DARK MATCH
Richie Steamboat def. Chris Ashton
Ashton put up a great fight but in the end Steamboat was able to nail a crossbody off the top rope to pick up a win.
DARK MATCH
Low Ki def. Amazing Red
Before anyone gets in an uproar on why this is a dark match, I wanted something that would get the crowd super hot for the televised show. Low Ki was able to hit a double stomp off the top to put away Red.
”Bullet in my hand” by Redlight King plays as the crowd is excited about another edition of Adrenaline. The show cuts to Joey Styles and Don Callis, who are extremely excited about what’s been going on here in NWA Impact, tonight the main event of the show is a special tag team match. John Cena & Alex Koslov will face off against Takeshi Morishima & Brandon Bonham! Also tonight a World JR title tournament match will take place as Johnny Gargano (NWA UK) will face Prince Devitt (NWA Windy City)! But first…
SINGLES MATCH
Jeremiah Raines w/ Terry Funk def. “The New Horror” Sami Callihan
This was the first real challenge for Raines since coming to Impact, but the size difference was to much as Raines was able to put away Callihan with his vicious lariat.
The show cuts to the interview booth where we see the return of Jay Lethal, who let everyone know in a very shoot style promo on why he was released from NWA Impact in the past. According to Lethal, David Marquez didn’t think he was exciting enough to warrant a contract, so now Lethal is back and he plans on making an… Impact!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Motor City Machine Guns(Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) def. Impact UK(Magnus & Doug Williams)
MCMG’s were pretty sore and pretty pissed that they came up short at the Tag Team Showcase and it showed here as they were super aggressive against Impact UK. Doug Williams ended up on the wrong end of a Shell Shock giving the Machine Guns a big win.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Greatest Man that Ever Lived” Austin Aries def. Petey Williams
The debut of Petey Williams was very impressive as Aries gave him lots of chances to show off, but in the end Aries was able to snap off the brainbuster to put away the debuting Williams.
CM Punk came onto the screen after a commercial break, targeting a verbal assault at the NWA World Champion, Sheamus calling him throwing beer into his eyes an act of cowardice. The feeling of the piss warm beer in his face, the smell that lingered until he was able to get to a shower will stick with him. Punk plans on dethroneing the horrible Irish stereotype that is the World Champ. Sheamus boasts that he’s going to kick “arse” and drink guinness, well Punk is going to shove a potato up the champs ass!
NWA WORLD JR TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH
Prince Devitt def. Johnny Gargano
These two guys came into NWA Impact and really put on a great match up for the audience. The match actually hit the television time limit, so David Marquez came out and gave them five more minutes! The match got extremely furious and Gargano ended up getting hit with a Bloody Sunday giving an exhausted Devitt the advance.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Physical Genius” Jon Moxley def. Zack Sabre Jr.
Even though Moxley came away the loser against Undertaker at Uncivil War, he’s turned it into a positive. ZSJ tried to pull off the underdog win but ended up getting hit with a brutal Boma Ye from Moxley, and that was all she wrote.
We cut to the back where the camera man is just catching the fight going on as Colt Cabana and Ace Steel crossed paths and a fight erupted with both men trying to tear the other apart as backstage crew members do what they can to separate the two men.
SINGLES MATCH
“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson def. “The Timber Wolf” Davey Richards
If you’ve noticed we’ve actually cut out a match tonight, and that’s due to the extended match earlier between Devitt/Gargano and because this match also took a lot of time, but didn’t make it to the time limit as Danielson forced Richards to submit with the cattle mutilation!
TAG TEAM MATCH
John Cena & Alex Koslov def. Takeshi Morishima & Brandon Bonham w/ Prince Nana
This match started out with Koslov getting isolated and beaten down by Morishima and Bonham, keeping him isolated from Cena. The momentum changed when Cena got a hot tag beating the hell out of both opponents, but a frustrated Takeshi took a chair from ringside smashing it over Cena’s skull putting him down as the ref called for the bell.
The ref called for the bell over and over as Takeshi continued to assault Cena with the steel chair, before finally feeling as though he’s done enough damage. Standing tall over Cena as the show cuts to black.
