“Bullet in my hand” by Redlight King plays us into the first edition of Adrenaline after Breaking Point. “The voice of Impact” Joey Styles and “The Impact Intellectual” Don Callis, talk about the results of Breaking Point, and tonight’s show is going to keep that roll going with a World Junior and World Tag Team tournament match happening tonight as Christopher Daniels battles Michael Modest and LAX rages war about Act of God! But first…
TAG TEAM MATCH
BLK OUT(Ruckus & Sabian) vs. Yoshitsune & Kenny Omega
This match didn’t get going very long as The Embassy swarmed the ring with Prince Nana following behind, smiling and clapping as the Embassy picked apart Ruckus and Sabian before the rest of the BLK OUT could come to their aide. Security had to flood the ring pulling the rival factions apart with the show going to commercial while everything got sorted.
When the show comes back, David Marquez the commissioner of NWA Impact looks outraged as he speaks to the audience. “I thought I would let things go and see where it would take us, and the place it’s going is one that I don’t like. So we’re going to settle this faction war once and for all. At Uncivil War it will be the BLK OUT vs. The Embassy in a war games match up! If anyone from either team lays even a finger on anyone from the other team, they will be fired on the spot! Unless it’s in a sanctioned match approved by the national wrestling alliance!
Before Marquez could finish, Jon Moxley skulked to the ring, getting in the ring and in the face of Marquez. Moxley let everyone know that at Breaking Point he put down Roderick Stong and now he wants a shot at the NWA Impact TV title! Marquez is stunned but before he can finish a stage hand rushes into the ring, handing an urn to Marquez and whispers something into his ear before slipping out of the ring. “I have to go…” is all Marquez could utter, but Moxley wasn’t satisfied ripping the urn out of Marquez’s hands and slamming it to the mat as it’s contents pour onto the canvas. Moxley demands again and a frightened Marquez lets him have the match before fleeing from the ring.
SINGLES MATCH
Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana def. “The Young Dragon” Richie Steamboat
After the mat was cleaned up Cabana and Steamboat put on the first full length match since tonight’s show started, and it was a great match with Cabana playing the heel due to his new ruthless streak that caught everyone including Steamboat off guard, and after a back and forth match Cabana was able to snap off the Colt 45 to improve his streak in 2012 to 2! After the match Cabana would sit beside the fallen Steamboat grinning at his victory.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Impact Rockstar” Jason Hades def. Jay Lethal
Lethal looked to be a bit sore from his battle with AJ Styles at Breaking Point but that didn’t stop him from taking this match against the self proclaimed “Impact Rockstar” Jason Hades. These two guys showed why the X division is what to watch here in NWA Impact. Lethal tried a few times to hit his Lethal Injection finisher but Hades had it scouted really well, Hades had a great presence of mind as the ref got out of position and Hades used it to low blow Lethal, snapping off the Killswitch immediately after to score the win.
After the match Hades grabbed the closest camera to him, telling Styles that tonight he sent a message, and when the time comes he’s going to take the X title!
SINGLES MATCH
“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce w/ C. Edward Vanderpyle def. Kyle Matthews
Pearce didn’t look happy after losing at Breaking Point to Colt Cabana as he faced off against a young up and coming Kyle Matthews who was trying to make a name for himself against a man who’s ranked number 3 in the world. Matthews had the crowd behind him as he tried to knock off “Scrap Iron” but he had a very uphill battle as the veteran took Matthews to school and eventually spiked him with a piledriver to put him down for a three count.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Best in the World” Bryan Danielson def. “Timber Wolf” Davey Richards
This match ate up a nice chunk of the show time wise as these guys put on a PPV calibur match for the television crowd. The crowd chanted “This is Awesome” a lot during this match as both men put it all on the line, with each man trying to applie there signature submission hold. But in the end someone had to come out on top and tonight it was Danielson who slapped on the LeBelle Lock forcing Richards to pass out from pain.
After the match CM Punk hopped the guard rail, sliding into the ring snapping off the Go 2 Sleep on Danielson out of nowhere. Before slithering out of the ring and disappearing into the crowd.
NWA WORLD JUNIOR WEIGHT TOURNAMENT MATCH
Christopher Daniels def. Michael Modest
This was a great match up as both men knew that a win tonight means that they will continue towards the ultimate goal of capturing the World Jnr title. Michael Modest tried to rely on raw strength, to punish Daniels with simple holds, but applying extra pressure to every hold, but Daniels is an incredible wrestler who was able to reformulate his gameplan and eventually he was able to hit the angel wings to put away Modest and to continue in the tournament!
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Act of God (Takashi Sugiura & Masato Tanaka) def. LAX (Anarquia & Hernandez)
This was a knock down, drag out fight between two very powerful tag teams, with Hernandez and Masato Tanaka standing in the middle of the ring trading strikes like heavyweight boxers. Until Takana snapped off a huge roaring elbow to tip the match in the favor of Act of God, Anarquia changed up tactics for his team and once they got Sugiura trapped in their corner to keep themselves fresh, taking advantage of the ref as much as they could until Sugiura snapped off a desperate olympic slam before tagging out to a hot Tanaka who almost pulled out the win by snapping off a tornado DDT, Hernandez got angry hitting a border toss on Sugiura to the outside through the time keepers table! But Hernandez turned around into an angry Tanaka who nearly decapitated Hernandez with a hellish roaring elbow to score the win for his team.
Jon Moxley came out for the title match he demanded at the beginning of the night, but instead of Elgin coming out. The gong hits as the lights cut out…
Moxley looks stunned as the show cut’s to black.
