Recap of NWA Showcase #3
Highlights were shown of the NWA event, and all of the action. The CPW Championship match was the last highlight shown, and the last image was of the new CPW Champion, Alberto Del Rio, holding the title up smugly after his match with Rey Mysterio.
Alberto Del Rio came out with the CPW Championship, he said that at Showcase he showed the rest of the locker room and the NWA World Champion is now on notice that he is once again the NWA's top contender and most dangerous champion.
Morgan interrupted the champion and challenged him to a match, alongside his mysterious leader. Del Rio accepted and told him that tonight Morgan would be famous.... as the first to fall in the new Del Rio era!
Tag Team Match
The Faces of Fear defeated Pure Dynamite when Samoa Joe pinned John Walters after a dragon suplex in 06:36.
After the match, the Faces of Fear challenged Money Inc for the CPW Tag Titles.
One on One Match
Caprice Coleman pinned Evan Sydal with the Thermal Shock in 05:01.
One on One Match
Joe Hennig pinned Dolph Ziggler with the Perfect Plex in 09:45.
After the match, Hennig and Ziggler stood in the ring, almost ready to go again, until Jasmin St. Claire made her way out to the ring. She said that she has been watching the both of them for quite some time. She wanted the to join her new grouping.
Four Corners Match
Matt Hardy defeated Adam Pearce, Christopher Daniels and Jack Swagger when Matt Hardy pinned Christopher Daniels after an inverted DDT in 20:41.
After the match, Scott Steiner's music hit the PA system, and Hardy bailed from the ring, but rather than Steiner, it was Chris Jericho! Chris took the mic and told the fans that he wasn't here to make friends. He was not here for a paycheck. He was here to do one thing, and that was show the world that Chris Daniels is a fake and a fraud. He challenged Daniels to a match at the next show. With Daniels still out of it from the knockout blow, Jericho walked into the ring and manipulated Daniels mouth to say "Yes, I accept". Jericho then locked on the Walls of Jericho as security eventually made their way out and separated Jericho from Daniles.
One on One Match
The Miz pinned Randy Orton with the Skull Crushing Finale in 07:32.
A good back and forth match.
CPW Television Championship Match
Ken Anderson (c) pinned Rey Mysterio with the Mic Check in 06:02 to retain the CPW Television Championship after ADR distracted Mysterio.
After the match, ADR and Anderson tried to work over the still injured arm of Mysterio, until Morgan made the save.
CPW Championship Match
Matt Morgan defeated Alberto Del Rio (c) by disqualification in 08:54, thus Alberto Del Rio to retain the CPW Heavyweight Championship.
Morgan challenged ADR and Anderson to a tag match at the next show! If his team wins, they get a title shot. If his team loses, Anderson or Del Rio can pick their opponent and stipulation at a match of their choosing! Anderson and ADR started talking , and it looked like they were not going to accept, but as ADR went to issue the response, Anderson snagged the mic and said, "Ya, sure, you're on!", as ADR looked on in shock to end the show!
