[/size]*scene opens to a sold-out Gilley’s in Dallas, Texas. We head down to ringside and join up with Greg Hunter and John Johnson*
Greg Hunter: Good evening, wrestling fans, and welcome to World…..Class…..Championship…..Wrestling!!!! *thunderous pop from the fans* I’m Greg Hunter, with me is my broadcast partner John Johnson. John, we have one hell of a show tonight!
John Johnson: Sure do, Greg. Hello, Dallas!!! *thunderous pop from the fans.* We have the semi-finals for the NWA Texas Heavyweight Championship on the card, along with the championship match AND the entire tourney for the vacant NWA Texas Tag Championship. Without further ado, let’s head to the ring and…..LET THE ASSKICKING COMMENCE!!!!
Ace Rockwell vs Adam Jacobs
Jacobs was clearly outclassed in this one, as Rockwell went to the air early and often, but Jacobs rebounded and nailed Rockwell with a dropkick as he was coming off the top rope for a 450 Splash! Rockwell resorted to a little chicanery, as Jeff Bailey distracted the referee while Rockwell nailed Jacobs with the Flagrant Foul for the win in 4:36! The fans let their disapproval be known with a round of thunderous boos.

Batista vs Anthony Franco
[/b]The man from Pittsburgh, Franco, got his hands on the Animal, as Batista made his way to ringside. Franco charged Batista, only to get met with a thunderous boot to the midsection! Batista dragged Franco to the ring, and brutalized Franco unmercifully! Jeff Bailey made his way to ringside, clipboard in hand, and appeared to be watching Batista very intently. Batista noticed, nodded his head, and nailed Franco with a gigantic Batista Bomb in 6:33 to finish off Franco! The crowd started the “Boring” chant as Batista made his way back to the locker room, leaving Franco laying in the middle of the ring.

*scene shifts to the backstage area, where we spot Batista having a heated discussion with Jeff G. Bailey. Batista listens intently, and finally nods.*
Adam Jacobs and Jeremy V vs Anthony Franco and Caprice Coleman
Considering this was the first time these two teams had even been together, we got ourselves a very fast-paced match! This one went back and forth for quite a while before Jeremy V nailed Coleman with the VDT in 7:35!

Batista and John Phoenix vs The Lost Boyz
The Lost Boyz were in rare form, but they were slightly overpowered by the new team of Batista and John Phoenix. Batista nailed the Batista Bomb, then tagged in Phoenix, who went upstairs and nailed the 450 Splash in 5:52 for the win!

This was a surprisingly even match for most of it, then Batista opened it up by taking Jeremy V out of the ring and ramming his head into the railing. Phoenix capitalized by nailing the 450 Splash on Adam Jacobs in 7:49 to win the belts!

Batista was getting winded and it showed. But, he wasted no time in going after Rockwell, who took it to Batista! Batista countered by nailing the Batista Bomb twice, at the 5:44 mark for the win!
WINNER OF THE MATCH AND NEW NWA TEXAS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION- BATISTA!!!!
The referee handed Batista the belt. Batista celebrated in the middle of the ring, where he was joined by Jeff G. Bailey! It appears that the NWA Elite may have a new member!
