Interview with Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho came out and said he has signed a contract with RoH, but tonight, he was on his own time. He wasn't in CPW to make money or get friends. In the past he has been billed as the 'Man of 1004 Holds', the "Iatola of Rock-an-Rolla", a Sexy Beast, Y2J, Vitamin C, The living legend, Larger than life. While all of that is true, his puropse here tonight it to show Daniels, California Pro and the NWA that he is nothing more that "gods gift to wrestling". He has plans in the NWA, and if by chance, the heavens and the stars align, then so be it. For years it has been Daniels this... Daniels that. He is the man who set ECW, the WWF adn WCW on fire. He is the man who will bring true grace to the NWA (at that point, Daniels jumped Daniels and they bralwed around on the satge a bit before security broke them up.
One on One Match
Evan Sydal -v- Caprice Coleman
Caprice Coleman defeated Evan Sydal by count out in 10:15 after Abyss came out and stalked his former 'boss'.
Tag Team Match
Dos Luchador Loco -v- Joe Hennig & Dolph Ziggler
This was a one sided match that really did nothing other than show the talents of Dolph and Joe. As such Joe Hennig & Dolph Ziggler defeated Dos Luchador Loco when Henning pinned Luchador Loco II with the Perfect Plex in 5:15.
prior to this match, Tommy Dreamer announced this grudge match would be a "Loser never to Return Match".
No DQ Grudge Match - Loser Never To Return
Christopher Daniels -v- Chris Jericho
This match saw both men use anything and everything that wasn't bolted down! They used chairs, tables a ladder, a few cups of beer and a bathroom stall door in an effort to banish the other from CPW. In the end, it was a can of mace from a fan's purse that Jericho got a hold of and the Codebreaker that did Daniels in at the 15:59 mark. After the match the fans started chanting "Thank you Daniels!" "Thank you Daniels!" Jericho took the mic and started berating the fans, saying that they should be thanking him... Thanking him for riding CPW of that worthless, no good, untalented, has been! What Jericho didn't see durring his tirade, as an EMT come out and help Daniles get the irritant out of his eyes. As Jericho turned around, there stood CPW's "Fallen Angel"! A kick to the gut and then the Angel Wings, planting Jericho in the center of the ring! Daniels said his good bye's as the fans gave him a standign ovation.
