NWA Main Event 12/14/15 Showcase

The show starts immediately with NWA Women’s champion, Paige in the middle of the ring soaking in the excited fans that have packed into the Hammerstein ballroom! Before Paige can utter a word “The Beast” Brock Lesnar makes his way towards the ring looking particularly sour.
The current NWA World Heavyweight champion climbs into the ring and get’s in the face of Paige who tries to stand up to Lesnar but you can just see her legs tremble in a bit of fear. Lesnar wastes no time hoisting up Paige before planting her with an F-5! The crowd is livid as Lesnar sits beside her lifeless body grinning wickedly at his handy work.
He’s not able to revel in his evil deed long as his opponent tonight “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus books it to the ring and the two men start brawling in the middle of the ring! Sheamus is able to make some space between himself and Lesnar trying to level him with a brogue kick but the champ slips out of the ring looking agitated that Sheamus would ruin his fun. Sheamus begs for Lesnar to get back into the ring but Brock tells him to go to hell before heading into the back. Medical staff attend to Paige as the opening credits finally roll.
SINGLES MATCH
The Miz vs. Samoa Joe
The Miz comes to the ring looking cocky as ever as he waits for his opponent, his demeanor changes when out comes Samoa Joe! “Joe’s gonna kill you” chants start immediately as Miz tries to cover his ears and block out the chanting of the fans. Joe doesn’t look worried at all as he places the towel that he brings with him at the base of his turn post. This is the opening Miz needed as he attacks Joe from behind hitting him over and over in the back trying to pummel the larger man! Joe shrugs off the attack of Miz pie facing him to the mat as Miz tries to call for a time out. Samoa Joe isn’t having it as he pulls Miz up by the hair looking to inflict some serious punishment. Miz takes a short cut gouging the eyes of Samoa Joe before targeting the big man’s knee. The Miz is an opportunist and takes huge advantage of the cheap opening he’s given himself. Miz tries to set up the finish with a sliding clothesline but Joe catches him and dead lifts him up hitting a huge one arm slam before stalking the dazed Miz locking in the rear naked choke forcing the submission victory.
The show cuts to backstage with Steve Corino standing with his client the current NWA Junior champion, Chase Owens. Corino let’s the fans know that Owen’s elbow is a gift from the gods. The kind of thing that makes miracles happen, and part seas with the air off the spin of the elbow strike. Tonight Adrian Neville get’s a second chance, but for him it’s a chance to relive the loss he suffered to Owens.
SINGLES MATCH
Charlotte vs. Gail Kim
These two women are extremely tough, and this match was to show just what caliber the women of NWA Main Event actually are. This was a great back and forth match with Charlotte using brutal chops, a nod to her famous father, to blister the chest of Kim. Gail is resilient though coming back with forearm shots and kicks to wear down Flair before starting on a high octane offensive flurry that forced Charlotte to take safety on the outside as Kim beckoned her back into the ring for more! Charlotte looked agitated waving off Gail’s goading as she tried to catch her breath. Kim would take to the air flying through the ropes onto Charlotte before rolling her back into the ring. Gail looks to finish the match with a moonsault but Charlotte cuts her off at the top powerbombing her in the middle of the ring, following up with the figure four leg lock to force Gail to tap out.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Dudleys(Bubba Ray & D-Von) vs. The Young Bucks(Nick & Matt Jackson)
This is a clash of the best of yesterday going against arguably one of the best teams today. The young bucks tried to poke fun at the ages of the Dudleys but Bubba didn’t find it very funny taking the fight right to Nick Jackson toying with him, Nick would tag out to his brother Matt and Bubba allowed it just to get a shot at the other Jackson. Bubba would hit some jabs on Matt before putting him on his ass after a bionic elbow! The Dudley’s looked to be in firm control until the Young Bucks started to work together, realizing that the Dudley’s are still quite the force to be reckoned with. It quickly broke down into a superkick party on the Dudley’s forcing them out of the ring as the Young Bucks showed off their death defying aerial offense taking the match outside. One the Dudley’s were able, they showed off their superior brawling skills as things broke down on the outside between the two teams. The Dudley’s were in firm control as they drug the young bucks into the crowd letting the New York faithful get an up close and personal look at the ass beatings they were handing out. The ref nearly had a double count out on his hands but the match finally spilled back into the ring as everyone started hitting their big moves on each other, when the smoke looked to clear the Dudley’s would score with a 3D on Nick Jackson to come away with the victory.
