Masa Horie - Good evening everyone and welcome to round two of the JPP Tag Team Title tournament. Two of our winning teams from last week, Two Treasures of Buddha and Kimono Dears will meet up in our main event tonight.
Akira Hokuto - The match I’m looking forward to tonight is the renewal of a rivalry from a few years ago. Arisa Nakajima makes her return to the ring in singles action as she faces her nemesis from her early career, Basara. Will Arisa have some ring rust?
Las Superestrellas (Nagisa Nozaki & Martinez Twins) vs Yuzuki Aikawa, Riho, and Chii Tomiya
Kick from Nagisa Nozaki to Riho’s leg. Spin kick by Nagisa Nozaki to the face. Tag between Nagisa Nozaki and Mia Martinez. Mia hits a dropkick on Riho. Lightning kick by Mia on Riho. There's a two count on the pin. Tag to Miguela Martinez. The Martinez Twins whip Riho into the corner. Mia Martinez whips Miguela Martinez in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Miguela Martinez hits a rolling kick on Riho. Riho comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Hard back suplex on Miguela. Tag to Yuzuki Aikawa. Flying elbow from Yuzuki Aikawa. Tornado DDT from Yuzuki Aikawa, Miguela got planted. Pinfall attempt gets a 2.9999. Miguela takes a flying neckbreaker from Yuzuki Aikawa. Tag between Yuzuki Aikawa and Chii Tomiya. Back suplex on Basara. Basara kicks Arisa Nakajima in the gut to reverse the momentum. Chop from Basara on Arisa. Basara misses a clothesline...and takes out the referee by mistake. Basara hits a badly done swinging DDT on Arisa Nakajima. Hooks the leg, but the referee is still out. Arisa Nakajima avoids a Basara avalanche. Basara gets caught with a short powerbomb from Arisa. Massive back suplex! Basara got snapped in half. There's a two count on the pin. Wicked suplex out of the corner from Arisa Nakajima. Pin, but Basara is out just before the three count. Arisa drops an elbow...but misses. Basara hits a shaky delayed suplex on Arisa. Pinfall attempt gets a 2.9999. Arisa Nakajima pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Arisa Nakajima moves in for the kill. Hiroyo receives some unexciting punishment. Weak bodyslam on Hiroyo by Martini. Tag between Martini Ip and Syuri. Legsweep out of Nowhere. Super kick by Syuri. Hooks the leg for a two count. Syuri tags out to Makoto. Makoto/Syuri whip Hiroyo into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Driven DDT by Makoto. Hiroyo counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face. Hiroyo hits a spinning back kick. Hiroyo tags out to Hikaru Shida. Makoto takes a knee lift from Shida. Slingshot clothesline by Shida, who almost messed it up by slipping on the ropes. Pin, but Makoto is out just before the three count. Shida hits an arm drag on Makoto. Tag between Hikaru Shida and Miyako. Kick from Miyako to the leg. Hard back suplex on Makoto. Makoto powers out of a Miyako headlock. Makoto tags out to Martini Ip. Martini slams Miyako down. Tag between Miyako and Hiroyo. Uninspiring brawling from Hiroyo. Martini blocks a kick from Hiroyo. Martini Ip moves in for the kill. Spear!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

Masa Horie - Big win for The SMASH Girls, particularly Martini Ip. She has just pinned the woman she’ll be facing for the JPP Singles title in two weeks.
Akira Hokuto - Martini may be the most athletic and fit wrestler in JPP. Athletic ability and fitness can only get you so far in wrestling. You need intelligence and cunning to get to the top.
NWA JPP Tag Team Tournament (round 2)
Lin Bairon & Serena Deeb vs Natsuki*Taiyo & Toshie Uematsu
Lin hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Lin uses a basement dropkick to the knee. There's a two count on the pin. Lin tags out to Serena Deeb. Lin & Serena whip Natsuki into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Serena hooks the leg for a two count. Taiyo takes a vertical suplex. Natsuki blocks a kick from Serena. Super kick by Natsuki. There's a two count on the pin. Tag between Natsuki and Toshie. Uematsu hits a high kick on Serena. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Serena walks into a spinning heel kick, evidently feeling that the 'duck' tactic is over-rated. Serena counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Face crusher from Serena on Uematsu. Serena tags out to Lin Bairon. Lin hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Tag to Natsuki. Flying elbow from Lin Bairon. Natsuki is in big trouble... Final Scene!! 1....2....3!

Destruction are backstage. They are walking down the hall when Tomoko Nakagawa stops at the catering table.
Kaori Yoneyama - What are you doing? We have a match.
Tomoko - I haven’t had anything to eat since lunch. I’m just gonna grab one of these danishes quickly.
Kaori - That’s no good right before a match. There’s some good fresh fruit waiting for us in the ring. A nice ripe apple and a fresh juicy cherry.

Apple Miyuki & Cherry vs Destruction
Cherry hits a spinning back kick. Cherry hits a high kick on Kaori Yoneyama. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tag between Cherry and Apple Miyuki. Apple & Cherry whip Yoneyama into the corner. Apple Miyuki whips Cherry in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Yoneyama takes a flying neckbreaker from Apple Miyuki. Apple hooks the leg for a two count. Standing leg lariat by Apple Miyuki on Yoneyama. Yoneyama kicks Apple Miyuki in the gut to reverse the momentum. DDT from the top rope by Kaori Yoneyama. That looked brutal. Kana bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. There's a two count on the pin. Kana hits an arm drag on Keiko. Kana gets taken down out of nowhere. Keiko crushes Kana with a big legdrop. Cover for a two count. Tag between Keiko Mariko and Ramu Endo. Super Frankensteiner on Kana. Ramu hooks the leg for a close fall. Hard back suplex on Kana. Kana blocks a punch. Kana hits a grazing dropkick on Ramu Endo. Kana tags out to Ayumi Kurihara. Ramu takes a headbutt from Ayumi Kurihara. Ramu tags out to Keiko Mariko. Masa Horie - Ayumi and Kana are still undefeated and are at the top of the table at 2 - 0. Next week is a week off from the Tag Team title tournament as the ladies from California Pro Wrestling come to JPP for another best of 5 series. We’ll also crown our first JPP Junior Champion in a 20 woman battle royal.
Akira Hokuto - It’s more like a dozen women and a bunch of little girls. I have bras older than some of the girls in that match.

Corner[/glow] Ray Cassler - Good evening everyone and welcome to Cassler's Corner. Tonight on Athena Pro, we had round 2 of the JPP Tag Team title tournament and three other great matches. Our opening match was an exciting trios match. Picking up the win that match was JPP's youngest star and here she is, Riho! Riho - Thank you Cassler san. It was so exciting to pick up the win in our match, especially when my partners and opponents are all so talented. It was even fun teaming up with my old friend Chii Tomiya. Ray Cassler - You're 14 and she's 19. There's nothing old with either of you. How are you finding things here in Hong Kong? Riho - Hong Kong is an exciting and busy city. So many lights and noises and activity everywhere. It took a while for all the legal stuff to get taken care of so I could live here permanent while I wrestle for JPP. I'm here now and looking forward to competing with and agaisnt all the talented girls and ladies here. Ray Cassler - How do you enjoy living with all the other JPP girls? Riho - I'm living in an apartment with an interesting family. In our apartment is the girl who's almost my big sister, Ramu Endo, as well as her fiance, her friend Keiko Mariko and Keiko's husband as well as Ramu's moms and little brother. On monday I'll be starting at a school here in Hong Kong. Ray Cassler - We look forward to lots of great things from our schoolgirl wrestler here in JPP. Have a great week everyone. |
