The Miz opened the show. He said he has Orton's number. One of the presumed 'NWA greats' and yet, he had yet to pin The Miz for the three count. The Miz said that sure Orton is a former, FORMER NWA champion, but the Miz is a FUTURE champion! Tonight, the Miz would show the world that he is the next NWA Champion, because he is the Miz... and he is AAAAAWWWWWWSSSSSOOOOOOOMMMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One on One Match
The Miz -v- Caprice Coleman
Caprice Coleman defeated The Miz by pinfall after Randy Orton hit Miz with the RKO in 08:02.
Hernandez came out and said that last week he did what he did, because he was tired of holding up the team. He said that Anarchia didn't hold up his end of the deal, and he got sent packing, now Sabian wasn't holding up his end of the deal. [Hernandez shows the clip from last weeks show where he leaves Sabian to fend for himself against Money Inc.]
As the clip comes to an end, Sabian comes out and tells Hernandez that he is glad that it was put to an end the way it did, rather than they be forced to work together, week after painful week, month after god forsaken month! Sure there were better ways to do it, but it is done and so be it! [right then, Carlito ambushes Sabian from behind and fights with him to the ring. Sabian is clearly caught off guard, and is unprepared. Carlito throws him into the ringside barrier, then the ring post, before rolling the dazed Sabian into the ring, at the feet of Hernandez. Hernandez looks down, then out at Carlito. He ponders for a moment, as Sabian tries to get to his feet, but is shaken from the beating. Hernandez helps Sabian to his feel then just levels him with a HUGE short arm lariat! Carlito rolls into the ring and they shake hands and stand over the beaten Sabian. Right then, the CPW Champions music hits as Alberto Del Rio makes his way out, applauding the two men. ADR told them he was proud of them, proud that they stood up for what was right and just in this situation. Proud that they had come to realize that they were being held back in the NWA. He said that if they joined him, they would sky rocket to the top of CPW, and the NWA.
Carlito asked how? ADR replied that by being the 'most dangerous champion in the NWA', he has pull, clout, the stroke to get it done. ADR then said that all he has been hearing about recently is Rhino... Rhino this and Rhino that. In all the years that Rhino has been in wrestling what has he EVER amounted to?? NWA World Heavyweight Champion? nope... The closest might have been the ecw champion.... maybe. Now he is some big shot is some little known federation.. He may be something big to some idiots who can't get out of their rooms from watching re-runs of 'ECW on TNN'. Rhino is glorifying everything that is wrong with the NWA, and he is here to show that he, Alberto Del Rio IS the future of the NWA, and is destined to once again regin supreme as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion!
One on One Match
Matt Morgan -v- Joe Hennig
This match went back and forth. Morgan nearly took Henning's head off with the Carbon Footprint, but Ziggler distracted the big man, allowing Joe to get out of the ring. Joe took the count out loss as the two walked away in 5:12.
As they gloated, Tommy Dreamer appeared and told them to get back in the ring! Dolph was in his street clothes, and Dreamer didn't care! He told Henning and Ziggler that Mysterio was Morgan's partner and to get back for the new match, or they were suspended for the next 30 days!
Tag Team Match
Matt Morgan/Rey Mysterio -v- Joe Hennig/Dolph Ziggler
This new tag match again went back and forth. Morgan picked up with Hennig where he left off only moments before. Rey was quick on the tags a swell, working very good with Morgan. But the duo of Ziggler and Hennig were just as well off. They caught a break and focused on the still injured arm of Mysterio. Morgan tried to help his partner, but in the end, it was his trying to help that spelled the end of the match. Dolph hit the Zigg-Zagg for the pin in 13:49 after Morgan tried to come in the ring. Hennig was able to use a hidden belt buckle to knock Mysterio for a momentary loop and allowed Dolph to end it.
Chris Jericho came out and said that last week he did what he said he was going to do... end the CPW career of Christopher Daniels. He sent Daniels packing... off to 'Never Never Land'. Chris Jericho said that he was better that Daniels in WCW, in Japan and in Mexico. Over the years, they all said that Daniels was the 'next big thing' in wrestling. Well, in one night, the next big thing was turned in to 'last years news'. Jericho said he was in CPW not for the money, but he is getting a lot of it! He said he wasn't here for the fans, the they think he is! He was here for the golden opportunity, an opportunity that only CPW can provide! This summer, CPW is going to hold the King of the Ring tournament, and he will win it. Jericho said that by winning the King of the Ring, he would get a shot at the NWA World Championship.. a championship he has already held 6 time in his short and illustrious career. Sooner or later, the NWA would grant him his oppertunity, and he would take the NWA by storm!
One on One Match
Christian -v- Matt Hardy
Hardy took it to Christian early in the match and worked over the Canadian like his life depended on it. Hardy was looking better that the last time we saw him two weeks ago, and his speed was almost back to his younger days. Christian tried to get back into his groove, but he was still suffering from an injury. Hardy hit a DDT for the in in 9:12.
CPW Television Championship Match
Randy Orton -v- Ken Anderson (c)
Both men came out and were determined to win. The match went all over the place! The ref took a spill, and in that time that he was out, Morgan nailed Anderson with the Carbon footprint on the arena floor, and the Miz blasted Orton with the Skull Crushing Finally on the arena floor! When the ref came too, he saw both men outside and counted them out, even going so far as to count to 20!
