”Bullet in my hand” by Redlight King plays as we come into the last Adrenaline show before Uncivil War. The show cuts to “The Voice of Impact” Joey Styles and “The Impact Intellectual” Don Callis, and Joey Styles was excited about Uncivil War the biggest iPPV in the history of Impact! Recently we’ve added matches to Uncivil War, such as Roderick Strong vs. Davey Richards, Sami Callihan vs. Richie Steamboat and Adam Pearce versus the new comer Matt Taven. But tonight we’ve got an incredible card for you, tonight Jason Hades and Mike Elgin will team up to face their opponents AJ Styles and Colt Cabana respectively the men they’ll face at Uncivil War. Also Adam Pearce will face off against “The Timber Wolf” Davey Richards! But now we’re going to head to the ring for the opening contest…
TAG TEAM MATCH
Impact UK(Magnus & Doug Williams) def. Vordell Walker & Arrick Andrew
This was a match pitting the calculating british style against American Strong Style, and while this wasn’t a squash match like Impact UK got to have last week, Doug Williams was able to duck a spin kick by Walker, and took the opportunity to nail the chaos theory!
Things were breaking down in the back as the BLK OUT and The Embassy wanted to kill each other, but David Marquez the commish of Impact was able to step in and agreed that tonight, it would be a one on one match, with both teams being allowed to pick someone to represent there faction in a match tonight! NO ONE is allowed at ringside, and if ANYONE tries to come to ringside they’d be fired on the spot!
SINGLES MATCH
Zack Sabre Jr. def. Kenny Omega
Zack Sabre Jr. came in as a heel and really brought the fight to Omega, who tried like hell to come out of this match with the win, but in the end ZSJ hit the Sabre Driver on Omega to pull off a debut win.
Adam Pearce is lacing up his boots and getting prepared for his big match tonight against “The Timber Wolf” Davey Richards, until RD Evans the manager of Roderick Strong, who is Richards opponent at Uncivil War comes into the shot. Evans makes a proposition to Pearce, handing him an envelope of money and asking him to not worry about winning or losing but make sure that Richards doesn’t make it to Uncivil War! Pearce takes a look inside the envelope, smiling and shakes hands with Evans as the show cuts to commercial.
SINGLES MATCH
Jeremiah Raines w/ Terry Funk def. “The American Luchadore” Brian Mendez
Terry Funk was extremely excited as he yelled commands to his debuting student, and Raines absolutely dominated Mendez, nailing the lariat on Mendez and pinning him easily.
SINGLES MATCH
“The New Horror” Sami Callihan def. Matt Taven
Suprising match with Taven holding his own against the human cannon ball Sami Callihan. Taven almost scored with his lethal super kick but Callihan was able to catch the foot throwing it down forcefully, turning it into a headlock driver to give him a hard fought win.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Physical Genius” Jon Moxley def. Richie “The Young Dragon” Steamboat
Moxley had his head on a swivel as he faced off against the young and talented Richie Steamboat, Moxley had the advantage for a lot of the match but he kept taking his eyes off of Steamboat, watching for the Undertaker. Moxley was able to win in the end with the Boma Ye as the lights go out…
When the lights come back on Jon Moxley is staring at the entrance way in fear with the Undertaker standing right behind him. Moxley backs up into Taker, turning around in a horror movie moment. Undertaker’s eyes go white as Moxley back pedals and falls against the ropes scurrying from the ring as the show goes to commercial.
BLK OUT VS. EMBASSY MATCH
John Cena(BLK OUT) def. Austin Clay(Embassy)
These two men were chosen by their respective factions, they’re also the biggest members of each faction, with the combined what in this match reaching nearly 500lbs. Clay was the better wrestler in this match up, but Cena had so much heart and was able to kick out of the Code Breaker, and came back hitting the DVD on Clay in the middle of the ring to pick up the win for the BLK OUT!
SINGLES MATCH
“The Timber Wolf” Davey Richards def. Adam “Scrap Iron” Pearce w/ C. Edward Vanderpyle
If you remember from the segment earlier, Adam Pearce is coming into this match as a hired gun for Roderick Strong. Pearce targets the knee of Richards from the beginning trying to take the starch out of his educated feet. Everything Pearce had he put into crippling Richards but the Timber Wolf fought back and was able to put Pearce away with the DR Driver, but the damage was done by Pearce as Richards had to be helped out of the ring to the back.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Jason Hades & Mike Elgin w/ Elwood Gately vs. Colt Cabana & AJ Styles
This was an epic encounter between two teams that weren’t cohesive but eventually opponents at Uncivil War paired off and the ref couldn’t keep the peace, but let them go for awhile. Cabana and Elgin threw some heavy hands as Hades and Styles faced off in a battle of “who’s faster” the ref eventually had to throw the match out when he couldn’t get order restored. Hades came out of nowhere with a chair leveling both Styles and Cabana as the heels stood tall going into Uncivil War.
