DARK MATCH
SoCal Speed(Kaz & TJ Perkins) w/ Elwood Gately def. Devin Devine & Dash Bennett
This was pretty one sided as Kaz and Perkins made quick tags keeping Dash Bennett isolated from his partner as SoCal speed played great heels getting the East Coast crowd riled up. The finish came when TJ Perkins hit his fireman’s carry flash kick on Bennett.
DARK MATCH
Samuray del Sol def. Shark Boy
This was a fast paced match between two quick masked wrestlers, with Shark Boy trying to put comedy into the match but the brutal south philly fans boo’d him. Samuray del Sol used his breath taking style to get the crowd in his corner. Shark Boy eventually got the respect of the crowd after getting a bit more serious, but in the end got hit with a sunset flip bomb giving Samuray del Sol the dark match victory.
The show opens with a highlight reel of past NWA East Coast shows, with the show finally starting with Chris Lyons and Joel Gertner in the announcers area, letting everyone know that we’re about 2 weeks away from X 2012, with the main event Ultimate X match between Alex Koslov, El Generico, Mistico and Paul London! Also coming up next month, East faces off against West as NWA East Coast will hook up with NWA California Pro in a class of the coasts! Also Don Callis the director of NWA East Coast has an important announcement. Right now we’re going to the ring for our opening bout.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Rockstars of Wrestling(Jimmy Rave & Jason Hades) w/ Ms. Behave def. Up in Smoke(Cheech & Cloudy)
The Rockstars looked extremely arrogant as they faced off against the debuting Up in Smoke. Rave and Hades didn’t take Cheech seriously enough, keeping him in their corner but allowing him to roar against the Rockstars before tagging Cloudy into the match, Up in Smoke used a lot of tag team moves to bring the fight to the Rockstars of Wrestling. The match got out of hand as the ref pretty much gave up on trying to restore order and Cheech got nailed with the Killswitch at the hands of Hades giving the Rockstars the win.
SINGLES MATCH
El Generico def. Brandon Bonham
This was a fantastic match that got a lot of the television time as both high flyers got to show off, Bonham thought he had the win after hitting a burning mjolinr but only got a two count! Generico got the crowd on his side after hitting a huge mafia kick in the corner nearly taking Bonham’s head off. Bonham tried to hit a swanton bomb but Generico got his knees up and followed up with a brainbuster to score a hard fought victory!
SINGLES MATCH
“Bad Ass” BJ Whitmer def. “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson
BJ Whitmer didn’t stand a chance as Danielson was like a pitbull, forcing Whitmer to submit with the crossface chickenwing, but yet again he held the hold so long that he got DQ’d.
”Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin blares over the PA system as Jon Moxley comes out, Chris Lyons lets the audience know that Moxley was scheduled to face Homicide next but Danielson is refusing to break the hold on Whitmer. Moxley started slapping Danielson in the face until he released the hold, turning his vicious attack to Moxley as both men started to brawl wildly. Security and other wrestlers flooded the ring with Moxley and Danielson fighting off everyone to get at each other! Danielson was able to scurry to the top ropediving onto Moxley and some security guards before getting dragged out of the ring, as the show went to commercial break.
After the commercial break Don Callis and Rhino are in the ring with Callis making a huge announcement that after X, NWA East Coast will debut the NWA East Coast Television title with a televised tournament! The Tv title will be defended on every episode of NWA East Coast here on FOX 53 Pittsburgh! The first man to enter the tournament is…
The roof nearly comes off the arena as Drake Younger comes down through the crowd carrying a light tube that has “EQUALIZER” written on it in black sharpie. He’s got a mic in his other hand as Don Callis is pissed that Younger would interupt him. Younger let’s Callis know he’s pretty p***ed off that he wasn’t allowed in the building last week, and he’s not happy with Rhino goreing the NWA President through a table! If Rhino want’s to pick a fight he shouldn’t look any further than “The Mossy Oak Maniac”! Younger hops the barricade and gets in the ring staring down the NWA East Coast champion the entire time! Younger teases hitting Rhino with the light tube as Callis tries talking down Younger, but it’s just a distraction as Morishima hits the ring and it’s a two on one against Younger!
The place comes unglued again as the World Heavyweight champion, CM Punk rushes to the aid of Younger carrying a steel chair as he wraps it around the head of Morishima before taking on the NWA East Coast champion Rhino!
SINGLES MATCH
“Mossy Oak Maniac” Drake Younger & CM Punk def. Takeshi Morshima & Rhino w/ Don Callis
A ref rushes to the ring and this becomes a match as Rhino and Morishima regroup with Callis outside of the ring going into the last commercial break. When we come back Chris Lyons lets us know we missed Punk diving out of the ring and taking out Rhino, Callis and Morshima! Punk and Takeshi have paired off in the crowd, as Younger and Rhino are fighting in the crowd on the opposite side as camera men scramble around trying to take in all the action! When both pairings get back to the ring area all hell breaks lose and Rhino tries to gore Punk but ends up getting planted with a huge DDT, following up with a G2S on the NWA East Coast champion! Younger has his light tube in hand and smashes it over the head of Morshima as both Punk and Younger go for covers! Three seconds later and the team of Punk and Younger are victorious as Callis is beside himself after seeing his investments go down as the debut show of NWA East Coast on FOX fades to black!
