Lesnar gets in as the 2 wrestlers pop up and immediately charges in for a take down on Styles. Olivencia jumps on Lesnar's back and starts driving in forearms but Lesnar stands and flips him over to the mat with ease. Styles gets up as Lesnar knees him several times to back him into the corner before throwing him out to the middle of the ring. He grabs Olivencia and starts driving the meat hooks in. Several shots to the mid section in the corner. In the background though, Styles is up. Lesnar turns and Styles charges, leaping, but Lesnar moves and Styles hits Olivencia with a leaping forearm smash instead. From there, Lesnar hooks in Styles from behind and ... German Suplex! This match is all Lesnar early on.
Lesnar grabs Olivencia and suplexes him to the mat. Styles rolls back out to the floor. Lesnar watches as he just waves this off, wanting nothing to do with the match. He goes to the table and grabs the World Title belt. What is this? He's leaving?! Lesnar smirks before exiting and grabbing Styles in the aisle. He asks him where he's going and brings him back to the ringside area, driving him back first into the ring. Lesnar grabs Styles, but looks up as Olivencia hits the ropes in the ring and charges out, leaping over the top rope with a dive that takes both men out.
