CPW Tag Team Tournament Match
Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Robert Roode) defeated Ink Inc. (Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal) when Ted DiBiase pinned Jesse Neal with the Dream Street in 15:01.
A good back and forth match that saw both teams show why they are both considered a good points in the NWA, and possibly future tag champs. Money Inc was the more technically sound of the two teams, with Ink Inc. the faster. In the end, Money Inc prevailed. After the match Money Inc. challenged any team from anywhere else in the NWA to a match at the next show! Ted said that they would provide the airfare, ground transportation, hotel and hospital rooms. They were looking to prove a point, and felt that beating another team on their way to the CPW Tag Team Titles, then the NWA Titles was the way to go.
CPW Television Title Tournament Match
Matt Morgan pinned Alex Riley after a power slam in 08:11.
A pretty one sided match that saw Morgan dominate, but it did see Alex come back for a good few minutes until Alex got caught with a HUG boot to the face out of nowhere to set up a Morgan powerslam for the win.
CPW Television Title Tournament Match
Christian pinned Sin Cara with the C-Section in 13:00.
Both men went back and forth. Cara used his high risk moves to try and keep Christian off balance. Christian didn't go to the top as much as in the past, but he did use the top rope as a weapon as he busted out a superplex and ultimately his new finisher, the C-Section, a top-top over the knee gut-buster.
CPW Tag Team Tournament Match
LAX (Hernandez and Anarquia) defeated The Thrillseekers (Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston) when Anarquia defeated Evan Bourne by disqualification in 12:10.
LAX dominated a good portion of this match with their power advantage. Late in the match, Borne and Kingston, Borne especially, started to bend the rules. The end came when Bourne apparently had enough and belted Anarquia with the ring bell.
In a post match interview, Kofi questioned Evan as to why he had gone to the extent that he had, and Borne said he was tired of playing the 'Stereo-typical' nice kid. He was ready to show his true self. He told Kofi he had a week to make up his mind. Keep going down the road of lies or do what he wanted, WHEN he wanted! Bourne then left, leaving Kofi and Anderson stunned at ringside.
CPW Television Title Tournament Match
Christopher Daniels pinned Shelton Benjamin with the Best Moonsault Ever in 15:09.
This match went back and forth, with both men beating the hell out of each other. Neither man gave an inch and the fans were into both men hitting their high risk moves. The end came as Benjamin tried to nail Daniels with a Superplex, but Daniels was able to shift his weight mid-move and came down on top of Benjamin. Daniels ended it with the BME in a very good if not great match!
CPW Television Title Tournament Match
The Miz pinned Samoa Joe after a crucifix in 28:41. Both men gave it their all in nearly 30 minutes of non stop action. Both men were able to hit their finishers on the other and able to kick out as well! Neither man wanted to give the other the satisfaction of getting the one up. In the end, Val Venis was able to distract Joe just long enough that The Miz was able to swing up, grab on and pull off a crucifix pin to steal the win. As the show went off the air, Val and The Miz were retreating up the ramp as Joe sat in the ring... with a pissed look, that suddenly turned to a smile.... a wicked looking smile.