SINGLES MATCH
AJ Styles vs. Austin Aries
AJ is one of the most decorated athletes of our time, he’s a future hall of famer and none of that means a damn to Austin Aries! These guys tried to tear the place down and the crowd was loving this match up. AJ was a bit taken out of the match as he had to keep his head on a swivel after his match with Samoa Joe in NWA RoF. Austin would take full advantage trying to end the match early with the last chancery but AJ would fight free and transition into the calf killer but it was Aries turn to get out of the hold and bring the match back to square one. The match continued with both men trading holds and counters of one another with AJ eventually getting in a springboard reverse DDT that helped him get the advantage he needed. Styles would go for his Styles Clash but Aries would fight out of it like his life depended on it. Aries would fight like mad before dropping AJ on his head with a brainbuster but it wasn’t enough to put Styles away, and Aries just couldn’t believe it. Aries wanted to hit another brainbuster but Styles would knee his way out of it hitting a pele kick that stunned Austin long enough for the styles clash!
NWA WORLD JUNIOR TITLE MATCH
Adrian Neville vs. Chase Owens(c) w/ Steve Corino
This was a FALL BRAWL rematch between the former NWA Junior champion and the current. Steve Corino would come out with the champ hyping him as the man with the golden elbow. Neville had a look of determination in his eyes as he knows what it’s like to be the champion and wants to be known as the best in the world again. These two men would go hold for hold, they’ve had each other well scouted. Corino would continue to spout of bullshit on the outside trying to keep Neville’s mind off the match at hand, but Adrian was just to hungry hitting a spinning back kick to the midsection of Owens before ramping up his attack. Corino would pull Owens out of the ring keeping him safe, but Neville would try to dive out of the ring. Chase would catch him with the golden elbow that left the challenger dangling in the ropes looking knocked out. Owens would climb back into the ring trying to finish Neville off with diamond dust but Adrian would fight back countering with a backpack stunner before climbing to the top rope wanting to finish things off with the red arrow! Corino would make his presence known again distracting Neville. Owens would try to knock Neville off the top rope, but Neville would kick him away trying to dive off the top but Chase would catch him with the elbow strike putting an end to the match.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Sheamus vs. Brock Lesnar(c) w/ Jim Cornette
These two behemoths squared off in the middle of the ring going nose to nose before picking up where they left off at the beginning of the night beating the hell out of each other. It’s a slugfest with Lesnar getting the advantage after kneeing Sheamus in the gut. Sheamus already has a bloody nose from the fighting against the world’s heavyweight champion. Lesnar introduces Sheamus to suplex city with an obscene amount of release german suplexes that make Sheamus a bit loopy but he was still able to hold his own and keep in the fight. Sheamus was able to weave Lesnar through the ropes clubbing him in the chest violently for the crowd to witness. It almost immediately puts welts across his chest as both men look to be leaving this match with hardcore battle wounds. Sheamus tries to size up Lesnar for a brogue kick but Lesnar would catch Sheamus and chuck him with a suplex that sends him crashing into the ref! Lesnar realizes that there’s no rules at the moment as he goes to get a chair from ringside to punish Sheamus, but this brings out Paige. She stands up to Lesnar who looks ready to bash her with the chair but the women’s champion kicks him low, taking the chair from the champion using it on him instead! The crowd goes wild as Sheamus comes out of nowhere blasting Lesnar with a brogue kick that should have the match won, but the ref is still out! Sheamus tries to wake up the ref before going back for the cover again, but Cornette is able to get the leg of Lesnar on the rope causing the break! It’s frustrating and Sheamus is livid. Lesnar grabs onto the leg of Sheamus dragging him into a horse collar submission, stomping away on the irishman’s head in brutal fashion trying to force a submission but a woozy Sheamus gets to the ropes and tries to keep fighting but Lesnar is able to force up Sheamus planting him in the middle of the ring with an F-5!
A snarling and angry Lesnar stands over Sheamus looking to continue to assault his challenger, even after getting the victory. This draws out AJ Styles who takes the fight to Lesnar using his speed to keep the champ off center, but during the fight Samoa Joe comes out trying to exact revenge on Styles as all three men go to war with each other in the middle of the ring. It’s becoming chaos as the show fades to black.
