The Chicago Power Hour starts up with the vintage style opening montage that highlights the stars of the show, with flashes of Adam Cole, Trevor Lee, John Cena, OI4K and Jerry Lawler.
We begin as always with "the Windy City recap" a brief review of last week's episode.
- Louis Lyndon gets the shock win over Cody Hall.
- Jerry Lawler challenging Ace Darling and Devon Storm to face off one more time, for the right to face him in a non-title match.
- Shane Hollister and Tomasso Ciampa getting into a big scrap.
- The Irish Airbourne, OI4K, retaining their Chicago tag team titles against ACH & Dunkerton, but only just.
- Colt Cabana taking advantage of a lapse of concentration from Luke Harper to score the victory, but ultimately not win the Cyber TV title due to the 10 minute rule.
- Trevor Lee winning the 2016 ZG Cup with a sensational standing moonsault fallaway slam on Andrew Everett
- And finally, we see the huge face-to-face showdown that took place between heavyweight champion Adam Cole and John Cena. A heated face off that ended with John Cena standing tall over Cole after a FU, and mocking him with the "You Can't See Me" hand gesture.
*Cue, the commentators as Daryck St Holmes and guest colour today, Colt Cabana do the opening speil and hype for tonight's show, running down the matches including tonight's big main-event for the #1 contendership to the Masters championship between former champ "The One" Billy Gunn and the enigmatic Raven.*
1. "The Sicilian Psychopath" Tomasso Ciampa def. Silas Young with Project Ciampa, a powerbomb backbreaker variant in 5:49; Shane Hollister comes out to the ramp after the bout and tells Ciampa he will regret sticking his nose in his business and challenges Ciampa to a match next week, Ciampa accepts and tells Hollister to bring it on now! Hollister goes to head to the ring, but thinks better of it and tells Ciampa he's going to save the beating for next week.
*Backstage Scarlett Bordeaux is with the 2016 ZG Cup winner, Trevor Lee!
Lee says winning the ZG Cup tournament last week succeeding Adrian Neville, was the greatest achievement of his career. He says that every day since he was 14 years old this is what he's been working for. Lee says he didn't go to college, and he's put everything he has into his wrestling career, into trying to make a name for himself on the circuit. Lee says that with this ZG Cup victory, he's now made people sit up and notice, but this will just be the beginning. Lee will aim high, and the sky is the limit for him in Chicago!

2. Jax Dane def. Will Ferrara with a spear in 4:28; Will Ferrera returns to Windy City last seen losing his feud blow off to Andrew Everett on Boxing Day in December but didn't manage to get back to winning ways as newcomer Jax Dane took the victory in this competitive bout.
*Adam Cole, the heavyweight champion is out in the ring with the belt around his waist and a mic in hand. Cole is angry over last week and calls out John Cena, telling him not to worry because Windy City officials have put in place a no physicality clause between the two of them until they have their match!
Cena heads to the ring, and cautiously enters. Cena cuts Cole off and apologies for the lack of respect he showed the champ last week with the "You Can't See Me" hand gesture over the downed Cole, but says that only happened because Cole cost Cena the tag team championships and took a swing at him last week with his championship belt when he didn't like what Cena said!
Cole responds by saying he's right, there's been wrong on both sides, and Cole has decided the time for talking is over. Cole has spoken to the powers that be here in Chicago, and next week he will settle this in the ring because the match has been signed, Adam Cole will defend his title against John Cena NEXT WEEK! Cole say's he will prove that he is the best, in the ring, where it counts!
Cena smiles, and slaps Cole's belt somewhat hard that he's wearing around his waist, telling him that he's looking forward to facing the champ before leaving the ring.
St Holmes and Cabana put over how big this is, the trigger has been pulled, next week the huge championship match between Adam Cole and John Cena will take place in the main-event of the Chicago Power Hour, Monday Febuary the 15th!
[segment length: 5 minutes]
3. Masters division: winner faces Masters champion Jerry Lawler in a non-title match
Devon Storm def. Ace Darling with a hurricarana off the top rope into a pin for the win in 8:25; Storm and Darling go at it one more time with the prize of a match against The King on the line. This is a clean, solid bout between these two veterans but Storm get's his arm raised and faces Jerry Lawler next week.
*A vignette roles for what appears to be a new tag team coming to Windy City soon. Chad Gable and Jason Jordan introduce themselves as the American Alphas. We see Gable and Jordan wrestling some guys at a gym amateur style, and they run rings round them in style. Jordan says that it's time real tag team wrestling came back into vogue. Gable finishes with they are ready, willing and gable to take over the tag team division in Chicago!
[segment length: 3 minutes]
4. 4-Corners Match for the Chicago tag team championships
OI4K (Dave and Jake Crist) [c] def. ACH and Sugar Dunkerton, Kung Fu Manchu (Marion Fontaine and Louis Lyndon) & Cody Hall and Luke Harper when Fontaine was pinned by a Killing Spree double team move from OI4K in 7:32 as the champs retain their titles; Cody Hall spent alot of the match going after Louis Lyndon which took his team out of the equation and left Fontaine isolated and alone with Lyndon taking a beating on the outside; Harper grabbed his Cyber TV belt and walked out on the match when he saw Hall was chasing Lyndon, and instead went up to the commentary booth and challenged Colt Cabana to a rematch in 2 weeks time, February the 22nd, for the Cyber TV Title. Cabana accepts and the two square up, before Harper slowly backs away while staring at Colt, his eyes never leaving Colt's.

5. MAIN-EVENT: #1 contenders Match for the Masters championship
Raven def. Billy Gunn with the Evenflow DDT in 10:12 to become the #1 contender to Jerry Lawler, and the Masters championship; Gunn proved to be the better athlete and was in charge for spells but Raven took it down and dirty and used every trick he could to win the match. Raven exposed the steel turn-buckle behind the ref's back and Gunn smashed his face right into it when missing a big splash into the corner, and Raven followed up with the Evenflow DDT for the win.
St Holmes says that Raven will get his Masters championship shot on the 7th of March episode of the Chicago Power Hour, in 4 weeks time. Before then, Lawler has to face off against Devon Storm who earned a non-title match against him next week!
St Holmes and Cabana run down the matches for next week, the 15th of February that we know about right now;
Jerry Lawler Vs Devon Storm, non-title
Shane Hollister Vs Tomasso Ciampa
And in the Main-Event, Adam Cole put's the Chicago heavyweight championship on the line against John Cena!
