Masa Horie - At the end of our Spring Supershow two weeks ago, there was a three-way tug of war over the NWA World Women’s Title. Nattie Neidhart had just taken champion Mickie James to a 30 minute draw. When the match was over, the JPP Singles Champion, Hiroyo Matsumoto, made it known that she wanted a shot at the title. The NWA Championship Committee made a match for NWA Showcase #3 last weekend for the NWA World Women’s Title. Our JPP Singles Champion, Hiroyo Matsumoto, travelled back across the Pacific to take part in in that match. Hiroyo faced off against Mickie James at Nattie Neidhart for the title. After a very physical battle between three of the most skilled women in the NWA, Nattie Neidhart locked Mickie James into the sharpshooter and forced her to tap out.
Everyone in JoshiPuroPride would like to congratulate Nattie Neidhart on becoming the NEW NWA World Women’s Champion.
