World Class Championship Wrestling!!!!
The Return!!!!
[/size]The Return!!!!
*scene opens to a jam-packed Gilley’s in Dallas, TX. We head down to ringside, and our old friends, Greg Hunter and John Johnson.*
Greg Hunter: Good evening wrestling fans, and welcome to WORLD…..CLASS…..CHAMPIONSHIP…..WRESTLING!!! That’s right, we are BACK! And we got one hell of a show tonight, right John?
John Johnson: Damn right we do. Hello, Dallas!!!! *thunderous pop from the crowd* Southwest Sports has restarted NWA Southwest after a lengthy hiatus, and the Commissioner of NWASW, Jonathan Darkstar has made a few changes: One being a smaller roster for starters, and two, he vacated all the belts. So, tonight, in this very ring, will be the first round matches for the vacant NWA Texas Heavyweight Championship. The semifinals and the championship match, along with the entire tourney for the vacant NWA Teas Tag Team titles, will be on the net show. So, without further ado, *crowd joins in* LET THE ASSKICKING COMMENCE!!!!
Ace Rockwell vs Caprice Coleman
This was a nice high-flying match to start the show off with. Rockwell and Coleman know each other well, and they countered just about everything they threw at each other. Rockwell finally took Coleman to the mat and made him submit with an Arm Trap Shoulder Breaker in 9:55.
Match Rating: 1.75
Adam Jacobs vs Gabriel
Another fast paced match. This one was fairly even, up to the point where Jacobs resorted to chicanery and had Jeff G. Bailey clock Gabriel from outside the ring with the ubiquitous roll of quarters. The referee didn’t spot it, and Jacobs hit the Superkick in 8:25 to cover up the shenanigans for the win.
Match Rating: 1.75
Batista vs Jeremy V
This one was all Batista, and it was over in a hurry. Jeremy V never did get a chance to mount any offense, and Batista nailed the Batista Bomb in 1:10 to finish him off.
Match Rating: 2.0
Anthony Franco vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Excellent match here, and the match of the night. Franco and Chavo put on an aerial show that saw the two of them going aerial early and very often. Franco was looking for a slip up, and got it. He capitalized on it, and nailed Chavo with the Top Rope Frankensteiner in 14:07 for the upset win.
Match Rating: 2.25
Overall Rating: 2.0
