I most likely won't be able to post this any closer to Tuesday due to a loaded schedule so enjoy.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Arrick Andrews & Vordell Walker def. SteeleCorp (Robert Parker Williams & Ryan Reign)
This was a pretty one sided match as Andrews and Walker got fed some local scraps to give them a victory but the SteeleCorp got some nice spots in but in the end Andrews slapped on the dragon sleeper forcing Ryan Reign to submit.
SINGLES MATCH
“Milk Chocolate” Willie Mack def. Troy Lords
Willie Mack dominated this match against Lords and finished him off with a chocolate thunder bomb.
The DVD taped show opens with Don Callis and his clients, Rhino and Taskeshi Morishima. Callis has some papers in one hand and a mic in the other, as he lets the crowd know that he’s got some information for the fans as well as the boys in the back. FOX 53 Pittsburgh has been in talks with NWA East Cost about a television deal, but due to a match last week, a match set up by Dustin Smith. The match in question was the free fight between Jun Kasai and Drake Younger, it was so violent that FOX 53 doesn’t want to pick up NWA East Coast unless the show is ran by someone other than Dustin. Callis already has the solution, he’s written up the contract that will appoint him as the director of the TV deal. If Smith doesn’t sign it by the end of the night then he can kiss the TV deal goodbye, do you really think NWA East Coast will last long without a TV deal? Look what happened to another Philly based promotion when they lost their deal…
SINGLES MATCH
Samuray del Sol def. Shockwave the Robot
After two matches where you could kinda see who was gonna win, these two tried to tear the house down as the first match on the show DVD. Samuray del Sol gave Shockwave the chance to switch into wrestling mode as these two guys had a lot of respect for each other. The match had a great pace and it was fun as Shockwave did throw in some dancing which Samuray would take advantage of and atleast once did a little dance of his own. The match ended when Shockwave got planted with a sunset flip bomb at the hands of Sol for the finish.
After the match we see a thirty second highlight reel of Dylan Klein and Burchill who as of last week have formed a tag team that they’re claiming to be the next dominate force in tag team wrestling.
SINGLES MATCH
“Magnum” Joey Ryan def. “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson
Danielson has been extremely angry and extremely violent since not only coming up short against Rhino for the East Coast title, but also losing in a triple threat #1 contenders match to Takeshi Morishima who in turn laid down for Rhino in the match. In fact Danielson hasn’t won a match in WEEKS and now he has a take no prisoner attitude as he beat the hell out of Joey Ryan who was a victim of being in the wrong place at a very wrong time. Danielson slapped on the crossface chickenwing forcing Ryan to submit but just like last week with Shockwave, Danielson refused to release the hold resulting in the finish being overturned awarding Joey Ryan the victory!
When Tim Petty announced the overturning of the refs decision and the new winner of the match, Danielson looked extremly irrate as he released the hold on a passed out Joey Ryan and tried to attack the ref who ran like his life depended on it as Danielson stood in the middle of the ring with a wild look in his eyes.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Burchill & Dylan Klein def. The Batiri (Kodama & Obariyon)
This was the debut of the new pairing that was advertised last week as Burchill and Klein looked like they’ve been preparing for this match as they both made quick tags and took control of this match from the onset with Klein hitting the Stunna on Kodama to score the win.
The Hooligans, Paul London and Brian Kendrick are standing in the interview area in front of the NWA East Coast banner talking about their match tonight against the “Rockstars of Wrestling” and how Jimmy Rave made things personal by spitting in the face of London last week. This week the Hooligans plan on making the “Rockstars” pay.
SINGLES MATCH
Takeshi Morishima def. El Generico
Generico wasn’t intimidated as he took on the massive Morishima, but his heart wasn’t enough for the power of Takeshi. Generico was able to use his speed for awhile to rock the big man but Morishima once he got his hands on Generico owned the match and eventually took Generico out with a brutal lariat.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Rockstars of Wrestling(Jason Hades & Jimmy Rave) def. The Hooligans(Paul London & Brian Kendrick)
This match was great and a highlight of the show as these two teams really worked well together and had a well paced match. The Hooligans were the crowd favorites and looked to have the match well in hand but Jimmy Rave was able to hold off London as Hades rolled up Kendrick and with the help of a fist full of tights was able to pin Kendrick long enough for a three count.
NWA EAST COAST TITLE MATCH
“The Big F’N Deal” Rhino© w/ Takeshi Morishimia & Don Callis def. “Notorious 187” Homicide
This match wasn’t long but it was extremely hard hitting as Homicide looked to get revenge for a couple shows back when Rhino gored him for no reason. Homicide put up a hell of a fight, and even though he only earned a title shot because Rhino doesn’t back down from anyone, Homicide made the best of his chance. Rhino actually looked to be introuble when Homicide scored with a mafia kick, but once Rhino regained his bareings he gored Homicide and pinned him easily.
After the match Callis got back into the ring, as Rhino stomped a near lifeless Homicide out of the ring. Callis demanded that NWA President and NWA East Coast owner Dustin Smith come to the ring to address weither or not he’ll hand over the reigns of NWA East Coast to Callis in order to get the TV deal. Smith eventually came to the ring and let everyone know that he’s spent most of the night on the phone with FOX, and somehow Callis has weaseled up to them enough that if NWA East Coast is going to get a deal with them, then in fact Callis has to be the one in charge of the show… Callis had enough of Smith’s talking and demanded he sign the papers, having Takeshi bring a table into the ring for Smith to sign the papers on. Smith begrudgingly signed on the line giving Callis control over the TV deal, and once it was official Callis smiled as Rhino snatched up Smith and Takeshi propped the folding table in the corner.A few moments later Rhino viciously gored the NWA President through the table, as Callis stood tall over the shards of table and human flesh in the corner, now the man in power of NWA East Coast!
