Martini Ip - So many people this week have been asking me if I’m upset about losing to Kana last week. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t upset, I love winning, But if I had to lose to someone, I’m glad it’s someone as skilled as Kana who I can learn from. But Kana isn’t the only person I’ve learned from. Hiren has taught me the lesson to always watch my back. [glow=red,2,300]Cassler's Corner[/glow] Ray Cassler - Welcome to another episode of Cassler's Corner. We've just wrapped up another exciting episode of Athena Pro. The round robin portion of the NWA JPP Tag Team Title tournament wrapped up tonight. In the main event, Lin Bairon and Serena pulled off a win against the unbeaten Two Treasures of Buddha. Both teams finished at 4-1 and will meet next wek to decide who will be JPP's first tag team champions. The biggest news to come out of tonight's show occured in the match for the NWA JPP Singles title. Kana came in on a roll, having never been pinned or submitted in JPP action. Hiroyo entered the match confident after two successful title defences. Neither lady was successful in their quest tonight as they fought to a very physical 30 minute draw. Let's bring in both ladies... still the #1 contender, Kana... and still the NWA JPP Singles Champion, Hiroyo Matsumoto! Thank you for an amazing match ladies. Your match was the talk of the show. I've been told that JPP's Facebook and Twitter pages were bombarded with requests for a rematch. Kana - It isn't only the fans who want a rematch. As soon as the match was over, I found Commissioner Konno and asked for a rematch as soon as possible. I had a lot of respect for Hiroyo before our match and I have even more respect now. She gave me a fight like nobody else has and I want that much of a fight again. Hiroyo Matsumoto - What the fans want and what Kana wants are also what I want. There are some nice perks to being the champ. There's the extra bonus in my paycheck, the queen size bed and room to myself back at the apartment, my t-shirts being popular, and being able to say when I want to defend my title. When Commissioner Konno came to me after she met with Kana, she asked me when I'd like to face kana again. I told her that competition is like a drug to me and Kana is the best drug. The fans, myself and Kana will all get what we want.... next saturday! This won't be a regular match, we will have a no time limit match and the only way to win is by submission Kana - Tap... Tap... Tap... Learn how to do that.
